Metro Detroit’s 11 Best Restaurants and Cafes for Korean Food | Eater Detroit

"In addition to being a go-to grocery store for Korean provisions, few places serve a consistent, comforting Korean meal like H-Mart’s cafeteria. Lunch can get pretty busy, but there’s plenty of communal-style seating available, and a wide menu including vermicelli noodles, soondubu, fried dumplings, bulgogi, and bibimbap." - Danny Palumbo

As Asian store, this place carry many products from Asian countries. Ramen noodles, sake, kimchi with a thousand year recipe, breads, cold products, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, etc. Inside the store there a small cafeteria where you can order food to go or eat in the spot (at least 5 tables for seating) or buy ready-made product such as sushi. Prices for the foods are very decent. This store is wheelchair accessible big isle for the wheelchair with big restroom. It is a join parking with other businesses, big parking lot

Love shopping here. It’s super clean, well-organized, and packed with a huge selection of Asian groceries—from fresh produce and seafood to snacks and sauces you won’t find anywhere else. The food court is also a hidden gem. Great options for a quick bite while you shop. Staff is polite and checkout is usually fast. Definitely my go-to for Korean and Japanese ingredients. Always a fun visit.

We're traveling from California and are big fans of Hmart, so we made the 80-mile drive from our hotel to the Troy, Michigan location. The store looked large both inside and out, but unfortunately, it didn’t have some of the items we typically find at other Hmart locations. The kimchi they had was overly fermented—I bought two, and both were more sour than I prefer. I was hoping for fresher kimchi, so I was a bit disappointed. However, since this is the only Hmart within 100 miles of where we're staying, we’ll likely be back.

I love trying different foods and this place has so many different things you can try! The pink pineapple is so sweet & juicy! I love the Matcha Latte and how it comes with a straw already! The strawberry KitKats are a 10/10, truly sensational! The turtle chips are good as well.

Google
Great prices on all food and condiments. I love getting our low sodium soy sauce here. They have a large selection of hard-to-find veggies, unique noodles, yummy Kimchi. Really pretty Asian items as well.

Google
Visited Korean H Mart today and I was surprised how clean the store was. They have everything I needed for my Korean dish that I am planning to make. They also have a great selection of produce especially the seafood section. Lots of dry goods, Korean side dishes, frozen foods, etcs. I like that everything is wrapped neatly. Overall, customer service was really great and the employees were friendly as well.

Google
Very good store. Had what I needed and there are many seafood options. 5 stars out of 5 stars 👍.

Google
As an unworldly person, this place was very peculiar to me. My wife who has a wider pallet found this super market incredible. So many new flavors and treats to try. The staff were as helpful as they could be with limited English Proficiency and we were unable to find anything from the tiktok videos my wife has consumed but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Yelp
I enjoyed the variety but, I found it overpriced and crowded. The ambiance was very modern and ther was staff walking by but, not helpful. The only time I received ANY customer service was when my mussels rang up wrong and the cashier without saying a SINGLE word to me walked away to check the price, changed the price correctly without saying a word to me. If I go back, it will be to run in for the lobster salad and right back out.

Yelp
Located in a crowded strip mall off of busy Dequindre and Big Beaver. Inside is a bright clean Asian market, with everything from meat (including sliced sashimi) to health and beauty products, to sake and beer. Lots of Asian grocery products, both refrigerated and dry. Staff was nice and polite. Great selection and good prices.

Yelp
All the food they serve is delicious. It's amazing that they're able to have such a vast menu in such a small kitchen and they prepare all of them quite quickly. I love coming here because they have something for everyone and for whatever you're in the mood for. The workers are very nice and were accommodating about the Sundae. The area is food court style, clean as you go. It is all affordable so I come here to eat whenever I'm in the area.

Yelp
We made about a 45 minute commute to try out H-Mart. What can I say, I'm a sucker for grocery stores that also have a cafe. I was not prepared for how busy the place would be. There was a line in the road to even turn in to the parking lot. The store was chaotic and stressful. We started out by making a lap around the store and picked up some noodles, ban chan, and rice. We made it all the way around and couldn't find the cafe the first trip. (It's behind the banchan section and there is a tiny opening past sake/drinks.) We ended up in the check out line, which wrapped all the way around the front of the store. The store was packed with people and items with an overwhelming atmosphere. We put out groceries in the car and found the cafe on a second lap around. I ordered the spicy beef short rib stew. It came with 2 banchan and white rice. My husband ordered the dotsol beef bibimbap. I was a little disappointed with my stew because it only had 2 pieces of very fatty beef. It was also supposed to have veggies, but it was all kimchi. I was envious of the table next to me with a bulgogi rice bowl that looked much better. The seating in the cafe was very tight with no room to refill water or get by to take your plates. I will say that the prices are great for a large amount of food! Overall, I found the whole experience very stressful.

Yelp
Overall - great restaurant and grocery store. The restaurant isn in a corner of the grocery store. All typical Korean foods. Nothing special but evening is good and made quickly. I got the spicy beef with vege. It was wonderful. Again not the best but very good. Would come back again. The grocery store is vast with fresh produce and seafood and meat. The sale items are fantastic. We enjoyed browsing every aisle. Service was good. Will be back to shop and eat.

Yelp
Great place to get all your Asian groceries, very clean and had a great selection of fresh produce and seafood. I usually come for the different varieties of ramen, which did not disappoint.

Yelp
Love that there is an H Mart in Michigan. It is a drive from Novi but I come here at least once a week for Korean & other Asian items. Produce area is my fave since it is hard to get your hands on some good asian veggies here. They have good stuff and everything (except some fruits) are in good condition. Meats are my next fave item to get here. I love the family pack beef and pork...my family eats a lot of meat so it lasts us a week and a half or longer. It is good quality and tastes good. The little Korean restaurant inside is also a nice touch...love the tangsuyuk there!

Yelp
I went to H-Mart yesterday for the first time and was really impressed! The produce was stocked really well and full of fruits and veggies you don't normally see at big box American grocers. I got some fresh passion fruit (my favorite!), mangosteens, several varieties of pears, Thai bananas and a few different kinds of mushrooms, all at a VERY reasonable price given they're most, if not all, imported. There's also one of the largest seafood selections I've seen outside of a dedicated fish market (including sushi grade options) and a ton of different cuts of beef and pork, aisles of ramen and other packaged noodles, snacks, sauces, condiments, etc, etc. I also picked up some refrigerated udon meals, a few marinades and oils, some frozen tteokbokki, and a few packaged desserts. Unfortunately since I was there late I wasn't able to check out the food court (in fact I don't even remember seeing it!) which I'd like to do next time I come. My only complaint is I was there an hour before close and was somewhat aggressively reminded several times by different staff members that registers were closing soon. I worked retail for almost a decade so I get itchin' to get out of there, but kicking people out before closing time isn't a great approach. But I will say the guy that checked me out was really friendly, even if he was shooing me out the door at the same time. Ha.

Yelp
I haven't been here in years, but they really changed the place up and updated it over the past 4? Years that I've been gone. A huge variety of everything you could think you need and want for an Asian cuisine. The produce is a for sure highlight with an eclectic selection. The ramen and condiment aisle(s) alone will take you an hour of browsing. And the meat was beautiful and packaged to perfection for a good Korean bbq night. Very happy with this place and glad I am back in the area to get my authentic Asian fixings.

Yelp
Today was my last visit to H Mart from the other side of town. It's easy feel enamored with the great selection of dry goods. However, spend your money elsewhere on produce, seafood and meat products if they're available where you live. This place is a scam on so many levels. I get it, you won't find razor thin slices of pork belly and other specialty cuts for hot pot etc...but the prices for such items will spin your head in every direction. My biggest issue with this market is their SEAFOOD counter. Don't buy into any of it. I've purchased "fresh fish" that smelled like it had been rotting for months when I cut open the bag. And shrimp that looked ok in the case but was totally slimy when I started to prep it. Also, "fresh squid" that was less than dog food grade. On my last visit I bought a bag of mussels. 1/3 were broken. 1/3 didn't open. The remaining pile of food poisoning is shown in the photo I've posted with this review. Don't drive out of your way to visit this hot mess. It's worth it to hit up a mom and pop family owned place closer to home and spend a few more bucks on the products you need than to spend your money at H Mart.

Rowan D.

Yelp
Love the great selection and prices. Store is clean and organized, staff was happy to help.

Yelp
They need to improve their rewards card usage between husband and wife. This is disgusting because they take both our money by buying hundreds and hundreds of money every twice a month coming in this store.

Yelp
So happy to find a wide variety of HBAF nuts including injeolmi (roasted soy bean powder), garlic bread (so good with croutons), jeju matcha, toffee nut crunch, and so so many more. We got one flavor each. They're not cheap but they're so worth it - hey they're much cheaper than an airplane ticket to South Korea. I also found some of the newest Kit Kat flavors - melon and salt lemon. Love this HMart!
google avatar

Jaewoo S.

Yelp
I can always get ingredients to make kimchi from H Mart. A way to save when everything is getting expensive. Cabbage $3.17 Green onion $1.00/2 using one $0.50 Chives $3.99/3 using one $1.25 Radish $0.98 using half $0.50 Fish sauce $6.99 5 spoons $0.70 Plum syrup $11 4 spoons $0.70 Sugar $0.50 2 spoons Minced garlic $0.50 3 spoons Red pepper $1.50 Total $9.32. Half the price of store sold $18.99 kimchi.

Yelp
The Korean food in the food court was horrible. It gave my mom and me an upset stomach. From the time we walked in, it smelled like a Chinese store. WTF we traveled 2 hours and 30 minutes for a KOREAN store not a CHINESE store. We could not trust half the products due to it reminding us of a Chinese store. The store reaked of rotting fish and had a weird spice smell. By judging the entire store stinking, we could not trust the sanitation of the store and walked out with only a few items.

Yelp
Huge selection, reasonable prices. Good parking, only problem is no help finding things.

Yelp
The small H-Mart Korean food mart. I had so much high hopes for this place. But it was very disappointing. What we ordered: Soy Garlic Chicken rate at 2/5 - it is missing flavor. Blazing Chicken rate at 2/5 - it is NOT spicy blazing what is expecting as a Korean fried chicken The bulgogi plate with rice, rate at 2/5 - the dish came out sweet with a lot of sauce. It's not how we expected it to be. Kalbi Tang was ok. rate 3/4 Ox knee bone soup, not bad. rate at 3/5 Bibimbop, not bad rate at 4/5 I wish they offered a variety of banchan, but it was just kimchi & pancake. - The food tray is dirty - the utensils is somewhat clean but some were dirty too - The tables were sticky, and the chairs were ok/ clean I won't recommend to eat here. the Market/ Grocery store: I like many of their options, like their veggie options, seafood, meats, soju, Korean beer, and their snacks.

Yelp
be careful, they check everyone's ID that is buying alcohol. they must have updated their policy. never had that happened before where i'm with someone and they ask for their ID too. other than that, this place is honestly getting expensive... i'm smelling greed because other asian stores is not this ridiculous. also, the restaurant inside this hmart... going downhill too. one time, there was a fly dead on a container of food that they're selling. another time, they had mold on the food i bought. i think these health inspectors needs to shut it down. the food is getting worse and worse each time. you want to keep giving them chances because they were doing well at first and that maybe it's just a one time incident but one after another and after another.. i don't get it. is it the management? i would be disappointed to sell things i'm not happy with. i won't be surprise if their sales are going down.

Yelp
Troy is more than hour from my stomping grounds but when I'm in the area, I have to stop at H Mart. The produce section is amazing, with the best assortment of mushrooms and greens. The fresh seafood section is directly behind the produce. Avoid this section if you are sensitive to the fish smell. Keep moving along the back wall for fresh fish and sashimi options. Don't skip the freezer case in the middle of the aisle. I picked up eel, and frozen tamago for the best price I've ever found in Michigan. If you are a fan of noodles, the ramen selection is huge. I prefer sweet potato starch noodles and grabbed a big bag. The rice cake section is in the center of the store and again, best prices I've ever seen. The fresh section of ban chan didn't have pickled white radish, which was a huge bummer but the spiced tofu is great. I popped it in the broiler to crisp it up. This is one of the only places I can find canned rambutan. So glad to be able to make the stop when in the area. Watch for stray carts, and be mindful that you aren't walking into the Aldi. The doors are right next to each other.

Yelp
Great selection of Asian foods - some which take me back to my childhood! What I love about HMart is the selection of pre-marinated meats and sides to make Korean BBQ right at home. My only complaint is I wish this location was a tad bit bigger as it's hard to go down the isles with two carts at times.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been craving Korean food and H Mart has a mini food court inside! We got #2 and #9. The #2 (bimbibap) was nothing special but #9 was so good! #9 came in a huge bowl and had lots of noodles, veggies, and seafood. It was spicy but not too spicy. The portion size was huge - as my mom, dad, and I shared it.

Yelp
So grateful to finally find mooncakes for Mid-Autumn Festival! Store was clean and employees were incredibly helpful. Everyone was so kind and really friendly to my daughter. Worth the 30 minute drive!

Yelp
I have been wanting to check out an H-Mart for a long time now and it was better than I was expecting! The grocery store on its own has soo many unique Asian products. I was blown away by the amount of fresh seafood they had available. Their produce section looked good too. After we explored the whole store, we went to their little cafe area where they have a decently sized menu of lots of different options. I was wanting to try something new so I went for the Ojing-O Dupbap which is pan-sautéed calamari & vegetables in a hot and spicy sauce. It comes on a plate with white rice and is served with what I think was a mild pickled vegetables portion, and a broth that tasted like chicken. They also had fried squid sticks for $1 so I got one. $1!!! For 2 pieces of breaded squid!! Everything was honestly so good and tasty. The entree was a huge portion and I had leftovers for a whole other meal. It was pretty spicy/hot but not unbearable or anything. I was also surprised by the broth. That was super good. The prices were great here as well! I hope to come back here soon and try another thing on the menu.

Yelp
Got variety of Korean food and groceries including banchans. Their prices are reasonable for the most part. They are pretty stocked most of the times. Be on the look out for their sale items. Just be sure to take pics of the sale prices since some cashiers don't acknowledge it and started to become really rude towards you. It's only happened once out of several trips we've been in there. Other than that, it's a good store to get some k grocery supplies.

Tracy J.

Yelp
Loved the variety! Definitely will be back again. Bought some really neat things to try.

Yelp
H Mart has everything you could want for any Asian dish. They have good quality sake (which can be hard to find in the US). There is a whole aisle full of instant noodles (my personal favorite). Plenty of selection, including rice cookers and small appliances. They have a seafood counter for fresh fish. My favorite part is the food court. No grocery shopping trip is complete for me without a dolsot bibimbap. H Mart is a bit of a trek for me and can get very busy on the weekend. But it's worth it if you're looking for the best quality Asian ingredients or a yummy, quick meal.

Yelp
I love H-mart, they've got the best kimchi selection I've been able to find here in Michigan. They always keep the store well stocked and the employees are always kind and courteous. I've never had a bad experience here. I just saw that in the side of the store they have opened up a little restaurant so I'm excited to stop by there and check out the Korean food the next time I'm shopping!

Yelp
I have always enjoyed coming here for gather snacks for my family. The kids crave the sweets, chips, drinks...etc. But what really brought me here today was a comment on Youtube. I was searching everywhere Korean corn dogs. While watching a mukbang where the vlogger had to make her own corn dogs a commenter suggested going to H Mart. Being a longtime customer I raced over here to find a great assortment of bags. They have the cheese and hotdog, hotdog, and potato cheese and hotdog varieties. I purchased the potato hotdog. I have not tried it yet, but really look forward to seeing how it tastes. I finally found a way to satisfy my craving without traveling to LA or beyond! We also were excited to try the fish shaped ice cream novelties. I got the chocolate and the red bean. Sooo good! I also purchased many of their sweet snacks today. Some Doraemon dorayaki, a crepe cake slice, and several roll cakes. This store is a nice size. Very organized. Clean and well stocked. They offer plastic gloves to use to shop. Their instore restaurant is open and you may eat there. I have not eaten at their food court, but it looks really nice.

Yelp
It's awesome that Michigan has an H Mart, and if I'm being honest, this is one of the best H Marts I have been to. The selection here is phenomenal and matches H Mart stores you could find in Chicago, Toronto, LA, NYC, etc. The store is also quite clean and the service is excellent. Size wise, the store is quite small, but again, you can still find everything you would expect to find in an H Mart here. The prices are also pretty reasonable too, and the food court is not to be missed either. This store is a major W for the Metro Detroit area, and I'll certainly be back here the next time I need to be in Metro Detroit for any reason.

Yelp
Great Asian supermarket that has an excellent selection. I frequently find new and interesting things to try when I stop in along with the ingredients that brought me there.

Yelp
We make the trip, from 3 hours away, to the area 2-3x a year to shop at 168 Asian Market. Found this place online and decided to give it a go last weekend. OMG...the wall of frozen dumplings had me mesmerized! So many choices! It's a good thing we brought 2 coolers with us! The prices were a bit higher than the other store but worth it. We're for sure going back!
google avatar

Dawn V.

Yelp
There will always be things here here that I can't get anywhere else in the area so I'll return over and over Today, the white peaches were on sale and the best peaches I've ever bought anywhere in Michigan- it's seasonal but I'll go back this week until they're gone- maybe freeze some. Many items I buy here, I really shouldn't: Frozen boba milk tea bars, frozen Korean pancakes in cinnamon and brown sugar flavors, dukbokki from the freezer, fridge and food court sections because I'm addicted to it- And of course all the noodles. Probably a good thing I don't live too close. We lived in Seoul for two years and this is really the only place that comes close to satisfying the foods we miss.
google avatar

Carrieq R.

Yelp
Great place to shop, except can't ever get Thai basil. Excellent duck! Lobster 8.99 lb. As everybody, the prices have gone way up on many things and often things aren't in stock...ie no daikon. Fish monger used to clean and prepare but not enough help. Eat in the restaurant in the back for excellent food!!

Yelp
The coolest things happen when you're on your way to a restaurant, but then you see what's going on next door and you're like, "Let's go there instead." So we did because what we saw was exciting AF. Let's do this! Haemul Pajun: First time I had proper korean was with this dish. So I constantly gravitate to it. Yes, the ones served here are phenomenal. Better than some weak sauce fast korean restaurants that I know of. Dolsot Tofu Bibimbap: My mother had this and I had a taste of it. It was totally wonderful. Drop the gochujang on it and the world is a better place. Comes with a side of kimchi and miso soup. #WinningSet Jampong: Hot and Spicy,, the broth will definitely get you in the throat. Come with some pretty intricate seafood ingredients too. This is a very strong bowl of soup. Soondobu Jjigae: Yes,, my favorite of all korean dishes. Probably a contender dish for my last supper. The ones served here is some ultra powerful stuff. Again, probably miles better than some of the weak sauce korean restaurant versions around the area. I totally adore this spot. Because after over eating from all the good stuff. You can walk around the store and check out everything else they're slinging. I would love to be back, I'm sure everybody else will. Oh,, something in me weighed pretty heavy when I was dining in there. Some American lady, probably a "Farmer." She was eating at the table right behind us. But when I came around with my bubbling hot Soondobu in a tray. She said, "That's not safe!" Loud enough for me to hear. I shot her a glance immediately. My thoughts are, "Probably not safe for STUPID FARMER AMERICANS like yourself." Woosah! Woooooosah!! Negative energy purged! Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!

Yelp
This is my go-to Korean grocery store in the metro Detroit area. (Just like Noble Fish is my go-to Japanese grocery store and 168 is my go-to general Asian/Chinese grocery store.) H Mart is a chain supermarket, so you know what they're selling is clearly working and they are very dependable! This place has good prices, sometimes a bit expensive on certain items if you know where to look and which supermarket to best buy from, but I can count on coming here to pick up all my Korean-based essentials and often choose to come here to pick up prepared meat, specifically shabu shabu, for hot pot as well. Love H Mart!

Yelp
This is an awesome place. I was cold in the store. I was a little overwhelmed. Cant wait to go back.

Yelp
Amazing cuts of meat and seafood don't see in American grocery stores. So many frozen dumpling options. Limited selection of housewares and Korean beauty supplies. Very neat and tidy.

Yelp
First time to a market offering such an amazing selection of Asian foods. I enjoyed walking through and looking at all the different selections. Fresh produce was well displayed and fresh. Business proper was very clean and well organized. Staff was amazing. Can't wait to go back and purchase more delicious specialty selections to add to my culinary delights! This is a fun shopping location with many businesses to brows through to make purchases as well as dine!

Yelp
2020-01-31. So my last review was quite a few years ago, and I just realized that it was on the restaurant inside H Mart and not on H Mart itself. H Mart is a franchise, and this one is a good size compared to others I've been to. It's a Korean grocery chain that specializes in preparing ingredients for Asian dishes. Hot Pot, BBQ, Noodles, and soups. They carry pretty much every ingredient you would need for most Asian dishes of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese cuisine. I come to this location mainly for their cuts of meat and for their seafood. They carry fresh squid, octopus, sushi grade fishes, and a nice variety of pickled veggies that surpasses the selection found in the larger Chinese/Vietnamese supermarkets in Madison Heights. While their prices are noticeably higher here as well, they take great care and pride in preparing and packaging over it's competitors. This location also carries American Wagyu beef in addition to Black Angus brand. The store is clean and bright and the aisles are wide enough for two way traffic. The majority of the staff speaks English, but there is a minority where it's not a strong point. If you happen to request help from them, they will seek someone else to help you, so don't be offended. They don't hate you, they just can't communicate well with you. Many Koreans seem to shop here as well, so if you see some foreign product and would like to know what it is, I found that customers were very helpful in reading and interpreting. H Mart is not the new kid on the scene. I was shopping here before I learned of 168. I was a fan of H Mart then, and I'm still a fan of H Mart now. Like I said earlier, this is my go to place for cuts of meat and seafood, and it will remain so. 4 stars. In taking a quick peek at their in-store restaurant, I did notice that their menu has changed, so I will need to revisit and re-review sometime in the near future. If You would like to experience more, come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company... Bon Appétit!

Yelp
One of the better markets in the area. Always stocked. Great deals. Super nice staff.

Yelp
This H-Mart was smaller than the ones I'm used to in the NY/NJ area, but it did it's job. We got everything that we needed and then some. My main goal was to buy some ingredients to make kimbap and ddukbokki. BF wanted Milkis and Vita items. They also have a very decent Chinese/Japanese variety - their frozen dumpling section is VERY extensive. Produce was fresh and even had items we couldn't find at the local supermarket in Dearborn. I do wish their prepared foods section was better - in NYC H-Marts there were prepacked japchae, kimbap, mandu, and chapssaltteok. I really wanted some japchae. They did have a really good daifuku selection through.

Yelp
This has been on my bucket list for a while but it is a poke. The mart is amazing. If you are a fish person, literally I don't think there is a better place. Fresh, alive, frozen, dried - they have all the choices. Lots of fresh veggies. Packs and pouches, sauces and rice. Kimchee galore. It is seriously the best...I should have gone when I first heart about it (like...5 years ago)

Yelp
Pretty cool store. I was going to Aldi next door to pick up some essentials, and we decided to stop in here beforehand, to browse. They have a large selection of vegetables, meats, and snacks. I'm all about the snacks. On our way out, we saw that they had honey butter potato chips, which were pretty exciting because previously we had ordered a bag off eBay from Singapore. They are very hard to find in the United States, or so I thought, and a large-ish bag was $2, on sale. They have a little cafe area too that I'd like to try at some point. Overall, interesting selection of foods and I will be back soon.

Yelp
Their little food court is so good! I've been coming here for years to get a quick and cheap bite to eat! Their jjompong is great! The soup is rather spicy but the noodles are perfectly cooked and there's a good assortment of seafood and veggies. The jajanmyeon is another favorite! The black bean sauce is fantastic! I don't recommend the large one with assorted seafood though, it tastes like the kind you get from the packets on the shelf. I also love the sweet and sour pork and fried dumplings! Overall a great little spot for quick, easy and inexpensive Korean food!

Yelp
This is fairly new for a Korean market because there is Hanmi where it is a good small stop by Korean market where you pick up what you need. HMart recently came through and even extended their market to a really big and various types within this one market. There is now utensils, makeup, medicine, and even a food court. However, the quality is over the top. The food court has amazing authentic Korean food! I love getting Korean snacks and mochi ice cream. One thing is that it is always cold there so bring your coats. They need to sell bubble tea now! Tip: you do not have to be Korean a lot of non-Koreans come to try what Hmart has to offer your taste buds. REALLY GOOD SALES :)

Yelp
Wow so much things to choose from! I it here! I was able to find all my Asian needs to make my delicious recipes at home. I live the fact they have a little resturant in the back just incase you are hungry before or after shopping. I rather eat before and walk it off. The place is pretty big. I look forward in going back!

Yelp
We come to the store a few times a year. Really like the meat department the selection is vast. We go there for the thin sliced wagyu beef . The beef is always sliced real thin and the marbling on the meat is perfect. The vegetable selection is really good. Always really fresh. Like the bok Choi and the long green onions my two faves. Definitely a place to check out if in the neighborhood.

Yelp
It's always so cold in this place! Like it might of been a tad warmer outside than in. Anyways, stopped in looking for Sujeonggwa. No dice! Sujeonggwa is a cinnamon punch that is given after eating Korean bbq. Actually when asked about the punch to anyone within the store they had no clue what it was which makes me sad. Ok, back to lunch. I walked in at 12:15 on a Monday and thought I should probably go eat real quick before the offices around here let out for lunch. Good thing I did because it got so busy. I got just basic ramen. It's literally from the package. It was ok, not good but ok. It really tasted like those plastic packages of ramen you can get from any grocer. I think the only difference is they add a bit of egg on top and a few stray veggies. It also came with spicy kimchi and some kind of very yellow fruit. Oh, and a small bowl of sticky white rice. If you go, go early, be patient. If you are looking for something good luck on your search. I'm still searching.
