Used points for a stay at this hotel for one night for the first time while in dc for a weekend getaway. Overall, had a great experience. It is very conveniently located in dc and is a very short walk to the White House and City Center in addition to many restaurants, parks and cafes. The elevators worked fast and we got a quiet room on the tenth floor. Comfortable bed and room was clean. The only minor complaint would be there was a loud bang type of noise whenever the ac turned off or on which didn’t bother us too much. In full transparency, I paid $221.70 with points on a Saturday night in July 2024. Overall, would recommend and thought the location was safe and accessible to many destinations walking distance. We would come back and stay again!

After staying 5 nights, my overall experience at the Hamilton is about 3.5 stars. The hotel has a great location allowing guest to access Metros and Buses to arrive from the airport and reach Capital Mall. The restaurant offers many good food options. The lobby has a grand feel. The room is clean, tidy and offers a view to the Washington Monument (if you are on the 12th floor). I enjoyed the firm, brand new mattress feeling. Jeffery mitigate the unexpected AC down issue well after the AC service was interrupted during the heat weave. A better communication with guests when the interruption occurred would be a better option. The first night ice maker on every odd floor failed to work. I got ice from the lobby restaurant. The second night the AC stopped in the middle of night in 100F weather. Though the maintenance started working on the issue, there was a clear opportunity on communication and the process to restart the AC in the guest room. I found out the problem the hard way that the AC is not working because of my room was hot. There was no communication on restarting ac in the guest room. I shutoff the my guest room AC, kept the door open to let the cool air come in. After a while, I turned the AC back on. My process works ! The AC would not reset itself and the room would have remained hot. I am here for 3 more nights and will update my review.

The Hamilton Hotel is outstanding! Sarah and Jordan at the front desk were so friendly and accommodating! Talia waited on us in their restaurant, and was also excellent! The food was great! The rooms, beds, and bedding were 1st class. We loved the views, and appreciated how everybody goes out of their way for you! Highly recommend!

During our stay, there was an HVAC issue, which is not uncommon in hot 100-degree weather. I want to acknowledge the exceptional handling of this issue by your staff. Every staff member we encountered during our stay was incredibly polite and accommodating, even while dealing with a mechanical problem. Your staff's exceptional service makes your hotel the best place to stay while visiting DC.

Stayed here on business for a few nights. The hotel is very conveniently located. The room I stayed in was a good size and had a desk, fridge, safe, iron and other items you would expect at a four star hotel. There wasn't a lot of noise from the street, but I was on one of the upper floors. On a less positive front, there was a feeling from those in our party that the service could have been better. On check out, I was informed that I had used the mini bar, which I hadn't. But then it seems all in our party we're told this. Not a great way of trying to catch people out who might not be honest. Left a rather sour taste for such an expensive hotel. Not that I can imagine anyone using it for the prices bring charged. Plus the restaurant was catering for a corporate event and was closed to anyone not in that party for breakfast. Lots of other places nearby, but not what you'd expect. Aside from that the rest of the experience was positive.

Hosted my cousins 25th birthday here and it was amazing!! The rooms are small but they are very nice and the location is great. We dined at the restaurant in the hotel and when I tell you it was sooo amazing it really was. The food was great but the service was immaculate. We had a young black women service us who not only gave great customer service but also entertainment. She was funny and helped take photos 10/10. Thank you Hamilton hotel DC

Very bad. The incompetence of some of the employees is very high, there were 4 of us and she only gave us one bed, when we went down to ask for a room change she said she didn't care, so we called the travel agency that took us here and to where we booked a room for 4, but the employee said that she didn't take orders from the agencies but only from her boss, in the end her boss comes and solves everything (he is one of the best staff members in the hotel). The breakfast was very vague, it is one of those hotels where there is no buffet at breakfast, I think all hotels can offer a buffet but I understand the choice to save money.
