"Harmony Hall, West Side. One of the newest West Side spots, Harmony Hall is a German-style beer hall with 30 beers on tap, house-made meats and custom woodwork galore. Still no word on whether they’ve got Das Boots behind the bar, so bring yours just in case."

Best Breweries and Taprooms in Grand Rapids, Michigan - Eater Detroit

"The spacious, westside post of Harmony Brewing Co. is modeled after a German beer hall. It doesn’t have pizza on the menu as it does on the eastside, but the food menu includes poutine, sausages (hopwurst, bulgogi, hotlink, and vegan Italian). The drinks menu is more extensive, however, with more taps, with a number of German lagers to toast the history of the building." - Monica Williams

The menu has changed and it is very limited! We stopped here on a Saturday evening because every other restaurant around had a long wait. We did not realize that they completely changed their menu and there’s not a lot on it. They have several different kinds of pizzas with very few other options. If you’re looking for traditional pizza, this is not it. The food is OK But not anything we would go back for. The inside of the building is really cool and a very different kind of atmosphere. It’s worth checking out if you are looking for somewhere to have a drink and everything else is full.

Terrible service, ordered drinks and didn't come. Waitress came back 20 minutes later and said there were no glasses(needed washing)-they did comp us for those after it took an additional 15 minutes to get them. Had the pretzel with beer cheese. Cheese was hard enough that it had to be spread on with a knife. Had the German pizza, it had almost no sauce and was charred(burnt). I originally thought that the server was just really busy but as the restaurant died down I realized she was just not attentive. I would love to give a better rating but no part of the experience was good. Most likely won't return

I am absolutely BLOWN away with how good of an experience I had last night at Harmony Hall. This was my first experience at this location, and I can’t wait to go back. The overall decor is SO cool - kind of medieval meets modern. The beer was great, lots of IPAs on tap. The service was excellent - couldn’t have asked for better. And the food was UNBELIEVABLE. We got the chili cheese fries, a beyond brat, and a spicy chickpea sandwich (not pictured) - ALL VEGAN! By far a top contender for best vegan food in Grand Rapids. AND they take covid precautions very seriously. Highly recommend!!

New food menu focuses on pizza. Still has the same drink menu. Pizza we tried was C3PO and it was pretty good. Dough was good, fresh, and the perfect much of doughy and crunchy. Down side is the downstairs where all the cool decorations from the old building is always closed ( they only open it for special occasions). Upstairs has one full patio and one half patio. Most of the seats are a bit uncomfortable so if you have back problems make sure to get a booth.

We absolutely loved Harmony Hall! Their environment was very unique and the staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend the hot link sausage and the hot fried chicken sandwich. You should also try the luscious lion and trisourtops brews!

The food and beer was pretty good, and the service was great. Very cool atmosphere, apparently the owner has made some of the tables in the restaurant area of the brewey... very cool. I would definitely recommend stopping here for some food and a drink. I got the "Handsome Ben", it was good.

Good choice of their beers. Enjoyed a Black Squirrel Porter which was dark and brooding. Our sausages, poutine, burger, and grilled cheese were very tasty. We upgraded from chips to house made fries. Enjoyed the handmade dipping sauces. We were happy with the food, beer, service, and jazz trio. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the "value for money" will keep me from coming back a lot... $14 for a large sausage on a roll with fries? I would expect $9 to $10 for those portions. Still, it was well made with great flavor, so 4 stars it is.

Great location, the old Little Mexico, great service, drinks and food! Have been twice now and each time was great. They have an upstairs and street level bar. Balcony and Windows to open in the summer. Sausages were awesome! Cozy and great feeling atmosphere with a very large taplist
