"The original Hank’s Bagels opened in 2019 with a formidable selection of hand-rolled wares in Burbank, and owner Trevor Faris has since expanded to Sherman Oaks and Calabasas. The signature bagel sandwich is assembled with a crispy fried egg, maple-glazed bacon, sharp cheddar, tomato, and aioli. Other sandwich options include toppings like gravlax, scallion cream cheese, sopprassetta, tuna, and more. Bagels are also available loose or in custom-built sandwiches." - Mona Holmes
"A relative newcomer to the scene (they opened in 2019), Hank’s Deli in Burbank is all about the bagel sandwiches. Which isn’t to say their bagels aren’t good, it’s just that this place treats them like blank canvases. They cure their thick-cut lox in-house for their Number 3 sandwich, and serve it with heirloom tomatoes, pickled onion, and salted cucumber.
