Happy Cork is at the nexus of Black-owned spirits and wines. What Sunshine has managed to cultivate is the Wakanda of beer, wine, liquor, and more. I’d highly recommend this national treasure curated exceptional products, services, and experiences.

I love Happy Cork. I started going when they first opened up 5 years ago and haven't stopped since. The customer service is A++. I love their variety of wines and spirits. Can't wait to check out their tasting room!

OMG! My visit was everything I imagined it would be. Actually, it was more than I imagined! Happy Cork is a gem and a must visit for any wine owner focused on supporting black owned wineries. This is truly the largest collection of black owned wines, liquors, and products I've ever seen. My heart was seriously filled with joy. And the service? Top notch. The owner suggested wines to try and chatted with us about a variety of topics. The hubs and I had a great time shopping. Should you visit? Uh, yeah. Make this spot your go-to for wines.

I love, love, love Happy Cork! Such a wonderful selection of wines and spirits. I so appreciate learning about the Black and/or woman-owned and independently owned wines and spirits. Great selection of unique host/hostess gifts as well--for any occasion, actually. Everyone on staff is not only friendly and kind, but knowledgeable and helpful. It’s a black-owned business that sells wines and other spirits by black-owned companies....need I say more 🥰 Great selection of spirts, good price, and amazing customer service. The cashier was very knowledgeable of all the products in store and made great recommendations. It was definitely worth the drive from NJ. We will be back for more!

The wine selection/variety is well packed, stacked, and organized just like how I love it. 1st time here at this place and I most certainly will be back to purchase more. I only went there for a Riesling tried it and I love it omg my lady loved it too so she ended up going to grab a bottle too all within the same day within a few hours after me. It was so cute because the lady couldn't reach the top shelf luckily I'm 6ft tall I was able to grab the Oh Schisti lol. I am pleased with whomever made the ambiance as pleasant as it was not too many liquor stores within this neighborhood looks as good as this one inside and out hands down this is the spot. I am very picky and selective on where I may purchase a bottle of wine or possibly rum. Love it love it love it I almost ended up driving pass it but luckily I laid close enough attention lmbo. I wouldn't be writing a review like this if I wasn't satisfied overall and I will tell friends and family about this spot. Love Happy Cork! It's a Black Owned Wine and Spirits store. They also have a sister location, Happy Buds, which is a CBD and wellness shop. They have their own app and I frequently ordered from them at the height of the pandemic. They have a plethora of Black owned wines and spirits that they carry. Now that I purchase in store, I love that I'm able to discover new brands and get recommendations from employees. The staff is super friendly and did a wonderful job pointing out the Black owned brands to me since that's something I'm prioritizing this year as I build out my at home bar. I appreciate the fridge where you can but cold bottles if you're picking up something last minute for an event. They also have other drinks accessories like wine openers, coasters and playing cards. Love this addition to the neighborhood and Brooklyn and general. It's my go to spot for all alcohol purchases!

This is my go to shop for alcohol. They have a majority of black owned brands as well as others. Every time I go I get to try different brands of whiskey and expand my palate. The ladies there are also great about helping you find something new based on your tastes. They also have delivery and pickup and pickup available. Overall, it's a great shop and I highly recommend.

One of my favorite places to go when I need a bottle (or two)! Whether it's for yourself or a gift, you can find some amazing liquors in this store. Black owned and they go out of their way to stock mostly (if not all?) black owned brands. I've never purchased anything here I didn't like. From wine, to rum, to whiskey.. there is something for everyone. Plus it's decorated so well & they include great descriptions by each bottle so you know exactly what you're in for. Parking is also relatively easy to find around here. Highly recommend!

I love a business that is helpful, knowledgeable and even though it's another liquor store in the hood. I can say it's so much more than that. Black owned Wines and Spirits, events and they always have something new for me to try. They also have a rewards program and delivery! Go here!

This wonderful mwbe wines and spirits in bedstuy was amazing. Love love love it here. From the outside in from the ambiance to the energy it was so welcoming and beautiful. They have so many different assortments of wine all tagged with descriptions and price points. They also have plenty accessories such as coasters, wine bags, and flasks and wine decor and openers. So much to choose from felt like a kid in a candy store. I live in the other side of Brooklyn but I will travel just to come to happy cork. I discovered Happy Cork back when the pandemic was really raging. I loved it because I could order online and then just go and pick up my bottles, already packed in a bag with the cutest 'Thank You' note when I got there. I appreciated that their website had great descriptions of the wines so even though I couldn't ask questions to someone in person, I had a great info about what I was buying. Recently, I went in for an Esrever wine tasting and loved the vibe. Also, I love that it's Black woman owned/founded.

I've purchased from Happy Cork in the past and was satisfied but was very disappointed in their event coordination recently. They held a Prosecco tasting with Issa Rae that was disorganized and poorly orchestrated. They seemingly sold way more tickets than the small venue (Happy Buds) could hold, as the garden was packed tightly with the crowd spilling over into the front and rest of the shop. Aside from that discomfort, they mentioned buying signed bottles in the beginning but didn't explain that this would be the last opportunity of the night to purchase one to potentially meet Issa. I planned to do so later in the evening. So what was promoted as a two-hour event was really just patrons waiting over a half hour on line to then hear the guest speak for 2 minutes and promptly be removed from the venue, as the event was over. Even friends that purchased a bottle in the beginning, didn't experience much. Unacceptable.

Everyone in the hood is talking about "Happy Cork." My first experience with Happy Cork was delivery, I was super impressed with the packing and each bottle was separated by cardboard (Didn't happen often when I order delivery from other businesses... sometimes I can hear my bottles hitting one another as the delivery man brings them up the steps...not cool)! Happy Cork included a post card, actually an "thank you card," which included my name "thank you Letty and enjoy!" and gave me information about their hours, location, rewards program, and website. They also sent a follow up text to ask if I was satisfied with the order and delivery (OK)! This business is located in my neighborhood, Bedford Stuyvesant so I took the opportunity to visit. The same great customer service I received online was consistent in person. Great selections and friendly service. I'm so glad that I visited. Please visit their online store or visit if you're in the area. You will be thoroughly impressed.

Support Black owned businesses This review is for my delivery Very impressed with the overall experience. From ordering online, which was user friendly and a discount on new online orders. I new exactly what I wanted, but also peeked around to what else they offered. My delivery came quick, tracking was on point. My wines came well packed with extra goodies, I love surprises! Popped the bottle open after a long week...perfection I was very pleased

One of the reasons I came to Happy Cork is because of a wine. Particularly a sparkling red from the rapper Raekwon the chef. There were only a few Brooklyn places that were listed as having it in stock on the wine's website. However, I was searching through Happy Cork's website because I heard of the store before and by chance they had it. So when I was near the area, I had to go. Plus it is a black owned space It is located near the C train stop and closer to the B25. When I walked up to the entrance, I knew it was going to be a good time. Often times wine/liquor stores are serious by nature and by design. But Happy had a fun vibe throughout their selection of bottles. The person at the register was so sweet and not only helped me but knew exactly where the wine was for me to take it. The music was also good, not too loud volume wise but also enough to create an ambiance in the store that makes you want to dance a little. The main space was not the largest but it was open enough to walk and look at the wines without bumping into a shelf Also, I liked that they had a great selection of black owned wines. In other stores they might have 1-2 wines tops. But I saw multiple wineries represented through multiple wines each. Though the store is further than my typical area, they do have local delivery and I'm crossing my fingers that I'm in the range. Overall, you should definitely visit if you have the chance

What a delight black owned wine and spirits store in BedStuy, Brooklyn. Sorry folks its a big deal and they carry selections of black own wines which is also a big deal since legislation has to passed just to have black own distributors and vineyards around the country. Anyway during this Covid Season social Distancing is in effect. Only one or two people in the store at a time. So please be patient and wait outside. Jamila was very friendly and patient as she answered all of the questions my friend and myself had about the variety of wines and spirits located in the store. I was happy to know they even have a rewards card after 10th purchase you get something free! The highlight of my life. Glad to know prior to Corona they had wine tastings but as you know Corona's taking over the world so things are virtual now. I purchased a few bottles. Saving the Brown Estate, Chaos Theory for my Birthday. It just seems appropriate. She Can is an awesome concept. Never knew John Legend had a Champagne. Glad to know few ladies from Queens did it right with the Prosecco. My favorite summer wine. Can't wait to go back. My co-workers are super excited!

Totally enjoyed stopping at this wine and spirit shop to pick up some wines I was looking for . I went in the evening and they were busy . Since they deliver, there were many people waiting to pick up the orders to deliver however inside happy cork they were efficient getting the orders out The owner was very pleasant, told me where everything was located by category and also told me she sold out of those champagne pops I was looking for ... No worries though as I found the McBride sisters wine I was looking for . Great selection of black owned wines here . I will be back

On a Sunday walk, a journey to pair the slow roasted pork ribs with a fitting rosé led us to this place was great. It had a great selection for any wine drinker, I tend to gravitate to sweeter wines in particular. I had a bubbly rosé, that while not that sweet, was a hit at dinner. The young person handling the shop was knowledgeable and very kind. If you don't know what to pick, go for House of Wine - it is one of my favorite wines for something cute and down-to-earth. I'm going back to the store. P.S. it's black owned!!!!

Great selection of wines, many from black owned wineries. The staff is friendly and helpful. They had wines at all price levels. I also discovered a vodka from a black owned distillery. They had a wonderful tasting of McBride Sisters wines. I'd love to come back for more events and will definitely come back to purchase more wine!!

Blessed Happy Cork is only a 10minute walk from me. The store is beautifully done with an awesome assortment of wines. Definitely worth making your go to wine store.

I made an order for two different wines to be delivered.. I only received one. I called them and informed of this and the person who picked up told me they've been out of stock for four months! You would think someone would call the customer and tell them !! I will never order from them again! I shouldn't have to discover this during delivery!

Excellent Yelp event via Zoom and I'm looking forward to visiting in person when I'm in Brooklyn. The owners are awesome and gave an excellent presentation of their wines. This is in support of black owned businesses that are also owned by women!!

Starting with the Happy Cork's website, a big shout out for easy navigation, great descriptions and other information regarding wines and spirits, as well as selections, and notations for Black-owned wineries and spirit makers. The price points were reasonable too! I look forward to attending a wine tasting at the Happy Cork, whenever the pandemic ends. I ordered via Drizly and will update this review as necessary.

I arrived to pick up an order placed online and was pleasantly surprised the store was open. So many places in the area have a habit of not being prompt or stringent with their hours of operation. The staff of two were extremely hospitable and definitely made me want to return. I saw a very nice selection of wines and spirits, many of which i either already enjoy or have an interest in trying out. My order was well packaged and I'm excited to try them all. I will say, It was nice to see another black owned spirits business in the area.

SUPPORT BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES !! This place is actually amazing lol. I go here very often for my drinks and they have an awesome coupon system. Get all of them punched out and u may get something free. :) This wine that was recommenced was sweet and reminded me of Dusse for some odd reason .

This black woman owned wine shop is so cute. The staff was friendly. They cary numerous black owned wines and liquors. They also have accessories like coasters, trays, candles, and more. I will definitely come back to support this company.

Happy Cork is Brooklyn best kept secret what a gem. I didn't get to visit the location as yet but I had order a few Black Girl Magic Rosé for my bestfriend Ladies Yacht Dinner Night. I can't wait to try it. Supporting black own business is very important and I'm pleased they provide such a large selections of wines and spirits. I would definitely be visiting very soon

I love Happy Cork, it's been a great addition to the neighborhood over the past few years. They have a great selection of wines and liquor. They highlight black owned wines and spirits which is great for our community to support on another. They also sell other black owned neighboring stores/ Cafe products. They are my go to spot to grab something to take to a gathering or if I'm grabbing something for myself. The staff (Trent, she's been there the times I've gone) is also very helpful and knowledgeable about the products in the shop. Also another perk is that they also deliver. You can't beat that. I look forward to my next visit to the wine shop. I also plan to check out their sister store Happy Buds.

I loved the vibe of this little black owned business. The host was very friendly in answering all my questions and giving recommendations on different wines and/or liquors to try. It's a small neighborhood gem located on the corner of Atlantic Ave and Buffalo Ave. I do plan to come here. It also sells from black own vendors (may not all be black vendors) but their array of sellers and liquors, wines and/or spirits will keep you captivated. As well as, their reasonable prices. On this visit, I picked up a Rose flat wine, a South African Moscato wine and a Melbec. I do plan to revisit, continue investing and building a strong black community.

I am very pleased with the service here! I ordered a Black-owned/created sparkling wine via another website distributor. However, my order was sent to distributed by Happy Cork. I even received a call to ensure that Happy Cork had the correct delivery address...I received my order the next day! Thanks for the extra detail and speed with which I received my order after the address verification. I'll be shopping with Happy Cork again!

Happy Cork is a really nice wine shop in Brooklyn. I came here to purchase the McBride sisters Black Girl Magic Wine and ended up coming upon a ton of unique bottles of wine that I had never seen before. This shop is small but the atmosphere is soothing and calming. It has an afro-centric vibe which I absolutely loved and appreciated, especially because of the location. I had already intended to pick up 6 bottles of wine but if I could have carried more I would had most certainly done so. They had a lot of random flavors and bottles that appeared to be worth trying ! absolutely can not wait to go back and pick up some more wine. Thank you Happy Cork!

One of my favorite wine stops. Staff is always happy and enthusiastic about products offered, and customer service. I appreciate their app which allows me to grab and go, as much as I enjoy in store recommendations of new goods, like the wine popcorn (yes I said wine popcorn). I highly recommend the Happy Cork!

The service here has been stellar and its been worth the journey to buy wine from here. Best part of all this shop is black owned and supports many black owned wineries as well. Amazing customer service! The knowledge about liquors was very impressive and helpful. They offer a membership card (kind of) that allows you to get stamps until your card is filled. I can remember if it's something free or a discount but I loved the idea for a wine/liquor store. It's not that large but it's very well organized inside. Overall I do suggest Happy Cork over the more "traditional" liquor stores in the area.

I am always nervous to go into wine and spirit shops because of my lack of knowledge. The woman working was so comforting and knowledgeable about the selection. She was not trying to upsell or pressure me into a sale but rather helping me figure out exactly what would work best for me and my party. Had such an amazing experience that we came back several times and bought wine for friends and family. I would recommend happy cork to absolutely anyone, the owners and all employees are so amazing and helpful.

I was dying to get to this place and support my people..The young ladies that was there that day 8/22/2020 was very friendly and helpful,I brought three wines one was OBikwa white wine Pinot Grigio 2019,Aveleda Fonte Vinho Verde,Mcbride Sisters Black Girl Magic California Riesling,I enjoyed the taste of all of them,I will definitely be going here again,not to mention they sell the wine bags I love by PPP artwork .It's a small place very cozy and welcoming..I highly recommend this place if you're looking to buy some good quality wine at great prices

Their customer service and selection is ALWAYS a cut above! I love coming here because they carry my favorite wine ESREVER (black owned wine company). I went, they didn't have the regular wine, but they did have the sparkling - Awesome Sauce!

Hands down the best place! I go out of my way to stop in and when I can't, order delivery from here. The selection is like nowhere else, the staff is educated and extremely helpful. Definitely an all around experience.

The two star loss is real and I don't have a choice in this. I just spent over $100 on the store l, I went out of my way to support this store. I was just downtown a rock the street from the Brooklyn Wine Exchange and said to myself "No go to happy cork" I can't anymore . 1. I know it's Rona season however you can smile with your eyes. The young lady today was not the happiest and believe me you I understand but.... you have a job and I've been furloughed. 2. When I asked her questions I felt like I was a bother so..... nope 3. And the worst of all... I left my loyalty card at home...ok can I have another one. She give me one punch. For $100??? Are you kidding me. With a straight face she said " you only get one per purchase" OTAY.... no problem and when I want to use the card for my free bottle it's a $10 bottle when I spend an average of $40 per visit. I'm going back to Brooklyn Wine Exchange. Hell at least I get an attitude, Ignored but, great selection and good prices. Promptly the OWNER posted on here so they have gone up another star!

The store's name says it all. I was truly Happy in Happy Cork! Customer service, knowledge, selection , vibe all outstanding. I want there to be other locations close to me, but this special jewel and black owned experience is so great that I will continue to take the journey from Flatbush.

Happy Cork was beyond impressive! The owners, sommelier and hostess were all welcoming and knowledgable. I had a fantastic Cattelan Grenache and a mineral based New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc during the tasting...plus a spicy gin shot ...whoa! I left with a delicious Sparkling Rose, a Vinho Verde, an organic Prosecco that will be promptly mixed with St. Germain when I get home....and all at great prices, might I add. You have to stop by!

This spot is amazing. The staff are friendly and VERY knowledgeable. Great, great addition to my Bedstuy neighborhood. Oh, and free tastings every Wednesday and Thursday. My go to spot for wine and whiskey. And they are black owned. Love it
