We ordered the BS1 Happy Boil that came with snow crab, shrimp, sausage, potato, corn, melted butter, some kind of mayo based sauce, and a cup of gumbo, the BS4 Crayfish Boil-- both boils in Spicy/Happy Style, the strawberry lemonade and the lychee jasmine tea with chia seeds. This was a good amount of food for 2 people for a late post work out lunch just to be barely uncomfortably full. Despite it not being in the full swing of crayfish season, we got some the size of baby lobsters in there, which was nice. I usually can't eat super spicy, so this was a nice level of spice (I'd say tamer than sriracha). The food was sosososo good though I would say that the shrimp was a wee overcooked. The drinks are really good though I would say the lychee jasmine tea was a little sweet for my preference, but it was nice to have after a big meal.
Service: 4.5 stars
Nice baseline level of hospitality though I do appreciate the bibs and the heavier duty plastic gloves. I wish we were offered scissors for the crab, but that's on me for not reading instructions.
Venue:4 stars
Plenty of parking since HappyRito is located in an outdoor shopping area. There's some unsettling decals of shellfish with teeth that kind of freak me out, but that's just me nitpicking. Not the largest venue-- the bar/cashier is located in the center of the restaurant, so there's a lack of standing room if you're waiting in line to order. there's a decent amount of seating with some tables, like 2-3 booths, and bar seating. I wouldn't recommend it for parties larger than 6 unless you don't mind getting cozy with your folks. Lots of natural light without the annoying sun glaring at ya, which is nice.
Would I come back?
Absolutely! I'd say this place is a high 4 on my list.
