Food was absolutely delicious! Highly Recommend the Ahi Tower & Parker Rolls to start. My Filet Mignon was flavorful. We enjoyed our mocktails. My favorite side is between the Mac & Cheese and the Corn crème brûlée. We also had carrot cake for dessert which was dense and not overly sweet. The entire staff was so kind. Our waitress Brooke took amazing care of us! Can’t wait to come back.

Hanna’s Restaurant & Bar continues to be one of the most consistently reliable dining experiences in Rancho Santa Margarita. We’ve been multiple times, and it is always the same—good food and great energy. What truly stands out is the service. It is consistently impeccable, every single visit. No matter how busy the restaurant is, we have never been disappointed by the level of attentiveness, professionalism, or care. The hostess team also deserves special recognition. Even on occasions when I’ve forgotten to make a reservation, they are always gracious, upbeat, and genuinely happy to find a way to fit us in. That welcoming attitude sets the tone for the entire experience. Overall, Hanna’s delivers exactly what you want in a go-to restaurant: consistency, quality, and exceptional service.

First time visiting this week for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! We were seated in the Wine Room and it felt very intimate. Emma was very attentive to us all night and had a great drink recommendation. Filet Mignon was cooked really well. Definitely will return.

As neighbors, we’ve always heard great things about Hanna’s Restaurant, but this was our first time dining here, and it definitely exceeded our expectations! The customer service was outstanding – the staff were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. I was there day 20+ years ago when he first opened. Been there hundreds of times from simple meals to back room parties. We have never been disappointed. Dave and his team are a template for epicurean perfection. Last night they were busy with an event, but our service was very good. I had the Branzino with Lemon Bur Blanc sauce. My lovely wife had the Wagyu Meatballs. She is still talking about it. Let’s go another 20 years.

Finally made it to Hanna’s after 7 years of living in RSM. It has that classic steakhouse feel but with a modern touch. We asked to sit out on the patio so we could talk and catch up since the main dining area near the bar was a bit too loud for us. I ordered the Burrata + Brussels to start. I really liked it, but my friend wasn’t a fan of the crispy Brussels leaves, she prefers them served whole. For my main, I had the Ahi Tower and thought it was delicious and just the right portion. She got the house salad and enjoyed it. Service was great, friendly, fast, and checked in on us without being overbearing. Overall, a great first visit experience. I’d definitely come back to try more of their other dishes.

Had a great time on Galentines 2/13/26 and our server was just amazing! Sebastian is caring and really exceded our expectations! He went out of his way to ensure we had the best time! Nice to know David Hanna continues to excel in his staff as well as food and beverages!!

Great meat and excellent service! I ordered the bone-in ribeye and some desserts. While I’ve had ribeyes that were even better, the quality here was still very good. I really liked that the sauces were complimentary. I tried the béarnaise and chimichurri, both delicious. Drinks were also on point. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu.

I only make it to Hannah's a few times a year but I enjoy every single visit. This is like a second office to myself and my coworkers. There is a great selection of food to choose from. My favorite is the Reuben and others really enjoy the Steak Sandwich. The Ahi Tower is also a big hit. Drink choices are also great. The have Wine Wednesday specials. Other days have other specials; can't remember them all. But the cocktails are not lacking if you're just looking for a quick drink. Happy Hour does not equal lowered or lessened ingredients. I've learned that on the drinking side. Careful there. Definitely a preferred and referred spot for a great meal with awesome service.

Pains me to do it but I think I finally had enough. I've been here's dozens of times over the years and despite their declining value and food quality I've always returned because it's still the best RSM has to offer. I recently walked in on a Sunday knowing it's typically a slower day with no reservation, I made it explicitly clear that I had two kids, one of which was in a stroller and would be happy to sit outside if need be. The hostess told me it wasn't a problem and that they would seat me in the wine room. 10 minutes passes and nothing, I'm watching multiple other parties get sat without wait. At the 15 minute mark she tells me my table is ready- a high top seat in the bar area- I point to the stroller and tell her that's not going to work and she goes back to the manager. After a few more minutes of watching them go back and forth I took the hint and left. Absolutely mindnumbing to think that in a down economy, you can treat somebody willing to spend over $200 on an above average meal like that.

This is my new favorite place to celebrate special occasions! We've been here several times now and each experience is just as special and remarkable. The food is absolutely incredible - from the fantastic bread flight, to the must-have brussels sprouts, and the decadent steaks. I've had a hard time not getting the filet every time we go because it's just so incredible and they cook it to perfection every time! While the food is reason alone to go to Hanna's, the staff and atmosphere continue to elevate the experience. All of the staff are very knowledgable about the food, can offer personalized recommendations, and are prompt to check on your table, refill water, and attend to your needs the entire meal. We've only come for dinner so far but I'm excited to experience even more. The vibe at night is perfect - it's darker inside with just the right amount of lighting. The music isn't too loud and the booths make it feel like you're still having an intimate dinner and not listening to all the other conversations in the restaurant.

I really can't believe I haven't reviewed Hanna's yet as we have been coming here for years and years. It never disappoints. Today I have the halibut and my husband had the pastrami sandwich. Both were amazing as always. We started with the tomato and mozzarella salad with pistachio and a little pesto. The service is always great here and the atmosphere is perfect for a lunch or dinner with friends or date night. We have done both. The butter cake rivals Mastros and today they gave me one for my birthday which was a nice touch. Keep doing what you are doing and we will keep on coming back. So nice to have you as an option out in RSM.

We went here on Friday night and it was a really good experience. The food was good and the service was great as well. Everything from the host to the waiter and when the bill came, it was a nice experience. The deviled eggs are amazing and the bread is ridiculously good. Three types of butter, thyme, cranberry, and spinach, cream cheese wow. My only beef is a seating arrangement. The right side of the restaurant is like a mini diner the left side you have super high tables and on the little Thanksgiving kids tables lol. But to summarize it all, we will be coming back.

Its been years and I still LOVE Hanna's! One of my favorite places to go, especially on my birthday! FOOD: The food is fantastic!! If you like steak, this is the place to have it! All their sides are really amazing as well! All the steaks I've had that are so amazing, but my favorite is the Ribeye. I also love adding chimichurri to it. The Truffle mac n' cheese is a must try! For an appetizer, the Burrata and Brussels is excellent! The Jalapeno Potato Au Gratin is stellar too! In short, EVERYTHING is delicious! SERVICE: Service is EXCELLENT EVERY TIME! I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Everyone is so friendly and goaobve and beyond when assisting us. AMBIANCE: You can tell its a high end place. It's very elegant.

Had an excellent experience at Hanna's! The food was fantastic -- perfectly cooked steak, great flavor, and generous portions. What really made the visit stand out was the outstanding service from Angel. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right from start to finish. Someone promote Ryan! We came in and asked to be seated in the back, super cute & cozy place. He took such great care of us, we asked for extra sauces and he delivered. He made great recommendations & I got the halibut & short rib tacos. My husband got the award winning cheeseburger. Had to finish it off with the warm butter cake. Nothing disappointed! Ryan made it worth a trip here!

We had a fantastic experience here. Service was so attentive! Food was incredible. Arancini and wedge salad were great. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides are sooo yummy. We loved the jalapeño potatoes au gratin. Good wine selection as well! One thing to mention is I LOVE that they use no seed oils! We will def be back. Recommend reservations as they were busy on a Saturday night.

TL:DR - great spot. Save your dollars and enjoy your meal! Service - impeccable. Waitress was spot with everything. Kimberley was awesome. Thanks for making the night great. Parking - lots of parking across the street so no worries Ambiance - if you can ask for room in back with all the wines. Much more intimate feel that makes a difference Food - stellar. Steaks were all cooked to perfection both ribeye and filets. Sides were garlic mashed potatoes, broccolini, Brussels sprouts and carbonara risotto. Risottto was a star - so yummy Bottom line: amazing meal.

Was here for my birthday and I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant. Although it was a bit noisy inside for my grandmother, but the hostess was nothing but accommodating with letting us sit outside where it was easier for my grandmother to hear. All the hostess and servers knew it was my birthday and made sure to tell me, and all of the staff was extremely courteous and very professional. Everything was phenomenal that we got on the menu, but the only thing I would not get again is the deviled eggs at least with our party, they were not a favorite. That's a great spot and you should definitely try it out for a normal dinner or even a special occasion.

Experience was great from beginning to end. Our server Sydney provided exceptional service all night, doing everything right. The food was also great! The steaks, the appetizers, the sides, the desserts. I felt the environment was very welcoming where every staff member wanted to make sure we had a great evening. I will definitely be back to support such a great restaurant!

One of our favorite restaurants! The owner Dave is so nice. The staff is phenomenal. Free corkage which makes us want to go there all the time. And when we don't bring wine, they give the healthiest pours. Cocktails are also amazing. Food is delicious. Only complaint is they got rid of the sourdough rolls they used to bring out to start with and switched to more of a Parker house roll situation. The sourdough rolls were so good, and free. But even if they weren't free, we would pay for those over the Parker house rolls. The were so much better. Their wine dinners are also so much fun and the food pairings are so delicious. Wish the wine dinners were at least on Thursdays, if not Fridays. But still so much fun. Overall huge fan of this restaurant!

The food here is always amazing. The service is great. Drinks are great. I remember during Covid they supported first responders and the goes a long way with me so I tend to choose coming here most of the time to support them.

Fantastic food! Ordered the filet mignon medium well and it was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside. The truffle Mac n cheese is to die for. Short Rib Stroganoff is also great! Even their sauces taste freshly made; I recommend trying them all. Casual lounge vibes and friendly service, will definitely come back!

We are on vacation and looked on yelp for food open til 11pm, and saw this place and decided to try it, and i'm SO glad we did. the service was great, the food was AMAZING. and we got desserts to take back to the hotel that were also delicious. it was a nice little spot and i liked the booth that was facing the tvs in the bar area so we could watch the game. we would definitely eat here again if we were in the area.

The ambience here is great. The service is also great. The food is very expensive but delicious. My steak always comes out perfectly cooked and the sides are an amazing complement to the star of the show. They have a great wine selection that keeps my wife and I entertained while waiting for our food. Despite the price I love coming here, it's definitely worth it.

This is one of our favorite restaurant!!! We do all events there! Birthdays & meeting with friends! We love introducing this restaurant to our friends as it is cozy and very private! They have 2 different atmosphere and rooms! One that is very casual and it consists watching football games and chilling out and one room that is more private and more reserved and formal... we are so in love with the food & drinks that they have and you can never go wrong on ordering! Their steaks are wonderful and perfectly cook and the special fried chicken that they have is so delicious! The service is always so wonderful there and we love Kim & Zack! I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT even if it is a little bit far it is so worth the drive and worth splurging now and then...

We went for our anniversary and overall the experience was good. We made a reservation and were able to be sat about 15 minutes early, which was nice. We were seated in a back room that had a lot of personal wine collections and it was a nice vibe. Our server was attentive and funny, and the food was delicious. Where I take away one star is the bar. It wasn't that the bar was bad, but I just expected more for the price point. I ordered a fig old fashioned that was missing the rosemary garnishment. Not a big deal, but as a cocktail hobbyist, it immediately stood out. The presentation was off and I suspect it was missing some of the intended aroma, however the flavor was excellent. Very smooth. I let our server choose my bourbon and he chose well. After the fig old fashioned, I ordered the blood orange spritz and it just wasn't good. The flavor was bland. It was just really disappointing and I regretted ordering it and not something else. But again, overall it was a good experience thanks to the food, service, and ambiance.

Grett experience . Food was amazing. The ahi tuna was very fresh. Service was amazing. Michael was amazing and very attentive. If you don't come you are missing out. Definitely will be back soon

My husband was stuck at work but his boss's neighbor's church buddy's financial planner suggested this place. He's a vegetarian just like me :) Wow!! This is one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. Each ingredient was well balanced, I did get it on sourdough bread though. The patty is made of black beans and corn but was thin enough that the flavors weren't overwhelming. My waitress, Ashley, was very cordial and understood I was on a mission for a good veggie burger. Ambiance is nice, has european vibes. I recommend eating in the patio.

Well, after a long break, I have gone back and truly enjoying Hannah's again. They seem to have a wonderful crew and the atmosphere is what it used to be.. I applaud Dave Hannah for the work he's done

Hannas never misses! We wanted to celebrate our 21st anniversary sans the kids but didn't want to go too far. My hub saw that Hannas added beef wellington to their menu and he wanted to try it as we've had it at other venues and it's such a rich special treat deserving of this special occasion. The Beef Welli did not disappoint! The meat was tender and flavorful and the pastry was perfectly cooked. It Paired well with the refreshing Peaches and watermelon salad. The personalized menus and complimentary butter cake were such special added touches by the staff.

Highly impressed! Went in with no expectations, and we were blown away. The food was perfect. Our server was so helpful and made the experience that much better. I will be taking everyone that comes to visit here.

We are Loyal Return Customers of Hannah's. This is a local gem. Ambiance is nice and very friendly attentive staff. Reservations were set well in advance. When we arrived we were seated in the far patio (left of the entrance) which, has changed since we were last there. We were freezing. They accommodated us and seated us in the enclosed patio (right of the entrance). Much better. Our Server was on-point with all the nights offerings. The Only complaint we had was the Sea Bass. It was "over cooked" and not the usual presentation of Sea Bass from what we're used to. Everything else was as good as always. Will Return! My top 3 criteria for restaurants are (1) Quality of food (why would you come to a restaurant if not for this?) (2) Service (I get enough crappy service when I cook for myself!) (3) Value (I want good food and good service but I don't want to overpay for them because I am stingy ) And Hanna's met ALL OF THEM! We came in on a Sunday afternoon so it's pretty busy. But we got seated right away and served drinks in no time. The menu has good variety (great salad selections, BTW) and out waitress was super sweet and efficient. We ordered the roast beef sandwich with mixed (potato and sweet potato) fries and the Santa Margaritas chopped salad. Both were great and good portion sizes. It was a hot day so we sat inside but they have plenty of patio (sidewalk) seating around the restaurant. The atmosphere was casual and cheerful. While it was a busy day for them, we did not have to wait long for anything! Prices are very reasonable for the quality and the good sizes! So definitely put this one on my favorite restaurant list!

We were quickly seated, our reservation was on time. Our booth had Anniversary menu's. We were greeted by Michael the Restaurant manager. He was very nice came and check on us occasionally making sure we were having a great experience. He told us Allie would be our server. Allie was so friendly and attentive. We came in to celebrate our 2nd year Anniversary and she amazing. The food was amazingly perfect! The filet mignon was cooked to perfection I asked butterflied and medium well. You can select your choice of sauce for your steak, I selected Bacon Gouda and I absolutely loved it. I really liked the carrots, too! The garlic smashed potatoes were very garlic for me, but it was also yummy. Everything was great! Highly recommend for birthdays, anniversaries, dinners and social gatherings. We will come back again! Thank you to the staff for making our night memorable.

First off, the service is excellent! Staff is friendly and attentive. We had both the Ahi Tower and Burrata Brussel Sprouts as appetizers. The Ahi Tower was the better of the two items, but both were really good. My wife loves the Beef Wellington! I ordered the Ribeye, very good and perfectly cooked to medium rare. I would prefer a little more marbling but it was still delicious. This is definitely one of our go-to spots when we want a nice dinner out.

We had a great first experience at Hannah's Steakhouse, which is why we were excited to return -- but unfortunately, this visit was disappointing from the moment we arrived. Our reserved table was dirty, and we were seated with the sun directly in our eyes. The table next to us had moved their umbrella, but when we tried to adjust ours for shade, we were told not to because it was unstable -- leaving us visibly uncomfortable the entire meal. We waited an hour and a half for our food, and weren't brought any bread or appetizers during that time. The salad was brown, which set a concerning tone. When the entrees finally arrived, the bone-in ribeye was overcooked, and the cheesecake was dry -- not what we expected, especially for a bill totaling over $300. We truly wanted this to be another great night out, but the service, food quality, and lack of attentiveness fell far short. We hope management takes this feedback to heart, because we know they're capable of better based on our first experience. But I won't be returning.

First time here and had a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious! I loved the extensive menu options. We started with lots of appetizers because I wanted to try them all. My favorite was the burrata Brussel sprouts! I have never had anything like it and it had such a great flavor! Highly recommend! For our entrees we both ended up getting filets and they were cooked exactly how we ordered them! They brought out all the steak sauces to try and they were all delicious! I ended up getting mine Oscar Style and would definitely do that again! We noticed they have a nicely covered outdoor patio that seems suitable for all times of the year! Love that they have lots of booth seating as well. We came during lunch hour and managed to get a table right away, but it does seem to be busy for weekend dinners, so definitely make a reservation! Overall I'd love to come back to try some more of their dinner entrees. Our service and food were amazing!

Everything was superb from the moment I got my ice cold ice tea. we started off with an appetizer of their calamari, which had a little red bell peppers, and Shishido peppers with a good marinara sauce and like an oldies sauce for the calamari was excellent and then we had the meatballs which I highly recommend comes with a side of bread that's just so delicious and then I had the prime rib sandwich and My Boyfriend had the Reuben. We definitely loved the service and the friendly staff became on a Friday afternoon which wasn't too busy but everything was quick and the service was outstanding. We can't wait to go back

The food was excellent, we got seated in front of the kitchen and requested a new seat which was much better. even though they moved us the atmosphere still a little love the loud side probably due to Location. I gave a four star because of the noisy atmosphere, and from the beginning, when the waitress asked if it was a special occasion my husband said yes, it is my wifes birthday today. we received the bill and paid and all received was a happy birthday from the waitress.It would've been nice to have a small birthday treat, but that didn't happen.

When you come for Tequila Tuesday and you not only get a delicious Blood Orange Margarita but the best Mexican Fries ever! Chase our bar tender was amazing

We've been going to Hannah since it was opened. It's always amazing but I have to say this last six months. I just feel special and I feel Hannah's is special and I feel Michael and Kelly make it just amazing to go into. And Chase it's just I wanna go there all the time I wanna be there. It's like family. We love you guys.

Wow, what an absolutely perfect dining experience! I'm blown away by the food and service. Our server, Zach, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. All around the staff was very warm and helpful; even the woman who was refilling our water was sure to check in on us when she passed by. Every single plate we ordered was of phenomenal quality. The calamari was so tender and seasoned expertly, the crab cake was meaty and delicious, and our steaks were cooked to perfection. My drink (the blackberry smash) was the best drink I've ever had a restaurant, and my husband enjoyed his Manhattan and Old Fashioned as well. We would definitely recommend this place for any special occasion, and can't wait to go back!

Short Review - Best steak of my life, service was spot on and Ryan (our server) right there when we needed him and just a jolly guy. Long Review If I am going to spend the kind of money that is spent these days for a steak then the experience better be GREAT. I mean, sure the food must taste fabulous but the experience must be something special. For starters, we went with shaved Brussel sprouts with burrata. Not something I have ever seen before and it was just what I wanted even though I didn't know what I wanted when I sat down. For the main course, my wife and her sister had the fillet and I had the special Halibut and risotto. It was perfect. (no, I think it was a little better than perfect! There are other places to get great a great meal, Morton's, Ruth Chris or Fleming's and I will go to them again, but when I am looking for something a little better than perfect, I am going to Hanna's. See you there.

Ambience - I've sat twice at the wine room and it's much quieter. Food - good. I enjoyed everything except the calamari. Loved the burrata and Brussels crostini and stroganoff Service - excellent. We were pleasantly greeted several times and I loved how they kept checking up on us. Our drinks were never empty. Price- pricey I would come again to try their other menu items such as their steaks.

So happy this steakhouse is available in South OC. Very few other options for a high-end steak place around here. Very good choices for different cuts of meat and also a good wine selection at reasonable prices. They also have special wine dinners every now and then for an even more special evening.

Had a wonderful lunch at Hanna's yesterday. The hostess was so nice and seated us at a nice cozy booth. Our server Zach was superb. Zach was thorough, kind, professional, and precise. We started with drinks and a cup of their amazing filet mignon soup. My wife ordered the organic chicken tacos, and I had the crunchy chicken salad. We also saw other amazing servers, and they stopped by to say hello. This restaurant is one of our favorites, and the staff here makes a huge difference as they are all kind and love people, and the food and drinks are stellar. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food and service! I found this place while looking for a place that could take a late reservation. It was the perfect spot where it was quiet enough for me to meet up with a friend that I hadn't seen in years. I highly recommend asking your server for their suggestions as mine provided top-notch suggestions! I look forward to meeting my friend at Hanna's again in the future!

Service was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. It was a group of 6 of us and we sat in the wine room.. felt VIP. It was Tito Tuesday so we got a couple of cocktails for $10 each. We ordered bread for the table and it was addicting. Came with 3 flavors of butter. I ordered the Sourdough Steak Sandwich with fries. 10/10 My wife ordered the Beef Stroganoff and said it was great. Would definitely come back again!

I don't know what was better, Ryan's mustache or the service he provided? Either way, he was the perfect waiter and was very attentive. We will definitely be returning!
