Hamilton Inn

I love a good cheap motel. Great place to rest on the road. Woke the owner up at 1am for a room and got back on the road next day. Great people.

Location is great if by chance you are in Hamilton Texas, not the sort of destination you plan a vacation around but the beds and room were clean. We had a good quiet sleep right off the highway. The hosts were warm, helpful and friendly.

Amazing place to stay if your in Hamilton!

Positive: Location. Easy check in. Clean. Bed was comfortable. Negative: No privacy latch on the door.

Clean, comfortable, and great bed and TV. Just what I needed for me and company mates. We stayed here multiple times and we can tell the owners have made nice upgrades. Glad we came back here. We always will.

The room was clean and was inexpensive. There were decent selections to watch on TV (Discovery channel for us). The only two problems we had were a rather uncomfortable bed and the surface in the bathroom was slippery

Owners were kind of rude. Shower is lukewarm at best. My car had broken and I was waiting for someone to bring a part for me, the owners made me pay an extra night because I was there until 1 p.m. and check-out was 11. I tried to explain I was stuck and they basically told me to just sit and wait in my car or pay

This place was terrible. There were bugs all over the room and the bathroom. I was in the middle of taking a shower and all you could see was the shadow of a bug crawling up the curtains on the other side. I looked outside the shower and there was another one running across the floor. When I got out of the shower I grabbed the towel and there was other peoples hairs stuck on the towels. Overall this place was terrible and disgusting. I will not be staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay here when visiting Hamilton for a family reunion. It took me back to a simpler time. You book a room over the phone and sign in quickly on paper when you arrive. Simple and straightforward. The owners were extremely friendly and everything was clean and we had everything we needed. It can be hard to find their contact info sometimes because autofill kept thinking I wanted to look for Hampton Inn. No fault of the owners but it can get confusing. We will probably stay here again next time.

Super nice little Motel. Good people that run it. Awsome price and very nice clean place to stay. Super Clean. Will stay here anytime I'm in Hamilton Texas Tried staying at the higher price Hotel in Hamilton but for the money Hamilton Inn is way better. Can't beat this little Motel don't pass it up. Just stop and you will be glad you did.

I have never written a bad review but I do read reviews and base my decision on. I wish I had read the reviews on this hotel before booking. Staff was friendly, room was clean and the air conditioner was cold . I stayed Friday night and planned to check out Sunday. About 10:30 Saturday night I found a bug in my bed. I thought I had let a random bug in when I had the door opened bring things from my car. Then I decided to check the bed. I pulled back the sheets and lifted the pillow. I found 3 more bugs. That's when I realized it was bed bugs. I packed my stuff and went down the road to another hotel, It was about 11:45 pm when I left. Long story short, I asked for a refund on the night that I didn't stay there. The lady was hesitant and argumentive. I did get a refund on the one night but it wont cover my trip to the doctor and the steroids and the exterminator . Had to wash all my bedding in hot water . I wish I could attach a picture of my welts .. If you saw it you would not take the risk of staying here. If you scroll down and read another review you can see that they have had this issue since 2015.

Loved this adorable, affordable motel! The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was super clean with lots of amenities, including a microwave and fridge. I would definitely stay there again if my travels take me that way.
