This place is a palace for a wine lover. It’s a local restaurant with tapas and an amazing selection of wines. I went to the second floor and they have a VIP section that is worth it to see it. Around 3,000 of different type of wines with a diversity of regions and years. One life won’t be enough to try all what they have! Highly recommended. Daniela, the waitress who works there has knowledge about wine and she can help you. She is very friendly and dynamic. Tapas are good. I love the meatballs, the meat platter with cheese is a must and the dessert of Santiago. Parking is complicated, I parked a few blocks away and I took an uber. I love this place!!!

Google
The food is amazing! The weekly lunch special for $20, is the best thing in this area!! The food, the service, just wow!! My friends and I will be back soon!

Google
The food and setting were great. The Miami Spice menu was very good. The service wasn't fantastic though. We were at a small table and at no point during the 2 hour meal we're the menus, empty glasses or side plates taken. Getting the servers attention upstairs was also difficult. Good restaurant, but maybe sit downstairs where the servers is a little more attentive.

My friends and I had a wine tasting event here last weekend and it was an absolutely amazing experiences! Mimi and her staff were wonderful! The wine and food were great, and we learned so much! I'm not a wine person at all, but I definitely left with a bottle of Chardonnay! I highly recommended for an event or just to hang out!

Google
Visited this spot with a girl friend to sip on some wine, munch on some apps, and catch up. It’s the perfect chill spot to unwind while enjoying good food. The atmosphere was great and the food was soo delicious. The octopus was perfect, the manchego croquettes were🤌🏽and the chocolate cake was everything you’d hope for in a dessert. The meatballs were good but they did have a strong taste, I just couldn’t put my finger on what the flavor was. The tuna tartar was okay, but I wouldn’t order it again. portions weren’t big but I didn’t expect them to be as we didn’t really order any entrees.

Google
Wines are more expensive than the competitors in Calle 8. Food ok, too much carb, less chorizo. Calamari were fried with burt oil.

Google
I like this place ! The location is incredible! You have a lot of space to park your car. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The wine bar is excellent: cozy and friendly. The service was not good. First of all he offered us only the happy hour menu and we had to ask for the regular menu. Then he confused our order that… there wasnt a problem for us but when we told him he had a rude attitude and he never came back again to ask us for anything!! We felt strange after that. The wines were incredible and the food was just ok. They have an excellent food and wine happy hour. I recommend this place to spend a time without

Google
I came here with my family and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. The portion sizes are great to share with your table if you want to try different dishes. The first thing we shared was the bacon wrapped dates and we were blown away. The bacon was perfectly crisp. I thought the blue cheese filling brought all the flavors together wonderfully. It also came with a dulce de leche dip which paired nicely with the sweetness of the dates. We also shared the beef stuffed peppers which were very juicy and delicious. The peppers came in a smaller size so it was perfect to share. I ordered the salmon tapa that came with vegetable and mushroom stew at the base. The salmon was delightful. Crispy on the outside and moist in the center. I also tried the grilled artichoke and thought it was a bit too salty for my liking. Overall the food, service and atmosphere were spectacular. I recommend paying this place a visit if you’re in the area.

Yelp
Happy Wine in the Grove is a spot! The papas bravas are a standout-- sooo delicious. The wine selection is impressive, many high-quality wines at great prices. The ambiance is perfect for unwinding after a long day. The staff? Super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Happy Wine in the Grove is definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Our server was great and very understanding, I think he works at the bar and also serves the table in the afternoon, and he apologized many times . The food was SO BAD, we had to sent 2 dishes back to the kitchen because they were uncooked, CROQUETAS UNCOOKED Is a disgusting thing to taste (we had to send them back to the kitchen) and then MINUTES later we ask for Burgers Sliders and they were ALSO UNCOOKED and they looked so bland (no sauce, a tiny piece of cheese and the had no onion). The calamari was SO CHEWY and it didn't seem fresh AT ALL. I really don't understand how the kitchen can be so CARELESS OVER AN OVER again. This is the first time I have to get up mid-lunch pay and go because i was already discussed with the preparation of the food
google avatar

Yelp
I have been here a few times and have had great experiences however today the grilled romaine took 40 minutes and the server even got his steak before my appetizer. The last time I had it had more flavor and today was more on the bland side so I'm not sure and I would try something different next time. The dirty plate is still sitting in front of me and I have been here an hour. I think they are busy getting ready for the dinner shift and definitely they don't care about me. But I will be back because I really like the place and maybe they just care more about prepping for Saturday night?
google avatar

Amanda Q.

Yelp
Love this place! Awesome happy hour. Wine selection was a vino lovers dream. Atmosphere has a casual chic romantic vibe. Food was all delicious got plenty of appetizers to share and endless wine glasses.

Yelp
Fantastic Saturday night dinner! Went early for a quick dinner. We hadn't been to Happy Wine in a while and I was craving Spanish tapas so I made a reservation. As soon as we walked in, we pick a delicious bottle of red wine. We started with the manchego croquettas (they were good, not great), followed by the bacon wrapped dates- WOW! These were incredible! We also ordered the pulpo a la gallega, which was really good and the phyllo wrapped chistosas. We ordered the rabbit paella as a main entree. It was good, definitely different. I will try the seafood one next time. Right as desert time was approaching, a lovely duo came in and started singing. It was such a nice dinner. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Absolute GEM! MUST stop in for happy hour or date night. This insanely cute and aesthetic wine bar offers the friendliest service in Miami, an insane happy hour menu, and the best vibes. The meatballs and patatas bravas were so insanely good. I'm dying to come back and try the artichoke from their full dinner menu. A happy hour glass of Sancerre for $8 is *chefs kiss*
google avatar

Barbara M.

Yelp
I think this may be my new favorite place! It's super cute and cozy, great music, and you get yo choose the wine bottle you want to drinks Their Spanish dishes are also delicious (i'm from spain so for me to say this is a really big deal), i'm obsessed with their bacon dates. They also have a very good happy hour monday-thursday from 4-7pm and friday 4-6pm with wine glasses $7-$8 and some tapas for $8. Super worth it! Our server was also in top if everything.
google avatar

Maria A.

Yelp
We arrived to try out the Miami Spice Menu. The food was excellent!!!! Everything was portioned correctly and seasoned incredibly. The oxtail on polenta is out of this world and the churrasco steak was also. The dessert just finished a great meal. The glass of wine that that came with the meal just hit the spot ( and I am not a wine drinker). The service was great all the way through. They were there when you needed them and left you alone to enjoy your meal. The place is what you expect from a wine/tapas place. The ambiance is great with its music and it makes you feel like you have been transported away to Spain. Loved it and can't wait to go back?

Yelp
My sister is a regular at Happy Wine Grove so she decided to celebrate my mom's bday here on Saturday evening. We had the BEST time! Our server (& fellow Tico) Moises was wonderful. Honestly, everyone we encountered & everything we ate/drank was fantastic! We started with a red wine on the house then I moved on to a delicious Sancerre while my mom & sister stuck to red. We ordered a few things off the menu to share: - Olives ( all the olives I had were spectacular & briny & spicy! YUM!) - PAN CON TOMATE & MANCHEGO CHEESE BOARD (delicious! never met a pan con tomate i didn't like & this one was excellent! manchego is also one of my favourite cheeses so great dish!) - BACON WRAPPED DATES (i don't eat pork but mom & sis loved it) - MANCHEGO CROQUETAS (also on the house & also delicious! perfectly balanced & not at all greasy. Crispy, golden outside, delicious creamy melty cheese on inside. loved the accompanying garlic aioli too!) - PATATAS BRAVAS (so good! again, not greasy at all & the spicy tomato sauce & garlic aioli were the perfect compliments to the piping hot potatoes) - SHRIMP AL AJILLO (super delicious & flavourful!) They also brought out an incredible chocolate brownie cake slice with ice cream for my mom's bday. Perfect way to end an already exceptional meal! Must come back soon for the MUSHROOM RISOTTO which I hear is fantastic! love this spot & can't wait for next time.

Yelp
Cozy spot to get some apps, wine and/or beer. Parking was a bit of a challenge but overall a nice experience. The waitresses were attentive and helpful, they kept the apps and drinks coming. This was a work thing and it was a good experience overall. Their charcuterie boards were phenomenal!

Yelp
Saturday Wine Night was a very. Hill here. A date night grrat here. All the dood eaten was very good. We had the croquetas, bacon warapprd dates were tasty. Plates are oerfect to share. We also had paella, risotto was so good. Give it a go in the Grove, and have a nice night in Cocowalk

Yelp
I have been to happy wine a few times now and y'all I will continue to go back! I've quickly become a regular. The wine selection is spectacular and the food does not fall behind! I've tried so many tapas by now and all are divine! The charcuterie board (tabla mixta) and manchego croquetas are always a must! Definitely go!
google avatar

Stefany D.

Yelp
Love Happy Wine! This past Friday was my first time to this location and it was great! They have great lunch specials, which even include a glass of wine and dessert. I tried all the food my table got and everything was delicious! I don't think I need to say this, but they have awesome wine selections obviously! My friends always come to this location because they work right by it and they have our server often and he's the best, was so polite and helpful. Happy Wine is also very cozy inside and everything is very clean!
google avatar

Keysi J.

Yelp
The risotto here will blow your mind!!!! Happy wine is a favorite always!! No matter if you're here for a drink or dinner it allows you to immerse yourself in wines and try so many different bottles you wouldn't maybe get. They have a huge selection of tapas and they are each delicious! The service is always great and helpful. If you go in a weekend they even have live music it's such a vibe!
google avatar

Elizabeth Z.

Yelp
Cozy hideout spot in the middle of the heart of Coconut Grove. This is a great option if you are a wine enthusiast, as you can likely find something new to try. They have a wide selection of wine by the glass and bottles and delicious tapa dishes that's perfect for sharing. Their desserts are also scrumptious. Overall Happy Wine in Coconut Grove is a great place to hang out with friends, date night, coworkers, or family. I particularly like the decoration on the inside, and the feel of the place is quaint. Also the owner is warm and friendly. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow - talk about an amazing experience! This is literally a whole in wall place that is delish!! My friend recommended it and it didn't disappoint. The ambiance is chill and casual and it was a good lunch, dinner spot. We came on a Saturday and there was live music playing. We checked out the different wines
google avatar

Yelp
I wish I could give happy wine 6 stars. This was the second time I went and it was because the first time my sister and I only had a cheese and charcuterie board and we were so happy with it we knew we had to come back. There is a cheese that was introduced to us that changed our lives! It is a cheese with papaya chunks on top. Your taste buds will thank you. The croquetas were phenomenal, the meatballs, calamari, mussels and my friend even had a chicken sandwich that while some may say is basic just from the look of it, they won't feel the same when they try it! Highly highly recommend this place! Friendly staff and a fantastic wine selection as well!
google avatar

Caroline S.

Yelp
The food is always flavorsome. Delightful place and service. You can walk around and pick your own bottle of wine which is always fun.
google avatar

Yelp
Visited happy wine to share some tapas and wine with family. Service was great throughout, even when calling in to let them know we would be late to our reservation and later called again to ask about parking. We were able to park in the little shopping center next to the happy wine building and they provided us with parking validation. Server was very friendly and attentive. There's a huge selection of wines to choose from and to buy to take home. It's a lovely little gem to sit down, relax, and spend time with friends or family. We shared a board, patatas bravas, and ham croquettes, to drink we had a Riesling wine.
google avatar

Jon A.

Yelp
I came here with my wife as part of our first anniversary celebration, and we had a fantastic experience. Andy was very attentive but also gave us plenty of space and was very knowledgeable about the wines. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. "Chorizo en Vino" was probably the best chorizo I've ever had and being of Spanish decent and raised in Miami, I've had a lot of chorizo in my life.
google avatar

Denz V.

Yelp
Fantastic little gem and great place to have a drink or two. Parking is outside on the street (paid) bottles inside for purchase to take home of enjoy inside (corkage fee will be applied) Enjoyed a Nice little happy hour with some good tapas. Was here on a business meeting and it was a good environment to have a conversation. Will definitely come back again.
google avatar

Dina P.

Yelp
I love the ambiance, it's as if you stepped into a different country. The decor , the walls, the visuals are very detailed! The wine is delicious we tried a red blend 10/10. The food was okay, I love tapas but these weren't doing the job 6/10. Overall nice experience to grab a drink and enjoy the space.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot! Not many wine bars in miami so have to make the most out of the ones we have. Great selection of wines and their truffle burata was amazing!
google avatar

Alexandra G.

Yelp
I really like this place, but I also love wine. I do find it to be a bit overpriced at times but what is great is there is SO MUCH SELECTION for food and for wine. My husband and I came after dinner and ordered a bottle as well as a spanish cheesecake which was very good. Atmosphere is nice. Place is medium sized. Parking is always difficult to find.
google avatar

Sebastian J.

Yelp
This is an incredibly hidden gem located in the heart of Coconut Grove. Eduardo and the team offer impeccable service and provide comprehensive knowledge about the massive selection of delicious wines on display. The food is stellar and the venue is always spotless. Because of our schedule we usually are only able to go on Sunday afternoons, but we've heard great things about their weekly happy hours. We will definitely be back very soon. Thanks again, Sebastian, Ivette & Nina
google avatar

Robert M.

Yelp
We came to this place at the last minute on a Friday evening and it was not a disappointment!!! They had live music and the food we ordered was excellent!! Our waitress was always checking up on us and the selection of wine they have is off the hook. Would definitely go again.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic little place, we did dinner at Happy Wine last night and it was a great experience, parking is limited but was not a big issue we got a spot in minutes, well worth it, we try several dishes and we all agreed on great tainting food, good portions, average prices, well presented, a wonderful selection of wines from all over the world also a good selection of imported beers, we had other plans for dessert but we did enjoy espressos, service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive, eager to help, the staff treats every table like is there own, they have a really nice duet that complements the ambiance on Fridays and Saturdays, at the end almost everyone got up and dance, thank you for a very enjoyable experience...

Hernaldo M.

Yelp
Only one server for the entire restaurant. Unfriendly service. Unwillingness to accommodate guests. Delayed on food order even water. We did not even get to eat the last item requested because we were done eating, they took so long to bring it. I asked for it to be boxed to go. They did not even offer to take it off my tab. Waitress brings me the bill and took a long time to charge me. I had to walk up to the front to pay. Been here so many times, and by far the worst experience. Very unfortunate because it used to be one of my favorite restaurants.
google avatar

Mayvi R.

Yelp
I love this place! Love the people, the food and specially the wines lol. Thursday's they have life music.
google avatar

Minerva M.

Yelp
Great wine selections and fabulous tapas. Well, the tapas are outstanding. We ordered the Pinto de papas (super moist and delicious ) and the tabla de cheese and Cold cuts. The wine selection was amazing and you can find from $18 to $300 a bottle, divided by country. Our staff was a sommelier her name is OLGA, ask for her she is amazing and super friendly. however was very disappointed with the music!! it started at 8:30 and it was a couple singing a mix of old Spanish and English songs, the problem is the sound system is terrible and the songs were so mellow that it brings the vibe down too much!! as much as I like the food, wine, and service this is not a place for a Friday night date or celebration
google avatar

Katrina G.

Yelp
I don't know about you, but I absolutely love wine & tapas. I can live off this! Well let me tell you about Happy Wine in the Grove (if you haven't already heard of them). They have live music, a large selection of great wines & tapas! Such a great time. Happy wine has a ton of wines to choose from, you can either buy a bottle to go or pay a cork fee (their wine pricing is very reasonable). Pair that up with some of their tapas such as their meatballs, bacon wrapped dates, croquetas, charcuterie board & boom! This is what you call a perfect night out with your girlfriends, significant other and/or your family. If you are looking for something to do this weekend or for happy hour, check out happy wine in the grove.. there's also a location on 8th street, same concept! Happy hour is Tuesday - Friday from 4-7pm with bubbly starting at $5 and tapas are only $6. Cheers!

Emily I.

Yelp
Great spot in the Grove for Happy Hour! $8 tapas and wine by the glass for around $7-$9. Staff here is super helpful and attentive, and the decor/wine bottles lining the walls are so cute!
google avatar

Sydney S.

Yelp
Such a cute spot in the grove! I drive by it all the time and was curious as to what it was. This is a great date spot to either have a bottle or a glass of wine. It's Spanish style food, so tapas and things like that. I was excited to find some Spain in Miami!
google avatar

Ana F.

Yelp
Great place. Great food. Great wine. Love the atmosphere of this place. Wait staff is excellent. They make great food and wine recommendations. Love the live music and the fun energy on the first floor and the quiet and romantic feel of the second floor. Highly recommend this little gem.
google avatar

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
Great value happy hour with tons of food and wine options. The cheese croquettes are insane good! Excellent service and very comfortable for dining group that grows larger than expected.
google avatar

Mel E.

Yelp
Great wine spot with tons of great wine options! The food was tasty, but lacked salt in some dishes. I'm more of a savory person when it comes to food so that was my only negative. The ham and cod croquettes were decent (too sweet for my taste). The bacon wrapped dates were excellent and perfect. The potatoes were great with the sauce on the side (again, it lacked salt). And the service from Daniela, was exceptional! She's the five-star and for a first time guest, she made the experience wonderful! We had a great time and she handle all 16 of us with no problem.

Maggie R.

Yelp
I recently dined at Happy Wine and was thoroughly impressed by the delectable cuisine, extensive wine selection, and inviting ambiance. The flavors of the dishes were exquisite, and the variety of wines complemented the menu perfectly. Additionally, I found that the communication with our waiter, Pedro, was amazing. He made suggestions on what plates to choose from, the wine that would compliment the plate, and much more. Needless to say, the overall atmosphere and culinary delights at Happy Wine make it a place worth revisiting.
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
MY NEW SPOT! omg this place was incredible. It's a wine store turned tapas paradise. The wines are assorted by country, and there are two prices under each: one for takeout and one if you dine in ($8 more, probably the uncorking fee). We chose an Italian wine. First we ordered the meatballs. The sauce was so good we asked for extra bread to dip, and the friendly wait staff obliged! We then had the manchego croquetas served with a garlic aoli they were INSANE. We finished with the cheese and meat board. It was delicious. Live music started around 8. Would definitely recommend reservations because it was packed by the time we left.
google avatar

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
We live in Miami for many years we know restaurant prices. This place is overcharging for wine. Specially, opening a bottle is $20 that is crazy. This is the same wine I buy at Costco for $10.99. They're selling it here for $20 plus the $20 of corking fee. The croquettes the least inside is ham or cod. It's mostly refined flour it's like a gum inside. Furthermore, the food is not original Spanish food and they're charging a lot as well. Don't be fooled we recommend El Gallego spanish restaurant on SW 8 ST, and Xixon in coral gables .
google avatar

Sarah V.

Yelp
First time at Happy Wine last night and I can't wait to go back. I said it to my friend like 4 times. I don't know how I have never been here before, but it is an awesome wine bar in coconut grove. The wine selection is out of this world and the prices are super reasonable. Then our food was so delicious! Just a unique spot and an awesome concept!
google avatar

Antonio R.

Yelp
Awesome place! Definitely worth returning! Great wine selection and good eats too! Loved the service and ambiance!
google avatar

Adianez F.

Yelp
with over 2000 wine selections it's no wonder you won't find the wine menu anywhere online. From upstairs to downstairs there is an endless amount of wine to choose from and with any different price points as well as the price to take home (aka it's cheaper). highly recommend to make a reservation because many couples and parties do on the weekends. We enjoyed a very nice red blend and a tapa with truffle burrata and serrano ham, exquisite and came with delicious endless bread. perfect date night :)

Margarita S.

Yelp
This place was very good. We enjoyed the ambience and the food was delicious. It was a wonderful night!

Angela D.

Yelp
Gotta Love and Know about WINE. We enjoyed the experience the bacon wrapped dates were very tasty. We enjoyed a pitcher of Sangria me more than her We followed that with mussels the broth and bread mmmmm mmmm good. After filling ourselves up on all of that the fresh seafood paella that we ordered had to become brown bag which we enjoyed for breakfast the next day.
google avatar

Silvia O.

Yelp
Great place, amazing vibe, delicious food and wine. Great for events too. Second floor is a great venue for party's.

Stephanie G.

Yelp
New favorite spot! Delicious food and great service. Perfect for a date night too! So many wine options and all that I've tried have been delicious! If you go, ask for Moses- he has amazing wine recommendations and is the kindest soul. The dates, meatballs, and huevos rotos are the best things on the menu
google avatar

Adyari M.

Yelp
Rekindling the Spanish flare at happy wines has never made me happier. This place has been here for so long and through changing owners and expanding it never lost the integrity of its food and the essence of the small intimate place it once was. The food is excellent, some of the best Spanish food in miami, sangria is to die for, the croquetas one of my favorites, the pan con tomate just like they make it in Spain and basically everything. Let's not forget the boquerones en vinagre which wowed me and the chorizos al vino. Huge selection of wines inside. I can't say enough good things about this place. Truly worth a visit. I assure you you'll be instantly hooked
google avatar

Yelp
I've been coming to happy wine for the last decade! And literally I made a reservation for the weekend after a couple of years and I was so surprised of how look the place looks nice! With an outdoor area, free parking in the open mall next door (you just need a permit from the restaurant to put it on your car dashboard) and the inside looks more like a restaurant now. Still they have an area with high tables but now they also have the other side of the restaurant with standard height tables as well as a private area for bigger groups. I went on a Saturday and definitely a good idea to make a reservation! Starting 8pm, it can get really busy! Also, at that time you can enjoy some live music! We got a bottle of wine, I'm not a big fan of blends but the one I picked was delicious, with deep flavors and Woody taste. We started with the manchego croquetas (super creamy), patatas bravas (if you don't like spicy, highly recommended to ask for the sauce on the side) pan con tomate (refreshing) and some manchego cheese to share, then we got the tortilla española (which comes with some bread and it was really good!) and the huevos rotos which are a must! Delicious potato chips with fried egg and jamón serrano, all mix with a yummy cream! For the dessert, we had the churros (so fluffy!) and the flan. Before I forgot! When you pick up the wine, watch out because they have 2 prices, one is the to go price and the other one is the one to drink it there (the one to go is always cheaper)

Yelp
Great selection of wine, great food, entertainment and great service! Ask for Mabaiah!!!

Yelp
Such a fun place- great food and live music all for a great fun night. Can't wait to go back !
