Hanami Ramen

Absolutely loved this place! The ramen was incredibly creamy and savory — full of flavor without being too heavy. You can tell they really care about quality. The Kara Age (chicken) was fresh and juicy, and the spicy mayo sauce on the side made it even better. The Fried gyosa (dumplings) were super good too — perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. And I loved that noodle refills are only $2, which is such a great deal. Definitely coming back again! 🍜

Hanami Ramen is such a hidden gem. If you’re in the area (or not even but want good ramen), you should stop by. The food is just amazing. I am in love with their kaarage and their gyoza. They are both absolutely fantastic. The matcha latte is so good, and much better than other cafes (which is crazy). The ramen is delicious. The curry ramen is surprisingly more soupy than most curry ramens I’ve had, and I actually prefer it. It was easy to enjoy and I really liked it. The mushroom ramen was also delicious. The broth is nice and clean, super umami forward. The black sesame cheesecake is also one of the best desserts I’ve had. I’m a huge fan of black sesame too, so that played a factor. I’d recommend it if you like cheesecake and black sesame. Please stop by this restaurant. Your stomach will thank you for the delightful meal. Also psst- it’s not on the menu, but their hojicha latte is out of this world. 10000/10 recommend. You can thank me later!

It was a cold and rainy night. My wife was coming out of a dentist appointment and she had a craving for ramen… we searched for a ramen place in Flushing. We stopped by Hanami Ramen and gave it a shot…. We may have found our go to ramen place in Flushing!! The food was **delicious** and if I wasn’t so full, I wanted more and more. The staff was super friendly (shout out to Young!). The environment was welcoming and perfect for a date night. We highly recommend this place and we will be coming back tomorrow!!

What a nice little gem that was added to the neighborhood. It has been open for a few months and I just discovered it today via menu flyer to my house. Was greeted when we entered and quick brought to a table. The food was tasty and not too heavy. We ordered the tonkotsu ramen and kare age donburi lunch set that came with gyoza and drink. Restaurant was very clean and very comfortable to dine in. Neat item- the chairs and benches also served as storage, potentially for jackets when the winter season comes. Credit cards accepted.

Great little ramen shop. Lots of vegetarian options, friendly and helpful service. Very clean, zen atmosphere. Well thought out menu, everything is executed well. Prices are good too!

Been here twice and the food quality is consistently good, fresh/clean taste. Ramen w generous topping, noodle cooked perfectly(the egg not shown in the picture but you get 2 half per serving). Customer Service is by far best of all restaurants in flushing, attentive and non pushy. Place is small but very clean and neat. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quick bite

My new favorite ramen place! I came to visit with my girlfriend and it was a very nice experience. Service 10/10 food 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 matcha was delicious everything was great. I’ll be coming back, thank you guys!

Tasty little treat in the middle of work. And the gentleman behind the counter couldn’t have been any more of a class act. Can’t wait to go back again. Food was outstanding, perfectly cooked and delicious.

Hamani Ramen is a small, casual, and budget-friendly ramen spot in Flushing, Queens. Be sure to check out their lunch specials. Queens has plenty of excellent Japanese restaurants, but in my opinion, this one really stands out. The servers were friendly and professional, and even funny. The Shishito Peppers are a great starter. They are lightly charred and just mildly spicy, perfect for sharing. The Kara Age is another fantastic appetizer: crispy fried chicken with spicy mayo. Although the restaurant is known for its ramen, I opted for a rice bowl instead. The Gyu Don is rice topped with marinated beef and onion, a soy egg, and garnished with scallions and pickled vegetables. It's a hearty, flavorful dish with a wonderful balance of sweet and savory flavors. The portions were generous as well. Overall, 5 stars.

BLUF: Average / slightly above average. Hanami Ramen is a small ramen shop with a focus on basic Japanese ramen and rice dishes. We visited Hanami Ramen and ordered: - Tonkotsu Ramen: $15; $16.33 with tax. - Gyu Don: $15; $16.33 with tax. Both dishes had marinated eggs, which could have been marinated a little longer. The Gyu Don was over-salted. The Tonkotsu Ramen could have used slightly better noodles and a thicker broth. Other: - Complimentary water is served. - The atmosphere and décor is minimalist. - Service was prompt, and good. Suggested tips are based on pre-tax subtotals, and start at 18%; there is a 5% cash discount. - Japanese music played in the background during our visit. The wood stools open for storage. - The unisex restroom has ADA grab bars, and is well-maintained and well-ventilated. We felt overall that Hanami Ramen was somewhere between average and slightly better than average -- not a compelling choice, but a decent choice for those nearby Flushing Hospital.

tl;dr good ramen away from downtown flushing. skip spicy miso, get the tonkotsu came here Sunday lunch, not busy at all only us and another table. there was also a lot of street parking available right outside. We got the tonkotsu ramen and spicy miso. Broth: Tonkotsu itself was flavorful, strong bone taste and well seasoned. However, the miso broth, which is supposed to be the tonkotsu base, was spicy but lacked depth. Mixing the two gave the best of both soups. Noodles were chewy, cooked slightly al dente which i liked. Chashu was well marinated and thinly sliced. Egg was good enough. Overall, solid tonkotsu broth and solid overall bowl.

Hanami Ramen delivers on the core ramen experience. The tonkotsu Ramen is the star of the show, as the broth is rich, deep, and truly killer in every best possible way, clinging perfectly to the delicious noodles and pork slices. The Service was efficient at getting food out, but was completely robotic with little to no interaction with us. We had the Kara-age which was a letdown. While cooked perfectly crispy the oil they used tasted distinctly off leaving an unpleasant, lingering aftertaste that overshadowed the good texture. Go for the excellent Tonkotsu Ramen, but temper expectations on service and skip the fried items. Plenty of metered and free parking in the area.

Nice spot with a few tables and counter seating. There is metered and residential parking, as well as the Q65 stopping close by. The service is friendly and attentive. The Kara Age was fresh and juicy chunks of chicken with a crisp exterior. The breading soaks in the oil, so it's a bit too oily and oily tasting. The Spicy Mayo helps cut it a bit while adding a good spice. The chunks are pretty big so good chicken to breading ratio. The Shoyu Ramen is subtle in flavor; it is more dashi than shoyu flavor. The noodles have a good bite to them. The chashu has a good smoky flavor and was well cooked. The Bamboo Shoot (Menma) and Soy Egg are well marinated. The egg is perfectly jammy as well, and I can really taste the mirin in the marinade. The spicy umami paste tastes like gochujang, which adds a sweet and spicy umami to the ramen. The Black Seasame Cheesecake was not it. I mostly tasted cream cheese with the aftertaste of black sesame. It is definitely a no bake cheesecake, with no crust. It can do with a graham cracker crust and more black sesame flavor. It's a decent spot. I can see what they're going for, but it's just not quite there. Maybe if they made some slight improvements, I'd come back to check it out.

We stopped by for dinner on a Friday night. Plenty of street parking available. This place is small. It's across from Papa John's. One of us ordered a take out few weeks earlier. It was the tonkotsu ramen and it was good. We decided to go back. We ordered another tonkotsu ramen, spicy miso ramen, kara age, and the gyoza. Everything were delicious. Great price too. $15 for a bowl of ramen. Service were great too. Attentive and friendly. This is definitely our favorite ramen place in Flushing. Highly recommended especially if you live nearby. Definitely worth stopping by. You won't be disappointed. We will definitely go back!

My family and I were wandering around, unsure of what to eat, when we spotted this newly opened restaurant adorned with grand opening decorations. The place was empty, which made us hesitant, but we took a chance--and wow, are we glad we did! We kicked things off with their fried chicken appetizer, fried peppers, and fried dumplings, washed down with ice-cold Sapporo draft beer. Every bite was crispy, flavorful, and downright satisfying. The chicken was so juicy. Then came our tonkatsu ramen . The broth's rich aroma hit me first, followed by a spoonful of its deep, savory goodness. The noodles? Perfectly al dente. Is it the best ramen ever? No, but it's really darn good!!!! Especially in this part of Queens, it's unbeatable. My son's gyudon (beef rice bowl) was equally impressive, with bold, spot-on flavors. We got the kara age, tonkatsu ramen, and the gyu don. Kara age had great texture but the flavor was ok. Tonkatsu ramen was recommended but I thought the gyu don was better. Service was really good but not my favorite food.

Cute spot. The food was pretty good. I got the tonkatsu ramen and Gyu don rice bowl. The char siu meat in the ramen was good. The egg was a bit salty but it makes sense since it is a soy sauce egg. It's a bit pricey for what it offers but it's a nice local spot. Service was good. Water was refilled immediately every time I finished my cup.

TLDR- doesn't taste good,disappointing. Ramen is one of the food I had the most in my life and this one didn't taste good. The ramen immediately had a weird sour smell when I smelled it like it had gone bad? The texture of noodles was fine but the soup just tasted like salty sink water with creamy texture. The chicken karaage tasted dry and flavorless asides from some smoky flavor. Usually when I have these they are juicy , crispy, and have mouth watering spices on it. The gyoza just tasted just like microwaved pot stickers. Tasted cheap.

Quick and friendly service! We got tonkatsu & spicy miso ramen, tonkatsu had a pork smell I personally didn't like so I preferred the miso. Overall It was good but not sure if i would come back to eat. Definitely worth a try though if you are around the area.

Been looking for ramen this area forever! Prices and taste is great. Amazing service too, servers were attentive and fast. Got the : spicy miso $15 (had a good heat to it) Tonkatsu $15 (broth was nice and rich) Karage $10 (so cwispyyyy) Mochi $4 (always good) Would recommend all the items I got. Can't wait to try more next time

The gyu don did not any onions! When asked, the server said they changed the recipe. What kind of gyu don doesn't have any onions?! That's called false advertisement. The beef was also very chewy. The spicy miso ramen was one of the worst ramen I have ever had. For the price and quality, this place is not worth it at all.

The tonkotsu ramen is basically a warm hug in a bowl, the chashu don is pure comfort food, and the karaage? Let's just say I'd fight someone for the last piece. Everything was delicious, filling, and honestly too good to share. Highly recommend!

Tried this ramen spot recently and was seriously impressed. I had the Tonkotsu ramen--rich, creamy broth with perfectly tender chashu pork that hit all the right notes. The flavors were deep and comforting, exactly what you'd want in a hearty bowl of ramen. I also had the shishito peppers, which were smoky, slightly sweet, and cooked just right. Everything on the menu was well-priced, making the quality feel like an even better deal. I'll definitely be coming back.

Great service! Always very attentive and kept refilling my water whenever it got close to being empty. The food was also very amazing, I got the spicy miso, the spice level was perfect and not too spicy, the char siu was also cooked perfectly. Would definitely come back again just for this!

We have been waiting for this place to open, and it didn't disappoint! The place was very nice, and cozy. The service was great! And the food, the ramen broth hits the spot! I also tried the chicken karaage and the chicken is so moist and crunchy and perfectly spiced. I will keep coming back!!

Surprisingly great unagi don lunch special. Comes with a side of gyoza and a drink! Have gone back a few times now, consistently good!

The broth was rich, flavorful and perfectly balanced. Service was immaculate and spot on. The chairs serving as a store space for coats and jackets blew my mind.

Got the tonkatsu ramen, shishito peppers and karage which were all pretty good. The chasu in the ramen was smoky from grilling it which I've never experienced before. The noodle texture was also perfect because it was bouncy with a good chew. Overall very pleasant experience and reminds me of the food I had in Japan.

Overall pretty tasty ramen. The tonkotsu was surprisingly good for the price. If you want good value on the daily then I would recommend giving this place a try.

My friends and I decided to try Hanami since it was a new local ramen spot and was not disappointed. Hanami service was amazing, the waiters were very attentive and friendly. I had the Tonkotsu ramen and Karaage chicken - the broth was delicious and the Karaage was fresh and juicy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try out a new ramen spot.
