Happy Face Review - Kings Cross - London - The Infatuation

"Happy Face is a very big, very-child friendly all-day pizza spot in the basement of one of those slightly nondescript buildings that have popped up behind Kings Cross. Unless you’re the type who takes offence at simple things done well, there is very little to offend you here. The wood-fired pizzas are as light and doughy as they should be, and the tomato sauce on the £6.50 margherita is as sweet and rich as you’ll find anywhere in London. All of which makes this place well worth a visit before or after a film at the Everyman upstairs, or if you’re at Granary Square or Coal Drops Yard looking for an inexpensive meal." - Oliver Feldman

I ordered 3 pizzas and a portion of calamari. Pizzas were ok...but the calamari? I opened the box and I found like 8 or 9 very small pieces, paid £8. Sorry guys, even if I live near by, you won't see me anymore.

Delicious pizza with a sour dough crust, quality ingredients create a delightful light pizza. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. Great looking place with modern decor, opened just 3 weeks ago. My favorite pizza is Rucola, they offer great cocktails and beer. Located just across the road from a beautiful park. We will definitely come back!🍕🥂

This place has been open for just over 3 weeks and it was great to see happy and helpful staff providing a great service, not to mention the fabulous tasty pizzas on offer. We loved our 3 course meal with calamari, pizzas and sorbet ice cream and tiramisu to finish off. The lemon sorbet cocktail is definitely one to recommend and the beers are beautiful. We'll be back!

Wonderful. Sunny outdoor seating next to a playground. Cheap and quality children's menu, including a very nice ice cream. The pizza is great, good crust and a sweet tomato base. As others have mentioned, I love the fried zucchini. Reminds me of an Italian fritto misto, but veggie. The only green my 8 year old ever said was "yummy!" need I say more? Recommended.

Really tasty pizza, and swift and friendly service. Looking forward to going back for some cocktails - we can see they use premium spirits.

Always great pizza and we’re well taken care of by lovely staff. My only gripe is the increase from £7.50 to £12.50 for the kids meal. It’s too much and puts us off coming too often as a family. £8 is pretty much standard in most places.

Happy Face Pizza is like a slice of happiness on a plate! Crispy crust, fresh toppings, and sauce that feels like a warm hug. The service? As friendly as your nan offering you a second helping. It’s pizza heaven—guaranteed to put a smile on your face!
