Hanoi Pho

I visited this restaurant last week, and the service was quick and excellent. The food was delicious, and the portions were so generous that I felt completely full after just the main course. Would come here again! 🫶🏽

We had a quick dinner on a Tuesday before going to a gig in the nearby Moth club. It was quite, only a few customers . The atmosphere was somewhat unremarkable, with a generic interior that lacked character, but the dining experience was still pleasant, and the food was delicious. We tried the pork skewers with satay sauce , the prawn spring rolls, and the special noodles. The skewers took 10 minutes to arrive, but they were cooked to perfection. The spring rolls were bursting with flavour, filled with succulent prawns and fresh vegetables. These two dishes overshadowed the noodles, which didn't seem as flavorful. Generally, Hanoi pho was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely revisit and get some more of their skewers. The service was excellent, attentive, and polite throughout.

Delicious food. Lovely, relaxing atmosphere. Calm and professional service. Not cheap! £65 for 2 mains, 2 starters and 2 cold drinks

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food here was amazing, very cheap price compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I used to eat. The handsome waiter explained how to eat them properly really well to me. Especially beef pho and Hue beef noodle soup here are really excellent compared to Green Papaya restaurant. I will definitely come back in the future. A great experience.

Used to be great but no more. Four stars for food but only one star for service. There really is no service and with only three tables in use and two staff we still couldn’t get served for over twenty minutes! In the end gave up trying to order more and left. Then the bill includes a service charge which would stop us returning…

This is my new favourite place for Vietnamese in London!!! No frills, lovely service and absolutely delicious, authentic food. The beef stew was gelatinous, hearty and super aromatic. The pork & spring roll bun was the best I’ve had, with lots of herbs snd pickled veg. I usually hate writing reviews…but this place really deserves it. I’ve been to SO many more average Vietnamese in the area who have much higher ratings. Come here - it really is the best!!! We’ll be back very soon! Thank you 🙏

The staff were friendly and the service was fast… the food was very good!I had the crispy pancake which was crispy on the outside and not oily at all (which I find in many other places) for main I had bun bo hue which was perfect, the both had lots of favour and the beef melts on in your mouth. The place needs updating but I found out they just took over the place so it’s on the list of things to do. Overall service and food 10/10 can’t fault it.. keep up the standard guys!!!!

Best affordable and authentic Vietnamese food. A bowl of pho is only roughly £10 which is v cheap for what you get. Great service with v charismatic waiter! I come here regularly and would say it's the best food compared to its competitors on mare street. Fyi, the pho has more Northern tastes (less sweet than Southern).

owner mgr. spoke some Cantonese as well 'cause when he spoke English n like most Brits, can go really fast @ times making me not understand wat he's saying.. I call it the passage when fellow Brits start out slow but n then when they really feel the conversation can go fast in the passage that I don't even understand.. (same can b said 4 us Americans n I can talk super fast).. but I rather n it was good I spoke 2 him in Cantonese n was surprised he knew some b/c he Vietnamese n was able 2 use some of the few words of Vietnamese that I know 2 communicate w/ him as well so Hanoi Pho Hackney I don't think so.. the pho doesn't taste like a pho broth; it is more of a regular noodle seasoned broth.. so it should b called beef in regular seasoned noodle The banh cuon needed more meat filling 'cause all I can taste is the rice n it need more flavor as well.. but good attempt So this area hackney is supposed 2 b where the Vietnamese r @ but owner claimed they come out 2 this area only on Sunday n I was like we gone by then; as well as, @ 1st was like where my Viets @? also, small restroom just like Europe 1s where my big arm almost broke the door when I was coming out

crab and sweetcorn soup - creamy and delicious. The music is terrible and the water feature is making me sprint to the loos but for a cheap side dish or starter it feels cosy and welcoming. Second time, I had the most amazing pho but is there a band rehearsing in the basement? Crippling loud base to accompany the restaurant playing 1D and Kesha on loop. The waiter just asked what I make of the water feature and was very sweet.

We chose this Vietnamese place last weekend as Green Papaya was closed. We ordered a Bun with nems (fried spring rolls) and a Phō Ga (Chicken noodle soup) - the people managing the place are really from Hanoi and the 2 dishes were excellent and quite the real deal as expected from a typical Hanoi joint. I will definitely go back to try other dishes.

Haven't dined in, but wouldn't bother should the opportunity arise. I base my judgements on their takeaway services. Food: bland and overpriced. Service: Just warm it up. Thanks for the tip, 40-min-late-delivery-man. Far better Vietnamese choices in Hackney elsewhere.

The service I received with this particular order leaves not only a bad taste in my mouth, but also a lot to be desired. After waiting 50 minutes and not receiving the food I decided to give them a call. I was told that they were very busy and that the food was on its way and should be with me in around 10 minutes. After another hour I decided to give them another call. I was told again that they were very busy and that the delivery guy had just left. The food then arrived 10 minutes later. After unpacking the food I realised that not only were there items missing but on top of that, everything was stone cold. The crispy pancake had gone soggy and was unappealing and the noodle soup had exploded from the container was swimming around in the bag that it came in. After a 2 hour wait, we were so very hungry that while we struggled through the cold food, one of my colleagues was left without. The food was actually good, I mean it would have to be after being authentic coming all the way from what seems like Vietnam. I then called the restaurant and explained the situation to the guy on the phone and he then put the phone down on me. I decided to give this one last shot and I called him back. After 3 or 4 minutes he finally answered. I was once again told how busy it was and if I had come in for lunch, the food would have been hot when it got to the table. I understand when it is busy, I work in hospitality myself, however 2 hours for takeout is actually ridiculous. The answer I got for the missing items was something along the lines of how busy they were and if we wanted food we should have come to the restaurant itself. If I would have been told when I originally called that it would take 2 hours I would have gone elsewhere. Instead I was lied to on 2 occasions, which just really isn't on. After asking to speak to a manager I was given the run around and the guy took my number to which he said that the manager would call me. I have yet to receive that phone call. I would not recommend this restaurant or take out service to anybody, in fact I would strongly discourage it.

Decided to try Hanoi Pho, placed an order online and food arrived super fast. Within about 25 mins. Why did it arrive so quickly? I guess because no sane person in London was ordering. The food was super greasy. Like wow I could have oiled door hinges with my golden chicken pancake. The soup was basically 80% water with 20% MSG such a disappointment. When paying £26 for two mains and a started I had really been expecting good quality food. I would most definitely avoid

We Been there last night :took 45 mins to get the start and 10 mins later to get the cold main course meal.music too loud next room karaoke .verdict : No Good! food and services was good before I came here . this new management no professional serve food to another clients came in after us .owner must see to change

I seriously doubt the authenticity of the positive reviews of this place. I ordered from there at 8.20, phoned after an hour and was told my food would be 15 minutes. An hour later I phoned again and was told that they were cooking my food now so that it would be hot. Then I asked why I'd been told it would be 15 minutes an hour before and they said I don't know. It's up to the chefs when they cook the food. We've got lots of customers in. After being offered a discount and free extra, I agreed to maintain the order, which would be with me in 20 minutes. After 40 minutes I decided to contact Just Eat and cancel the order. They spoke to the restaurant who claimed the food was on the way, but agreed to cancel and refund the order, which seems highly unlikely as I think they'd only do that if they hadn't got round to making it. Annoyingly, and ridiculously, Just Eat don't allow you to review cancelled orders, so their site will have no record of this restaurant's ineptitude. Hopefully others will have a quick look here before ordering! The most annoying thing of it all is the being lied to. If they'd told me originally they couldn't fulfill the order, it wouldn't have been a problem. As it is I'm left without having eaten at 11 at night!
