"An owner-chef with over 20 years of experience in French cooking opened this 20-seater specialising in just 12 noodle soup items, each with a specific soup base and topping. The signature flat noodles in beef soup with Sichuanese beef cheek and French-style braised oxtail takes two days to make, involving eclectic techniques. The dessert menu is equally impressive – try the all-natural sorbets made in-house with fresh fruits." - Michelin Inspector

Nice restaurant in Tai Wai. I ordered the bowl with shiitake, chicken leg mushrooms, crispy tofu sheet, black fungus, kelp soup and flat noodle, and it was pretty tasty. Make sure you bring cash because they don't take digital payments.

好湯好麫 is one of the best noodle soup spots you can find in Hong Kong! I tried both the 西班牙火腿 and 海龍皇湯, and they were absolutely delicious. The soup base is truly out of this world—rich and flavorful like nothing else. Just a heads up, it’s best to go early on weekends to avoid the long queues. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite tiny, so it’s not the most comfortable place to dine in, and the noodles are on the softer side. But with soup this good, it’s totally worth it!

Menu serves variety of broth base with different toppings. Each order took awhile to serve. Noodles are pretty expensive while portion is relatively small. 4 of us out of 6 still felt hungry after finishing a bowl. Beef, chicken and seafood base broth were quite oily. Beef one was too beefy and strong. We all didn't enjoy much considering not filling and overrated. P.s air conditioning wasn't cool at all which the whole dining experience was overwhelming especially it was 34 degrees out there.

Generous portions of unique ramen dishes. Served piping hot, lots of ramen, rich broth. Perfect stop for us after hiking at Shing Mun Reservoir. Lots of noodles - one bowl was too much for my two kids (4 and 7 years old). For the dish we ordered our young kids, they accommodated our request to swap out the abalone for additional char siu (suppose that's a no brainer 😅). Some staff more "gentle" than others, but the lady proprietor was very friendly and English-conversant. English-friendly menus available. For a casual eatery and the neighbourhood, very clean and bright - seems to be (relatively) recently renovated. Upstairs and downstairs seating. It's a small space, so probably easiest to get a table for 2-4 people. We were 6, and initially sat separately, but they put us together once other patrons left.

The broth is super rich and they definitely give you a generous amount of food for the expensive price. You get what you pay for! We tried the 黑口黑面 black ink noodle and the 海龍皇湯 seafood noodle. They were both very delicious and perfect. We came on a Tuesday around 2:30pm and got seated right away. We will definitely come back and I recommend everyone to try if they like a rich soup noodle with fresh seafood ingredients. The noodles is not chewy but it is cooked to the right texture not too soft or too hard. The environment feels clean and they have upstair seating too. The staff is super friendly and professional.

Always a good place for noodles No queue on Sunday night around 830 pm I was kinda shocked. Finished the whole soup, but the pork is a bit fatty this time. Lots of crab meat tho, valuable one for sure.
