This was one of the coolest places we've been to in a while! They had vegan cheese which was a major plus! The pizza was AMAZING! Wood fired and delicious! My husband had a calzone which he said was one of the best he's had in ages. They let our dog on the patio as well, which was nice. The waiter (I'm forgot his name unfortunately 😭) but he was awesome. Very personable and Recommended great beers to go with pizza. I recommend Hampton Station to anyone looking for great pizza and just a cool vibe. Will be back! I was too excited to eat to take pictures of the food. Sorry!

I usually stop by this place after work once in awhile and get a pizza to go, and have a beer while I wait. The food was always good. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case this time. For one, the pizza is overpriced for what you get. They are very skimpy on the toppings, including the extra toppings (which of course, cost extra). So, unfortunately, I won't be eating here anymore. As for the positives, the bartender was very courteous. I bought a pizza, 4-back of beer, and a record album. I was going to make two trips taking the items to my car, but he helped me, which I appreciated! I also found a cool record album for only $6. So, while I think this is a good place to go have a beer, browse records and chill with friends (and on weekends, they have DJs), I wouldn't go here for the food. It's a shame, as it is a cute place, and the food used to be pretty good.

Love this spot! Not just a pizza place but a space for communities to come together and have a good time with one another! Thank you for the dope music, amazing selection of beer and pizzas that are out of this world! Would come back again soon!

If you've been to Lee's grocery, this pizza will make you happy! The bar service is outstanding! Don't know about table service since I ate at the bar. I had a veggie. Outstanding! Crispy thin crust and just enuf toppings😋

Google
I’m so happy I found this spot, it’s so cool. We came for the records, we stayed for the pizza and the beer. It’s a great local spot, the records for sale were really good though a relatively small selection but the perfect amount. The pizza was very good, as well as the salad. Solid beer list, not disappointed. The staff was very nice as well. I caught the vibe that there’s a good regular customer base here, or at least it had that feeling.

Google
Pizza Beer and Vinyl. Former service station come hip hangout with a friendly staff, good pies and various drink options including Delta9 Hemp Bevs. A destination for adults only so leave the littles at home and enjoy what’s going on here. Special thanks for Tim and Lindsay behind the bar.

We were in Tampa from out of town. Our British friend wanted some American pizza. I didn't want us to just go to some chain pizza place that he could get back home (except they probably put marmalade on their pizza, or something), so I found this place. I like NY Pizza, I like beer, and I like records, so sounded great. And let me tell you, it was!! We got some pizzas and calzones, and all were excellent! There was great music playing and some sports on the TVs. They also had an excellent assortment of beers that we all enjoyed. Our server, Brett, was really friendly and helpful, answering our questions and giving us recommendations on beers. There was a large selection of records for sale. I saw several that brought back old memories, and I probably would have bought if I wouldn't have had to figure out a way to pack them for the flight home. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place for pizza and beer!

Google
Go here and receive some culture from Tampa, people. The pizza is amazing, and prices are great. I can’t believe I live 8 min from here. Servers are great, they play a movie right above the bar, it’s awesome. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
It's very rare to find a place like this in Tampa. This place feels hip in a way that's authentic and not try-hard. This place feels like a local classic that's open to outsiders. The beer selection is good, if puzzling: german lagers, midwest classics, and Florida craft. The pizza is NY-ish style. I love pizza in this spirit, but it can be hard to find up here in AK, so I really appreciated how they made their pies. Bar service was friendly and fun, as was the DJ spinnin' records.

Yelp
Great pizza! Quick service and at a cool spot. We have gotten the supreme pizza now twice and it's never failed us! We like to bring it home and load on some hot honey sauce Caesar salad was okay we haven't gotten it since our first time. Take out might not be the move for salads so we'd try again maybe if eating there!

Yelp
Cool place located in Seminole heights. They converted an old gas station into a beer bar that serves yummy pizzas, salads and calzones as well. They have good beer choices, many local favorites such as Five branches. Seems to be a locals place but it was very good and a good experience. They have a bar and several tables inside and an outdoor patio area.

Yelp
I don't want to tell everyone how wonderful this place is, but apparently folks are finding out. I live in the neighborhood and walk there to eat and drink, as it's a locals place. But it goes beyond CHEERS (tv show) and the kitchen staff are integral to the delicious pizza and calzones (with ricotta), breadsticks, and fresh and large salads (side salads are huge). We usually get a small cheese pizza "well done" and it's crispy and delicious. The guys working the kitchen are artists-- and friendly (wave from your seats at the bar). Marcos and Troy (owner) are super cool. Last, but not least, check out the records you

Yelp
Defiantly the best Pizza in the SemHeights area. It's a thinner (but not too thin) crust NY style Pizza. Nice crisp, excellent toppings. There is a lot...lot of pizza places in Tampa and most of the are pretty terrible, this is one of the good ones. Good beer selection, local craft brewery stuff, not the largest selection but they got all the bases covered. Indoor Outdoor seating. Yes it is a converted gas station, but is done surprisingly well. Has to be the only time I ever seen a gas station converted successfully. All in all great place, it's defiantly my go to for local pizza.
google avatar

Yelp
Indoor and outdoor seating. Great selection of brews and the pizza is delicious! Screens always have retro films or series to watch and sports as well. Once in a while there's a disco party with a DJ ! Over all it is a nice place to hang out meeting friends and chillin' If you like sour beer they've got a delicious one by Sun Lab brewed with orange, mango, lemongrass, coriander and sea salt! I come here just for that!!!

Yelp
If you're looking for great pizza, great service this is the place! Many fun beer options as well as plenty of pizzas. They even offer vegan cheese! I had a margarita pizza and let me tell you they did not skimp out on the basil. It was so great. The waiter was very attentive and fun. I will be back!

Yelp
We drive from Odessa for their pizza. Good food, good service, and good times. Been going for years and will keep going.

Yelp
Even during Covid-19 this place is still rocking! They are complying with social distancing and face mask guidelines. Awesome beer selection, as always! I strayed a bit and tried a canned mojito which was actually pretty good. Their pepperoni pizza is on point and crispy every time. I love their use of cornmeal on their crust. Hubby and I shared a meat calzone and it was just as good if not better than their pizza. The marinara sauce is sweet and pairs well with the calzone. As always, fast and friendly service.

Yelp
I love Hampton Station! A gas station converted into a pizza joint? Yes please! The pizza is great, the service is awesome, the craft beer selection is impressive. Got there Friday night around 7:00. Parked in the front. Snagged seats at the bar. The inside is small and cozy, with a bar and a few tables. Cool alternative decor (records, old movie posters). Several TVs up behind the bar. Good music playing. Love that they had several Oktoberfest beers on tap. Got a supreme pizza and it was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Good prices. More space and seating outside on front patio.

Patrick T.

Yelp
Best pizza in Seminole heights. Excellent beer selection and atmosphere. We always get the pepperoni pizza and Greek salad. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Excellent pizza , been trying a bunch of spots around Seminole heights and this is deserves the 5 star mark. Good personal sizes and the sauce/cheese are fantastic for FL. Employees are chill , very fun vibe

Yelp
Most outstanding but no DJ on Sunday. Owner was at downtown party. Regardless the pizza and salad were just exceptional. Same waiter who always seems to be there. He must work 70 hrs/week and has a great attitude

Yelp
Cool little place.. has a dove/ punk bar feel. Only a few local beers on tap compared to The Mermaid ( RIP)

Yelp
My absolute favorite pizza in Tampa! I moved up here last year from South Florida, which has a TON of NY style pizzerias -- after all, half the population there consists of former New Yorkers. My old house had THREE excellent pizza joints in a mile radius. So when I moved up to Tampa, I was pretty consistently let down with the pizza in the area. I'd tried a bunch of different ones (including the one you're definitely thinking of in downtown), but was disappointed with all of them. Now that I've moved to Seminole Heights, I figured I should try some of the places nearby... and was so pleasantly surprised by Hampton Station! Their pizza reminds me of home... thin (but not too thin) crust, good sauce and cheese, not greasy... what more could you want? I've since tried a few other places in the area, which are all OK but I inevitably compare them to Hampton and they don't measure up. Their prices are reasonable, their pizza's great... I'm a fan for sure.
google avatar

Yelp
I really don't understand the hype. THIS is the Caprese salad...or their interpretation of one??? Several too many handfuls of spinach, one and half slices of an old tomato and a few half slices of mozzarella. Seriously?
google avatar

Lindsay H.

Yelp
Hampton Station is one of the few places in the heights that we hadn't tried yet. We planned on ordering from here to see what it was all about, but honestly after reading some of the negative reviews I almost changed my mind. Well I'm SO glad I didn't because I was super impressed by them! I placed our order on the phone of a veggie pizza with pepperoni added and hot wings. I showed up a little before the time they told me (30 minutes) but it was perfect timing because they were just boxing up the pizza. Let me just tell you... the food was SUPER fresh. The wings were cooked perfectly crispy but still tender, and the buffalo sauce was on point. The pizza was great as well and the crust wasn't too thick or too thin. Extremely tasty, great quality, and the service was very friendly. The packaging was cute and personalized too which I always appreciate :). I'm so glad they lived up to the standard I was hoping for. We will be back!

Yelp
As we're in the middle of the COVID19 pandemic, it's officially Tampa Bay Pizza Week, and, most importantly, I needed something for dinner that paired well with my Stella Artois, I thought I would give Hampton Station Pizzeria a try. Their pizza special is a 16" Cheese pizza, take out only. Good. I can add whatever toppings I like at home. I called in my order, asked how long the wait would be and was told 45-50 minutes. No problem, as I set the timer so I would show up EXACTLY 45 minutes from order placed. Located right next door to Publix, it's a small quaint location, with just a few parking spots. I pay for the pizza and out the door I go. No diners are present at this time due to everyone taking health precautions. I'm only 11 minutes away and can't wait to enjoy my pizza n brew. But wait---the pizza is cold! HOW did it get cold so fast? Not only cold, but it looked like what you would get at a convenience store. At this point i was very hungry and it was too late to cook something i would've enjoyed. Thank goodness I had my brew to wash it down. I should have paid closer attention to a previous Yelp review that this was not even on his top ten list (for pizza). For me, it's on my Bottom Ten list of pizza. Not tasty. Not recommending. Won't be going back.

Yelp
Great place for pizza and brews. You can eat indoors or outside in the patio. Both have TVs

Yelp
Great pizza has a great atmosphere. It is a fun, colorful pizza and craft beer restaurant, and that pizza is great! The white pizza is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Hampton also has a large selections of beers on tap, and the salads are excellent.

Yelp
Nice local spot. Friendly servers. We picked up a pizza to take back to our rental. They were setting up for live music. Fun vibe.

Yelp
Great gem on Nebraska. We drive from Riverview just for the great pizza, incredible beer selection, and the chill "no kids allowed" vibe. Now that Covid is subsiding, Hampton Station is back to running at 100%. Stop in for a great rotating selection of craft beers, as well as solid food from the kitchen. We usually grab a 1/2 cheese, and 1/2 pepperoni pie as our go-to, and the pepperoni is worth the trip alone. Something about the small, little meaty gems that bring out the rest of the flavor. We also love their wings, with a few flavor choices like lemon-pepper and buffalo, with a few levels of heat. Service here is very attentive, even during evenings where any of the local pro teams are playing, and the bar is full. You'll find seating at the bar, at tables inside, or out on the patio. Some weekend nights you'll even catch a live DJ. Check it out!

Brad A.

Yelp
Great pizza, cold beer and just a cool place. Service was great. Pizza is thin and delicious.

Yelp
Ive only gotten pizza from here to go and its always been pretty good. It's almost to verge of being great but its always just missing something (salt, garlic, I don't know!!). Also, its pricey compared to a normal pizza shop. We ordered a large veggie pizza half sausage (with extra banana peppers), cheese bread and it came out to $33. They also don't allow you to sub toppings. If you remove them you have to pay for the topping you would've subbed. I come here every few months, but i think its worth a try. It's one of the better pizza restaurants in the area
google avatar

Yelp
Pizza is great! I love the environment, although I got my pizza to go! Lots of great beer on tap!

Yelp
We're from out of town and always look for a more local place to eat. Hampton Station had good reviews so thought we'd give it a shot for some pizza. Had read somewhere that kids weren't allowed but when we called for more info, we were told it wouldn't be a problem to bring our 13 year old. The restaurant/bar appears to be in an old gas station with patio and indoor seating. Two tables were filled outside and I was hearing quite a bit of language from both before I'd really even gotten all the way out of the car. We decided to check inside and initially found it better but then the language picked up there as well. We moved to a table outside away from the others and it was ok so we placed an order. The menu is somewhat limited... Pizza, calzones, and wings. If you don't want alcohol, you're limited to cans of Coke, Diet Coke, or Sprite... No teas. Bartender/waitress was very friendly but admitted to having an off day. Our pizza came out wrong and she apologized and put in another order for the part of the pizza we were missing. In the meantime, we waited another 10-15 minutes for the correction and heard even more colorful language playing through the speakers. We were very thankful our daughter was engrossed in her phone and had earbuds in or we would have left before the rest of the order was finished. Gave 2 stars for friendly waitress and good pizza. However, it's not a place I would go back to due to environment and limited menu and drink options.

Arlene L.

Yelp
We came here the other day because we were craving beer and pizza, so this was perfect. The tables were well-spaced out, so we felt comfortable enjoying ourselves without any patrons too close. All the employees wore masks, so I appreciated that. We ordered a 16" veggie pizza and added pepperoni ($20). It was very tasty and fresh, and I was satisfied. I also ordered a pint of Mast Landing Brewing's Gunner's Daughter Milk Stout, which was actually a perfect dessert. This experience was quite satisfactory. I was pleased with the service, pleased with their selection of pizza and wings and beer, and pleased that they were taking necessary COVID-19 precautions. I hope Hampton Station is around for a long time!

Yelp
This bar is at old Seminole Height. Very interesting place. It is our second stop tonight for chicken wing which I have read about in yelp. I am surprised that they close at 10 pm at Friday night. Their business hours is short. This bar is almost like gas station converted. The outside has high roof open air seating for large group. The inside is more like small table big enough for 4 people a group. We have order the Parmesan wing and a Weihenstephaner Pilsner - a German brew. They also have other import draft beer from England and Ireland. Good selection for the beer. The beer is great. The chicken wing is fried and top with some sauce with Parmesan. Is tasty. Overall experience is good. Pricing is affordable.

Yelp
SO, sooo good! I feel like this place is a hidden gem, for anyone outside of the heights. We did take out during quarantine and the customer service was wonderful, efficient and friendly. My boyfriend ordered the calzone and he said it's his "new local favorite spot". The wings we got were VERY tasty and they are nice and thick (not some wussy wings). We got the lemon pepper and the sweet thai chili. 10/10 would recommend! We will be returning customers.

T R.

Yelp
Used to be a favorite of mine but I think the topping situation is a bit lame. If you get mushrooms for example, as a topping, it's pretty much guaranteed that you'll get less than three slices of a mushroom on any one piece and many times there may be only one which you will see in the photo. Sadddd.
google avatar

Karen F.

Yelp
Perfect neighborhood bar: plenty of seats inside and out, televisions on the wall, cool reclaimed wood bar top, friendly bartender, and plenty of craft beer and cider in bottles and on tap to work your way through. I stopped in for lunch - for now they are just serving lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - but they hope to increase that once they build up their clientele. They open for lunch at noon, but apparently that means they turn the fryers on at noon, so by the time I had the wings I ordered, it was almost 12:30 pm. No biggie since I wasn't in a hurry, but if you have limited time for lunch, be aware. Generous portion of wings came in a tasty hot buffalo sauce with three little celery sticks and ramekin of blue cheese dressing. Food options are whole pizzas, calzones, or wings. It would be nice if they expand those options a bit - I would have loved to have fries with my wings. Next on my list is to try the pizza - everybody has been raving about it, and I can't wait to go back, hang out, and indulge.

Yelp
There is nothing to say about this place other than...it is a wonderful neighborhood hangout for pizza, great beers, and fantastic wings and calzones! Because they are so close to our home in Hampton Terrace, we visit at least twice per month. The pizza is fantastic- fresh NY ingredients- you can't go wrong! We usually get the meat pizza, it's delicious thin crust goodness. The wings are amazing. We usually alternate between naked wings and Sweet Thai Chili. The wings are plump, crispy and delicious- every time! I am curious though- for Brittany that ordered jerk wings (though it was "not her choice") did someone twist your arm? Why order something that you apparently know that you don't like then slam the restaurant because of your poor choice? Seriously?? Kathy- HAMPTON STATION- station- Station- STATION!!! They have a great selection of standard and craft beers as well. But the other great thing about Hampton Station are the people that own it- Troy is amazing and very community focused. He cares about his neighbors, his product and the experience at his restaurant. This is a great place to meet friends and family for a meal, or just for a beer. We are huge fans!i

Yelp
Well, after a day at the Zoo...my son was telling us about this pizza place he had heard all these great reviews about, Hampton Station. Only to get there, go up to the door to see a sign... "No Children!" (We had her 2year old with us) Erik went in to look at the menu, they pointed out that it was "No children" even out front!! I get it, it's a Bar, but really?! Most Bars aren't that obnoxious about it. I guess I will never find out how good their pizza is and they will never get a good review from me!! "No Children!" Really?! Booo!
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
I tried to go get pizza here with my kid. But they don't allow children. It doesn't say that on their website. If they had advertised that someplace other than the front door I would not have gone. They compromised and offered to let us sit outside. But it's way to hot out for that.
google avatar

Joseph N.

Yelp
Good neighborhood bar and pizza spot. Lots of outdoor seating and good beer selection. Pizza is decently sized but got a little soggy towards the middle, overall tasty though. As well the wings looked good but I couldn't figure out how many came in an order or the price. I liked it and will come back
google avatar

Kyle M.

Yelp
Well, its true... These locally-owned, off-the-beaten-path places are always best. Hampton Station are generous with their pizza toppings and it's delivered to your table (only a few feet away from their mighty pizza ovens) piping hot and ready to devour. Some of the best pizza I've eaten. Their chicken wings are also perfectly-cooked (NOT over-cooked and dry/hard - like I've found at a few places in the Tampa Bay area) and smothered in delicious sauce. Once again, Yelp! proves invaluable in finding the best places to throw down! I'll be back for more Hampton!!!
google avatar

Christine B.

Yelp
I love this neighborhood pizza spot! I feel lucky to live near it! It's a quirky little joint with a bar and high tops inside and a ton of outside seating. I've had their pizza and chicken wings and some local beers . If you haven't been, be sure to try them out!
google avatar

Niilo F.

Yelp
Great crispy crust pizza with awesome wings as well. Great vibe with some beers on tap and an outdoor area with TVs

Yelp
Hampton Station is a fun & funky neighborhood pizza, wings, and craft beer spot in Seminole Heights. Look for a refurbished gas station just south of the Publix on Nebraska Avenue, two blocks south of Hanna. Outside, under the covered carport are a series of picnic tables and a big screen TV. Inside, is the bar and a few high-top tables. The place is small, but it has an intimate neighborhood feel. The menu has several different types of pizza, along with a build-it-yourself option for people who just can't get enough anchovies, pineapple, and feta cheese on their pies. I ordered the 16" Supreme which came with pepperoni, sausage, ham, green peppers, red onions, and mushrooms -- and took about 3/4ths of the pizza home for another day. In addition to pizza they have calzones, salads, chili, and wings. Oh, and beer.......several different types of craft beer on tap so that you can have a frosty cold Adult beverage while you wait for your pie to cook. You place your order with the bartender, and pay right away. Rather than take your name, they assign you a superhero action figure to carry to your table. In my case it was Spiderman (Fanboi cheer of excitement!), and I proudly displayed the web-slinging statuette on my table while sipping my Blackthorn Apple Cider and waiting on my dinner. There are four or five tables inside, as well as seats at the bar, and of course there were picnic tables outside for larger groups. It's not a real large place, but it's perfect for Seminole Heights. They also offer carryout if you don't want to eat it there. Place your order, grab your superhero, and chill out while they prepare your food.

Jeff L.

Yelp
Funky little place with really good pizza was what I was told by several friends. so I met up with a few of them after work and was pleasantly surprised by the beer selection and quality of the pizza. Then I found out from one of the beertenders that children were not allowed in the bar. SCORE!!!, how many times have I been in a bar when children should have been left at home with a babysitter. I'm not anti-kid but that just added a major plus for returning. And the pizza was really good!!! Well done Hampton!
google avatar

Paige P.

Yelp
Best pizza in the bay! And their wings slap too. Highly recommend. I'd suggest the white pizza and the garlic parm wings.

Yelp
Can't wait to visit this place again next week when I visit Florida again. I took to Yelp to remind me of the name and I'm happy I found it here. When we last visited we had a great time and anticipate another great gathering with friends when we get back!
google avatar

Brett N.

Yelp
Why 4 stars? Because everything that touches Seminole Heights is gold. --- --- --- I may be biased, but I feel like my neighborhood can do no wrong. I'm not going to claim that this was the best pizza I've ever had, or even in the top 10... but I also know that I visited during the first week, and that Hampton Station has plenty of time to perfect their craft. The business next to Publix has long been operated by more of the old school Seminole Heights. The new hipster generation took this space over, and it looks GREAT! Craft beer, pizza, and wings. I hear burgers will be around soon as well, and I'll be back as soon as that's true. It's amazing what a can of paint, string lights, and a cool sign will do for a place. It completely transformed from non-descript to trendy, in a very short period of time. The old gas station cover over the patio has turned out to be super convenient to keep outside diners dry during the rainy season. I'm stoked that Hampton Station opened its doors, and I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Katy S.

Yelp
Yay for another great new business in Seminole Heights! I was, of course, happy to hear that Hampton Station was on the way. When I found out that a bike beer crawl that I was attending would be stopping at Hampton Station, I was excited. I must say, Hampton Station did a great job of accommodating our massive bicycle gang even after just opening. Hampton Station is a smaller pizza joint, also offering craft beer and wings. While the inside isn't that big, there is a large outdoor patio. They have a pretty good beer selection (which isn't surprising as 2 Independent bartenders opened the place). I got to try the pizza and it was delicious. Rumor has it that they will eventually offer burgers, too. Hampton Station will definitely enter my Seminole Heights food rotation. I foresee this being a sports spot for me as the big screen tvs, pizza, and beer are quite inviting!

Yelp
Very interesting place. Good beers and laid back atmosphere. The pizza is tasty and the waitstaff is friendly. I would definitely return!

Yelp
Was very disappointed in the food after first time trying it. I have heard multiple great things about this place. However, when I placed my order to go I picked it up and came home, my wings still had feathers on them with barely any flavor or sauce. My cheese pizza was very soggy and bread was wet from the grease. Not a very good first impression. I Would not recommend this place in Seminole heights for pizza or wings
google avatar

Brandy M.

Yelp
We went today for the 1st time and were very pleased. They have a great neighborhood feel. Love the decor and the vibe inside. We ordered pizza with lots of toppings and an order of extra crispy wings. The pizza was excellent, without a doubt the best pizza we have had in a long time. The toppings were fresh and the crust is crispy and delicious. The wings were great too. We ordered mild sauce and I still thought it was hot, lol, but the wings were great! They had great flavor. We will definitely be eating there again. They are an awesome addition to Seminole Heights!

Yelp
Was going to go here(with a one year old)because I thought it was a pizza place, but I guess it is considered more of a bar?? There is a sign on the door that say's no children so we turned around and got back in the car. The yelp review say's it's good for kids so they should probably take that down. Won't go back here even without my son because I think that is messed up to have a sign saying that...if you are in fact a pizza place.

Yelp
I did a double date @ Hampton Station, and it did not disappoint. This place is really good! I got the mild wings and a pepperoni pizza, pretty simple but big in flavor! It is a super casual joint, more of a dive but I really enjoyed it and recommend it! Just a note, at least inside there are no children allowed. I didn't see that posted anywhere else so I figured I'd let others know! Will return.
