Hands down the best Chinese food I've had in years. It was my first time there. We ordered 5 different things to share between 3 of us, and it was enough food to fill us up and still have some leftover in the end. It seems to be mom and pop owned, and the staff was really nice. There was a good flow of customers that continued to come in while we were there. I'll be back soon for sure.

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday, and it was quite busy. Fortunately, we were lucky to find parking quickly, though I did see others waiting for a spot. The food was enjoyable—good, though not particularly memorable. Overall, it’s a nice spot with a lively atmosphere, worth a visit if you’re in the area.

A family friend spoke about Harbor City, and we hadn't had dim sum in years, so we decided to give this local restaurant a try. The atmosphere was simple with remnants of the previous restaurant still in use. It was relatively clean with an almost ethnic market vibe. The staff was very off hands and not very communicative, which wasn't an issue since you made your food orders via phone app. The demographics of the patrons were all Korean(I'm assuming based on the language they used), so I found that interesting and fun to hear Korean primarily spoken at a Chinese restaurant. The selection of food was good. A nice variety of dishes to choose from, including dim sum, an assortment of appetizers as well as a wide selection of classic Chinese/American cuisine. We tried Xiao Long Bao, Steamed BBQ Pork Bun,  Steamed Pork & Shrimp Dumpling,  Shrimp Dumpling with Chives, as well a their Mushu Duck The quality of the food was above average, and the dumplings were well made with exceptional care. The flavors had more of a subtle, traditional flavor instead of the overly sugary and salty food of most Chinese/American restaurants we've visited. The Mushu Duck was quite nice, although it didn't come with any green onion, but the flavor was still good. Between the two of us, we had the 5 dishes with good portion sizes as we ate till we were full, and we still had some leftover.  The tab was around $50($25 per person), which, with the quality and quantity of food, we thought was very reasonable. All in all,  despite lacking much personality or interaction with staff, Harbor City is highly recommended for those looking for a local option for Dim Sum and possibly the best option for the South Sound area.  It would be best enjoyed with company so you can order a variety of dishes without breaking the bank.

This is their second location. The parking lot is not that big. It’s in an L shape. The menu is through a QR code located on the table. Dim sum menu was limited. For the most part, they had our usual except for bbq flat rice rolls. They offer full dinner items Iike rice, noodles, soup. But we stuck with dim sum. -Chicken feet -Har gaw -Shu mai -Tendon -BBQ bun Service was quick. Out of the above items, the chicken feet and shu mai were on point. Chicken feet just fell off the bones. The tendon was to too tough that we didn’t finish the rest and the wrapper on the har gaw was so gelatinous and sticky chewy. I only ate the shrimp inside and discard the wrapper. The bbq bun dough was soft, bouncy and moist. Had a lot of bbq filling.

Directed to the right side. Hot tea while you order. QR code menu. But it takes you to their website and you add what you want and after a very short wait they bring it out. I got the Mongolian beef, shrimp dumplings and the bean curd sheet shrimp roll. I have to say this is some of the most flavorful food I’ve had since I’ve been in this state. I loved it and will be back soon to try more. I want to try the honey garlic beef short ribs. More pictures to come but in the meantime check the place out for yourself! 11/14/24 2nd visit sat on the left side this time. Hot tea and QR code. Ordered the honey garlic beef ribs, beef show mein and the shrimp dumplings because they were good the last time. Food came right out. Each bite I took was hot and delicious except the beef in the chow mein. That didn’t have any taste. It’s ok I just took the noodles over to the honey garlic beef ribs ate them together. Listen that honey garlic sauce is the truth. I really like this place. I wish they had a chicken dumpling on the menu. It’s so many options to choose from I don’t know what to get next time I go. Both times I came just before it got crowded. I know in my videos the place looks dead but it gets busy very quickly. They also have a lot of delivery orders or to-go orders.

I want to start off by saying the food is 11 out of 10. This is some of the most flavorful, delicious, satisfying dim sum I have ever had. The service is fine also, but not really friendly, and I really prefer the little old ladies walking around with carts. The restaurant itself, I wouldn't dine in again... It's mostly clean, but a bit rundown. There is a huge issue, and that's this constant computer voice over that announces over a speaker, "The kitchen freezer was opened". I'm sorry but I don't care if that your freezer is opened, and announcing it throughout the whole dining room every couple of seconds is super distracting, and makes for an unpleasant experience. I probably won't be back, cuz it's too far for me to drive to get takeout. But if you live close, seriously some of the best tasting dim sum ever!

Amazing Chinese food! Love the dim sum! The variety of dumplings are great and they all taste excellent. Like to order too much here because it's all so good! Favorite are the shrimp dumplings in chili oil!!! The chow fun noodles are great texture, always want there too! Too good!

Came for the dim sum and wasn’t disappointed at all. Everything we ate was delicious and piping hot. Service was fine, they weren’t overly attentive but I didn’t feel it would’ve been necessary anyway. They were very busy and everyone and by the looks of it I think this is the norm. There was a short wait to be seated, we were served iced water and hot tea then we ordered on our phone and waited for our food to get done. There’s no AC and it may only get hotter in the coming months.
