Happy Dragon Hostel

Excellent hostel, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Several metro stations are also within walking distance, making it easy to reach major attractions such as Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The hotel also offers the possibility to book excursions if needed. I would particularly like to highlight the staff — it’s quite rare to encounter such responsive english-speaking personnel who can offer a solution to any problem. I definitely recommend this hostel.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was excellent.|Bed comfortable enough.|No elevator/lift. Pillows were a bit thick for my liking and made my neck a bit stiff.

Very convenient location, near to subway, museums, and Tiananmen Square/Forbidden City. Rooms basic but well kept, Aircon and hot showers worked well. Bottled water and fresh towels every day. Service - INCREDIBLE 😁 Help and assistance with everything from setting up a phone, booking tours, arranging taxis, train schedules, bus times, booking tickets and reservations for attractions. Truly 247 and 1st class. Made my time there perfect.

The best, friendlier, awesome service ever. Ive been traveling all around the world, what i can say, this hotel is really beyond my expectations. Helpfull staff, they have everything…nail clippers, batteries for camera, card for train, book to places u want to go..and even allow us to check in early. We arrive at the hotel at 6am, tired, smelly and sleepy. They so nice allowed us to check in early at 7am. The hotel in Hutong area. Within walking distance to everything u want. Food. Halal food, wet market, mosque, michline star restaurant etc. Staff well speak in english and always helpful. I will repeat staying here if i go to Beijing again.

Very cozy and comfortable hotel. Staff speaks English perfectly, very helpful and sooo friendly! Explained everything about the city and attractions, helped with everything. They have free tea and coffee + very convinient cheap drinks. Highly recommended

Budget friendly, cozy rooms. Super friendly & helpful front desk staff. I enjoyed my 3 days stay there.

Such a great experience! The rooms were nice and the location is really convenient, near the station and some great sights like the Forbidden City. The staff was absolutely phenomenal! They helped us with all the questions we had, they arranged us a car to go to The Great Wall and they explained us every detail of the options we had! Just amazing! There are also many restaurants near by!
