Our server was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is awesome with screens and games everywhere. Great environment. Unfortunately the food was rather bland. It looked great but simply lacked flavour and was surprisingly disappointing - especially considering the cost. A $26 burger should be off the charts amazing not just “meh”. I’d rate the service and atmosphere at 5/5 but the food is probably a 3/5 or even a 2.5/5. Beer was also way overpriced so I simply stuck with water. $80 (before tip) for a burger, two kids meals, and a sandwich should really result in an amazing meal.

Lea the bartender did a great job. She was personable and friendly. Group of 5 were seated promply and our server was attentive and courtious. Food came quick and with mixed reviews. The salmon was dry and overcooked. The pineapple shrimp was a nice display piece.

This is not your typical hotel bar and grill. The food and service are excellent! An overnight stay at the Marriott warrants a stop in here for lunch or dinner.

Waited at the bar for a good 10 to 15 minutes and no one approached me to ask if I wanted to order anything, so it gave me a chance to view the menu and after I saw that the chicken wings were $28 and the fish and chips were $32 I just got up and left without food or drinks. Saved about $75 to $100 in food, drinks, and tips. I'm glad I left. Nice looking place though..

Google
For the most part, the customer service was good. However, one bartender Angel service was flawed. He made a statement to me, "Now I know I'm going to jump over this bar and run you down." Because I told him I didn't want to close my ticket. Next time, my family and I won't patronize them if he is working. I know that it will not hurt the business, but I have to stand on principle.

Overall good experience but definitely short staffed and there were long waits for the hostess I noted. The environment is big screen TV's and loud at times. The food was good. Upscale pricing. My server was good. Large seating area and bar. $$$

Google
The food is very good here. There was a notice to seat yourself, so I did. After quarter of an hour no one came to serve so I went to the bar to order. I waited half an hour but nothing happened. Finally I flagged down a waiter and explained. Five minutes later they brought a to go box. I said I wanted a plate. It took two more attempts to get water and napkins. Don't come here.

Yelp
Always eat here when staying at the LAX Marriott. Comprehensive menu with veggie, fish, meat and chicken. Staff is prompt and friendly and helpful with suggestions. Usually get the burger or other handheld with onion rings (up charge) and that fills me up quick! Location is right off the lobby so people watching is fantastic. Plenty of TVs to catch whatever sports action you are looking for.

Yelp
My sister and I were staying @ The Los Angeles Airport Marriott. The hotel has 2 dining options: Hangar 18 Bar + Kitchen & JW Steakhouse. For obvious reasons, we opted for the non boujee steakhouse. This spot gives you access to a full bar and has a decent selection of foods to choose from. The menu starts off with appetizers, salads, flatbreads, sandwiches, burgers, & seafood plates. We arrived with a few tables being occupied and a few needing to be bussed. I decide to seat myself and waited around for someone to come out. No one ever did. So we had to take it upon ourselves to walk over to the bar and let the gal know we were in need of service. A short moment later a nice gentleman arrived and offered menus. At this point we had been sitting around for quite some time so we had already accessed the menu via QR code and let the man know we were ready to order. Our party of 2 ordered: 2 drinks Aviator Caesar Salad - $18 Grilled NY Strip- MEDIUM [comes with roasted potatoes & broccolini] - $42 Food didn't come out too quickly which was unexpected since the entire place wasn't exactly busy but we weren't exactly in any kind of rush. The steak looked really good, plating was nice. The salad didn't look special in any way but that's to be expected since it was a salad without protein. The salad was very very over dressed but was still good. I liked the house made croutons & the peperoncini peppers added an extra pickly slight heat to the dish. The steak is where things just went downhill. Not only was the steak not MEDIUM, it was downright overcooked! The potatoes looked very raw but were cooked thoroughly and the broccolini was cooked well. The entire dish as a whole was very bland. No flavoring seemed to be provided during the cooking process but the kitchen staff makes sure to give you a side cup of A1. 2 stars for the food and 1 added star for our server. He was so sweet!! While there is so much more left on the menu for us to try, I would absolutely refrain from recommending the steak. The flavorless plate was just not worth the 42 bucks.

Yelp
Hangar 18 is a hotel bar located in the lobby of the Marriott LAX. The place is pretty big, but as the hotel it has plenty of people from every path of life walking up and down. We were lucky enough to get a table, we didn't eat only had drinks before going out "for real" Service was good, drinks were great but a little pricey. The place is totally worth it if you are staying at the hotel.

Yelp
Sports bar / Lobby bar Located in the lobby of the Hilton LAX the Hangar 18 is a fairly large bar / restaurant with a sports bar kind of theme going on. Great place to start or end the night and for me the convenience of grabbing some cocktails and not having to drive around was well worth it. The bar is fairly steady business-wise as the hotel is large, so there are always people coming and going. I was able to score a seat but the guy working back there seemed frazzled - a second bartender joined him about 15 minutes later and they got things back on track. A decent list of available wines and of course, a full service bar for whatever you libation needs are. The menu is fairly comprehensive and the portions were decent sized. I stuck with a few apps as I had dinner plans later so did not want to go all out. Met some interesting people while sitting there and to be honest, this is a great people spot - with so many people coming and going there is always someone new to talk with. Prices are hotel specific which is to say, on the higher side of things. You'll get what you paid for at the very least. Very good place to stop and catch your breath or to meet others before moving on to whatever the night brings. Give it a whirl if staying here.

Yelp
Wed. 10/1/2024 - dinner was easy. Food was good this time. We had the Salmon dish and the BBQ Short Rib burger w/ sweet potato fries dish. Service was pretty slow. I only saw one server taking orders and serving all the tables. So, you gotta be very patient eating here. Nice little restaurant in Marriott hotel.

Yelp
So we arrived late to the hotel and we had not eaten in a long time. They had two restaurants and this was open later so we came here. It's setup like a sports bar. We were told to sit anywhere and the waiter would come to us. We sat in a booth up front and the waiter came by to get our drink order. I just had an iced tea. I asked if the soup was still good since it was late and he said it was. I had to get it since I love soup. It was really good. I liked it a lot. I got the fish tacos and it was very good. The fish was a big piece in each. What a surprise for a hotel restaurant . My wife got the onion rings which were good. The food was good here and I would come back again.

Yelp
Other than a bit pricey the service is good (love Betsy) The food is delish. Tonight I had the steak. I often switch it up though. One of my favorite hotel bars

Yelp
A nice wide open restaurant located near the lobby of the Marriott Airport hotel. It has plenty of seating, big screens to view sports, and a nice bar if you prefer to sit at the bar. The Asian salad was just ok, nothing special, but a good healthy choice. The flatbread was very good, crispy on the edges, and a lot of pepperoni. Nice place to catch a bite, relax, and not have to rush around, before our long, long, flight the next day to South Africa!!

Yelp
We stayed here for 1 night and was hungry after a long drive back from Vegas. We split a salmon Ceasar salad was was $34. The salmon was very overcooked and dried out. It was on a smaller portion size. We also had an order of wings which again, was over cooked. I had an ice tea and soda water w/lemon. Overall, our total dinner was $90. I don't mind paying for GOOD FOOD. It erks my soul paying for mediocre food. Service was poor. And ambience is ordinary. Nothing special.

Yelp
We decided to grab a quiet bite and watch the hockey game (Panthers and Rangers). Panthers pulled it out and on to the Finals. The service here was fast, friendly and efficient. We enjoyed talking to our server. We had the mandarin salad with almonds, oranges, fried noodles and soy dressing. The dressing was a bit too sweet for my taste. We also tried the meat flatbread with sausage and pepperoni. Very tasty and plenty of sauce on the bread.

Yelp
I would have gave the spot a five, but there was an allergy mistake with one of my sandwiches. My table host was Cindy, she was wonderful. Made sure we had everything we needed. Got the big bacon burger, which was freaking amazing, the bacon was well cooked, the burger was cooked and seasoned well. The onion rings were crispy and went well with the burger. Also, got the NY steak sandwich without the sauces. However, unbeknownst to me or not mentioned on the menu is that they put mayo on the sandwich. Good thing i always check before biting into sandwiches. Cindy apologized for the error and quickly had a new sandwich made for me. I tell you the sourdough bread soaked up all the goodness of the steak juices, the steak was cooked to perfection the o ions and peppers held their own amongst all of the goodness, the crunchy onions added a nice touch to the sandwich too!!!

Candice B.

Yelp
The food was disappointing. The sliders were simply frozen chicken strips cut into thirds. The salad consisted of a pre-packaged bag salad. The wings were excessively salty, and the sweet potato fries were burnt and cold. Our waiter was very nice.
google avatar

Nathan B.

Yelp
I went to Hangar 18 Bar + Kitchen and I was very impressed and satisfied with everything. Firstly, it's in a good location, just inside the hotel. You choose your own seat which I thought was pretty nice. Inside, the ambiance is pretty nice and not too loud. I had the sweet potato fries, calamari, pizza, and chips. Everything tasted amazing. My only complaint is that it took a long time for the food to come out. Other than that, it was amazing!

Yelp
I was torn between giving this place 3 or 4 stars. The price for each dish is pretty costly, but that's expected for a hotel restaurant. I ended up getting the cajun chicken sandwich and subbed the fries for a salad. The salad was tiny! Probably four leaves of lettuce lol. I was worried about the Cajun chicken sandwich, mostly because of the other reviews. I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken wasn't too dry, but the sandwich definitely lacked Cajun spice and flavor. The only flavor that really stood out to me was the butter on the grilled bread. Not a bad flavor, mind you! The booths have outlets available, which could be really nice if you have to do some work. There are also outlets by the bar, in case you want to get a drink. There are TVs everywhere, so it's a little overstimulating, but pretty standard for a bar. Cindy was the waitress who helped me out. She was friendly, but service was pretty slow. It definitely seemed that they were understaffed, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy at all. I basically spent almost $40 for a sandwich. Womp womp.

Yelp
My wife and I were staying overnight at the Marriott LAX and decided to grab a bite in the hotel. There was only one waiter but he was working his butt off. We were waited in fairly quickly but because it was busy the food took a while. We split the bacon cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly and tasty. But just the burger and two sodas were $50 with tip. Not sure I would go back but if you need to grab a hide in a hurry it's ok
google avatar

Monica M.

Yelp
Very disappointed, sat there for 15 minutes with nobody coming to serve us. No one asked if we were waiting to order. They looked at us twice. Two different servers and walked past us. Never greeted us. I'm very disappointed as I was celebrating a very special event. I was looking forward to this, but I do not recommend. They obviously don't need our business. They walked past us several times and never once greeted or said do you need any help? We sat and waited for 15 minutes walked out and still nobody even noticed.

Yelp
Average bar/restaurant located in the Marriott at LAX. Restaurant is really a sport bar with some tables. On football nights the restaurant is pretty busy with mostly hotel guest. Seats can be had at the bar or tables- first come, first serve. As for food: food is typical bar food. Nothing exciting or offensive. You will find hamburgers, chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, salads and a variety of appetizers. The salads on the menu are not big so may not be sufficient for a meal. The Cajun chicken sandwich was decent. And the restaurant is good about substituting items. There are also a variety of desserts on menu. And of course. as it's a bar you can get whatever you want to drink. Good that they can make a tart margarita, not one super sweet.
google avatar

Shawnee B.

Yelp
Super solid option if you're staying at the Marriott and don't feel like leaving for food. The menu is pretty extensive and has a lot of good staples. The bar is pretty large with a lot of draft options and fun cocktails. The bartenders are always so nice and efficient. Of course it's hotel prices but you pay for convenience.
google avatar

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Three words. Expensive hotel food. Yes, that's pretty standard to any hotel you go to but my experience today at the Hanger 18 Bar + Kitchen was far below average. I decided to order a medium bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato tater tots in substitute for fries which is a $4 additional charge. When I got my food, I received a burger with onion rings. I told the waiter that I didn't order onion rings to which they told me that they ran out of tater tots. I understand it's possible to run out of things, but I do wish I was asked about my side choice instead of being forced to eat whatever was chosen for me. Especially since this burger was running almost $30 at this point, I would have rather had a choice in what my side item was. In addition, I asked for the burger to be done medium to which it was prepared well done. Water was barely refilled, and overall it just left a poor taste in my mouth. For how much I paid, and the experience overall, I would've been better off going to In and Out and getting a better quality item for more than half the price.

Yelp
Nice that this place is open till after 11PM (last food/drink call around 11:15pm) Midnight in Austin cocktail was good. I really liked the chamoy and tajin....even ate my steak with it hahahaha gastronomic pleasure!! As far as prices, pretty expensive for the quality. NY steak was a bit chewy for $33 + tax + tip

Yelp
Funny that my client had an event at Hilton LAX, but our team mostly walked over to JW Marriott for meals. After dining at the steakhouse the night before, I was excited to try Hangar 18. There were several groups from the conference eating here, but it seemed like the wait staff was experienced with lunch chaos. They were quick, friendly, and efficient. I ordered a dirty martini and Frank's Hot Wings. My mouth is salivating just thinking about that meal. Even though the wings were theoretically nothing special (bottled hot sauce atop chicken) the dish was still cooked perfectly. Fresh, meaty, crispy. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals, and we were able to make it back in time to the other hotel for our event. Thank you to the staff at Hangar 18 for making it happen!
google avatar

Terry K.

Yelp
It's a bar in a hotel... what more can I say? But a place to stop in for a quick snack or a quick beverage or both. Here is my story: We were staying at the Marriot sister property across the street. But there was no eatery here. Across the way in the Marriot Hotel is the Hangar 18 where we chose to go. For one, it was rather late and two, all we wanted was a night cap after a filling meal. Hangar 18 makes up part of the lobby. there is a U shaped bar and a few 2 and 4 tops scattered about. I had a glass of wine. Easy right? Just pour it from the bottle. My travel mates ordered simple basic drinks. Why? Because it was late and they were getting ready to close leaving us with their "last call". Kudos to the employees of that particular night's shift. They were cordial and accommodating even as they close their facility. Yup; if I'm ever staying by the airport and its a Marriot, I know where to go!!!
google avatar

Rhett R.

Yelp
Ate here when staying at this Marriott that this bar is located in. The food is expensive I will give them that, but it was tasty and we had no complaints. The grey short haired bartender can make a mean old fashioned.

Michael T.

Yelp
It's a hotel bar with hotel bar prices. Nice place with lots of TV's for watching games. Good service with prompt delivery of your order. Fun place to hang out and meet people.
google avatar

Lorenzo L.

Yelp
Incompetent service, lack of customer service, poor time management. If you got time to kill then it's a good place. If you have a flight to make, forget about it
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
This is the sports bar restaurant at the LAX Marriott. Even though it connects to the lobby bar space, the food and comfortable seating area is located here. The Turkey BLT sandwich is a great choice that comes with a side of chips or fresh French fries. Service is decent, not outstanding, but enough of attention to demonstrate that the server wasn't ignoring you. They do validate parking for up to 3 hours if you park your car in their self parking lots.

Randy K.

Yelp
This restaurant at the LA Marriott was OK. It was convenient, as we were staying at the hotel. The food was OK, not bad, but nothing special. Our server was very pleasant and friendly, but the service was slow. When we came into the restaurant, tables were a mess, covered with un-cleared plates. There was no one there to seat us. We had to ask to have a booth cleaned up for us. Prices were on the high side. Usually, service in a Marriott hotel is more attentive than what we experienced.
google avatar

G. G.

Yelp
Adriana gave the best service we ever had in the past year of dining out. What a memorable experience. We will be back just because of her!!!
google avatar

Eric P.

Yelp
Stayed in this hotel overnight before catching an early flight. Not a lot of options in walking distance so we decided to give this place a shot. Food is not bad. But it's a bit pricey for hotel food. Service was average. There were times when we waited for drink refills and condiments. If you are in a rush and need a quick bite, this place is not bad.
google avatar

D. H.

Yelp
This restaurant is the bomb! Great food and drinks and the staff is so helpful in their recommendations and suggestions. The hidden gem in this place is the Nutella doughnut! The best I've tasted!
google avatar

christopher w.

Yelp
Typical kind of hotel restaurant. Service was a bit slow even thought the weren't very busy. Booths are pretty cool with individual TVs if you have a game on you'd like to watch. Hours are good if you need a late night bite.
google avatar

Kenneth S.

Yelp
I would come to this location when it was called Champions back in the day. It has been a few years being back at the place and seeing the name change and look of the place. We came in on 12-3-21 and ordered the bacon burger with fries which was pretty good. Plenty of tvs now being transformed to a bar inside the hotel. Our server was Andrea and she was nice, professional and took good care of us. Looking forward to returning and trying different items on the menu.
google avatar

K L.

Yelp
Here for work, and this place doesn't have a very extensive menu which is fine but I just wished there were more options and the prices were more comparable. However, I will say that the wings was a good choice to get! Thanks to the advice from fellow yelpers, it helped me choose the item on the menu. I also got a side salad with their red wine vinaigrette...AMAZING! Again...thanks yelpers for the rec!! But -1 for the prices and small menu, but overall very good and attentive service and beautiful ambiance!
google avatar

Chelsea M.

Yelp
Over priced, bad service, and the food wasn't very good. I ordered the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and it was super dry. The chicken was overdone and there was no avocados, as described on the menu. The meal was disappointing, and so was the service. I couldn't get the bar staff's attention, I was left for almost an hour without anyone asking me if I needed anything, and I had to ask for a box three times so I could pack up the food I didn't eat and feed to the homeless. Terrible!
google avatar

Mike V.

Yelp
I never expect too much from a hotel restaurant, but this one was very good. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food came out in a good amount of time. I had the California Clam Chowder and Fish Tacos. The Clam Chowder was a red soup, and good. The fish tacos were also good. The hotel in general was a nice hotel and will go back to the hotel and restaurant when I stay in the area.

Rebecca R.

Yelp
It might be ok for drinks but the food was awful. We ordered hamburgers well done and the center was raw. The fries were cold and I had to ask for hot ones. Overpriced for what you end up with. Service was good though.
google avatar

PatrickJ T.

Yelp
It's not often that we choose to have dinner at one of the hotels we are staying in. One Saturday night, though, that is what we chose to do. Hangar 18 at the Marriott on Century Blvd. is one of the dining options at this hotel. We loved the fact that there were plenty of tvs around for us to watch our basketball game. The restaurant was larger than I imagined. Lots of seats. No wonder they were able to find a table for our party of 7 right away. Each one of us was pleased with our meal choices. My wife enjoyed her Organic Quinoa salad. I was happily surprised with how yummy my Roasted Cauliflower and Shrooom Flatbread was. Overall, it was a nice experience at Hangar 18. From the delicious food to the good service, I can say that chances are good that we would return again.

James H.

Yelp
Los Angeles, California. The Hanger 18 Bar and a kitchen is inside of the Marriott within eyeball view of LAX. It was very busy when my wife and I visited on a Wednesday night at around 6:30 p.m. We were greeted quickly and warmly and given our choice of seats, which we appreciated. Our server was mostly attentive. The restaurant has a sports bar feel, with large screen TVs playing MLB baseball playoff games. The restaurant is an open concept to the lobby. It was a bit loud and hard to hear with the number of patrons and loud volume of TVs. The reason this place gets a one is the food. My wife and I both ordered chicken vegetable soup. The flavor of the broth was fine, but the rice was a bit crunchy and the soups were NOT hot at all. I just ate mine, but my wife sent hers back to be heated up. My wife only ordered soup. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Again, not hot! The fries were room temperature as was the burger. I wanted my burger medium, but it came out well done, which made it dry. The burger patty was not hot and the bacon on the burger was literally cold, as if it was taken right out of a chiller or refrigerator. There was a JW Steakhouse in the Marriott as well. Should have went there. Bottom line is if a restaurant cannot get any of its food out hot then it's not worth my patronage. I can handle an item maybe being room temp, but not the whole meal. My recommendation to anybody considering this place is to think twice and explore other options.
google avatar

Franco M.

Yelp
The Reuben sandwich was very tasty. Only complaint was the bread was pretty soggy. Also tried a bit of their fritos nachitos and Bavarian pretzel appetizers which were both tasty. While the food was flavorful, the service could be improved. Waiting service wasn't very attentive and didn't clear the table even after asking them to do so. The food was good though so not a deal breaker for me. The atmosphere and decor here was nice. Pros: + Reuben Sandwich + Fritos Nachitos - Bavarian Pretzel + Nice decor Cons: - Inattentive service
google avatar

Marcus D.

Yelp
Good food and service. It's pricy but it is at an airport hotel so pretty much expected. Located in the Marriott, lots of big screen tv's to watch sports which was nice. The large buttered pretzel was good but was it worth $14? Had the Asian chicken salad which was good. Intended to go to the JW Steakhouse but wasn't sure how good the steaks would be in the $60+ dollar range for two. Hanger 18 was a safer bet.
google avatar

The Waterboy ..

Yelp
Boy oh boy this is the spot this account was made for! Sat down, did have to ask for the water but it's fine. That water was dropped and drank, before I asked... boom refill. Drank halfway... boom refill. Drank a quarter... boom refill. The refills never stopped the water was always cold and refreshing. Stellar work Hangar 18! Y'all bring that high quality H2O on the reg and I respect you for it. Burger was decent, not my favorite but I'd get it again. Price was a bit outrageous too. Salsa and queso should never be $14. For shame. Doesn't matter though, rating is purely for water service as always. 5/5
google avatar

Sleepless in San Jose H.

Yelp
Great food and great space. Service was good. Unfortunately, they did not provide a discount on my order despite using a Marriott credit card and staying at nearby Renaissance hotel. Price is fair for a hotel, decent value.
google avatar

Joshua S.

Yelp
This place is ok in a pinch but be prepared to spend cause they are pricey. The steak was good and tender but under seasoned. The potatoes were a bit underdone as well. The drinks here are way expensive, like insane expensive even for a hotel. The staff was friendly but inattentive. I won't fault them too much because it was busy but it was very noticeable. It is convenient though when staying at the hotel.
google avatar

Mrl G.

Yelp
Nice ambience good fries. Turkey blt, salty turkey. Sd fish tacos tasty but with puny little fishies and very underwhelming toppings. Expensive. Took 40 minutes for food to come out. Places like these just fuel you with rage.
google avatar

Christina D.

Yelp
It's a hotel bar/restaurant, but I've always had good food here, and service is friendly and attentive. I get the fish tacos a lot, which are delicious, but all of the food I've seen is delicious. They also make great cocktails, including themed cocktails for the convention I attend at the hotel.

Tyler P.

Yelp
Unfortunately bad food, super slow. Hate to complain but you'll be better off ordering delivery elsewhere and having a few drinks. It is what it is. Don't waste your money.

Heidi R.

Yelp
Their panzanella salad is not what you think. Instead of bread they use croutons that are grossly seasoned and the supposedly shaved onion is sliced red onion. It's like a garden or side salad. BIG disappointment

Yelp
The WORST fish taco I've ever had. Far from being worth 27 bucks!! Maybe 3 bucks. Waitress was nice. Very slow service. But the energy was upbeat. Our friends had the pizza tho it was decent.

Yelp
Good food, fast service. Only flaw is not a major selection of items. What we had was very good.
