This is not just a kabob house, it’s also a specialty butcher with good quality meat. Their kabobs though, are very tasty, one of the best in SoCal. I always order luleh kabobs to go whenever I’m around and for family gatherings. I’d definitely recommend everyone to try it.

First time customers........ Now lifetime customers! The rib-eye steaks are a piece of art. Not only is it a grade A cut but the tenderness and flavorful marinade of their's is absolutely mouth watering! Customer service was friendly and helpful. Plus they are practicing safe covid guidelines.

I randomly went in here to see what was up and the older dude was nice and informative and even got a skewer and bowl of water and gave me a lula tutorial. 10/10 selection.

The kabobs are always perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with delicious, savory flavors. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Haigs Kabob House has truly set the bar high for what a great kabob place should be!

I found this place on yelp and saw it had positive reviews so I decided to give it a try. I purchased meat for my birthday dinner and I will definetly be coming back. Haig was very kind and offered to cook my chicken and pork. My family loved the food

Street parking only but there's usually spaces right in the front. We always go here to get prepared kebab & Lule meats. They also have good high quality meats like wagyu. They have affordable to more expensive pieces and they also offer sides to take home as well like hummus and garlic sauce. Their meats are always fresh and their service is always quick even if they are busy, they will bring extra workers from the back to help out. Small family owned place with very friendly service.

Stopped by for some raw meats to make khorovatz (kebab) at home. We picked up some shish or lule, chicken, filet, and lamb chops, about a pound each which totaled $50. It may seem a bit expensive but all the meat is marinated and cooks so beautifully. The lamb chops were a bit salty and the lule may be a bit much for those who are not used to it, but regardless, all the meats are packed with flavor. Everything was grilled to juicy, tender perfection and we will definitely be back.

This meat shop is my new favorite, so accommodating and the meat is GREAT. The popcorn pork is one on my top list.

Not as great as they used to be.! For the last couple of months, I noticed a big drop with a taste of their Wagyu meat.

I drive 25 min from Calabasas to buy their marinated bbq, always fresh and the best meat in town. Best service and the nicest family owned store around.Thank you for the great service! Everything is nicely organized and clean throughout the store.

If there were six stars to give, they would get the six. I drive 15 miles to get their marinated meats for the barbecue. One stop shopping for any barbecue needs. The owners are always there to help and are super friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough just love it.

I had high hopes for this place. When i went into the store, the employee was super friendly and helpful. It was when we got home that the disaster started. I got 3 pound of beef luleh along with a bunch of other things out of the 3 pound of beef luleh which should've made 12 skewers, we were left with ONE only because the meat was mixed with so much stuff and/or probably old that it kept falling off the skewer into the charcoal. My father in law and husband have been doing bbq for 20 years so it wasn't the way they were doing it because the chicken luleh held up fine. I had guests over and we were so disappointed. I had to run to another meat market nearby and get more meat from there cause all the beef luleh we bought from Haig's was ruined. My mom called the store and the owner said "don't tell me about my meat. I know the quality of my meat. It's you guys fault you guys probably put it somewhere warm." Basically he disregarded what my mom had to say and blamed it on us mind you she was very nice about it. Will not be back here.

The best butcher shop ever and your one stop shop to everything you need for bbq. Their pork, wagyu and chicken is so good. They also have a fridge full of sides, all amazing. Staff if very friendly and store is very clean.

Had to try Haigs tomahawk Wagyu Ribeye bought 3 pieces and 1 wagyu ribeye. They asked if they should marinate or will I and I had them do it. Amazing steaks cooked it on charcoal grill instead of gas or pan. The marination was perfect, juicy, and tender. Great quality steaks worth all the money I spend recommend for every to atleast try there wagyu steaks.

I always come here to order lula kabob to go. Even i drive from my Place @ Canoga Park.

My brother bought bbq meat from here Saturday night and it went straight into the trash after it was cooked. The meat was marinated with so much spices that it tasted nasty and had weird smell. It definitely wasn't fresh meat. All the guests literally had one piece and didn't want to touch another piece. We were going to take it back to show them how horrible taste was but they're closed on Sunday and Monday. When the owner was contacted and informed of our experience, there was no apology at all and did not try to compensate us. Just be careful when buying meat from here. Open the bag after they give it to you and make sure the meat doesn't smell.

Excellent kabob, melts in your mouth. But if I may suggest, please use less salt in your marinade. Great meat, good marinade, but please, less salt.

Thank you Nick I. for this awesome find! I was in search for some ribeye steaks for dinner; this mom and pop butcher shop did not disappoint. I didn't feel like dealing with the Friday crowd and traffic to get to my local Gelson's. So, I ended up here. The selection of marinated meats and non-marinated meats here is impressive - fresh and very clean. They have a very small market area that carries all sorts of Bbq supplies, condiments, seasoning, sauces, and ready made Armenian/Russian styles sides (hummus, eggplant salad, marinated red peppers, caviar etc). I am very picky when it comes to beef quality. Very. I love it here. Customer service is outstanding. The father and son duo here go all out to assist you and are very nice. I love friendly places. I'm a return customer for sure even though it is a little out of the area from me.

Disappointed 2 in a row. First time all the meat too salty! Second time pork didn't taste like pork! This place is not like it used to be.

I love this family owned business. They have prime cut meats of wagyu with marble scores up to 12. They have prime Japanese and Australian wagyu and tomahawk steaks. They also have Kobe beefs that will melt in your mouth. If you are going to have a bbq, this is the number one place to go to. They have pre marinated cuts of meats including marinated wagyu flaps, filet mignon and more. They also have pre marinated chicken wings and chicken breasts that are really tasty. My personal favorite is the Australian wagyu with a marble score of 7+. Once you have their meats, you just can't eat any other kinds of meats. As a reminder you pay for what you get, having premium cuts of meat from this place is a privilege. Thanks guys.

Absolutely disgusting! They sold us old bbq meat that they put so much spices on to it cover up. We usually shop from here and never had a issue, but this last time was horrible. My husband bought filet mignon and chicken thigh when we opened the bags to put it on skewers it had a smell. But it was dinner time and everyone was hungry so we went ahead and did the bbq. It tasted HORRIBLE! I had a couple of pieces and my guests tried to eat it to, but it tasted so bad they couldn't. I literally threw all of it away. I was so embarrassed in front of my guests. I got sick next day and so did a couple of my guests. I tried to call them Saturday night, but they were already closed. Went in the next Tuesday when opened told the owner how horrible the quality meat he sold us. All he did was argue with me.

This mom and pop meat shop has been my go to in the neighborhood for as long as i can remember! They have the best quality meat you can find! Always fresh! Always delicious! Try the wagyu beef! It is definitely a crowd pleaser at any bbq!

This place used to be one of my favorites. Good food and decent prices. Recently I was overcharged and the containers of pre made salads were half empty yet the price was even higher than before. Overall the quality of the meat is not great, and the customer service was poor! Not going back!

I had a chance to meet the owner and his son. The quality of people they are, is unmatched! They were Very helpful. I don't know much about meat but they really made me feel comfortable! I really love that! They've been at this location for about 24 years. Which means, they've been through it all!! The recession, the pandemic and now, INFLATION! But they still provide the best quality service and product in this area! The prices are phenomenal, for what your getting! I highly recomen this place to anyone looking to get quality meats for great prices!

This place is a hidden gem! the quality of meat and seasoning they put on everything is out of this world. The cuts of meat are excellent and the staff really knows their stuff. I live in the area and swing by often and they always have the some new top shelf stuff on hand. The popcorn pork is to die for. Wagyu flaps are incredible. Chicken is always amazing. They have all the sides and knick knacks you need to put on a proper home BBQ. Overall the meat quality, flavor, inventory and staffing is 10/10. Always look forward to going back for more. I highly recommend these guys.

We ordered kebob and salads, the salads were old and smelled distasteful. The kebob meat was sour tasting, dry, and was definitely old! This has been the case on multiple occasions. It's sad because this place was our go to for meat for so long and after multiple chances, they have lost our business. I understand that we are dealing with pandemic, but given the price that is being paid, there is a level of courtesy and respect that a customer expects in buying food, especially from a well-established facility.

Always a pleasure to visit. They recently remodeled and is nicer than ever! Went in for some of those fresh and juicy Harris Ribeye steaks. And in addition to our delicious meats we picked up a couple of sides sarma, olives and mushroom salads. Big Hit with family! I can't recommend this meat market enough!!!! Truly a gem here in the valley!!!!

I ordered kebabs to take out. The Chicken lule was very tasty and a winner! The beef Lule just ok. The shirazi salad was great: it had pieces of feta in it. Also I ordered their Ikra, and it was just perfectly done. I also took out a container of their chicken salad with corn and nut in it: super tasty. The portions of these containers to go are very big and only $10! They also have daily breakfasts for $8.99 to &9.99! Their food is fresh and reasonably priced! I'll go back for sure Also to try their bakery and their cakes for special occasions! They Look very elegant, pretty, and I overheard delicious!

The best meat store in the Valley hands down. I come here all the time to buy meat. They have the best Korean bbq and ranchero meat. The employees are the best and super friendly. The store is always clean. Face mask is required inside the store.

My gf came in because she was craving traditional Armenian kabobs and was so happy she found this place on yelp. It's a nice sized market with a good selection of quality meats and a large selection of marinated meats. She ordered the beef lula kabab, lamb chops, and hummus. They will cook the meats for you there as well (with a nominal price difference) and she got the lula cooked and it was delicious! Clean market with very friendly service. We cooked the lamb at home and it was SO good! Note they are closed on Sunday.

We have been buying from this meat market for the past few years, hands-down the best quality meats. They have great cuts of Wagyu.

First i want to start with Haig picking up the phone which he made sure he waited for me for extra 10 minutes after his closing time he kept the store open and when I got there he had a great smile on greeting me to the store asked me if I was the one calling in when I did walk in there was An amazing Armenian music playing with a great vibe in the store due to the circumstances (Covid19)this guy had everything you want if you live local for your next barbecue make sure you visit this guy he has everything that you need for a Armenian bbq Haig make sure you carry on that great smile best of luck to you brother

Absolutely amazing quality meat. We got the Waygu flap and waygu burger Patties and they were 10/10 delicious. Will be coming here again for all my meats. My family enjoyed as well. So good.

This is the Mecca of meat. If you want perfectly seasoned, delicious, impeccably cooked beef / chicken / pork / lamb you've found the spot. Call ahead and order by the pound, you will not regret it. We brought the Wagyu, pork ribs and Luleh to a party of Armenian friends and they went nuts over the quality - and Armenians know their meat!

It's kind of highly overrated, the pork belly (AKA ikibir) is so small it makes it really hard to cook unless you have wooden, or small metal skewers. Everything they serve practically taste the same and the best thing they have is the Wagyu Rib-Eye. If you like Wagyu, they have unseasoned A5 Wagyu with certs and this is probably the 2nd best offering after BBQ. I would recommended this place to a friend that doesn't want to break the bank eating A5 Wagyu at a restaurant. If you know what you're doing and how to cook it, you can get supply here. As far as a butcher shop, all the meat tastes the same (Marinade wise).

We always come here to buy meats always fresh but I suggest you pay with CASH. I got my debit card info stolen 2 days after using it here. I assure everyone that the meats and cuts are of great quality. I'm just very disappointed that this happen to me, and let me be straight with everybody and I have the transactions to prove it. I'm currently on state disability after being in a car accident and had just received my benefits on my EDD card. Funds are very tight right now and I have to go through this right now which is very disappointing. My suggestion to anybody coming to this place is use cash I wouldn't want anybody going through this.

Customer service is beyond great, make sure the young guy helps you out, he makes you feel like family. this was my 3rd Saturday in a row getting Ikibir, I drive from Tujunga to get this so you know it's gotta be good. We usually buy raw bbq meat from this place and have been satisfied. Yesterday we decided to try their full menu out for my husbands birthday , bbq, salads and sides. All our guest thoroughly enjoyed the food. The chicken, beef,and ribs were done well and very flavorful. However some of the guests did mention that the chicken lule and especially beef lule didn't taste right,they felt the meat might not have been fresh. Their salads were pretty tasty and their rice and steak cut fries were a hit. Most Armenian places just send plain white rice but theirs had other stuff and flavoring which made it different and tasty. We'd definitely order from them again.

Amazing selection of meat. They should impement or update their processes as its sometimes confusing when you make an order over the phone for a certain time and you get there on time only to wait another 20-30 minutes because, according to the old man behind the counter, its first come first serve and there are other people in the store. I tried suggesting perhaps a mobile order line for people who order over the phone but it didnt go well.. just a heads up if you order food on the phone you can end up waiting a good amount of time if the store is busy at your pickup time. This happened to me on several occasions even when i ordered days ahead... my guests were waiting because their store was busy helping people who just walked in...

If you love Armenian marinated meat then Haig is the best place in the valley! I've been to so many other Armenian and Russian meat markets and no one compares with Haig. The marinade here is delicious! Their ground beef, chicken kabob, ground chicken and lamb chops have always been amazing. Each time I throw a BBQ my guests are blown away by the taste of the meat. They also sell quality meat skewers for kabob and lula for a great price. $2.50 each! Can't go wrong there. Service is great and friendly. I've been helped by Haig himself and also his employees. Always received the same level of quality service. The prices here are at par with other meat markets. They sell other quick buy import items like cheeses, salads, sodas, breads etc. I drive from Chatsworth all the way to Haig because its absolutely worth it!
