This place is a hidden gem! I've been craving musubi ever since my trip to Honolulu. This place has satisfied those cravings! It's best to order ahead (days in advance) and pick up the day of. They only open on Fridays and Saturdays.

Google
Found this place while searching for a musubi spot. I ordered online on their website and it said it would take 30 minutes. I was in the area so I went straight over and my order was already ready, about 10 minutes. I ordered the 3 different musubi, shrimp tempura, pineapple and spam, and California. They were all so good and at extremely reasonable prices. My kids even liked them. I'm sad I'm just finding out about this place after COVID made them close their spot downtown. So now they are only open 2 days, Friday and Saturday. I will definitely be back.

Google
Hard to see small shop inside a parking lot that sells different musubis. Not the cheapest musubi but they are very well put together and you can tell care was put into the presentation. Currently no dine in options and there's online ordering available if you want to do pickup. Chicken katsu musubi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: the pickled cabbage was a really nice touch that added some acidity. Chicken was well cooked and was juicy. Shrimp tempura musubi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: actually a fair amount of tempura shrimp and it was also well cooked and the unagi sauce was a nice touch.

Google
A good quality Musubi is sooo underrated and Hapa provides deliciousness seaweed wrapped sandwiches? (is it technically a sandwich?) So we ordered a variety of different musubis: Cucumber & Spam, Chicken Katsu, & the original Spam.... all of which tasted delicious and would order it again! @phidingthefam

Google
Delicious food and good service. My favorites were the spam and egg, and California roll musubis. Edit: came back and tried their loco moco and ono mix box. Both were really good as well!

Google
The Food Musubi is a pretty popular quick snack found in most Hawaiian restaurants. But it is uncommon to have a location that specialize in the snack, until Hapa Musubi opened. They specialize only in musubi, a simple Hawaiian and Japanese influenced meal. With a variety of options, I got several to try. - Chicken Teriyaki - Pineapple & Spam - Chicken Katsu - Cali Roll They were all pretty good, but I liked the Cali Roll and Pineapple & Spam the best. There are still quite a bit of other options so I'll need to return to try the others. The Miscellaneous Hapa Musubi is within the shops of downtown, so getting by foot will be easier than by car. The inside is not big, but there are seating for those who want to sit down for a bite. The interior have quite the coloring and aesthetic, along with, quite literally, a wall of spam. They have a good selection of musubi to choose from, along with some side items. They prices are not bad, though I wish they were lower, it reasonable for downtown. Definitely recommend to give it a try if you are around the area.

Google
Randomly discovered this place while looking for places to eat on Google. We ordered the chicken katsu, original, and spam with egg musubi along with the garlic shrimp rice place. The food is amaaazzzing! Really brought memories of Hawaii. Pro tip: order food on their website for pickup. It's much easier and convenient than ordering in person.

Google
Oh man, I ate four different Musubi: Shrimp Tempura, Teriyaki Chicken, Chicken Katsu and Bacon, Egg & Spam. They were all good, but I really enjoyed the Teriyaki Chicken Musubi the best. I have more, but I'm now super full. An average person will probably be full from eating two, but I love these,so I went all out. Worth it!

Yelp
Hapa Musubi is amazing and I highly recommend trying all of their different flavors!! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food.

Yelp
This is definitely one of the best authentic Hawaiian food that you can get here in the Bay Area. They work in a ghost kitchen, which means it isn't a restaurant. You order through their website and select a time for pickup. They only operate on Thursday-Saturday with time slots for pickup being very limited. I recommend ordering at least a week before you plan to pickup because there won't be available times if you order the week of. Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp: I am so amazed by how this tastes. Those who have went to Hawaii, this is the closest thing to Giovanni's Shrimp Truck in Hawaii. The shrimp is cooked to perfection and there is TONS of garlic. This is a must get!!! Original Spam Musubi: Great meat to rice ratio. They put big pieces of spam inside so every bite is flavorful. The spam is cooked with a tangy sweet sauce, which is how it is supposed to be everywhere. Chicken Katsu Musubi: The chicken is so tender! Skin of the chicken is crispy and the pickled cabbage tops it all off. The cabbage gives a nice crunch and refreshing taste to balance out the fried taste with the chicken katsu.

Yelp
Was looking for a place to get lunch and happened to see that this place was open. It's only open for limited hours on Friday and Saturday at the moment so I wasted no time in ordering. I did an online pickup order but they didn't have a QR code on the pickup if you wanted order it there (although I recommend just ordering online beforehand) The garlic shrimp was very flavorful and and a good size. Tried the chicken katsu, pineapple and spam, and egg and spam musubi which were all decent but favorite had to be the egg and spam. Definitely a good option if you're looking for a quick and lighter takeout lunch. It's a shared kitchen concept restaurant so there's no dine in. Parking spots in front of the storefront that has a "the Kitchen" sign.

Yelp
Hawaiian favorites in a Ghost Kitchen, so excited to find out about Hapa Musubi. You have to preorder and pickup from the location, no in person dine in and take out. They do rotations of special menu items for Friday, always some kind of Hawaiian inspired dish. Hawaiin Garlic Shrimp: One look at it and you know the inspiration was Giovanni's. Grilled whole shrimp in butter covered in garlic with rice and lemon for dressing. Tasted great and enjoyed it 4/5. There were pools of butter on bottom of the tray that did not look appealing visually but you don't eat it. POG juice: Passionfruit, orange juice, and guava. Whole family enjoyed this and it went really well to chill the garlic out from the garlic-shrimp plate. Musubi: I love spam musubi and went crazy trying all their variations. We got spam and kimchi, egg, cucumber, and original. Also got the chicken katsu musubi. We tried eating one as-is and thought there was too much rice in the musubi, it tasted much better with 50% of the rice removed so you get a more even amount of rice+filling in each bite. The plastic wrapping for each also had a very delicate little pull tab that would rip off without unpeeling the whole package.

Yelp
Was really excited to try this place but unfortunately it fell short of my expectations, it's located in this industrial plaza that looks like it's a parking lot for a factory or something, they also share the space with a dessert restaurant which confused the heck out of me at first since the dessert place had their QR code displayed very clearly, the QR code for Hapa Musbi is taped to the table by the door actually. The prices are a bit high considering the size IMO, and there is also a pretty long wait to get the food. The food wasn't BAD but for the price I expected it to be a bit better and bigger.

Yelp
We were driving through town and was looking for some snacks. Hapa Musubi popped up on my map. Location is not retail but inside a warehouse near VTA. You have to order online which was fine as we only waited 10 minutes. Everything was piping hot as it was made to order. It was so good! We ordered the tofu katsu, Cali, and chicken katsu. Wished it was a little bigger or maybe full square! Will return to try other fillings. They share this location with a pastry business as well!

Yelp
I can't eat spam so I ordered the Kalua pork plate. Comes with one standard musubi, which I swapped out with colleague for a chicken katsu version. I didn't care for it, but I will like to try the CA roll version next time. The kalua pork was moist but not greasy and not drenched in sauce. Comes with rice and cabbage to make a full meal with various flavor profiles. Right priced, and easy.

Yelp
Just like Hapa Musubi's business itself, so much has changed since I first tried Hapa Musubi. It was shortly before the pandemic where they had a storefront and I got to take pics in front of the You Had Me at Aloha Sign and all those Spam cans on the wall. The next was front door pickup at the same location, then from a shared kitchen like so many businesses that have changed their model. Then came their closure. But like true Hawaiian fashion, it is not good-bye but until we meet again and they have reopened at the shared kitchen What has not changed is their delicious musubis that has a good amount of filling and not just a lot of rice filler. Having tried pretty much everything at least once following them whereever they went, we have narrowed down our faves to the chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, and traditional spam and egg. The garlic shrimp, although tasty, was way too oily as a musubi and would be better off as a plate lunch.

Yelp
I could not find this place for the life of me. I kept thinking my gps was taking me to the wrong spot. I circled around so many times but I kept ending up in some odd industrial area. If you think you're in the wrong spot, then ur absolutely on track! If you see large trucks, a couple of big rigs and strewn lumber then you're there. Just walk towards the store fronts and you'll see it. I couldn't get a photo of the musubis because I started to scarf them down before I could get into my car. Ordered the kimchi & spam/egg. Both delicious. I was a big fan of the kimchi flavored one. Definitely getting that again. Also ordered the garlic shrimp plate. Shrimps are huge. They were nice and meaty, and they certainly don't skimp out on the garlic. I'll be returning shortly to try the other flavors on the menu.

Yelp
YUM! I always hate it when the spam musubi is full of rice with a little bit of stuff, but these are definitely not the case! I would recommend to order online since it's one of those kitchen places where they have multiple vendors. The people at the front were super friendly and let me know that I can either order at the counter or online, and I went when it was close to closing time but I still got my order really fast. I love the spam with the hapa sauce, and I think the shrimp tempura was my favorite. Will definitely come visit again!

Yelp
They have one more weekend in operation before they close for good. It's so sad to see this awesome musubi place go :( They prepare the musubi fresh so it was hot when we picked it up. Chicken katsu was still so crispy and warm when I had it at home. Spam musubi was also so tasty and savory. I'll definitely visit next weekend for more musubi before they close!

Yelp
Yummy Musubis!!! Been wanting to try this place for quite some time now and it didn't disappoint. Between the fam, we each had 2 and there was not a grain or rice left. In order of our favorites: Pineapple and Spam Musubi (5/5): Hands down the favorite for all of us; a classic musubi with pineapple?! The pineapple pairs so nicely with spam! Chicken Katsu Musubi (5/5): this was a super close second for us. A juicy piece of katsu chicken with pickled cabbage and sauce. Another great combo. Seaweed Musubi (3.5/5): not sure what the kiddo was thinking when he chose it. I think he thought there would be spam in there. It was...refreshing, but he wanted meat in there LOL Overall, the flavors all came together so nicely! We loved it. It was made fresh too - all nice and warm when we picked up our order. Can't wait to go back. And next time I think I'll pick up a bottle of POG too.

Yelp
Woohoo! I had Hapa Musubi when it was in downtown San Jose and thought it was delicious! The store changed from selling individual musubi to catering. You'll need to order a minimum of 60. I added the menu here. I recommended my friend to order Hapa Musubi for her son's outside birthday party and the musubi was super flavorful and a hit for guests! I really enjoyed both the egg and spam musubi as well as the California musubi. Highly recommend for future catering and the packaged musubi makes it easy for everyone to grab their own and makes it more COVID safe.

Yelp
This is one of the few musubi places in the Bay Area. They have limited hours they are open for and since we weren't going to arrive until almost closing time, I placed the order online. (I do recommend doing this anyways since there is no dine in option and your order will be ready by the time you get there). Tap the bell on the table at the door to get their attention. We tried a few kinds (original spam, spam and egg, and chicken katsu). All were delicious, but particularly the chicken katsu. Prices ranged from 3.25-4.75 each. Roll up and park in one of the designated spots (there are only a few spots, but it's really meant as a pickup and go place) Process was easy and it will be one of the spots I drop by when I am in the area.

Yelp
Make sure to order online as they only do online pick ups! The place is shared with 2 other businesses and the store itself is tucked inside a warehouse and not a normal store front. Even with google maps giving me directions I almost missed the turn because I didn't realize it was in an industrial warehouse.. Musubis are packed individually and if you order multiple it'll come in a pink box! Tried the chicken katsu and spam + egg musubi! Enjoyed both of them. The katsu was still slightly crispy and the sauce and veggies that came with it made it delicious! This one was definitely my favorite. Also tried the loco moco bowl with Mac salad (you have to upgrade to get the Mac salad). The bowl was small and the taste was average. I personally would skip on their bowls and just order musubis.

Yelp
Soooo, my kiddos love musubis. This is what they will choose to eat everyday when vacationing in Hawaii! I didn't know about Hapa Musubi til I ordered EatOn Monday which is operated out of the same kitchen in Milpitas with 43&company desserts which is what led me overall to this packed kitchen pushing all kinds of goodies out! I was intrigued when I saw the display sign so looked them up. It's made to order so you can't just drop by or walk up to get some. They need 30 minutes to prep so while standing there waiting for my EOM order, I placed an order for 5 different ones to try out. Funny enough - the Kids favorite of the 5 ordered are exactly how they printed the ticket or maybe how I ordered it lololol: Crunchy Spicy California Musubi Original Spam Musubi Chicken Katsu Musubi California Musubi Shrimp Tempura Musubi - least fav The musubi's in my opinion came with too much rice. Definitely didn't bother my kids at all. (3 rating) The POG juice is delicious! It's really good but on the pricey side. $13 for a large. (4 rating) I would definitely come back just for the POG which is passion, orange and guava juice. Being so residentially close, I'm already planning my order for today. Maybe just the California Musubi for my oldest and of course the POG!

Yelp
Second time coming here. Like this location much better than the Sj downtown one since there's an actual lot. They share the location with two other businesses in the kitchen. Easy online ordering system and the food was ready sooner than our requested pick up time which ended up being room temp by the time we got there but it's still good if you nuke it for 20 seconds. The special Garlic Butter shrimp is so good. Tastes like Shrimp Daddy if you've ever had it in Socal. Other two faves are the shrimp tempura and pineapple spam. So yummy! I originally put an order in for 43 & Company next door for desserts then noticed Hapa's new location is right next door so I def had to get some. It's in an industrial setting parking lot near the VTA station. Also ordered the ube cupcakes just to try. They put 3 cupcakes in a cup. Doesn't look like anything special. There's no frosting. Literally just the bare cupcake. It's good, just don't set your expectations high on those. The highlight is for sure the musubis!
google avatar

Suzie G.

Yelp
I will say that I misunderstood going into this and thought ordering three meant I was getting three full musubi's instead of three halves but I have no regrets! This place makes amazing musubi's and I enjoyed them so much for my lunch. The California musubi was definitely my favorite, I might not be getting California rolls at restaurants anymore because I'm not sure any other California roll has compared. I also had the chicken katsu musubi and original spam musubi and they were just as stellar. Will definitely be back for these fun bites!

Yelp
We ordered online and picked up (the only option available at the time of this review). Pick up time was ~30 mins after we ordered. Musubis were made fresh (still hot when we came at pickup time). We got: - Chicken katsu musubi: the red cabbage was a really nice addition to the chicken. Since we ate right when we got it, the chicken katsu was still kinda crunchy. Good flavor but not too special, would give this a 4/5. - Spam and egg: this one was my favorite!! 5/5, must get!! Very well flavored. OG combo :) - California musubi: my friend said it was just ok, she liked the chicken katsu better, 3/5. They share a space with 2 other shops, which is pretty economical. Location is kinda odd, trust your GPS.. look for their pink sign. Overall, pretty good! Just make sure you order online beforehand. A little bit pricey for musubi imo, but you're getting some quality food. Definitely worth checking out. Glad I got to support this small business :)

Yelp
Hapa Musubi is located in Milpitas. I saw this place mentioned on Yelp and decided to check it out. It's located off Montague Expressway in a warehouse location. It shares a space with two other eateries -- 43 and Company and Eat On Monday -- housed in Catered Two Kitchen. The Hapa Musubi sign is easy to spot -- it's pink. As I walked up, I was told you have to order online. As I checked their website, I found it simple and easy to use. I ordered 4 Original Spam Musubi and Lola's Loco Moco Bowl. The wait was surprisingly short, and I soon got my food. The Loco Moco was delicious as was the Spam Musubi. I will have to make a return trip to try out more of their menu.

Yelp
Kitchen pickup only. Service is nice. When I have a musubi craving from missing Hawaii, this is where I go. Cucumber and spam - Alright. Seaweed salad - More a fresh, simple palette cleanser. Tofu katsu (panko tofu, pickled red cabbage, katsu sauce, avocado) - The best item here! Lots of flavor, must order. Crab salad and avocado - Richer and creamy compared to the others. Chicken katsu - Close second to the tofu katsu musubi.

Yelp
Online preorder only, haven't been to Hawaii for a couple years and found hapa musubi that specialized in hawaiin food and with a large musubi menu. There is classic spam but also variants with kimchi, Katsu chicken, etc... I got the chicken, spam, and spam with cucumbers. Loved all of them, especially the chicken with pickles. They are pretty large and 2 of them filled me up for lunch, they so have pretty cool plastic bags though the little pull tab broke when I was pulling them. They are in a shared kitchen in an industrial area, just follow the map on the website and it's easy to find, they did paint the front a dark blue color to make it easier to find.

Yelp
I got the egg and spam musubi, pineapple and spam musubi, chicken katsu musubi, and shrimp tempura musubi. I would highly recommend the shrimp tempura musubi & chicken katsu musubi! They were both packed with flavor. The egg and spam musubi was also a classic, so yummy. The pineapple and spam musubi is a hit or miss tbh, I usually love pineapple but I wasn't too amazed by this. The shrimp tempura was my favorite but I'm bias because I love shrimp so take this with a grain of salt! Chicken katsu musubi was soo yummy! It had pickled red cabbage in it btw, so it was a good combination with the chicken katsu. Made me crave some coleslaw all of a sudden hehe Some cons: The rice to protein ratio was only okay. I could do with a lot less rice and more spam or shrimp or chicken. The price is also a con for me. It was pretty pricey, especially the shrimp tempura musubi and chicken katsu musubi. I'm not sure if I would come here again or often if I do just because I think the price, portion and rice ratio could be better. It was definitely worth it one time for the one time, and I would recommend this place to those who haven't tried yet. Overall, it was a decent experience and the food was yummy. Also they're online order only so make sure to order before you come!

Yelp
I'm so glad they decided to set up shop in the Milpitas area! For their current location, you have to order online and then pick up at a kitchen location near the Great Mall area. They do not to on the spot orders, though they are very fast at putting together the musubi! I didn't realize it at the time so I showed up at their kitchen location and placed an online order on the spot. I got the katsu musubi and California roll musubi. They were nicely packaged and hot! Only thing I wish I had was some type of sauce like spicy Mayo or soy sauce on the sauce but that's okay because I have those things at home. Great food option if you were going on a trip or doing a picnic at some nearby parks!

Yelp
****it's Online Order Only **** Hands down, Absolutely delicious spam musubi, no questions! Theirs so much selections and it's also very adorable for its portion size. After trying it for the first time, we immediately came back and ordered a few more to have later. However, location is very SUS and currently it's Online Order Only but definitely would recommend stopping by to give it a try! .:Pros:. + large selection + everything's very tasty. (Probably would say Katsu & tempura is best) .:Cons:. -Location is very out of pocket. You'll be questioning, "what the heck is this place?" Am I at the right location?" "Wtf google map"

Garrett R.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I came here and got just about every musubi, and they were bomb! The service was quick and easy. If you need something flavorful, quick, and easy, then this is the place for you! As a local, I can vouch for it!
google avatar

Jonathan A.

Yelp
Ughhhhh, soooo good! Literally was just in the area and this came up and I knew I had to go. I'm a sucker for a bomb ass musubi and this place was the right spot to go to. I got the longanisa musubi, the breakfast (bacon/egg/spam) musubi, and the chicken Katsu musubi and they were more than enough to satisfy my quantity of hunger. Of the three that I got, here's my ranking: 1) Chicken Katsu: sooooo sooo good with their hapa sauce!! It was thickkkk as hell, I probably could've ate two of these and I would've been good. 2) Longanisa musubi: classic Filipino breakfast 3) Breakfast musubi But in all honesty the chicken Katsu is hands down my favorite musubi!!

Yelp
This is the most extraordinary and delicious shrimp I have ever had! I had two Shrimp Tempura Musubi. So fresh with a scrumptious glaze and puffy rice. I thought I would eat two for lunch but ended up having one for lunch and one for dinner. The shrimp are incredibly fresh and the balance of glaze and rice, perfection. I have never tried these before so I was delighted to have a brand new experience. Thrilled!! Now I am planning on a way to have them again. Very soon if not tomorrow. The other dishes all looked interesting but once I try something and love it, that's all I can focus on. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Service: very friendly, super attentive! *MUST ORDER ONLINE AND PICK UP IN STORE* you cannot order at the store so order ahead of time!!! Everyone who came after us (including us) sat in their car to order and waited for their order to be made so don't skip this step! Food- super fresh! We got almost one of everything and the ones that stood out to us were: chicken Katsu musubi, pineapple spam, and original! They were all good but these ones specifically stood out to us! I think they are a must! Ones that were less of a hit: seaweed salad (I wish it had spam because it was missing a salty factor) and that was it. It's definitely a good vegetarian option but I wish there was also a spam version because I loved the first few bites of the seaweed salad and then it got old after I was half way done. *egg and spam- 8/10 solid choice *chicken katsu- 10/10 GET THIS, so much flavor *original- 8/10 another solid option *kimchi and spam- I'm not a kimchi fan and accidentally ate this so I don't think my opinion should count on this one *pineapple spam- YOU NEED TO TRY 10/10 unexpected flavors but super good *shrimp tempura- 7/10 it was fine not super memorable *shrimp katsu- 8/10 good option *seaweed salad- 6.5/10 room for improvement particularly adding a spam option Storefront- it's very misleading because it's in a sketchy area and the store name says "The kitchen" so if you find that you're there! Price- it is quite pricey but you only need 2-3 ish to be full, I thought the ratio of rice to protein was too much. Overall, I'd recommend to a friend!!

Yelp
Located in an industrial building location, it looks like this spot caters to multiple food businesses. We were in the area running an errand and wanted a snack as we were planning to have a late lunch. Musubis are the perfect snake to curb your hunger! We got there right when it opened so these were freshly made. Tried the spam and eggs, California and Katsu musubis. All tasted pretty good and the quality was there for such a simple dish. Check them out if you're in the area!

Yelp
Welcome to the neighborhood Hapa Musubi! This review is more reflective of a 4.5 experience but I'll round it up to 5 because overall it truly was fantastic. I saw this little hole in the wall on yelp and decided that it would be ideal for a picnic (activities are so limited during Covid!). Ordering online is a breeze! The location looks a bit industrial but they have a bright pink sign in front of their door so you know you're in the right place. They share their kitchen with a bakery/dessert business so make sure to clarify that you're picking up for Hapa Mushbi. My order didn't come in the cute pink box people have gotten but I did really appreciate that each food item is packaged individually which makes it easy to eat (and stay clean!). My partner and I tried the katsu musubi as well as the breakfast musubi (egg and bacon). Both were delicious! Perfect ratio of rice to protein and flavored to perfection. They were still warm when we arrived to the park. We also got a side of rainbow slaw and the macaroni salad. Both sides were amazing as well - great flavor, perfect amount of salt to bring out the flavors. Loved the slaw to get you some veggies in your meal. We tried the loco moco which was in its own container and gravy on the side. This was good, but the only note I have about it is that the meat patty was a bit on the drier side than I'm used to. The gravy definitely helps though. They also have the canned Hawaiian drinks (we got lychee!). Pricing is fair and I was really happy with the variety that my partner and I got to share. Service was quick and friendly as well. Definitely would return for future picnic food!

Super tasty place. Best for something small and healthy breakfast on weekends. Kind people. Must, must try Musubis here.

Yelp
Ordered musubis for my son's drive-by baptism celebration and they were a hit! I love how they are individually packaged, perfect for a Covid drive-by event. The flavor is great and makes me reminisce of vacays in Hawaii. They offer a variety of musubis and other classic dishes. A minor gripe in price for the size but you get what pay for - quality is worth it! And we love supporting local businesses! Will definitely order for future events (who knows when that will be allowed) and/or to fulfill my craving for Hawaiian food. My mouth is watering just thinking about them now!

Yelp
The garlic shrimp at Hapa Musubi was one of the best shrimp dishes I've ever had. I haven't had garlic shrimp in Hawaii before, but other reviewers had mentioned that Hapa Musubi's interpretation compares favorably and I believe them. The musubi wasn't mind-blowing, but the garlicky shrimp was more than enough to carry the meal.

Yelp
I was curious to try Hapa Musubi, since my family is from Hawaii and I've been making and enjoying musubi's my entire life. Due to Covid-19, it seems more and more businesses are using online ordering, which I have found to be a nice benefit and a safer option. The online ordering platform was really easy to use and it also allows you to see their pricing and pictures of their items. I like that they texted me keep me abreast of my order. The shop is easy to find and parking was plentiful, since they are in an industrial area in Milpitas. Once your order is ready, they place it on a table right outside their door with a ticket that includes your name and order number. I ordered a spam musubi, a spam & egg and a chicken teriyaki musubi. The musubi's are on the smaller size, considering the cost. I did enjoy the chicken teriyaki musubi the best of the three I tried. There was a good amount of chicken, compared to the other musubi's I bought. The egg in the spam & egg was mushy and there wasn't much of it either. I'm glad I tried them, even though I didn't feel they were a good bargain. It is nice to see new places opening-up offering more diverse menu options.

Yelp
The chicken teriyaki was way too salty I had to throw out the chicken Everything else is very good I love how refreshing the CA musubi is, the avocado is so fresh & tastes great

Yelp
I loved this place for a quick fix lunch musubi and a nice go to for a picnic by the beach. The chicken teriyaki And tofu are pretty good. The une cupcake that comes in a cup is the perfect after meal dessert. Kinda bummed that they are only open for catering orders now

Yelp
I love Hawaiian musubi and found this gem online so I decided to give it a try. I preordered online a day before for pick up since I was heading out of town the next day with my friends . It located where nothing was around, which to me was sketchy at first. When I got there, my orders wasn't ready so I had to wait 15 mins extra for it. I ordered one of each: original, cucumber and spam, pineapple and spam, egg and spam, shoyu salmon, chicken teriyaki, tuna mayo, and california. My friends said it was good, so do I. Definitely coming back for more options. Maybe trying their Hawaiian dishes next time like their garlic shrimps and loco moco

Yelp
I know this store has high positive reviews. However, Im sorry for the 1 star. Somehow it took us a long time to find the place. We almost gave up but we gave it a chance. The information on the website is not clear. When we came in the store, the two people there ignored us and as we said 'hello" they continued to walk out on us to the kitchen. We continue to pursued with the order. The ordering system which in my part is not the best because you have to do it online even you're in the store/warehouse/kitchen already. I wish they could have a payment registered there. When I ordered, the packaging was poorly made and put in a small plastic bag. So I just shrug my shoulder and said okay, my first and last.

Yelp
Picked up our Musubis today and ooohhhh they're delicious! Yes, so happy to have found and tried Hapa Musubi. You have to order ahead of time and pick up only from their ghost kitchen in Milpitas. The musubis are fresh and tasty! You won't regret! I'll be back there next weekend for sure !

Yelp
This place is amazing and perfect for a snack or a meal! It's also super affordable and you can try multiple flavors without stretching your wallet! I'm not a huge fan of spam musubi as I usually find it boring but this place changed my mind! All the flavors we tried were absolutely delicious - we'd definitely recommend the chicken katsu and egg/spam. The owner is also extremely nice! She was so sweet and dropped the orders off at our car when we came early! Really appreciate the thoughtfulness Tips: Order beforehand on their website and choose a bunch of flavors to try! Enjoy!

Yelp
I've had Hapa Musubi bookmarked for the longest time and finally decided to order some to bring to a picnic! I ordered the chicken katsu, California, and spam and egg musubis. I had no self control and ate the chicken katsu one right when I got it, so the chicken was still slightly crispy! I enjoyed it, but some parts of the chicken was tough, so it ended up being pretty messy. The California musubi tasted exactly how I imagined it would taste. The spam and egg musubi was definitely the winner! The egg was thick and complemented the spam well - I was so sad when I finished this one. I'll definitely come back to try more of the spam variations!

Yelp
Yes please, thank you very much. Soooooo, I'm not a huge fan of masubi, but my partner is!! I thought I would scout this place out for us and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised. I ordered traditional, jalapenos and spam, tofu and California. I just tried the tofu and California, both were still warm and were delish! I do prefer my avo to be green but I get it.... I will definitely go back.

Yelp
Totally forgot to order ahead of time but after waiting 15 minutes, they gave me my order. It was nice and hot and was succulent. Brings me back memories to Hawaii. Tempura is my favorite. That is all PS If people complain about the price, they forget they are living in Silicon Valley and supporting small businesses.

Yelp
We usually always order from Hapa Musubi + Eat On Monday when they appear on foodies.earth (check it out if you have not heard of them...wonderful food delivery service). Our go to order is 6 musubi combo, POG, and Hawaiian garlic shrimp. Their garlic shrimp is amazing - perfectly cooked.

Yelp
Wow. The musubis were a party in my mouth! We got 3 musubis: 1) Carne Asada Musubi 2) Chicken Katsu Musubi 3) Egg and Spam Musubi Every single musubi were so flavorful, perfectly balanced in terms of rice with content, and it was also hot! Each musubis being around $4 is reasonable considering the quality of the food. Though it's a little far, definitely worth it if you're around the area and surely order ahead or you'll be waiting for a while to get the musubis.

Yelp
I was craving garlic shrimp like Giovanni's in Hawaii so I looked up some places around my area and found this place. This place is definitely a hidden gem! My wife loved all the different Musubi, I would suggest to get anything but the normal one since nothing really special about that but still good! I loved the garlic shrimp plate! I really liked this better than Giovannis because the shrimps were bigger and less oils. They cooked the shrimp perfectly so I did not mind eating the shell. I would definitely come back again! If this were a restaurant, I would come here often!
