Rooftop spot for fancy cocktails & choice bites on the roof of 1 Hotel, with Manhattan views.
"Revel in some of the city's most cinematic views—spanning the Statue of Liberty all the way to Uptown Manhattan—at this 4,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor venue atop 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge . The space is oh-so-Brooklyn industrial chic: outdoors, there’s stadium-like seating made from pine beams of Brooklyn’s original Domino Sugar Factory, fire pits, and vertical gardens. Indoors, expect a new-fashioned take on an old-fashioned cocktail lounge. Book a table at either space online and look forward to glamorous and refined—yet unfussy—affair." - Abbe Baker, Carey Jones
"I have never seen Manhattan look sexier than it does from the corner window table at Harriet's after the sun goes down and one million dazzling little lights shape the borough’s famous skyline. And the bridge is in the foreground, to boot. The drinks are strong, the food does the trick, the music is good, but it’s the view that keeps me coming back. -E.F." - CNT Editors
"Harriet’s Rooftop at 1 Hotel in Dumbo has some of the best views of any bar in the city. The big, wraparound space overlooks the Brooklyn Bridge and downtown Manhattan, and there’s a reservation-only pool area where you can look out at the Statue of Liberty. Besides hotel guests, this is a popular spot for tourists after they devote half their iPhone storage to pictures of Grimaldi’s and the Brooklyn Bridge. It gets very busy, but if you find yourself in Dumbo early on a weekend, then grab seats at one of the small tables, order some wine and bar snacks, and enjoy the incredible views." - Matt Tervooren
