The 15 Best Restaurants At JFK Airport - New York - The Infatuation
"Besides housing a slice of pizza from Artichoke, a sandwich from H&H is the best move in the little food court right after you get through security. It’s our go-to place for a sandwich, and you can customize it with different breads, meats, and cheeses. And yes, you theoretically could add on muenster, swiss, cheddar, and american if you feel like it." - anne cruz

I am absolutely disgusted with my food. The bagel was DRENCHED in butter as if they dropped it in bucket of oil. It was not edible at all. I was in disbelief when I got to my gate and grabbed the bagel out of the bag, all of the butter spilled all over my clothes. I have never in life experienced this. I understand this is JFK and the workers have to rush, but there is no excuse for this. I wasted 15$ on two bagels that went straight to the trash. They didn’t even have the decency to cut them in half. NEVER AGAIN.

Based on the reviews, i expected to find hell on earth here, but i was pleasantly surprised by a relatively cheap airport breakfast that was rather delicious! I got a nicely toasted bacon, egg, and cheese that both looked and tasted great. My wife also enjoyed her tuna salad sandwich. The line moved relatively quickly and I felt like they were churning out orders pretty fast. I maybe waited 15-20 minutes on a busy morning.

I was skeptical due to the reviews but wanted to try a New York Bagel. I am glad I got a breakfast bagel. The ordering process was painless and I got my bagel rather quickly. The team is doing a phenomenal job! I probably should have ordered a bagel without the avocado but I enjoyed my meal! I understand why people say the bagels in New York are the best.

Meh. You would think having a NY bagel in NY would be an experience; even if it is in an airport. The bacon was pretty good, the egg kind of disappeared in the bagel. The issue is they toast the bagel with the bacon, eggs & cheese, they don’t toast the bagels first the make the sandwich which would have a better/different texture than the egg, thus improving the mouth feel of the eggs with the contrast of the toasted inner bagel. I digress. But what can you really ask for at 3 in the morning.

Do not order a bagel from this place if you would like to enjoy your food. the bagel was drowning in butter making it difficult to even eat. the service is horrible and slow. you are better off going to dunkin or starbucks.

Never had a $20 reuben sandwich that was both burnt and cold at the same time! Interesting experience. The staff seem to hate their lives which seems to be a common denominator for airport workers.

Stick with what you know, which includes that Dunkin’ right next door. The Dunkin’ line might seem longer, but believe me, it’s worth it. This is a trashy “NY bagel”. Don’t waste your time or money. It also took long, like if they were there making the eggs and bacon on a stove top. Ha… clearly packaged and reheated. I wish I read the reviews before ordering a $10 (if you can even call this a) bagel.

So sad I used to love getting a bagel in Ny but you will get better bagels in Alaska than this place. It’s all so plain no salt or pepper these guys don’t care at all if you liked it or not… WORST BAGEL OF MY LIFE lol
