Brought my partner to celebrate her birthday here with Hai Tien Lo's Carnation Dinner Set Menu ($108pp). The food, ambience, and service were excellent. We especially loved the Duo of Crispy Fish and Prawn, Steamed Grouper, Barbecued Meat Trio, and Hokkien Stewed Rice. Only the Superior Stock with Braised Lobster was slightly off for us as the lobster's texture was pretty bad and the soup was quite bland. However, the other dishes were delicious and we were satisfied and satiated at the end. They were even so kind as to give a lavish birthday chocolate cake for our celebration. Kudos to the team and the chef for a wonderful meal!

Dim sum brunch in this classic Cantonese restaurant, this being our 3rd or 4th visit. Some of the dishes is aren’t as refined as when you order from the ala carte menu but that is to be expected. Dim sum were more memorable than most of the other mains etc. My advice would be to skip the brunch and go for ala crates dishes or dim sum.

3 stars because of the excellent service and ambience. The food was too fusion for my old fashioned palate. Even the teenager complained and said next time save money and go to Din Tai Fung. The menu is well curated, tweaked to bring innovation but unfortunately lost its original Cantonese flavours. The outcome was utterly disappointing. The 3 meats which usually is safe option, only the duck was nice and the roast pork was extremely fatty with smell and char siew too well marinated. The chee cheong fun was fried, yet tasteless and came with separate sauce of abalone sauce with bits of dried scallop. No option for prawn or char Siew. Too far fetched to save themselves from claiming to be a Cantonese dim sum restaurant. The har gows were great. Yam puff was tasty but extremely oily. Had to drink lots of tea to drown the oil. Thankfully, the tea was excellent. The Siew Mai was of same standard as coffee shop type. I think they used electric blender to mince the meat and prawn to so fine that it lacks punch. The truffle Char Siew Bao was pungent. Not great idea to blindly put truffle oil into traditional icons like Char Siew Bao. The black pepper beef cubes were very good but $42 for the smallest portion. The crab fried rice was tasteless and crab smelled like dirty rag cloth. They should have kept to regular Yangzhou fried rice or salted fish fried rice.

New chef Gideon from Macau helm Hai tien lo now and he specially curated set menu over two evenings are simply amazing. Especially the soup , Buddha jump over wall on first night and the pork rib huai shan soup on the second night simply steal the show. Also special mention the 15 years radish or cai po steamed fish is amazing. Go try!

This was our first visit to the renowned Hai Tien Lo at Pan Pacific, and we had heard plenty of praise through word of mouth about their exceptional food quality and flavors. Naturally, we were aware that they are on the pricier side, but we were eager to experience it for ourselves. Right from the start, we were impressed by the attentiveness of their staff. They kept a close eye on our tea, refilling it promptly without us having to ask—a small yet thoughtful touch. The service was impeccable, with everyone being polite and friendly. One staff member even approached me to check if I was feeling cold and offered a shawl, which was a thoughtful gesture that definitely earned extra points! As for the food, the quality was outstanding. The prawns were incredibly fresh, and the flavors were unquestionably more refined and elevated than your typical zi char experience—justifying the premium price point. The cooking methods showcased the restaurant's unique flair and expertise, giving us a truly one-of-a-kind dining experience (独一无二的感觉). We especially appreciated the creativity of the dishes. One standout was the unique combination of crab meat and broccoli—a pairing you wouldn’t typically encounter in everyday dining. The menu was well-organized and offered a wide array of choices, making it easy to find something for everyone. We were also celebrating a birthday, and the complimentary chocolate birthday cake they provided was a lovely surprise that made the occasion even more special. Thank you, Hai Tien Lou Team

After having a brilliant wedding dinner organized by HTL, we came back for mother celebrations over dim sum. We ordered the HTL style Beijing duck (huge duck) with the second course of duck meat (meat was juicy) fried with spring onion and ginger. We had also pre-ordered the same stewed Ee-Fu noodles with crab meat dish that was specially made for our wedding dinner. Love the richness and sweetness of it with loads of crab, scallop and prawn meat. Order Ala carte dim sum paired with the Gui Hua oolong tea. HTL knows Cantonese flavor really well and is deserving of top accolades of being the best, if not one of the best, Cantonese restaurant in Singapore. The cake was bought from the bakery downstairs, and we’ve been given a free serving of the red bean pancake. A brilliant gesture well-appreciated by my family. We were all stuffed full and very satisfied. A big thank your and appreciation to the team (Frankie, Apple, and Yvonne) who attended to us today. Of course, we will be back for sure.

Today, I brought my wife back to Hai Tien Lo to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We truly enjoyed the Jasmine Lunch Menu—the set lunch was well-curated, and the food was of a high standard. Thank you for a wonderful meal, and we look forward to visiting again.

2nd visit to Hai Tien Lo - food, service and ambience was great. Tried more than 10 different dishes, here are some that I would personally recommend: • Steamed buns with yam paste and salted egg yolk • Wok-fried diced Angus beef tenderloin, mushroom, black pepper, foie gras sauce • Steamed charcoal barbeque pork buns, black truffles • 佛跳墙

Yelp
One of the best weekend #dimsum brunch places in #singapore . It's an all you can eat, made to order brunch. The quality is amazing and service is great as well. The #buddhajumpsoverthewall #soup is so decadent with #abalone in the soup. We felt that each dim sum and cooked dishes were perfectly made. The live poached prawns were so fresh and sweet. If you're ever in Singapore, you have to come to Hai Tien Lo. They do have the dim sum brunch everyday, but the weekend one has more higher end items.

Yelp
I have to get this score down! If you are staying in the hotel (great hotel btw) and you have way too much money to throw away for less than average service and mediocre food, you can come here. Otherwise just go out in town and spend some nickles and dimes on way better experiences. Don't even start me on opening the wine-list prices ... Crispy duck Clay pot pork shoulder Beef tenderloin stew (this was not bad) Fried rice

Yelp
Their fried liushapau is to die for. The wait staff was extremely attentive, and friendly. I think you'll have to make reservations because the place can get quite crowded on weekends!

Yelp
I always wondered why the 2 most awesome meals like brunch and tea are mostly only available on weekends. Shouldn't we get options for these awesome meals like everyday? Well well, the folks at Pan Pacific Singapore certainly has gotten it right with their Weekday Dim Sum Lunch Buffet at Hai Tien Lo! The special weekday a la carte dim sum lunch menu is created by new Dim Sum Chef Lee Siaw Cheen and diners get to feast on an extensive selection of 35 soups, signature dishes, dim sum and desserts at $48. There are 4 new enhanced signature dim sum creations which include Deep-fried Yam Puff with Foie Gras, Baked Egg Tart with Imperial Swiflet's Nest and White Fungus, Steamed Berkshire Pork "Char Siu" Buns and Crispy Carrot Cake with Hai Tien Lo's Signature XO Sauce. These are limited to one serving each per guest. Of the lot, the Berkshire Pork "Char Siu" Buns was absolutely heavenly. Juicy and succulent meat in a delicious barbecue sauce lovingly wrapped by a fluffy sweet bun. But why only 1 serving?? :( I also liked the carrot cake which has nice chunks of radish and chinese sausage. This is best paired with the spicy XO sauce. Diners also get unlimited servings of the classic dim sum. The Wok-seared Spinach Dumplings may look really green on the outside but it's also packed with juicy minced pork inside. Delicious! The Deep-fried Pork Dumpling "Ham Shui Gok". It's really crispy on the outside but has a mochi-like texture inside and it is filled with juicy pork with mushrooms. When eaten all at once, it tastes like a Hakka Abacus Seed 算盘子. If dimsum alone doesn't fill you up, there are also 9 Hai Tien Lo Signatures to pick from which includes hearty dishes like Szechuan Spicy chicken, Grouper fish fillet and Cantonese Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs.. Each table is limited to one serving of any three items. The Homemade Bean Curd with Crab Meat and Eggplant in Supreme Stock comes highly recommended. Absolutely silky and fragrant tofu in a carrot, radish and chicken supreme stock. Slurps! If you like something fried (who doesn't), the Deep-fried Soft Shell Crab with Pepper Sauce is rather delightful. Just work it off later really. What is a Cantonese meal without soup right? Pick from either the Traditional Double-Boiled Soup or the Lobster with Shredded Abalone and Vegetables in Thick Broth (one serving of any one item per person). The little green puffs are made of vegetables. Now you can drink your greens too! For desserts, i went with the Double-boiled Osmanthus Tea with Pear and White Fungus which is light and refreshing. I liked that it's not too sweet. The Mango Sago with Pomelo was a hot favorite. This drinks like a mango smoothie and is surprisingly light as well. If there's more space in your dessert tummy, you could go with the Black Sesame Paste with Glutinous Rice Dumpling. So here you go, Hai Tien Lo's Weekday Dim Sum Buffet. It's perfect for business lunches and definitely for times when you simply just need to treat yourself.

The Dim Sum buffet brunch has A lot of selection to pick from. Service is really nice and friendly. The tea selection are awesome. Great place to get together and slow eat. Price are kinda high but if u slow eat and chic chat it could be worth the price. Price is from 48sgd to 68 sgd.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place for special occasions. Have organised many family birthdays as well as business meetings here. Food, ambiance and service here is 5-stars. Don't forget to try the dim sums.
