Hard Rock Cafe

Hubby and I stopped for lunch. Was a little surprised to find the place pretty much empty. Had a tasty meal, served quickly. Server very friendly. Turns out we got the pushed to do an online survey that was being ‘requested by the manager’. Server told us she selected us because we were her ‘favorite table’ (even tho she said exact same thing to the table next to us- and, we were the only 2 tables filled at that time.) Whatever- just didn’t feel too sincere. We did get a free sundae in thanks. So that was nice. Manager also came out and stopped at our table to thank us for doing the survey, too. Restaurant was your typical Hard Rock, with fun memorabilia, and a gift shop. Setup for live entertainment. After leaving we were still scratching our heads wondering why the place was like a ghost town. Perhaps the earlier LA fires have scared folks away?

Hard Rock in L.A. is great! There is a huge Rock Shop to browse and I was well looked after as a solo guest at the bar. I had the steak salad, swapping the steak for chicken, and it was an excellent choice. The meal came quickly and just as I had ordered it. I had to have my favourite Hard Rock beverage, the "Purple Haze" as well. I had a great conversation with the bartenders and really enjoyed all of the L.A. themed memorabilia on display. Another fabulous visit to the Hard Rock!

Very similar to our last Hard Rock Cafe visit a few days ago in San Francisco. We ordered exactly the same (as we always do!!), the legendary Burger, and we can say it was delicious, as in the majority of the other places of the world where we’ve been. The only thing were the beers. We ordered 2 beers each and all came without any foam on top, they arrived to the table completely flat. Maybe here is normal, but we’re used to drink beer with some foam on the top.

I brought a team of international colleagues to this touristy restaurant because one of them wanted a souvenir. Because of the timing, we decided to dine at the restaurant as well. Service was unexpectedly slow despite the restaurant not being full. Although the server was cheerful and cordial, I had expected more attentiveness. The drinks and nachos arrived promptly and were quickly devoured. Then we had to wait for our entrees. I ordered the surf and turf with the spicy shrimp. I had asked for medium rare, but because of the uneven thickness of the steak, one part was nearly well-done and the other rare. The shrimp were tasty and sparse. The other diners ordered ribs and hamburgers which they enjoyed.

It gets a 1 star rating for the deplorable condition of the lady's restroom and the fact that when my wife tried to inform someone about it at the front desk not one of the 3 people at the desk could be bothered to acknowledge her presence.

The restaurant is great. The decorations is the best part, feels like a museum with a lot of cool stuff. The service is friendly and also very efficient. The store in the front part is really good too!

We ordered 2 items. The original burger (medium rare) which was perfectly cooked and very good. The second meal was chicken tenders. After a bite or two we were wondering what meat these things are? Tough, stringy, weird taste, and chewy. Not good at all. Server removed the charge on our bill and said some people like them, most don't. Kinda wish he told us that earlier. Other than that we enjoyed our experience. Rest rooms were clean and even bought a picture if us there taken by a professional photographer.

How do you give 6 stars!?! Order the Pittsburgh burger! Flavor explosion. David was our waiter and he was super hospitable & friendly. Vibe was great. Full rack of ribs was super soft! Melts away from the bone!

Our server was Erica and she was absolutely fantastic. Very welcoming...had a nice chat with us about our honeymoon and was a genuine pleasure to deal with. She is a credit to the restaurant. The food was excellent too. Our favourite place we've visited so far. Thank you again Erica!!

We decided to go to Hard Rock Cafe after walking in Hollywood Blvd. It was a great choice because everything was perfect. It was not that busy, we were greeted and seated right away. Our server was very attending and friendly. He made us laugh and made small talks. Food was amazing, we ordered flat bread and couple of drinks. It is a nice and quiet place to get food and have conversations after a long walk. I would be back for sure, if I go to Hollywood again. Five stars food and service.

The live music at Hard Rock Cafe was great, creating a fun atmosphere. The drinks were good, but the burgers were just okay nothing special.

We decided to be local tourists today and go to Hollywood and grab some food and see Hollywood blvd. Hard rock was good, food was good and served as ordered. The giant pretzel was really good, a must get. Kids liked the burgers and my salad was pretty tasty. Lots of bar drinks to chose from. Good deserts and other options to choose from. Service was good as expected. Loved the music and memorabilia on the walls. For sure will go back for more. Also note they validate parking for the mall its connected to. That saved us a few $.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat at the bar. From the hosts, bartender, and server everyone was super nice and attentive. Special shout out to Patrick he was very nice. Easy going ambience even though it's right on Hollywood boulevard. I got the shrimp and it was good. :)

My friend had reservations at 7pm on Tuesday night for an engagement party of 30 people. There was a set menu with 6 dinner choices to choose from and we had to order cocktails separately at the bar which was fine but after making our drinks, it took them 30 minutes just to close us out l, apparently their POS system was down and they had to use another one downstairs but that's still a really long time. We all ordered our food and knew there would be a bit of a wait since there was 30 of us. People who ordered burgers and Mac & cheese dishes got their orders first. But somehow 10 of us didn't get our food until (and I'm not joking) an HOUR AND A HALF later. I ordered chicken tenders and no joke it was ridiculous to think it takes THAT much longer to cook than a burger??? They came around saying we had 30 minutes left for our table and a few plates still hadn't come out, i literally had to ask for a to-go box for mine. Some of us confronted the manager because we had to ask a few times where our food was and the manager just came back at us like it was our fault for having too many people??? Ok so maybe don't reserve 3 huge tables at the same time if you can't handle it.

The food was so good!!! Everyone enjoyed their entrees and family family environment if you're looking for one

First time visitor and my large group and I had a BLAST!! Service was OUTSTANDING! Food was delicious, prices were ok and the over one is that of a wild good time The music heard on the overhead speakers was awesome as everything from classic rock, old Motown to Yacht Rock could be heard while we had dinner This was delicious a positive dining experience

I was here today, 5/20/24, and this was my first time at this location. I have been to Hard Rock in other countries but was in the area with some coworkers. What was ordered: -ORIGINAL LEGENDARY BURGER (Fresh steak burger, with Applewood bacon, Tillamook® cheddar cheese, crispy onion ring, leaf lettuce and vine-ripened tomato) -THE BIG CHEESEBURGER (Three slices of Tillamook® cheddar cheese melted on our fresh steak burger with leaf lettuce, vine-ripened tomato and red onion) -Classic Nachos (Crisp tortilla chips layered with ranch-style beans and a four-cheese sauce blend, topped with fresh pico de gallo, spicy jalapeños, melted cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, pickled red onions and scallions, served with sour cream on the side) -BBQ PULLED PORK SANDWICH (Hand-pulled smoked pork with our house-made barbecue sauce, served on a toasted artisan bun with coleslaw and pickles) -SOUTHWESTERN CHICKEN BOWL (Fajita-spiced chicken, quinoa corn salad, pico de gallo, seasoned black beans and red cabbage served on mixed greens tossed in a guacamole ranch dressing) -Chicken Tenders Crispy chicken tenders served with fries) I had the Chicken Bowl and it felt more like a salad. It was HUGE and could have been shared. Service was great and they kept checking on is. It was fairly quiet but then again it was a Monday afternoon. I will be back!

Date of visit: January 2, 2024 Selections: Grilled Salmon Noodle Bowl Experience: Had a Girls Night where we watched "Wish" at the El Capitan. Once we got out of the movies we were feeling a bit hungry and after looking at our nearby options since it was already 9:00PM. So we decided to give this place a go. The entrance for the restaurant was actually through their store and we were seated on the upper level where we could see the kitchen. They had screens in each of the booths featuring various music videos that went along with the music that was playing, so I spent a lot of my time looking at the screens since I was seated across from one. After looking through their menu, I ended up getting the Grilled Salmon Noodle Bowl with avocado added in. Food did a bit to get to us since it looked like they were back ordered based on the tables seated before us that still hadn't gotten their food. But there was a lot to look at between the music videos and the stuff hung up or displayed on the walls. When the food eventually came out, I was hungry. I really enjoyed the mixed of noodles and greens in my bowl and the salmon tasted great. I could've done without the avocado, but I guess it added that extra creamy addition to the dish. I was definitely satisfied at the end of our meal as well as my friends were, so we opted to not get any dessert. Overall, would come back, but probably not right before closing since it seemed a bit slower with service and it was hard to flag someone down for water refills as well as for dips and such that my friends needed with their burger. They also do validate for parking if you parked at the structure.

I was looking for a restaurant in Hollywood (not an easy task) to dine at that is convenient, has a large menu and doesn't cost a lot. I picked Hard Rock Cafe because it was always solid in the past, never dissappointed and I always will have fond memories of the coolest Yelp party I ever attended at the now closed Universal location (sigh). You come in from the boulevard (almost across from El Capitan) through their huge gift shop! We spotted the host (very hard to understand and communicate with) and we were given 20 minutes wait. The restaurant was more than half empty so why the wait? Finally, we were taken to our table by another host and we didn't like that the table was near the kitchen (half empty restaurant, right?) and we communicated to him and he pointed to another table even closer to the kitchen. Like I said, very hard to communicate with the hosts. When we mentioned that we don't want that table either, he got frustrated and pointed to an upper area and told us to wait there for... couldn't understand. We went up there (half empty area) and decided to take a seat at a booth and wait and see. A waiter showed up and off we went! Terrible host service! The waiter was nice, we checked the menu and ordered their Classic Hurricanes (not as good as we remembered, lacking flavor and not strong enough). We continued with their Classic Nachos, let down by the lack of toppings, very cheap with it, a tad burnt, if you want more, you need to keep adding and paying. We continued with the Southwest Chicken Flatbread, a tad too salty, the dough was too thin, it made it harder to eat. Not bad, but had better flatbreads! So food and drinks, not as good as we remembered! Prices way higher! Decor- not very Hard Rock, kinda generic, trying for upscale! Memorabilia - there is, but placed around restrooms and kitchen areas. So look for it, could be a hunt for finding it! The music playing, well... not so rock, more like hip-hop. Not the vibes of different times, more like a tourist trap. I won't be back to use the free desert with a Yelp check in, because Hard Rock Cafe, well, it's not Hard Rock Cafe anymore! At least at his location in Hollywood!

Best place for service & food in Hollywood! Tekla our server and the manager Vanessa along with the other staff members were super sweet and made us feel very welcomed. The food was also delicious! I got the spicy burger and my partner got the pulled pork sandwich both super juicy and flavorful. I would highly recommend for locals and tourists to come by more often. The ambiance was also great, I love some good ol classic rock music playing.

The food was delicious!!! I loved their baby back ribs with fries, Cole slaw and smoked beans. I also had the specialty raspberry sangria and I must say it's one of the best drinks I've had in a long time if not the best. There is also memorabilia from some iconic figures in the music industry. It was really nice to see their collection! I love music The service was good I had a great time. Thanks for all you do and for letting me take pictures.

The food was great, portions were very good and our server Brittany was awesome! Hearing some of the classic rock music from when I was younger added to the cool atmosphere. We would highly recommend eating here!

Giving this one 5 stars because the service is fantastic given most patrons are tourists. They sure don't treat you like you'll never be back. Victor working the bar was outstanding in particular. The vibe is perfect. Love the recessed floor seating and blue lighting is in the groove and beyond. Had apps at the bar and they were delicious. Would easily go back next time on the walk.

Went to Hard Rock Cafe after seeing Hocus Pocus with my cousin and her two children at El Capitan. We had made reservations prior on open table (but still had to wait a bit). Food: mediocre at best. Most dishes were extremely heavy and overpriced. My cousin and I split the nachos and boneless wings. The nachos were okay - just very heavy. The wings were very spicy (not in an enjoyable way). The two girls each got a burger kids meal - which was decently portioned - probably the reason why I would give a three instead of two stars. They also each got a kid sundae. Service: very very very slow. They seemed extremely short staffed and not even apologetic as to how behind and slow they were. Ambiance: there was karaoke for sometime which was a fun atmosphere - but a bit loud. Honestly, wouldn't come back here by choice. Was just convenient for being in Hollywood.

I've been to other Hard Rock Cafe and this is just like the others. Food was like any other chain restaurant.

I come here almost once a week with my family and enjoy it more and more every time! Shout out to our service Tiffany she was so sweet and even brought us a free dessert after our meal!

Sit at the bar, seating suck ( Boston guy ) . Memorabilia blows and it's Hollywood . 5 guitars big fucking deal. Gotta walk through there merch store. So it's about money not Hard Rock Cafe eh..... In Boston it's about memorabilia . Won't come back

I will start off by saying that the best part of my night at Hard Rock Cafe was being able to hear/watch DJ Shai!! She's the reason they have any stars, honestly. Without her music that night, it would have been extremely dead (on a Friday night). Which is not what I expected for a venue in the middle of Hollywood. Shai gave off the BEST VIBES and made my time there fun! The aesthetics were pleasing in general, but the entrance is really confusing if it's your 1st time there. The front of the venue is a gift shop, and you have to walk in further to see the seating host. Getting a table doesn't seem too difficult for any day/night of the week. The food was NOT good. I ordered a salmon Ceasar salad, and the lettuce was better than the salmon. ‍ The fish was extremely salty and difficult to consume, but I was hesitant to send it back as some of the waitstaff didn't come off very friendly. That's a pretty simple dish, which makes me even more reluctant to want to try anything else there. The drinks were decent because I just ordered Casamigos with pineapple juice. It tasted fine, but of course, it was overpriced. This is probably a venue that's solely best for drinks and a show (live DJ or band). I can't speak on parking because I took an Uber there from West LA (about $25 each way) because I really did not want to deal with finding parking in that chaos or walking the streets there alone at night to get back to my car. Overall, I had a great time because of their DJ, but I probably wouldn't go back otherwise.

Excellent burgers and drinks . The loaded appetizer tots came out very soggy so I feel these are hit & miss . Brent the manager was very attentive, checking on tables . Alma was a great server .

Food and service were great. LOVED the entertainment! Great place to hang out after the Thursday Matinee at Pantages Theater.

Family and I enjoyed a fun dinner here after traipsing around Hollywood. We were seated at a comfortable booth with view of the stage. The performer sang a bunch of 00' emo music that I really appreciated listening to for nostalgia's sake. Food was good and service was fine. Southwest Bowl - 4/5 Pretty good! Tender chicken, good portion. Honey Chicken Sandwich - 4/5 Kiddo really enjoyed this. For the price though, slap some more fries on the plate. Impossible Burger - 4/5 Great burger. Again, for the price, slap some more fries on the plate! Potatoes are cheap! Service - 4/5 Our server was a little odd and apologized on several occasions for having an off service. It happens. I do wish servers like him would take to writing down orders versus trying to memorize everything. It never fails that they return to the table and ask us to repeat our order because they forgot it along the way to the kitchen. *sigh*

I ordered chicken fajitas to share with my friend. The menu photo appeared with what seemed to be enough chicken for two people. I was disappointed that the plate was filled with a LOT of green and red bell peppers and what appeared to be 1/2 of a chicken breast! A plate of a lot of chopped up lettuce, onions, guacamole and sour cream were delivered on another huge plate. I believe the portion of chicken was a rip off. Since we didn't want anything else on the menu, we ordered a second order of fajitas - which appeared to include the other half of the chicken breast. Otherwise, the server was professional and seemed embarrassed when we mentioned our dissatisfaction with our fajitas. This is my third time bringing someone on vacation to the Hard Rock. The ambiance is great, the food each tume, not so much.

After an afternoon exploring the city, we found this charming restaurant. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The staff's warmth added to the overall experience.

I love hard rock always have.this location just sucks. They always close early for some reason. They were supposed to close at 11 on Friday and at 10:15 they said the manager said their closing early n they did last call. At 1040pm the bartender was still making drinks I asked for 1 more beer she said no. I asked the bartender what the manager name was she said marina made the call to close early . I wish hard rock city walk would still be open way better service there .

Food was flavorless, and cold. The beer I got poured at my table from a bottle was warm, and she poured it horrible that half of it was foam. The server was nice but they are overwhelmed with tables so you get neglected. Food was way over priced for what it was 4 burgers and 4 drinks and an appetizer was $200.

The burgers are outstanding. The Bangkok shrimp are delicious for an appetizer. The ambiance is the best part. The live music is the only reason we showed up. The Black Crows cover band we saw was the highlight of the night in Hollywood. There was no cover charge which was great. It took a second to get a drink but it wasn't to bad. We got seated pretty quickly. The service was perfect. So much more than a chain restaurant like we were expecting. Thanks for not disappointing.

You know where you are? You're in the Jungle baby!! This was my first time here, it definitely had an old school rock and roll vibe. Lots of framed guitars and music memorabilia along the walls, loud rock music playing all over the restaurant. Tons of autographed photographs and framed glam rock jackets. Its part rock museum, part american resturant. It was a tad overpriced, it felt a little touristy, not exactly a five star place. For the experience it was fun, but the food was nothing that made me want to go back. Our server was friendly but a little odd, I have to say. Nevertheless I loved our drinks and had an enjoyable experience for my first time visit.

Had a great time visiting ! This was my 2nd visit and the customer service from the management and team was top tier! I came for the MI Happy Hour . It was a great addition but would recommend fixing the quality of sound and the mic . Also a mix of artists would be great so the sound doesn't get redundant and draw out ! The Bangkok Shrimp are my favorite

Phenomenal!!!! Came with my boyfriend and was greeted by the amazing gentleman host who seemed to really love his job. He was a young man early 20s light brown hair.And then our server was Paulina who was amazing !!!! She really walked us through and was very patient with our questions. She needs a raise !!! Will be coming back and ask for Paulina if you decide to come .

This was a cool Hard Rock Cafe right in Hollywood. Such great memorabilia displayed and wonderful service at the bar. We had drinks before going out on the town and the drinks and atmosphere were great!

Recommended place to stop by for lunch, during a Hollywood tourist tour. I remember Hard Rock Cafes being around since I was a teenager, and we visited my first one in Calgary in my early 20's. We continued to frequent them as we visited major cities around the world, and started to collect souvenirs (t-shirts, drumsticks, and shot glasses) as simple momentos...so we have a lot of stuff. Often we would just stop by the shop (without frequenting the restaurant) to pick up the requisite shot glass and be on our way. We stopped doing that a while back...we actually came to this location for late lunch (after seeing Oppenheimer in IMAX at the neighboring Mann's Chinese Theater). We checked in, and was told a 30 minute wait for a booth (there was immediate seating at the bar), but we chose to wait. There is a large retail souvenir location where we waited, and it wasn't too crowded on this Monday afternoon. After about 20 minutes, we were seated. It had the same vibe as other Hard Rocks, with mostly 80's music playing loudly (and the accompanying music videos on the scattered tvs throughout)...can't remember the last time I saw/heard 'We built this City' by Starship. Our waiter introduced himself as 'Chuck Norris' while taking our order. He was great throughout (constantly checking up on us)...none of the 'I'm going to be famous...this is just a side gig' attitude that can sometimes be felt while dining in Hollywood. The food is good at Hard Rock, and we reverted back to burgers/sandwiches for our lunch. We've found the burgers to be always good at every Hard Rock, and this one was no different. They serve smash burger style now, along with their classic thick-style (legendary) burger...all on brioche bun. The meat is always cooked well, and my original as a whole was dry...so added ketchup and mustard to remedy that (should have asked for mayo on side). No pickles or raw onions on this version (though it does come with an onion ring). There seems to be a collaboration with Lionel Messi (a lot of Messi branded wear in the store, and a Messi Burger). The sandwiches were around $20, which is reasonable for where you are. All came with thick cut fries....initially I thought they were undercooked because of the color, but found they were fine (crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside). No dipping sauces, so ketchup had to do. They have an active check-in offer from Yelp: free chef's dessert with purchase of two entrees. The chef's dessert is off-menu: a large vanilla sundae. It had really good ice cream, with a large serving...definitely shareable. There are rock memorabilia spread throughout the inside, and there is an area that can be cleared to have a live stage. With LA's importance in the history of Rock'n'Roll, was expecting a bit more, but understand this place was really built for the night with live music and can't get the experience coming in during the day.

Don't come here without a parka. I can't enjoy any meal when I'm shivering. It was FREEZING in there. Probably a grifty manipulation to finagle people into buying a sweatshirt. But even after my husband bought me one and I put it on I was still shivering. Never again! I'm not complaining about the food, I'm complaining about the miserable dining experience.

Surprisingly the wait wasn't that long and service was great. They were pretty fast with the drinks and the items that were delayed the server let us know ETA so we weren't left wondering if it was forgotten. Also a plus our server did refills without us having to ask. The original legendary burger was definitely worth every bite. Bacon grilled to perfection and amazingly it didn't fall apart when I cut it. Fries were on the salty side. Steak salad was delicious - meat was cooked to perfection. The fried onions was perfect topping and cut down on the acidity of the vinaigrette. Also my daughter was offered a free ice cream sundae because it was her birthday

This restaurant is a must do if you love food/rock. The service was great and my waiter was so patient and nice. The food came out hot and came fast and was DELICIOUS.

If I could give less stars I would. Place was packed so they just stopped taking orders. On a Saturday night, At a Restaurant in Hollywood.

Wow, what a disappointment. I have never been to a Hard Rock Cafe in my many years on planet earth. I'm visiting LA for the week and decided to take my teenager there for the experience. We were both extraordinarily underwhelmed. It was pretty empty when we went in there, so that in and of itself was a little weird. Nothing was happening on the stage, it might be more fun if there's an event going on. The server and host were very attentive and informative and really pushed the museum aspect of the restaurant, unfortunately the stuff they pointed out is just not stuff that either my daughter or I are very interested in. The food was ridiculously underwhelming. Very limited vegetarian options although to be fair, at this location they did have a special vegetarian menu, but it wasn't very good. My daughter ordered the vegetarian wings, and said they were edible, but the fake bone was a stick of sugarcane, which made it all too sweet and really weird. I had the fajitas and it was so small. It was actually kind of funny. Also bland. They also screwed up the order but whatever. I had noted in the OpenTable reservation that it was a birthday celebration and no one acknowledged it which was extraordinarily disappointing. This is the second time that's happened. This might be more of an OpenTable problem -- I'm not sure. Anyway, all of that plus they make you enter and exit through the gift shop like it's a ride at Disneyland... No, thanks. I would never go back. And I cannot recommend it.

We went early in the day so the service was excellent and the wait was short. We had a party of nine and they took good care of us. I ordered the deluxe cheeseburger, added bacon, and got a lettuce wrap instead of the bun. It was a simple burger but sometimes a good classic is so good. This was definitely one of my favorite meals on this trip. The burger was cooked just right and was perfectly juicy. The bacon was crispy and flavorful. The lettuce was fresh. While I do feel there is a limited selection on the menu, I feel like the food is good quality. The Hard Rock's are so cool to visit! They have music videos playing of old songs and a lot of cool items to look at. There is a lot of souvenirs too!

Food was okay, nothing to rave about really. We tried the Leo Messi chicken sandwich, ...... not good at all, kind of dry, not really tasteful. Service wasn't great either. Once our food came out, We were forgotten, it took some effort to get anyone's attention to even order our second round of drinks. It just seemed understaffed maybe.

For overall atmosphere, if you're seated in the main part of the restaurant, I'd give it a 4 (we came before a show without a reservation and found seats at the bar which was a little sticky and not as friendly. (Little bit of a bummer as they wouldn't seat us at a table because we didn't have a reservation, but the entire time we dined at the bar there were plenty of open tables in the main room...) The food was okay. We had impossible burgers...one lettuce-wrapped for my gluten-free soul-mate...the other on a regular old bun. We're thrilled that hearty vegetarian options like this exist and appreciate that HRC had it for us. She also had a chocolate shake which was a bit soupier than it should have been. I thought it was cool that they had smaller versions of cocktails on what was called a "shooters" menu so you could try one or two without committing to an entire drink. I had the Lemon Drop Shooter, which was, again, okay...a bit too sickly sweet for my tastes. Overall I got the feeling that this was a restaurant for tourists wanting an experience, as opposed to an upscale dining experience. I wouldn't rush back.

I made a 6pm reservation for Saturday night in advance of our 8pm show at the Dolby Theater. I guess we were on the early side because it wasn't as busy as we'd expected. We were shown to a booth and had menus right away. Our server mentioned that drinks were coming out slowly since the bar was backed up. She wasn't joking. There was quite a scene at the bar. Drinks arrived about 30 minutes after we sat down. Another 30 minutes for food. Nothing fancy, burgers and entrees typical of a tourist chain, slightly over sauced and a little sloppy, but consistent. The restaurant manager did come out to check on us and our progress, which was nice to see. A band was warming up, which was fun for the Hard Rock experience. The music videos on the screens were turned down so we could enjoy a little bit of live music. Unfortunately we ended up having to race out to our show immediately after getting our check. Noted, 2 hours is just barely enough time to grab dinner there before a show. No time to spare.

Really the staff that made this a 3 star instead of a 2 star. Waitress was super new, but really nice. I'd also say that her mentor waiter was really cool and friendly. One of my boys got the wings and he liked them, not the best, but definitely not the worst he's had. The cheeseburger was ok, nothing great, but one of those standard staple burgers. The mac and cheese dish was really odd. The mac and cheese was a little overly cheesy and really didn't go well with the dry chicken on top. We also had the longest wait ever for our food. So long that the super cool waiters gave us a free dessert, which was actually really good. But we were seriously running out of there because we had run out of time before our movie because the food was so late.

As Hard Rocks go, this one is large. I only had a beer and the service was just crazy slow. Everyone was friendly but I shouldn't wait over 15 minutes to get a beer from the tap, at a bar that was less than 1/2 full in a restaurant that was damn near empty.

1/22/2022 - There is no Hardrock Cafe where I live anymore, so I had to stop in to this spot. Especially to keep with my "tourist" experience of Hollywood. Food was decent and hot. If you're 21+, sit in the bar. Bill and Austin (bartenders during our meal) were both fantastic. Bill was absolutely hilarious and made sure he tended to or greeted every guest immediately as they seated. Drinks came up quick with a sly joke or entertaining commentary!

Service was pretty good, server was very...enthusiastic about their job. I respect that, he wanted us to have a good time. Got a Messi burger, I enjoyed it. The thing that needs to end, however, that is detracting stars from this review, is the fact that every 15 fucking minutes some server is yelling TO THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT about somebody's birthday, and let's all wish them a happy birthday in 3, 2, 1,!! For the love of fucking god you need to stop this. Wish them happy birthday quietly at their table, who gives a fuck, but interrupting EVERYONE's meal is ludicrous. In the time it took the three of us to eat a meal we had to endure four birthdays. It's insane and I literally won't be back because of it.

If you're pacing through Hollywood & Highland, & suddenly find yourself hungry, this might be the place to decide to eat at if you don't want to lose the action of this tourist scene. Otherwise, all the other eateries are regular spots, & once you go in, you won't experience the travel destination vibes anymore. But at Hard Rock, it's truly a Hollywood vibe. I think when we sat down to have our meal, we really enjoyed the atmosphere. There's rock music at low volume, servers & bussers running around everywhere, and really cool neon lighting all around the ceiling of the place! And some random memorabilia hung on the walls from random celebrities, too. Look, the prices for the dishes are a little above modest. Not sure if you're getting your money's worth for the food. & I'm not sure if you want to try the newly released "Lionel Messi Chicken Sandwich", lol... But we both got burgers, what we appreciated were the double patties that come with all the burger choices available! Good tasty burgers, but a little on the high end when it comes to pricing.
