"To commemorate the anniversary of last year’s Women’s March on Washington, restaurateur Jamie Leeds is rolling out specials on Saturday, January 20, across her family of restaurants. All Hank’s Oyster Bar locations are in on the action; there’s extended happy hour (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) at its new Wharf location; oyster specials in Old Town Alexandria and Capitol Hill; and discounts for pink “kitty” hat-wearing customers in Dupont Circle." - Tierney Plumb

We stopped for a drink at happy hour, but stayed for the oysters. Served on a cold plate with two sauce varieties: cocktail with horsie and garlic lemon, the happy hour oysters were of three locations: Virginia, Maryland, and Massachusetts. I liked the friendly ambiance and fish tacos (I had crispy, not soft tortilla) as the fish was not breaded and deep fried like so many places, but fresh and cooked, topped with avocado. The house white wine was flavorful for the happy hour selection. The salmon deviled eggs were quite tasty, and had a spicy kick. Just be careful, as the illusion of happy hour prices quickly -- nay, VERY quickly -- adds up to one significantly expensive happy hour outing.

Great little spot for brunch bite! We had a the deviled egg plate, beignets and shared the French Toast and all of it was fabulous. A little loud but likely because everyone was enjoying the bottomless mimosas 😂 Recommend that you give it a try!

Hank’s is a great spot if you’re in the Capitol Hill area for happy hour. The bartenders are super friendly and provide great drinks and fast service. Happy hour is only at the bar and customers who sit elsewhere will not be served from the bar despite how small the restaurant is. Get there early because the bar sitting quickly fill up.

The service, food, drinks, management was all beyond exceptional. I am absolutely beyond impressed. I will come here every time I come to town. Allison, you were fantastic! We had a 3 year old with us and they were so on top of making sure she was accommodated so that we could throughly enjoy our mean. Amazing!!

I love Hank's. I go there quite often for p The oysters, the entrees, and the drinks. Usually a good variety of oysters. Could use more oysters from New England and Eastern Canada though. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my meal here. The food, especially the oysters, was excellent. The drinks were good and the beer selection was very well chosen. The place has a great fun vibe and they were very friendly and welcoming.

I love it here. Great food and drinks and majority of the staff is welcoming. Some of the staff could use a little more enthusiasm. But for the most part, I never had an issue. Meals here are usually costly for both lunch and dinner but that's too be expected in Capitol hill. I used to go get often but I don't have the funds to eat here as often lol. My normal would be the $15 lunch special where I usually would get the Fish sandwich with greens and a drink(champagne). Then they have $5 drinks as well that will leave me feeling relaxed after a semi long day. I've had the Reuben that was absolutely delicious as well. I believe it is salmon Reuben and it's very good! Especially if you're a seafood lover. Give it a try. My recent order was an oyster poboy and it was super delicious. Costly but really dam good. I would definitely keep these 3 in my favs and go too.

Raw oysters were delicious. Fried oysters? Nom nom. Whiskey on the rock... one cut ice block which will last two drinks. It's crystal clear & melts slowly enough to enjoy your drink.
