Happy Day Juice Co.

Eh - it’s a cute shop, good location, but the smoothies were watery and bland. I am definitely looking for quality when I shell out for a smoothie, and these were far less tasty than the ordinary ones I make at home. My fruit obsessed kids didn’t even finish theirs which is saying something. I would recommend they thicken them up with more of the good stuff - yogurt, coconut milk, nut butters, etc, so they are richer and less watery.

Awesome place for juices and smoothies. Good literature also on juicing. Honestly it’s true that so many kids (and adults) are having issue due to lack of nutrients and almost all kids love juices and smoothies. My daughter loved her shake.

I came into Happy Day at 4 pm today with my sister. We’ve never been before so we thought to check it out. Upon entering the store, we weren’t greeted, but didn’t think too much of it. We waited at the counter for quite some time before one of the 2 girls working finally came to take our order (still didn’t greet us by saying even a simple “hi”, but did ask us what we wanted to get). We both ordered a smoothie. There was 1 other customer in the store. The other customer got their order pretty quick, and then for the next 10 minutes it was just me and my sister waiting in the store, with no other customers there. We were still waiting for our smoothies after 10 minutes. Then, 3 more people came in. 10 more minutes of waiting goes by, and finally our smoothies are ready after a whole 20 minutes of waiting. But, it’s not just our smoothies that are ready, it’s everybody else that came in after us’ orders as well. One of those customers even got a bowl, and their whole order was still ready at the same time as ours, even though we had ordered our drinks 10 minutes before any of them had even come into the store. I’m trying my best to not assume that race was involved in our mistreatment at Happy Day, but considering my sister and I are black, and the customers that came in after us were white, it’s hard to not assume that race was involved in this interaction today. Do better Happy Day :/. This was a one and done kind of experience for us today at this shop. We will not be returning. And I urge anyone reading this review to be cautious about what establishments they are choosing to support with their hard earned money.

Amazing smoothies and service! Both my partner and I have dietary restrictions (celiac and various intolerances). They are always helpful in answering questions and making sure everything is safe for us to eat/drink. I like that they source high quality ingredients and use fresh produce. Highly recommend!

Stopped in shortly before closing the other day and enjoyed one of the BEST SMOOTHIES I have ever had. I got the Pink Team and it was amazing. I was surprised that the price was so comparable to other smoothie franchise spots, too, but this was way better!! Love that everything is plant-based and health-conscious. I’ll definitely be back.

I loved my Hydration juice, and the GF toast with dates, bananas, almond butter, cinnamon and hemp seeds was super filling and yummy. I love being surprised by new flavors and both these items ticked the box. They were delicious, inspired, and healthy. And the pricing was extremely fair. I’ll be back for sure!

I think this is the best and most rich flavor acai in the city. Deep purple color, lots of flavor, fresh fruit and other quality ingredients.

Beautiful space, kind employees and reasonably priced and healthy juices, smoothies and bowls. I don’t live in Portland but if I did I would absolutely frequent Happy Day Juice. I enjoyed the date shake and sunshine juice and found both extremely delicious!
