Happy Bar & Grill Paradise Center

Having heard a lot about Happy prior to going, it did not disappoint! This location is spacious and has a fun, lively atmosphere — great for a casual lunch or dinner. Our servers were exceptionally friendly and helpful as well, and we didn’t have to wait too long for a table on this occasion (though I do recommend making a reservation in advance!) This location can get quite noisy and overwhelming when crowded but otherwise the ambiance was tolerable. The new seasonal menu is delicious, I especially enjoyed the baked crispy cheese with tomato and yogurt sauce.

Not the first time I come to Happy and it's always a hit or miss depending on what I order. Fist of all, it is very busy and full so you do need to wait to be seated. It's not a very long wait if you are a small party and have no reservation. However, because it is so full it is quite loud and hectic. As for the food, this time I got the Cream Potato Soup (Картофена Крем Супа) and it was tasty as always but nothing really special. Then as a main I got from the winter menu the Duo Tender Shank (Дуо Крехко Джоланче). It was quite disappointing as the pork was very fatty and the sauce was overly salty. I like saltier dishes but this was a bit too much for me, even when paired with the mashed potatoes. The beef was lovely and tender but the pork was mostly fat so it ruined the dish. The menu is very big with a lot of options so I know not everything can be perfect, however since this was part of the new winter menu I expected better. 12.2025

The food is excellent, especially the sushi. This time they didn’t have tempura sushi, but that’s understandable since the menu gets refreshed once a month. Overall, still a great dining experience.

The food is very tasty! 🤌🏻 My favorite thing is the hosomaki with cucumber, the potatoes with spices were also very tasty. The salad was also delicious with caramelized walnuts. The menu didn't say that there was mustard in the tortilla.

I’ve been coming to Happy Restaurant more than 10 times now, and the main reason is always the food. It’s consistently delicious and never disappoints! But today (10/09/2025), I had a completely different experience that made this visit extra special. One of the staff members, Petya, treated my husband and me with such warmth and professionalism. She was kind, proactive, polite, and made us feel truly welcome. It’s rare to feel this level of hospitality, and it didn’t go unnoticed. I hope this review reaches Petya, her colleagues, and her manager, because her attitude really made a difference and elevated our entire experience. People like her are what every restaurant needs! Thank you, Petya, and thank you, Happy Restaurant, for always serving great food and, now, unforgettable service too.

Our actual server who waited on us was lovely and professional, the other servers/hosts seemed as if they didn't want to be there, and there were a Lot of them, this restaurant is enormous and weirdly just had one toilet 😂 The food we ordered was really average, disappointing because of the award signage everywhere. I had never heard of Happy restaurant until Sophia airport Billboard claimed it was Bulgaria's best restaurant and then was really keen to try it. The aesthetic was great and it was absolutely enormous with many many different sections The hostess who sat us didn't bother showing us around or asking where we would like to sit she just said smoking or no smoking and then sat us at the closest empty table which was super loud with music pumping it would have been much nicer to sit on the terrace or in a quieter section of the restaurant that wasn't so crowded, they were plenty of empty tables in the other sections of the restaurant The section they set us under the front right by the kitchen was filled and the tables were packed super closely together In that area. Overall disappointing but I'd try it again to see if that was a fluke or maybe just that particular location it was at the Paradise Mall and all of the staff that I encountered in that mall seemed like they really didn't want to be at work that day. They also made people line up outside which was weird when once you went in and walked around the restaurant there were plenty of empty tables and a lot of space.
