HALAL CHICKEN-N-CHAPLI

A solid halal spot in Fresh Meadows with a huge menu and friendly staff. The star here is the Chapli—a flat, spiced meat patty popular in South Asian cuisine, known for its bold flavors and crispy edges. I tried all three Chapli snack options: Chicken Chapli – 8/10 Beef Chapli – 8.5/10 Fried Chicken Tender Chapli – 6/10 Great flavor profiles, nice kick, and tasty sauces. I asked to substitute grilled for fried chicken and was willing to pay extra, but staff couldn’t accommodate—it’d be great if the owner allowed simple swaps like that when reasonable. Still, a good overall experience, and being open late is a big plus.

The chicken is soft and juicy, which goes great with the Mac and fries. It has some chili spices on it so if you don't like spices, avoid it. In terms of spicy heat it's a 3/10, just enough flavor without heat. You'll get a combination of savory and sweet flavors from this dish.

Delicious halal food, generous serving sizes, nice clean seating. Loved the chicken sandwich and chappli kabob. Strongly recommend and would def come back when in the area!!

This is a decent spot. I got the beef chapli platter. The meat was very tender, well seasoned and tasted fresh off the grill. The fries are mediocre. The salad is fresh. And the rice was good as well. Only issue the rice to meat ratio is way off. Overall if you’re looking to fill your crave for chapli, this place will do it.

The food here is absolutely fantastic! Their chapli kabab is especially delicious — full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The yellow sauce they serve with it is amazing and really takes the taste to another level. Highly recommend!

Wonderfull experience from chk n Chaplli. Ahmed was the experienced guy who explained abt the food. Tried chk n beef chappli excellent taste.Kabab spice level is up to the mark,tender n juicy. Worth spending the money. Reasonable pricing. At last finish our food with amazing falloda.definitely comming back.

We came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon while running some errands and doing some shopping in the area and this did not disappoint. We ordered two chapli platters, one with chicken and one with beef... it came with the works - salad, rice, French fries and all the sauces. As hungry as we were, we still couldn't finish both platters and took some home for leftovers. There's plenty of tables and seating if you want to dine in as well. This is a no frills halal restaurant with good service - I would highly recommend coming to check them out and grab a quick bite to eat!

I came back from vacay and my family missed the Halal crave. New spot opened up and saw the menu with some unique ingredients. For takeout ordered the chicken chapli and fish platter. And for the kids- the Mac n chicken bowl and fruity pebbles shake- only Halal spot that had it. The platter was filling and hit the spot- more than enough for two. The chicken and fish were delicious with awesome white sauce and kicker sauce on the side for some heat. The kids loved the Mac n chicken- they said it was the bomb and one of the best bowls they had. They like that the Mac was cheesy and the chicken filled their stomach. The prices were reasonable except for the shake. For $7.50, I wanted more like a larger shake; however, the fruity pebbles shake was pretty good, could been a 5 star rating- I will come back as one of the top Halal spot in Queens!

The chicken Chapli kebabs were not good at all. The service was ok, it seemed like one person was working at two restaurants. The ambiance was not good. A whole bunch of guys not eating anything filling up the tables. Would not return nor recommend.

This incident occurred last week. Me and my girl walked in immediately the old guy with the beard at the register started giving us weird looks. We both felt so weirded out by this guy at the cashier and the entire time dining in he kept looking at us with a creepy look like he didn't want us there. i never felt so unwelcomed ever before in my life at a restaurant. I'm never coming back here again and the food was a solid 4/10 way too over cooked
