HORRIBLE service. We did not go on a busy day, yet the employees clearly could not handle even a small crowd. Service was slow, disorganized, and the staff was extremely rude and unprofessional.
I asked to sample a flavor, and the employee struggled to even scoop the ice cream onto the spoon. Instead of handling it professionally, she said “bruh” and looked at me as if it were my fault. Completely inappropriate.
Then my mom asked to sample another flavor after having only one sample. The employee rudely snapped that they “only give out two samples,” even though my mom had only had one. The attitude was unnecessary and disrespectful.
The portion sizes are also absurd. We ordered one mini in a cone and one small in a cup. The small, which cost more and is supposed to be bigger, somehow had LESS ice cream than the mini. On top of that, the prices are ridiculous — over $5 for the smallest size.
We also paid extra for hot fudge as a topping, and they couldn’t even put it on the ice cream. Instead, they handed it to us on the side because they “couldn’t do it.” Unbelievable.
They claim their goal is to spread happiness and smiles, but not a single staff member showed a positive attitude or even cracked a smile. This place almost ruined what was supposed to be a fun day at the mall.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Skip this Häagen-Dazs at the Galleria Mall in Dallas. You’ll almost certainly have a better experience at literally any other ice cream spot in the mall.
