I'll just go straight to the point about the ER
GOOD: Plenty of parking, security on duty, vending machine in the lobby and nurses reassess your vitals
BAD: Waiting for 12 HOURS in the lobby room and then wait another 3 1/2 HOURS after you are called in for your room to see the doctor. Restrooms are not periodically cleaned, Nurses ignore you unless you become assertive, nurses on their phones at their nursing station instead of checking up or updating patients, doctors abruptly stop talking to you midway to answer phone calls so you have to wait AGAIN, Nurses give off attitudes and rushes you to leave the room after you are trying to recover from what the doctor has performed on you (I was still having discomfort pain and asked for an extra 10 minutes to let myself lay down) No outlets to charge your electronics considering that we have to stay at the lobby for the WHOLE day, and not enough seats in both the lobby and the wait room inside where they call you in.
While waiting in my room to be seen by a doctor, I asked two nurses, "when will my doctor come see me? I have waited all day and I am getting cold, hungry and tired" the first nurse told me to wait for her return with a reply but she NEVER came back. The second nurse bluntly told me, "you know this is the worst hospital emergency to be admitted in, right?" I was stunned to hear a nurse say that. I understand that EVERY emergency will take HOURS to entertain you but this emergency was by far the worst I have admitted myself in; I should have gone to my local emergency instead. This hospital needs better funding and perhaps gives their employees better pay because their attitude tells me that they are hating their job which is affecting their patients.
