"A brewpub with full kitchen focused on contemporary beers using traditional techniques. Serving lagers, IPAs, and everything in between. Scratch kitchen providing Asian-inspired cuisine. Kid friendly and dogs allowed on the patio. Lively indoor space with room to sprawl and enjoy our offerings. Extensive outdoor patio space."
"Greenwood’s Halcyon quickly made a name for itself by collaborating with breweries across the city. Now, a few years in, they’ve solidified their status as an award-winning, family-friendly, mural-decked brewery with live music and a knack for classic beer styles. For first-timers, you can’t go wrong with their mainstay, Only Good Vibes Session IPA. Cold-conditioned to crisp perfection, this beer testifies that modern craft doesn’t have to be all about crazy flavors and high ABVs. And if you’re hungry, Halcyon’s Asian-fusion food menu (think kimchi hot dogs and furikake fries) pairs well with it all." - Brianna Gunter
"Halcyon’s hot dog showing is Asian-influenced across the board (a bánh mì dog here, an okonomiyaki dog there). And their Seattle dog is a work of frank-based art. Everything is pretty standard at first glance, with an exemplary sizzled all-beef situation clinging to a hoagie roll by swaths of cream cheese. But Halcyon’s tweak involves hoisin-spiked caramelized onions. The result is sticky-sweet umami that swirls with the dairy to create a totally new condiment that we’d like to dunk some Ruffles in immediately." - gabe guarente, aimee rizzo
"Forget the fact that Halcyon has one of the best patios on Greenwood’s main drag, a space that includes the whole gang—murals, picnic tables, and a pergola. (On second thought, don’t actually forget that.) This brewery also serves furikake-dusted hot dogs, dumplings, and a lineup of crisp IPAs. Stop by when the weather is nice, or for Wednesday chess nights." - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente
"Forget the fact that Halcyon has one of the best patios on Greenwood’s main drag, a space that includes the whole gang—murals, picnic tables, and a pergola. (On second thought, don’t actually forget that.) They also serve some of the best in-house brewery food in town. Expect excellent Seattle dogs, dumplings, furikake-dusted fries, impeccably tender popcorn chicken, and of course, a lineup of crisp IPAs. "It’s all-day happy hour at this brewery and public house that claims to have Greenwood’s biggest screen." - Eater Staff
