"One of Honolulu’s most popular breweries, in Kaka‘ako’s brewery corridor, Hana Koa offers an ever-changing tap list, from the staple Rooftop pale ale to the recent Snoop POGG, an imperial kettle sour ale riffing on Hawai‘i’s beloved drink of passionfruit, orange, and guava juices. The ground floor has a lively and open atmosphere, while the second floor hides a more intimate cocktail bar." - Martha Cheng

Our final night of being in Honolulu and our last dinner stop was Hana Koa Brewing since it looked to get great reviews. Came on New Years Day at around 7 PM and they were a little busy but we managed to get a table. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our table. I started out with the Pork Belly Sliders as an appetizer and those were great! I got the fish and chips as my entree. Overall, it was decent. The fries were fried fresh and were seasoned well but the fish was a little soggy and not that flavorful. Was a little disappointed to say the least. Otherwise, this was a good experience! If I’m back in Honolulu, I’ll come to try their burger or their chicken sandwich next time!

Google
Excellent meal. interesting selection of brews. The breading on the fish and chips was thick and fairly hard, but it really worked. That was the table's favorite. Crab Cake was good, but its sauce was better. Mac n Cheese was a big hit with our granddaughter. Same with the truffle fries. Parking is a nightmare.

Google
Happy hour ends at 6pm, however the food and drinks were delicious. The only reason I would knock them from a five star review is the parking situation. Parking is terrible. I've come here 3 times, each time I had to find park on the street, whole foods, or their annex parking lot. What sucks their parking lot next to the brewery is always full, a portion of the parking is taken by staff. Regardless, food is good, especially the onion rings, and the cocktails on the mezzanine level is good too. Although our group of friends thought the old fashion was a bit strong. I recommend you visit this brewery a couple of times.

Google
A hidden gem for beer lovers and vegetarians. From the outside you think your lost down an industrial road with nothing going on, how wrong! The food was fresh and delicious, staff provided attentive service and the venue had a great ambiance in an open and airy space away from the hubbub of Waikiki. Lots of beer and other drink options in amongst the actual brewery at a fair price especially if you make it during happy hour. A good variety of fresh pure vegetarian options which is often hard to find, trust me. Sorry I forgot to take photos of the veggie burger made with actual vegetables and beans/ chickpeas, not veggie protein substitute. We will be going back and adding to our list of favourite food venues to visit on Oahu.

Google
Great beer selection and even better food! Onion rings are a great choice with the fry sauce. Brisket cubano is flavorful but what stole the show was the spicy kimchi shrimp

Google
So much happiness here. First and foremost, the staff and management are all awesome. Friendly vibes and good conversation all around. Second, great beer. At least two actual hazy IPAs in Moonlight Mover and the Longest Wave. And one of the best rice lagers I’ve ever had. Party Boys is light and dry but has a point of view. Finally—and this is no surprise—the food. Amazing. I’ve had better short ribs but not by much and only at dedicated Barbeque joints. Love it here. Update: came back in 2024 and Hana Koa is still balling out. Loved the Basic Witch and 1881 Premium. Kitchen is still killing it too. This is going to be a stop every time we’re on Oahu.

I went here for a work lunch and the food was great. I ordered their August special (Greek salad with roasted eggplant and I added chicken) the dressing was great but the roasted eggplant was insane…Smokey and delicious!! The customer service was also really good. I can’t wait to come back on a Sunday because the Sunday brunch menu looks amazing 🫶

Yelp
Always a hit here. The bartender, Nicholas, is awesome. He's a pleasure to talk to and always so quick to make sure I always have a cold beer! Their food options are great, this time I went for brunch and got the brisket loco loco - the brisket is so tender. Everything was flavorful and fresh. 10/10. I love the different beers they come out with and they have the best sours on island. I only wish I could bring my dogs with me to hang out! My favorite beer (right now) is guava drip and basic witch!

Amanda K.

Yelp
We had our company Christmas party here this past weekend. The mezzanine can hold up to 45 people. There is a minimum spend depending on the time. They also have a small parking lot beside them which is a plus! The food was delicious we ordered the roasted eggplant bruschetta, Asian salad, Korean short ribs, fried saimin, garlic shrimp, special ordered poke & prime rib. I don't drink but my husband got the breaktime blonde which is liked and he also got an old fashion. And I ordered myself a bread pudding, so good with ice cream! Shoutout to Naomi the events manager. She is extremely helpful every step of the way! And our bartenders thank you!! I think Mary was her name I totally forgot but she was the sweetest! Love her!

Yelp
I LOVE hana koa! they're the best spot to get dinner and a drink with really reasonable prices and variety. they're able to accommodate group sizes even up to 16 people and the service is still attentive. all the food I've tried has been great but I always love the farmhouse burger. they're generous with the fries and the burger is perfectly cooked. favorite beer has to been whichever mochi beer they have on rotation but I also enjoy their hazys. if you want to book the moon room upstairs for a private event on the weekends, it's super easy and they're really accommodating. otherwise it's also fun to get a table up there (when there isn't an event) and they'll stream movies on the projector!

Tracy D.

Yelp
Came with a group of girlfriends. We enjoyed this cool spot. Vibe check passed! Ordered a few drinks & ate a bunch of food. The gals ordered a few flights- Purple Mochi Daze drink was a hit. Tried to order a few of those to take home, unfortunately they were out of it that day. There's mocktails- Lilikoi Palmer was refreshing! Avo crostini. Marlin toasts, onion rings, chicken sando & bread pudding was yummy. The crab cake po 'boy just wasn't it, skip that. Will order the loco moco next time, that looked delicious.

Yelp
A great brewery with a great kitchen - this is an establishment where its difficult to decide whether it's a brewery with a kitchen or kitchen with a brewery. In Kaka'ako, close to Ala Moana, it was a choice to visit after an afternoon at the beach. A great open warehouse atmosphere, it's not quite the micro-brewery I visited elsewhere - they have a/c so it's not hot and humid. Plus: * Great selection of beer (it's brewery!) * Great restaurant - the food is fabulous! In fact, the food selection is awesome * Great service as the staff are very knowledgeable about the beer & food * Great selection of SWAG in the back (by the bathroom) * Great selection of whiskey on stock; in fact there is a room upstairs (for special events) available for special events Minus: * Parking may be an issue - there is some available on the side, but it can quickly get crowded, so you may have to park around the place Awesome beer + food + atmosphere - a great combination worth visiting.

Yelp
Nice neighborhood brewery. They have good selection of draft beers and seasonals. Food selection is pretty good as well. Been here a few times, but first time at the "Moon" room, which is the upstairs area. Nice change of ambiance - more of a wine/cocktail bar feel. Had their specials - campfire old fashioned and pink pony. Good presentation. As expected in terms of the drink itself. I wasn't disappointed. Fried chicken sandwich was good. Big portion and we'll seasoned. Service was excellent. We'll be back.

Kim B.

Yelp
Cute little spot and has nice parking in the back. Came in with a friend who wanted to buy beers to go. Walked in and it's spacious with tall ceiling. You can sit down and have a burger or a ramen!! Heard the food is just as good as the beer and who doesn't like the combo of all?? I was trying to buy myself some beer and didn't know that they can give you a little sample of any beer you want to buy. Unfortunately I didn't end up buying any, but my friend got a case of beer and said he's happy with them!! The cans are taller than a normal beer can. The ladies behind the counter were so sweet and accommodating. Knowledgeable staff. The food I hear is delicious so one day I will have to try to return to taste it for myself.

Yelp
Hanakoa Brewing has truly embraced the Oktoberfest spirit, with a stellar lineup of seasonal beers fresh on tap! We started with a tasting flight to sample their unique creations: the Basic Witch, a chai golden ale with pumpkin spice; the Snoop Pogg, a tangy sour ale infused with lilikoi, guava, and orange; and the Cucumber Wheel, a refreshing Kölsch with cucumber and mint. The rotating selection always brings new flavors, which is one reason I keep coming back. For food, we kicked off with the soft pretzel and beer cheese. The cheese was great, but the pretzel itself was on the tougher side--not quite the softness we expected. But then came the real highlight: the fish and chips. The fish was tender, wrapped in an irresistibly flaky crust, and paired with Hanakoa's iconic fries. This is one dish I'll order every time--it's just that good! Finally, we couldn't pass up on the bread pudding, which more than lived up to the hype. Gooey, comforting, and just the right level of sweetness, it pairs perfectly with vanilla ice cream for a guilt-free indulgence. Try it with their Cortado stout; the coffee notes in the beer enhance the dessert's warmth and richness.

Yelp
My husband and I were excited to get lunch here this past Sunday. We sat at the bar around 2pm. I can honestly say, I've never in my life had such rude service. I am a bartender, and have worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. I am a very low maintenance, easy going customer. I can only assume that our bartender was finishing up his lunch shift, and was disappointed that we came in. After we sat there for a few minutes, he placed menus in front of us, offering no verbal greeting, no eye contact. I don't think he spoke to us more than one or two words the entire time we were there. He wouldn't look at us. I was honestly shocked, I couldn't figure out why he was being so rude. We drank our beers and decided on what we wanted to eat, but he never offered to take our order. He just talked with his coworkers the whole time. When we finished our beers, we sat there with empty glasses, discussing whether we should just go get lunch somewhere else. My husband flagged down our bartender and ordered another round and our lunch. We had to talk to the bartender's back because he just nodded at us to order and never turned around from the beer taps. We ate our food and he disappeared as soon as we paid. The food was excellent, the beer was excellent, I would undoubtedly never come here again because the service was so awful.

Yelp
Always a good location to visit and have a craft beer and some good food. Came here Sunday and a light crowd but enough choices of good places to sit. They had the football game on and it made for a great afternoon. The waitress was terrific and attentive. I had the fries chicken sandwich with fries - it came out piping hot and tasty. The chicken was extremely hot and fried, almost too fried and the chicken was too well done. A great selection of beers and a friendly establishment, recommend you try it.

Julia L.

Yelp
The husband and I have been to Hana Koa Brewing a few times now, and every visit has been good. It's a chill spot with lively vibes, and tasty food and drinks. The staff is also friendly and service is good. However, the downside is the parking. Although there is a parking lot available, it does fill up quick and street parking can be a hit or miss. All in all, a solid brewery to check out!

Jeanette E.

Yelp
Came here after work around 5:30pm. The parking is pretty sparse so you just need to get lucky or have a lot of patience. Be careful where you park as there are signs that say no parking in certain areas. There may also be parking behind the building. I saw a ramp on the side, but didn't go up there. I'm lucky to know a business owner in the area that let me park in one of her stalls. The food here is great and the servers will make good recommendations for food and drinks if you ask. The beer menu is vast and can be a bit overwhelming. I was happy with my drink. She also kept the water filled which was nice. They have some merch towards the rear area where the restrooms are located. The establishment fills up pretty quickly, so try to come early.

Catherine M.

Yelp
I really liked this brewery, they have a great happy hour from 3pm-6pm during the week. You can get a flight for $10 and well drinks for $5. The beer was good and so were the vodka sodas. We had the bang bang shrimp, the Mac and cheese and the fries. The shrimp was amazing, the mac and cheese was also good. Loved the fries but wasn't a super fan of the sauce they gave, it was a little too sweet for my liking. The service was okay, we were at a high top and had a server but the server was also the bar tender and they did not come over often so we had to come up to the bar. It was just a little confusing of a system.

Steve S.

Yelp
Consistently good variety of standard and new rotational beers. One of my favorite brewers on island. Food is a step above other breweries in town, but is still brewery food. Holiday specials for food and drink for St Pattys day and Oktoberfest are good and worth checking out. Friendly staff each visit. Parking can be tight as it is a small spot.

Belinda A.

Yelp
They always have different selections of beers every time we went. Service can be a hit or miss. since the last time I went it was slow the service was slow. Usually when it's busy the service was very good. Food is always good there, always check their specials.

Julianna C.

Yelp
We love Hana Koa brewing! It is one of our go-to spots to take our visitors that leaves everyone satisfied. We love the overall vibe, friendly service, top notch food, vast/rotating beer selection, fun specials, and super cute merch. My go to order is the Asian Salad with grilled shrimp; kind of a strange order for a brewery, I know, but they do it right. However, if it's Wednesday, the wings are where it's at! A must try! I'm not even a wing person, and I love them! Super flavorful and juicy. Mando Mac is also a treat every now and then; very rich and yummy. Fish and chips is my mother in laws fave on island. Honestly, we've made our way through a decent amount of their menu, but I love how their beers rotate and change as well as their specials, so it always gives me fun new options to try. My husband also can't leave without getting a new piece of Hana koa merch; the branding is so well done and the options are very cool. While our doggo Hilo is not able to dine in with us, he does have a super adorable Hana koa bandana. I also highly recommend sitting in the upstairs 21+ bar. It's a fun space and a little quieter. Only downsides would probably be parking and no doggies. Parking is usually okay with their lot and spots in the back, but it can be tough on busy weekends. Worst case, park in the TJ Max lot and walk. Big Hana koa fans here, so no doubt we'll be back for more soon!

Quinn V.

Yelp
My favorite brewery on the island hands down because they are so queer friendly! I feel safe and comfortable there. I go there for beer and food so I like to sit upstairs. They host Planned Parenthood trivia, so that was fun. Beautiful space and nice staff. Would highly recommend it to everyone. They have a parking lot, but they are popular so you are also allowed to park on the spaces in yellow on the street if the lot is full. I bring all my friends and visitors here for a fun time with local beers

Sadie N.

Yelp
Burger and the Mai tai were pretty alright. Space is big and well decorated for a brewery, parking is limited but available. Service was quick and attentive, very sweet staff.

Mina K.

Yelp
This is and will always be one of my favorite breweries in the area! Food is always tasty, never disappoints. They have a large chalkboard listed selection of beers so be open to trying something new to make you hoppy We have had a different server every time I have gone (5th time today) and each one is fun, personable, and fast. I never encountered a server who didn't know their taps! The interior is clean and modern, and there is a small gift shop in the back where you can find the breweries merch!

K D.

Yelp
Food is amazing will come back anytime of the day, we went here twice. Lunch hour and brunch hour both are good time to come, during our time here the service are great always asking if we need more water or anything to add, even the flights or speciality drinks. I like the look of this place industrial look. Wish they have a little bit more parking space since parking area where it's located is small.

Jeff H.

Yelp
Truly a gem! You can get their Rooftop Pale Ale at about any bar, but at the brewery they have all kinds of others beers. Good selection of swag too!

Kerry B.

Yelp
So I have been to three breweries so far in Honolulu and seems like the West Coast style of Brewing is prevalent here.  May just be the proximity of the ingredients, or maybe folks here like the hop forward high IBU flavors. Definitely beers so far have been on the dryer side.  Hana Koa Brewing Co.  is not the exception to the rule. Love the tap room.  Plenty of space, great for groups.  And they have an upstairs that looks VIPish.  Great service and the beer wasn't bad either.  I talked to some locals and they said this is a great place for sours.  There were a fair amount on the menu, but unfortunately for me, I wasn't feeling for sours on this Friday afternoon. I did get to try an appetizer though.  The roasted eggplant bruschetta app is absolutely delicious. It is garlic forward, and pairs so well with the beers THE BEERS: Roof Top pale ale 5.2% ABV...  I really liked this.  It is slightly grassy and I really like that flavor in a pale ale. Snap to it! Red ale 5.2% ABV... this is slightly fruity, slightly weird after taste, but tasty Macha Mochi Daze hazy IPA 6% ABV... I was confused at first, it reminded me of vanilla sake.  Don't think that is a thing, but that was my first reaction.  It has a little citrus as well. Rad Sauce hazy IPA 6% ABV... was like a party in my mouth, fruity, dank and delicious So... if you only had one brewery to go to in Honolulu, this would be a great choice. There is enough variety to keep the average beer afficionado content.

Val S.

Yelp
Great beers as usual. The food is always good. Recommend the Vietnamese salad and the Irish stew! Our server, Chris, was so kind and quick. Go early or reserve a table to make sure you get to go and have their beers. Merch shop has some cool shirts and other souvenirs.

Adam F.

Yelp
One of the two days (not long enough!) we spent in Honolulu on our recent vacation (mainly to the big island), I spent the afternoon trying to visit as many breweries as I could make it to on food from each other (I took the bus to/from our hotel in Waikiki, which worked pretty well.) I didn't try any of the food, nor any cocktails (though I did certainly *appreciate* that most of the breweries in Hawaii, unlike in California, offer both of those things), but I did try a number of their beers, in a wide array of styles. I loved that all their beer was available in tasters, and that you could get any number of tasters (though sadly, for *to-go* beer they only sell 4-packs.) This was definitely the busiest of the breweries I stopped at, but they also have a pretty large amount of space, so there was no issue finding a space to sit. Service was also pretty fast, too, given how busy it was. Granted, given the number of taps they had, and the number of styles represented, it feels like the sort of brewery that changes their beer pretty often, but as of when I was there a few weeks ago, I tried a pretty solid tripel, a wonderful coffee-forward coffee stout, a couple great hazies, and one strawberry/lemon "sour ale" that wasn't *quite* as fruity or as sour as I'd hoped, but still, also pretty good. I'd definitely come back here if I were in the area, especially since again, I think a lot of the beer would be totally different.

Ben K.

Yelp
This was our favorite brewery on Oahu! Great atmosphere, yummy food, and delicious brews! Some lot parking near the restaurant, but we found free street parking nearby! There is a formal host stand and I think they even take reservations! We got a seat at the bar and ordered up our first round from a crew of lovely bartenders! The aesthetic of the space is clean, modern, with a touch of Asian/Hawaiian inspiration. Lots of seating available and I feel like it could be a good spot for groups if you plan ahead! Our food and beer was delicious. The fish sandwich was lovely and well portioned, served with fries and a unique BBQ aioli dipping sauce!

Mary S.

Yelp
Sat at bar early evening on a Saturday night and had great service, the drinks were excellent (had a cocktail & beer), and there was still space left in the parking lot. Will try the moon room next time!

Rebecca T.

Yelp
One of my favorite brewery restaurants on island. Great food, wide selection of interesting beers, friendly staff and spacious dining area. The 21+ bar area upstairs also serves up some interesting cocktails as well and you can also order food as well! I love their eggplant bruschetta and they also make some good burgers! They also offer weekly specials as well so you'll never get bored with their menu. I also like how to do reservations on OpenTable making it easy to secure a spot on the weekends. The only downside is the location having few parking spots, but if you live in Ward Village it's very walkable.

Emily L.

Yelp
I really loved the place inside, it had a nice atmosphere. Although I will say it was quite hot inside, my whole table was sweating. They had a lot of beer options, but only two cider options which was a little disappointing. Wish there were a few more on tap. I decided to get a seltzer instead. The food was great, I got the fish and chips and it was delicious with the tartar sauce. We also got mac and cheese and it was delicious. Would definitely return for the food.

Zuri M.

Yelp
This is a very cute spot for dinner and drinks. I love the mac n cheese! The chicken sandwich was ok. The teri burger was not good - the sauce was extremely salty, and the burger was burnt. I have had good service each time coming here.

Milton K.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for fresh brews on tap, guest taps, or cocktails, with tasty dishes, in a very roomy atmosphere, Hana Koa Brewing maybe just the place for you. They are located two blocks makai of Kapiolani Boulevard and a block east of Ward Avenue. They have free, but limited parking next to their building. Our sever was super friendly, provided recommendations that were very descriptive, and delivered excellent service. Overall: **** Recommended **** Food: **** Value: **** Menu: **** Ambiance: **** Service: ***** Parking: **** RATINGS & RECOMMENDED ORDER: Garlic Shrimp = A delicious! Spicy Pork Belly Sliders = B Pickles Onion Rings = C (more to come) Website: https://www.hanakoabrewing.com/ Yelp: https://yelp.to/3384fBGps6 YELP: Sorry! They allow only one 12 second video & the remaining to 3 seconds, with maximum of 10 pictures/videos. The full video can be found elsewhere. RATINGS KEY: A = Really Good - one of the best B = Good - would order again C = ok - similar, nothing special we D = Not very good - wouldn't order F = Terrible - avoid

Kimi S.

Yelp
Great beer selections & food choices (legit meals). The space is great! Large open concept and bright and cheery vibes. The parking can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, but what spot in the Ala Moana warehouse district isn't. Worth a stop every visit home.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Nice brewery! They had a nice variety of beers with interesting flavors. I enjoyed the peach beer and the tropical sour. We had the marlin toast which was really tasty.

Gregg R.

Yelp
Tucked away in the former "industrial" area of Kaka'ako, is the amazing Hana Koa Brewing. They serve amazing beers and have a full menu for lunch and dinner on the first floor. So many different options for food. In fact, it seems more of a restaurant with beer than a brewery with some sample foods. Upstairs is a loft type area with craft cocktails, in addition to the beer selection and food. They also use this area for private events. Be sure to get online reservations if there is an event at the Blaisdell as the night we just walked in , there was a 2 hr wait. Fortunately, a couple of bar stools opened up just as we were walking out so we lucked out. Service was super friendly and efficient. And if you really like the place, there is a rather large gift shop area in the back with logo merchandise.

Andrew H.

Yelp
This is the brewery I would go to if you want semi-high-end Asian-fusion-y food to go with your brew. I guess lots of food is "Asian-fusion-y" in Hawaii though, so maybe that's not very descriptive. In general, this brewery has the most "high-end" vibe. At least based on the ones I've been to in Oahu. The food has a fancy take to it, and they serve cocktails in addition to beer. Come to think of it, this is probably the best brewery to go to if you've got someone in your crew that doesn't like beer. Having said that: the beer here is really good! I got a rice lager and a rose'-inspired IPA. The lager was extra crisp, just as you'd expect. And the IPA, despite the sometimes-sweet-wine inspiration, was not overly sweet, jus how I like it. My only criticism, and this is most breweries these days: the tap list was a little too dominated by Hazy/New England IPAs. I would've loved to see a few more lagers.

Erin B.

Yelp
Great service, food and ambiance! We stopped in for a drink while on vacation and thought it was a fun place. Would definitely go back!

Brie S.

Yelp
Hana Koa is my absolute favorite brewery in Hawaii! They do weekly drops of new beer every Friday and do collabs with other local businesses and charitable organizations. Their Rice Breaker previously known as the Party Boy Pilsner will quench any thirst and is an awesome collab with The Rice Factory. Their beer is so crisp and refreshing, you seriously can't go wrong with any of them. They also have great food and the real stars of the show are their daily specials. They serve the most delicious chili on Fridays for lunch service and incredible breakfast tacos for Sunday brunch. Their homemade hot sauce is a must! If you have not tried either of these items, do not walk...RUN! You're welcome!

Sydni K.

Yelp
I love the spacious and well-lit ambiance with the high roof at Hana Koa, something you don't usually find in bars. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially around dinner time, but I managed to find a spot at Whole Foods and walked over. My friend made reservations for us, and good thing she did because it was pretty packed. I went for the farmhouse burger and a bikini blonde beer. The burger was alright, a bit on the dry and overcooked side, but the arugula and cheese really stood out. Not being a big beer person, I decided to give their #1 beer a shot, especially since a 5oz was only $2. The overall vibe here is great, but I think I'll explore different food options on my next visit.

Tim L.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere in this Brewery. The porter I drank was okay, not great. Service was good and friendly. Would surely return to try different porters/stouts and food

Mary K.

Yelp
Surprisingly packed for a Sunday night! They offer 5 / 10 / 16oz pours so we got three 10oz hazy IPAs: Moonlight Mover (super light - my fave), Longest Wave (husband's fave), and Luck Be a Lady hazy (newest beer on tap). Food looked good - eclectic American bar food. Parking lot on the side fills up fast, but I didn't have a hard time finding street parking.

Yelp
This establishment offers excellent service and quality food, with a spacious environment ideal for groups. They feature a diverse selection of beers, including seasonal options, which is a notable advantage. The focus here is primarily on hazy IPAs, making it an ideal spot for those who enjoy that style of beer. In addition to hazy IPAs, they offer sour beers and one regular IPA. The menu changes seasonally, though they maintain a core selection. Prices are reasonable, particularly given the generous beer servings, and they provide flight options for those interested in exploring different hazy IPA varieties.

Yelp
Ok wow. Came here for the beer and food and was not disappointed. Those onion rings! Definitely must try. You have the option of ketchup, ranch and this other sauce that has brisket drippings in it. Went with that one obviously. Lol. It was good but a bit overpowering. Both sandwiches were delicious but the pickles were a bit overpowering as well. Good without as much tbh. The beeer! I mean, who doesn't love flights? Service was good. Staff were super attentive and ambiance

Yelp
A couple of friends and I had to kill some time so we dropped by for a few beers and an app. I was a little hesitant because I've tried a couple of their canned beers before and wasn't that impressed. I had a couple of hazy IPA's (Space Dinosaur and Chee Hoo Chongers). Both were actually really good. My buddies ordered hazy IPA's and stouts and they like their beers also. We only ordered fries and they were also tasty. I would definitely like to go back and try out more beers and more food. One drawback is that they only have about 3 set beers on the menu and they rotate the rest. So if you find one you like it might not be there the next time you go.

Yelp
Hana Koa Brewing is one of my favorite breweries on the island -- it used to be a warehouse, but they renovated it into a beautiful space. Upstairs seating for the speciality Cocktails and Downstairs seating for everything else. Reservation recommended on OpenTable especially on weekend nights. Easy to make, I've never had an issue making a reservation same day even. Parking can be tricky if you aren't able to snag a spot next door in their parking lot. Variety of different beers to choose from. The bartender upstairs also makes delicious quality cocktails. Friendly bartenders and servers. Their pickled onion rings are so good! They also have daily food specials - check that out if you're craving something particular. The food could be a hit or miss. The brisket burger I got once was just okay. If you come during St. Patrick's Day, they have exclusive Irish food and drink specials. It was amazing food both the 2 years we came! Give a try next time you want some Pau Hana time:)

Yelp
Beer: Good craft beer. I tried the Surf Pup, a gose with sea salt. Very refreshing on a hot, sunny afternoon. Also the Tropic Freeze was a nice, clean IPA. Food: Food was good but not great. I had the Texas brisket moco over fried rice. I wish I had ordered it without the gravy. The gravy was a horrible lukewarm gelatinous mass that ruined the dish. Service: good server Overall cleanliness: very good Bathroom cleanliness: above average

Yelp
Great spot in general, but this review is for Sunday Brunch! Reservations are always a good idea, but walk-ins are welcomed and typically only a 15-20 minute wait when busy. The football schedule may change that, so plan ahead. Sundays, they host yoga upstairs, and those who participate get a beer afterward. Breakfast/Brunch specials and a great menu of options. Full bar with many liquor options as well as their awesome craft beers. Free parking onsite and a paid lot for overflow on the street parallel. Uber or Lyft is a better option if drinking! Casual and keiki friendly.

Yelp
Stopped by here on a whim as we were looking for a place to watch the game while on vacation and we're so glad we came across Hana Koa Brewing Co. The vibes inside are super chill and the servers are super nice and attentive. There's a good amount of seating and tvs for you to watch sports. My husband ordered the beer flights and I ordered the Lilikoi Mule which was really refreshing. For the beer, some of our faves were the Guava flow, mango mochi daze, and some of their seasonal ones. We ordered fries and asian salad to share, both of which were good as well. We had such a great time at Hana Koa and will definitely be back again. Only downside is the parking which is quite limited but we looped around and someone left in the lot next to Hana Koa so we were able to park! Be careful about parking at the 12 as sometimes they close the gate, per what the workers told us!

Yelp
One of the few places on the Island that you can find more then 1 IPA on draft.. They have like 10! Had a couple of Flight, and a Pint.. All different and Tasty Good.. Great Friendly Fast Service, Yummy Brews & Food. Definitely will be back if we can find parking in the Industrial area. We got lucky and find a spot in the lot.
