Yelp
All you can eat ribeye steak and LA marinated beef short ribs! That in itself is worthy of 5 stars, but they also provide prompt service! Aside from the japchae, their sides aren't the best; however, the wide selection of quality meats more than make up for it. This is now my preferred spot for kbbq.
You must select "Menu B" for $33.99 in order to fully immerse yourself in meat paradise and includes all of the items within "Menu A."
Food...
LA marinated beef short ribs: deep marinade that is sweet from the honey but combined with soy sauce, garlic, onion, ginger, and the toasted sesame oil ties it all together. Obviously, this is my fave here, and it is unlimited, 10/10 rating!
Ribeye steak: just add salt while grilling, as the natural steak flavors will shine. It's tender with a beefy flavor and extra fat marbling for richness, 10/10! Wow, unlimited too :)
Boneless beef rib: thick cube cuts that are juicy and tender, 10/10!
Beef tounge: juicy and beefy. Don't be discouraged by this cut of beef bcuz it's fire, 9/10!
Spicy beef rib finger: juicy and beefy as well, but with a spicy kick, 9/10. Sometimes, this cut of beef can be chewy at other kbbq spots, but not here!
Spicy pork belly: extra thick cut of bacon with a dash of spice. Get in my mouth! 8/10.
Garlic sauce pork belly: thick cut bacon with garlic flavor. Yes, please, 8/10!
Shrimp: freshness that you can taste, as it had a natural sweet flavor, 8/10.
Sausage: breakfast sausage option is unique and a nice change of pace from all of the beef and bacon, 7.5/10.
Beef bulgogi: was tender, but the sweetness was overboard. It was ok, I'd definitely use the stomach space for different items. Good thing we only asked for a half order. 7/10.
Marinated pork rib: the bone-in pieces were delicious 8.5/10, but the boneless ones were a disappointment, 7/10.
Lamb: we thought these would be shaved thin like the brisket, but they gave us a steak. Surprisingly, it's not as gamey as you'd expect from a thick piece. Nonetheless, I'd skip this and order another ribeye steak instead.
Sliced beef belly: sadly a letdown. Was dry and flavorless. 5/10.
Thin sliced pork belly: first time I've had bland bacon. Pass on this, 5/10.
Japchae: savory fried glass noodles with the touch of seasame oil flavor. We've got seconds and would have gotten more but didn't want to fill up too much in carbs that would have prevented us from loading up on the meats.
Steamed egg: typical but goes well with all of the meats, 7/10.
Fried rice: by itself, it was plain, but it was a great compliment with the meats, 7/10.
Kimchi and spicy cucumber salad: had extra stench flavor. So we we only had the one serving.
Service...
We were seated right away, and our order was taken shortly after. They were on top of it, as they'd take our order for the next round within 5 minutes of dropping off our previous orders. Their efficiency enabled us to feast 6 rounds within 1.5 hours. They've changed our grill before providing us with more meat, so it was changed 5 times. Feel free to judge us :)
Ambiance...
Another bonus is that the atmosphere was chill here. It's not as hetic or noisy as other spots. But then again, we've dined here on a Sunday evening. Parking can be challenging, as it's another busy plaza within the Convoy Asian Cultural District.
