Only reason service and atmosphere is a 4, it's so so busy. Servers are nice, but the place gets so packed it takes a bit to get another drink. That said, drinks are good and does it get any better than that view?! I think honestly though, the food would bring me back. My friend talked me into Mac n cheese balls, and holy cow!!! They might be some of the best I've had!

This is a really nice spot to just sit back, relax and enjoy mountain views. My husband and I came here on a Friday night and it wasn’t too busy at all. They had lovely live music, fire pits and the vibes were immaculate! I only ordered one drink - the Tequila Mockingbird and to be honest it was waaaaayyy too sweet. Like 90 % syrup <5% tequila. Next time I’ll be ordering a wine!

Stars – Consistently Outstanding Service! I go to a lot of bars and restaurants, but this rooftop bar has truly set the bar (no pun intended) when it comes to service. As a regular, I can honestly say they make you feel genuinely welcome every single time you walk in. The staff remembers your name, your usual order, and always greet you with a smile. Ethan, Madison, and Jordan R have made this place like a second home. It’s rare to find a place where the service is consistently beyond excellent. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick drink or staying for the night, the experience is always smooth, attentive, and friendly. You can tell they take pride in creating an atmosphere that keeps people coming back. If you’re looking for a spot where you’re not just another customer, but truly treated like a guest, this is it. Highly recommend.

Took my parents here while they are in town! We loved it. DJ was setting the vibes up right! All the seating was awesome. Views were spectacular! Cocktails were great. Loved the patio fire pit too. Spent about 2 hours here and enjoyed every moment! Saw a lightning show, rainbow and fireworks show all in one visit! Will definitely come in again.

Loved my experience at Halo Rooftop Bar! The cocktails were delicious and so smooth — you can really taste the quality. The view is stunning and creates such a romantic atmosphere. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommend!

Beautiful rooftop cocktail patio with fun decor, friendly service, lots of lounge and bar seating, creative cocktails, fun bites, and even a happy hour! A great after-works drinks spot addition to the area and such a cool spot to watch the sunset. Get there early or make reservations in advance, because it fills up!

These guys are amazing. Best bar I’ve been to. Gigi is so personable. She really focuses on the customer. Jordan is so professional. He was able to find rare finds..a true treasure. Sarah can’t be replicated..best customer service I’ve experienced.

Full and very lively, even on a Sunday night. Great drink selections though no beer draft for craft brew. Food was good and the views are great!

Insane views! This place is everything DTC needed. Light bites and burgers make the perfect combo with one of their signature cocktails. I even loved their zero proof cocktails. Service was attentive and presence was great. First come first serve on the patio but easy to get a table on a Monday night. Reservations for big parties recommend calling after 4pm when they open. I will definitely come back again.

Everything needs to improve! Got seated and no water, no server after sitting for 15 minutes. Went and asked for service and still nothing 10 minutes later. We got up and left. Sad situation. Was really forward to it. Customer service is the lifeblood of any business. That's why you exist. Hope they get it fixed!

It was good views for a rooftop bar. Because it's a small rooftop, there was very limited seating. There was both a retirement party and a pre-wedding reception so 70% of the space felt blocked off. The only available seating was outside with very few chairs. Sarah was our bartender who was so amazing. She really checked in with us and took care of us. We had a nice time. We shared the fries which were not bad with the mozzarella cheese on top. I wish there was more flavor to the plate, but it was nice to munch. Highly recommend you to make reservations otherwise be prepared to stand for long periods.

Beautiful view and food was good, but they charged my credit card incorrectly and I've been asking for almost a month to have it corrected. If you visit this restaurant, make sure you check the charge quickly and that it is correct. Due to having to make so many calls and hours of time to get this corrected to no avail, I will never visit this restaurant again. The work to get it fixed is just not worth it.

Great ambiance and atmosphere! The patio is busy during happy hour and hard to get a seat, but looks like you can reserve a table! The appetizers and drink menu were great! Look forward to going back

Halo does NOT offer happy hour. Don't let the earlier reviews and pictures of happy hour menus fool you! Our waiter informed us they stopped offering a happy hour menu 7 months ago! We were hoping to get a deal, but at $16 a drink at 5pm on a Wednesday, no thanks! My burger and fries were average. My friend enjoyed her shrimp cocktail. But this place is very overpriced in my opinion. I guess you're just paying for the views.

Lovely rooftop bar. My salad was pretty good. And my bartenders Ethan & Madison were awesome. Patio was fun.

Came for the drinks and stayed for the view! Gorgeous mountain backdrop and a great rooftop ambiance. Drinks were solid, but the crowd and service had a bit of a snooty vibe--which tracks for a Kimpton. Worth a visit for the views alone, but get there early if you want a good spot.

This new rooftop lounge is the tallest in Denver... Halo Rooftop Bar is the new hotspot in town and it's safe to say, we will be regulars here. This vibrant open-air lounge offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, craft cocktails, & gourmet bites. We arrived and were seated in the lounge area by the bar - the space was absolutely gorgeous. Halo staff were exceptional - polished & attentive. Manager & Master Mixologist, Evran had the best recommendations and whipped us up some gorgeous cocktails. Evran & Lauren ensured we had everything we needed while we dined. We started with cocktails. The Tequila Mockingbird was made with espolon blanco tequila, marigold, hibiscus, lime, & soda (to spice it up, it was made with ghost pepper tequila). The ghost pepper brought heat and complexity to this cocktail, and I loved it. The marigold & hibiscus added subtle floral sweetness (also the gorgeous pink color) while the lime & soda added brightness. The Sourpucker Spritz was made with midori, yuzu, umeboshi, pomegranate, prosecco, & soda water. The Sourpucker Spritz was refreshing with a nice balance of tart & sweet. The Jackfruit No-Hito was a zero-proof option made with seedlip, spiced umeboshi, jackfruit, mint, & soda. This non-alcoholic cocktail had a botanical base with notes of spice and citrus. The Brisket Griddle Burger was made with a double patty, lettuce, sweet onion, avocado, & cheese. It was served alongside sage fries and aioli. The double patties were blanketed in melty cheese & the meat had a rich, beefy flavor with a hint of smokiness. The Dungeness Crab Fried Rice was made with cucumber, avocado, mizuna, & cured yolk. The crab fried rice was savory & umami-rich in taste. The Little Gems Wedge Salad was made with double smoked bacon, cherry tomatoes, radish, pickled onion, & wasabi blue cheese dressing. The lettuce was cool and covered in creamy, tangy wasabi blue cheese dressing. The cherry tomatoes added a bright, juicy texture while the bacon brought the crisp bites.

We attended their New Year's Even event and it was amazing: probably the best NYE I've ever had. I tried their burger and it was great (I skipped the cheese this time and thought was still awesome). We had a ton of their drinks and they were all very interesting, but the best one was the alcoholic hot chocolate. Inside they had live music/DJ and the environment was great. Outside was even better between all the seating, the fire pits, the champagne toast, and the private drone show. The staff and everyone we met were friendly and answered all of our questions. They even had a few photographers going around that took a bunch of our photos (though I only saw photos from one of them). I highly recommend their NYE event. The only thing that was strange was they had this outdoor room (like a mini greenhouse, but for eating in) that was inaccessible and I heard someone say they were showing it off to rent for private events, but they should have just opened it up to everyone or had people take photos in there or something to advertise it better. The hotel has valet parking, but we parked in the garage immediately across the street for a like $6.

Such a fun, bustling, vibrant bar with great outdoor seating areas and beautiful views. We were there for happy hour and their menu has lots of variety. Our server, Madison, made some suggestions and was helpful. There were a couple of issues with our food - like not getting our salad until after our other food and not getting the aioli for the French fries. But that didn't stop us from enjoying the food, great drinks, and ambiance. The chicken skewers were a little too salty but the pickled green papaya that came with it was delicious. This is a fun place that I look forward to coming back to.

Great ambience and great views! Sometimes takes awhile to get drinks and they give you tiny water glasses that have to be filled often. Burgers are good! Definitely nice to have a rooftop on this side of town!

Yes! Finally a proper spot for rooftop cocktails in the south Denver area. Just come here. The food is great, cocktails great, service great, and the view is gorgeous. We had the geisha martini and chicken wings, and all soo yummy! The geisha martini is not sweet, it is perfectly balanced.

AMAZING views. Newly opened but I'm sure it'll be no time before this place blows up in popularity. Unobstructed views of the mountains and also cherry creek reservoir. Great spot for after work drinks, date night, or pre gaming before a concert at fiddlers green. Only had drinks but have heard they also serve food.

The service on the rooftop bar was very poor. The manager was condescending and pretentious. She seemed like she was taking out her miserable life on us. (We saw a review below about her and can confirm The photo they attached is her). The bus boy took multiple drinks that were unfinished off the table without asking. The hostess was terrible & unfriendly. This place needs a whole new staff. Please fire this manager asap.

Came in really excited to check out this beautiful cocktail bar our friends have been raving about and even braved the cold because it was the only night my husband and I could get out of the house. When we got upstairs we were incredibly disappointed to see that they had decided to put on a massive tv for a college football game in what was otherwise a gorgeous cocktail bar. Luckily our bartender Lowell was able to salvage the evening for us and kept our spirits up. The Halo Rooftop Bar is an awesome place for Happy Hour. The spacious bright interior is only half the picture. It has a wonderful outdoor deck which has views of the mountains and south Denver. Drinks are fun and reasonably priced. I came with a group of 3 lovely ladies. We shared the sliders, fries, salad and chicken skewers. Definitely a place to go back to.

After being seated it was 20/25 minutes before we were acknowledged. After receiving food the wings had NO flavor, the rice was overly salty. Drinks were ok, took awhile to receive drinks when ordered.

Zero stars! First time in, excited to try it out! Reservation for 7pm. Sat + waited 15 mins without so much as being greeted at our table. Hubby went to find a server. Another 10 mins, still no one came to greet us. We walked. AWFUL, awful service! We won't be back + I'll be telling everyone ab our experience.

Halo rooftop bar is such a great addition to the neighborhood! I've lived around here for over 10 years and have felt like a fun cocktail bar had been desperately missing and therefore was extremely excited for the arrival of halo, which just opened about 2 weeks ago and it's open past 9pm (which is rare for this area). I went for dinner and drinks last week and immediately was pleasantly surprised by the staff who were extremely accommodating to our request to sit outside. I highly recommend the balcony as it has a lovely atmosphere that feels super modern and presents a wonderful view of South Denver. Our waitress was very engaging and helped us complete our order with recommendations. The menu is designed as a tapas/sharable item environment with specific Asian flare to the cocktails and bar foods. The drinks were solid however not the best that I've had considering the geisha martini had a bit of a strange aftertaste (and I wouldn't order it again). The wedge salad was delicious and the perfect shareable size. We also split the burger, pork belly, wings and crab rice. While the crab rice was solid, it was nothing to rave about and the wings had a yummy sauce and neat presentation, but felt a bit too fried. The only dish we really didn't enjoy was the pork belly as it was extremely chewy and not tender while also being a bit too salty. I think we just got a bad piece of meat because our waitress said it was quite a rarity for people to complain about it. The price point is a bit high for Denver, but is worth the view in my opinion. Because Halo is so new, I'm sure over time the establishment can iron out a few of the wrinkles in the food while specializing in certain dishes / adding more to the menu (they didn't have desserts either). I am overjoyed about the arrival of halo and I'm sure to be back soon but maybe just for drinks and a snack for the meantime.

Not only is the manager awful, they over charged my card after I left and I had to dispute it with my bank.

Amazing views you just have to make sure it's not too windy of a day or too hot-if you would like to sit outside! Services amazing, food is good-recommend the wedge! Loads of options when it comes to seating! And a lovely happy hour!

Place wasn't even busy but the absolute worst service ever . The bar tenders are extremely slow and not attentive at all. And the wait staff are even worse

The service was outstanding Paige our server was a true professional never had to wait for our cocktails are ice never melted so friendly and had a beautiful smile. I recommend her to be your number one choice.

I went to Halo rooftop bar. I was lucky enough to have as my was outstanding. The ice my drink never melted very well. Taken care of along with my I suggest asking for next time you visit.

My wife and I had a nice date night/happy hour at halo and was pleased with the overall experience. The outside area was a little hot in the sun, but we found seating inside with the ac. The happy hour menu was nice with plenty of options and very reasonably priced for an upscale hotel, rooftop lounge/bar. The food was so-so, but they had just opened, and were willing to go back and try more options. Also, they ran out of Salv Blac (my wife's favorite) and the IPA early on a Friday evening, but again, I'm sure they'll work out those kinks. Happy to have more options like this in the area.

What a great new place! First, the ambience was top-notch. Wonderful views! (Umbrellas would mar the views, but it does get hot.) Second, the service was wonderful. From the hostess to the guy who was clearing dishes. He was pretty funny actually. Finally, the food was very good. I have to say, however, that the crab fried rice was way too salty. The happy hour menu was reasonable. The regular menu was a little high. The fried rice was $23 and very small. However, it was only a small splurge. We will definitely be back!

The wall mounted faucets at the bathroom vanities are installed upside down/incorrectly and they hit the countertop when using but that's not why I left a 3 star review. Very limited happy hour food options, none that are actually large enough to share as a table... all of it is overpriced. The 3 stars are for the general ambiance.
