18 Restaurants Open for Late-Night Food Around Atlanta

"Pocha is short for pojangmacha, meaning “tented wagon” or a Korean street food vendor. Han Shin mirrors the feel of a Japanese izakaya with warm woods, rows of tables, and small dining huts surrounding the perimeter inside. It’s great for late nights, beer, soju, small bites, and karaoke. Try the smoked pork slices with bean sprouts or the budae jjigae (“army soup”) made with ham, sausage, baked beans, and kimchi or the spicy kimchi hot pot. Open until 2 a.m. most nights." - Eater Staff

Finally got to try the chicken feet dish and it did not disappoint. It is SUPER spicy however. So don’t get it unless you can handle the heat. We originally ordered a side of rice to go with it but ended up also getting fries to eat with it which in my opinion was so much better and helped cut through the heat. Also ordered the seasnail dish and didn’t realize it’s a cold noodle dish but it was delicious as well and much less spicy. The staff were super friendly and attentive. We also went on a Thursday night at 8pm and the restaurant was quite empty. Perhaps it was too early or not a weekend. I would definitely try to go back. If I can bring more friends(only 2 people this visit) that would be better because all the dishes are big and meant for sharing.

Tried Korean place for the first time with my friend. She placed the order since she knew about this place and its menu. This is casual drink and food place. The environment is laid back and chill. The staff is friendly. They have very nice seating areas. There are enough private sections for the customers to sit and enjoy. They also have regular open table seating arrangements. I tried soju for first time and it was bit hard for me. The chicken was on sweeter side. I loved the seafood soup, we also got udon noodles added to it. The service sector has scope of improvement. My friend had to leave 3 times in the middle of having food to get napkins, forks and even for payment at the end. There weren’t enough check-ins. But overall I liked the chill vibes and it’s nice place to have conversations privately.

This place is amazing! The staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and most importantly, the Korean food is absolutely delicious. Not only did the adults enjoy every dish, but even the kids loved everything on the menu!

Came around 11:20 PM and was seated right away. We ordered the stir-fry bulgogi with udon and the spicy teriyaki chicken with cheese. Great portions and good flavor! Just a heads-up—that specific dish (spicy chicken) is hella spicy. Cute little spot overall, and I’d definitely recommend it for the younger crowd. Also Wednesday night is ladies night and you get half off!

A Korean pocha experience is what you’re looking for in Duluth and Hanshin has it in spades. The vibe is upbeat and lively (keep in mind it’s best later in the night when the dim lighting and K-pop/Korean hip-hop is on full blast) and the patrons are just there to drink, eat, and chill. It’s like a slice of late-night Korea right here in Gwinnett. The food was spot on for a pocha. Lots of spicy stir-fried dishes, fried items, and stews all super savory and meant to be shared. They’re also perfect for pairing with soju and beer. Lots of dishes are big enough to share with a group. Drinks were good value and the traditional soju cocktails are a must. Service is still great during peak times, especially in a bar environment where the staff is likely slammed. Employees are generally friendly and efficient and once your order comes out, it’s worth the wait. Overall, it’s a fun spot if you’re looking for a low key, high energy, drinking and dining experience with your friends. It’s loud, so come hungry, bring a group, and plan to stay a while. It’s not for a quiet bar crawl but that’s really the whole point.

All the food at Hanshin Pocha is delicious, but the boiled pork served with mung bean sprouts and the potato pancake are seriously the best. They are even better than my mom’s cooking. 😅 The servers are always kind every time we visit, and I love that they play popular Korean songs from the 1990s. 😎

Hanson Pocha is amazing. Delicious, open late, and really authentic if you want real Korean food. It’s one of the only places that can scratch the itch after having lived in Korea a few years. If you want to eat the kind of food you’ll really gorge on in Korea and not just another dolsot bibimbap; this is the place. Portions are large, some come hungry and with friends. Also shout out to Michael, one of the servers. He is great! 여기가 최고의 식당이에요!

I had a great time visiting this place and enjoyed the food. I also loved the decor and layout since it transports you to a South Korean bar/restaurant (if you’re into k-dramas). The staff were very kind. You can have a nice time with family and friends by trying different plates. Keep in mind that the amount of the plates is meant to be shared and they have a generous portion. So be ready to enjoy the food. They also have a karaoke so you can also have fun singing some songs. I highly recommend this place and will definitely comeback.
