The 29 Best Restaurants in Busan, South Korea | Eater

"Haeundae Amsogalbijip is one of the most popular barbecue restaurants among Busan’s carnivores. Diners pile in to grill hanwoo beef — either plain or marinated in the restaurant’s special soy-based sauce — on in-table round grill plates. But the restaurant has become perhaps even more popular for the potato noodles served at the end of each meal. After customers are done grilling, staff come around to pour beef broth into the moat around the edge of the pan and cook the noodles in all that leftover meaty goodness. The restaurant also has an offshoot in New York, Yoon Haeundae Galbi. Note: Haeundae Amsogalbijip is currently under renovation and scheduled to reopen at the end of June." - Summer Sun-Min Lee

Yoon Brings Korean Barbecue to Midtown From Historic Family - Eater NY

"Bobby Yoon, who grew up in his grandfather’s Busan restaurant Haeundae Sommunan Amso Galbijip, which has been open in Korea since 1964, is using his grandfather’s recipes to bring a very traditional take on Korean food to Yoon Haeundae Galbi in New York City." - Stefanie Tuder

Very popular beef BBQ restaurant and it is listed on Michelin. Pricey but worth it. Meat was excellent - both the marinated and non-marinated versions. Service was good and ambience was modern and clean.

yes long wait. they had hot tea, blankets and space heaters. staff were efficient not rushed and courteous. we were able to get the last of the unmarinated meat. the banchan were good but no great. both beef marinated and unmarinated was great - also the potato noodle. if possible get a room with a view.

The food is quite expensive, but the quality of the meat is excellent, and the service is great. I was really lucky — there was no line when I arrived, so I got a table right away. But when I finished eating and walked out, there were almost 20 people waiting in line!

The meat here was super tender and clean-tasting, my parents were really happy with it. The soybean stew was especially memorable with its rich, deep flavor. This place is always packed, so you do have to register and wait in advance, which can be a bit of a hassle. But honestly, it’s totally worth it. Whenever I’m in Busan for vacation, this spot is a must-visit!

NOT worth waiting...The food was good but the servers were too rushing, extremely rude toward foreigners...Treating customers as a cow heard. 9o% of customers are tourists....yeap..a typical tourist trap, approved by Michelin Guide.

Excellent beef! The soybean stew with beef broth is so intense, it’s unforgettable. One of the best meal I ate in Busan.

We’re travel influencers, we spent 4x more than other similar restaurants and waited almost 2hrs for the worst experience! Food was ok but service is too bad. They just tried to push you to eat and finish asap so they can cram the next groups in. Rush, rude, no style at all. If they don’t change soon will lose the hype 👎

I live in Seoul and have family in Busan, but this restaurant is so famous that even locals don't often visit. This was my second time here, once before the renovation and again after. After two visits, I think I've finally found my groove. Haha. Honestly, if it were in Seoul, it would be just okay. I think it's a bit of a Busan tourist attraction. The meat is okay, but I wouldn't say it's exceptionally delicious. The potato noodles is not my type. The raw ribs are better than the marinated ones. Parking is convenient, the staff is friendly, and it's a great place for family gatherings.
