One of the two days (not long enough!) we spent in Honolulu on our recent vacation (mainly to the big island), I spent the afternoon trying to visit as many breweries as I could make it to on food from each other (I took the bus to/from our hotel in Waikiki, which worked pretty well.) I didn't try any of the food, nor any cocktails (though I did certainly *appreciate* that most of the breweries in Hawaii, unlike in California, offer both of those things), but I did try a number of their beers, in a wide array of styles. I loved that all their beer was available in tasters, and that you could get any number of tasters (though sadly, for *to-go* beer they only sell 4-packs.) This was definitely the busiest of the breweries I stopped at, but they also have a pretty large amount of space, so there was no issue finding a space to sit. Service was also pretty fast, too, given how busy it was.
Granted, given the number of taps they had, and the number of styles represented, it feels like the sort of brewery that changes their beer pretty often, but as of when I was there a few weeks ago, I tried a pretty solid tripel, a wonderful coffee-forward coffee stout, a couple great hazies, and one strawberry/lemon "sour ale" that wasn't *quite* as fruity or as sour as I'd hoped, but still, also pretty good. I'd definitely come back here if I were in the area, especially since again, I think a lot of the beer would be totally different.
