11 Not-So-Traditional Pizzas to Try in Miami

"Because short rib should not be limited to a plate, this favorite pizza spot from renowned chef Michael Schwartz offers it on a pie paired with Gruyere, caramelized onions, and arugula." - Alona Martinez

Harry’s Pizzeria Review - Coconut Grove - Miami - The Infatuation

"No matter which Harry’s location you go to, the Neapolitan pizza is consistently great. But the one in the Grove is both casual and still nice enough for a date, weekend dinner, or any random night when you can’t remember the last time you had pizza. The crust is big and bubbly and the dough is soft, but it’s still a foldable slice you can eat with your hands. Toppings range from your typical margherita to rock shrimp or the excellent bacon and potato pie. There are snacks and a small entree selection too, but stick to the pizza and maybe a warm chocolate cookie if you’re still hungry." - Ryan Pfeffer

Harry’s Pizzeria specializes in brick oven-cooked pizza, offering a single size with a thin crust. We ordered the Italian sausage pizza, and while the bottom of the crust was cooked perfectly, the top had a few charred spots—which is expected with brick oven cooking. Overall, the pizza had great flavor. We also ordered the homemade meatballs, and I actually enjoyed them more than the pizza. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, though the outdoor seating is limited to a few tables on the sidewalk. We opted to sit outside. Overall, we had a good experience, though I found the prices a bit high for a 10-inch pizza. The staff was responsive and attentive to our needs. It’s a small place that always seems busy, but we’ll definitely be back to try another dish.

Google
Such a nice spot to have a restaurant and such a below average pizza. This prosciutto with the honey one has great filling but pizza’s dough is terrible, hard and just not tasty. Pizza has a great potential but still some work to do. Not sure whether it is a dough problem or they just overcook it. Wheat beer was decent.

Google
Incredible pizza in Coconut Grove! $10 for any pizza during happy hour (4-7 pm). $4 fountain drink. Delicious $4 homemade lemonade. One pizza was the perfect size for two people to share. You can sit inside or on the street. Definitely recommend 👍

My 1st time ordering from here last night, I wanted to love it but my pizza was DRENCHED in grease, an absurd amount dripping off each slice. I could collect a whole tbsp worth of grease from each individual slice. I ate 2 slices & tossed out the rest. Did I mention they accidentally burned the 1st pizza as they were making it? I had to wait longer for them to re-fire this heart attack of a pizza. Unfortunate too, because I've heard good things about this spot.

Brianna and Jessica were amazing! We came to make pizza for a friends bday celebration. They were so attentive and helpful! I was so impressed by their friendliness and attention. Thank you so much!

Google
I recently visited Harry’s Pizzeria and had one of the best dining experiences ever. I tried the Mushroom Truffle pizza, and it was absolutely incredible—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was equally impressive. Jonathan, our server, was exceptionally professional, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and outstanding service. I can’t wait to come back!

Google
This was my first time trying Harry’s. So I ordered a pepperoni pizza with sausage, along with their mozzarella sticks. The pizza was divine!!! The mozzarella sticks were honestly disgusting- I’m not sure why because I saw a video of the best mozzarella sticks and Harry’s was the top 5. I’m wondering if it is because I ordered them for delivery?!? But they were gross, I had to threw them away. Will definitely go to Harry’s the next time.

Google
My son and I stumbled upon Harry’s shortly after his move to Miami. Polenta fries and the spicy pepperoni pizza were delicious and we also enjoyed the special eggplant pizza—different and good! We were asked for our feedback on the special pizza, so it definitely seemed as though our opinions mattered. Busy spot on a Sunday night and we will be back!

Yelp
I visited Harry's to try their June feature, Mio's Mapo Eggplant Pizza. Each month, they showcase a special pizza, and I was excited that my friend's creation was selected. It was absolutely delicious, and the chili oil made it even better. That said, I was taken aback by the staff's attitude toward my order. Quay was highly critical, and if I hadn't already known the ingredients or wanted to support Mio, I might have been discouraged from trying it. She even mentioned that other customers hadn't liked it, which was hard to believe. I brought a friend from California who also loved it, and we both agreed it was even better than the mushroom truffle pizza. Although that one was tasty too. We ordered the two pizzas as part of the meal deal, which included an appetizer. We chose the chicken wings, and I can't stop thinking about that hot honey, it was incredible! I could put it on everything. Despite the service hiccup, I'll definitely be back. The food is too good to stay away.

Yelp
When we arrived, we were seated, and the host brought us water, letting us know our waiter would be with us shortly. However, it took 12 minutes for the waiter to arrive. Once they did, we placed our order, which included the mushroom truffle pizza. While waiting for our food, a staff member came out to inform us they had run out of mushrooms for the mushroom truffle pizza. She offered to substitute it with the pizza of the month, which also featured mushrooms. We agreed to the substitution. After another long wait, our food arrived, including a pizza that we assumed was the pizza of the month. Upon closer inspection, we realized it was actually the mushroom truffle pizza--just without any mushrooms. This was confusing and disappointing, as it felt like they had served us a half-finished dish without explanation. After we finished eating, another staff member brought out the pizza of the month. When he saw we had a pizza already, he took it back to the kitchen. The entire situation reflected a serious lack of communication in the kitchen and poor service overall. No one acknowledged the mistake or made an effort to correct it during our meal. In the end, the waiter offered to remove the pizza from our bill but failed to follow through. This added to an already frustrating experience. The poor service and lack of accountability left a bad impression, and we will not be returning.

Yelp
We came here on a Friday night for their happy hour ($10 pizzas!) We wanted to eat outdoors but there weren't any tables available. We opted to sit inside, but the tables were super close together. We asked to be moved to a different table but they wouldn't allow us because it was a 4-person table (disappointing). We ended up moving to the bar. We ordered the harry's chopped salad, Margherita pizza, and the focaccia bread. The salad came out right away. i really liked the tangy, citrusy dressing and the olives and mozzarella cheese were nice additions to the salad. The focaccia and pizza took about 45 minutes to come out. We were starving. However, it was worth it! The focaccia was so warm and fluffy with a crunchy herb crust. It was served with herb butter which needed a bit more salt. The pizza was so good, great sauce, and they allowed us to put burrata on half. I asked for a side of hot honey to drizzle on top. Our waiter Ryan was very great, but was disappointed in the hostess and other man (looked like maybe a manager) who were not flexible at all with the seating. I would stick to ordering pizzas to-go in the future.

Yelp
Something about the Grove that I really like is the casual atmosphere to just walk around and explore. We got hungry and decided to stop by Harry's Pizza. It's been a minute since we last had some. The managers lured us into trying their pizza of the month JRK! Chicken Pizza collab with JRK and it was well worth it! Jerk seasoned tomato sauce, mozzarella, fontina, peppers, red onions, cilantro, spicky jerk sauce. Also tried their popular PROSCIUTTO & HOT HONEY pizza to die for!! Oh as an app, we had the Brussels Sprout & Burrata, delish! Along with a couple of drinks and call it a night!

Yelp
I recently started working in the are and wanted a big, hearty delicious salad for lunch. I had been doing SweetGreens for the past few days & wanted something different. Not sure why it occurred to me to check Harry's menu (maybe my subconscious REALLY wanted pizza?!?) but I'm so glad I did!!! I chose HARRY'S CHOPPED (romaine, carrot, red onion, fennel, tomato, white beans, farro, mozzarella, kalamata olives, creamy lemon dressing) and added FREE-RANGE CHICKEN BREAST. Literally one of the best salads I've had in a while. So delicious, fresh & satisfying! So many yummy ingredients that went perfectly well together! Definitely worth the $25. Already eyeing their ORANGE + RADISH salad to try next time although I can'y imagine how it could top THIS masterpiece!

Yelp
Harry's is a staple in the Miami pizza scene! They have great affordable pies with good flavor and even add a fun new flavor from time to time One of our very own Yelp Elites, Mio K., had her pizza flavor featured for the month of June! This pizza was filled with flavors including those from the ground beef, shallots, scallions and cilantro! We were obsessed with! The Italian Sausage Pizza we ordered during happy hour and it ended up being really yummy as well! We also liked the pepperoni chips but note that they're salty! We didn't mind! The service was great and our server was very attentive and friendly! We really liked the layout of the restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating and they even played the soccer game we were hoping to catch! Harry's gives you the local pizza place vibes but with elevated flavors. I highly recommend stopping by for happy hour or trying one of their specials if you want to try a couple pie flavors!

Yelp
Delicious food. Great happy hour and friendly service. One of my favorite places in Coconut Grove. Thank you

Yelp
I've ordered pizza from here several times on Uber and it's been good but nothing like eating it straight out of the oven! So hot and fresh, the motz cheese and sauce melt in your mouth and the crust is crispy and light. Their apps are also great! The gnocchi and rigatoni seem to be a hit because they were all sold out by 9 pm so hopefully next time we'll get to try their pasta! Great ambiance, super nice servers too. Would go back!

Yelp
Finally!! a good pizza place with a good price! It's so hard to find a good pizza these days and I was really impressed by Harry's pizzeria. We absolutely loved the sourdough tasting crust, the flavorful tomato sauce, and the toppings. We opted for the mushroom pizza and the margarita pizza and both were really delicious. I loved The flavors and the freshness. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Yelp
Love the service! Love the food and love the drinks! Plus the area! We have tried a few different ones and all great.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious pizza spot for Happy Hr! Their pizzas are $10 each and a great size to come share with some friends a couple different flavors of pizzas! The service was great! We sat outside so it was nice and by where everyone walks by so you get to see all the different people and dogs walk by

Yelp
Went to Harry's to try their April monthly pizza special Tasso Den (Haitian fried turkey). The service was good. The pizza itself was ok. I felt the pizza lacked flavor. The server provided a spicy sauce that enhanced the flavor for the pizza. Now, the wings were on another level.. So goooooooood. The pizza attempt was great but the execution fell short of my expectation. Will try them again.

Yelp
Five star pizza experience if that's the sole reason you're coming here. Shared a hot honey prosciutto pizza that was customized vegan cheese and half pepperoni. Fantastic. They didn't have any issues with the customization and Harry's continues to have one of the best vegan cheese options out there. The starter green salad was not fresh at all. The carrots were unpalatable. Greens washed out. Not worth the price. I would not recommend or re order. The cookie was average but over salty. I would not reorder. The bathroom cleanliness was not great. Roberto was a good server. They had a uniquer beer menu which was welcome, particularly their gluten free beer from Barcelona. It was enjoyable. The place could be a bit cleaner for sure. The main pizza experience was outstanding, but everything else weighed down the overall rating.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been to Harry's! Came for a date night, sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple pies. The spicy pepperoni was our fave! Glad we tried the October special, but it was a little sweeter than I thought it would be. So glad they still have the chocolate chunk cookie. One of my fave cookies in Miami!! It's always warm and gooey on the inside. Service was quick and friendly. The bartender even replaced my wine for a beer when I didn't like my initial order. Recommend going during happy hour for $10 pizzas and 1/2 off beer and wine!

Yelp
I don't normally go out of my way for pizza places but my husband is a pizza aficionado. We discovered Harry's while exploring the Grove and came in on a whim to try a pie. I had the truffle mushroom pizza and it is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It's a creamy light mushroom mix that melts in your mouth. The pizza is made fast! We got ours in 5 minutes. The ambience is cute. Nice place to hang out, quiet. Service was good. We would both come back.

Yelp
Cute little spot in the heart of coconut grove to grab a slice of pizza. Overall this is a little whole in the wall with not too many tables inside but they also have a cute small bar with a few seats and about 5-6 tables outside. We decided to stop by here today since we usually drive by it and had wanted to check it out for quite some time. We sat at the bar and had quick and great service. It wasn't too packed but a good amount of people for being a Sunday afternoon. On their menu they have a deal for $46 where you get an appetizer or salad and 2 of their pizza pies. We opted for the appetizer and chose the polenta fries with spicy ketchup. They were actually delicious, fresh and buttery. The spicy ketchup was a great touch! We then chose the spicy pepperoni pizza and their March pizza of the month which was a 9 spice pizza. Overall the pizza was ok. They make it fresh and make them in their wood fire pizza oven. I wouldn't say it was the best pizza ever but just ok. If we came back I definitely would want to try some of their different pizzas.

Yelp
Yummy pizza spot with cute/casual ambiance and friendly service! We had the margarita and cheese pizza which both had perfect crispy yet soft crusts and flavorful sauce. And good cheese of course. We also had the wings which were SO tasty and had a perfectly sweet yet spicy hot honey sauce. They were crispy on the inside but the meat was so tender still. We sat at the bar which was nice and got to chat with the waiter about lots of the menu items- he was super helpful and friendly. Would definitely return here when I want pizza!

Alian M.

Yelp
Ordered take out. Told 30 min. Then bartender 10 min. Then manager told to wait another 30. Worst service ever. Had to leave because I had enough dishonesty.

Yelp
Hands down the best mushroom pizza I have ever had. I would gladly make the trip just for this pie. Mushroom truffle pizza with cremini mushrooms, porcini cream, black truffle, fontina, taleggio and thyme. Service and ambience are nice. This place is right across from Cocowalk. I've also had their short rib pizza which is great too, but mushroom is king here in my book. Gorgeous brick pizza oven. Quiet place for a delicious slice. My kind of spot.

Yelp
I ordered 3 pizzas for delivery by Uber eats and every single one of them was overcooked and dry. I took them back and I was told that they would have Uber eats refund me the money by the next day, that didn't happen and after calling the restaurant everyday for more than a week with no results I went back and they gave me a gift card instead of my refund.

Yelp
Excellent Wood Fire Pizza, with a good selection of unique pizza. Quick, friendly service at a good price.

Yelp
On our final night in Coconut Grove, we figured we'd try something very close to our hotel and Harry's Pizzeria had caught my eye early on. We showed up around dinnertime and immediately grabbed a sweet window table. A quick glance at their menu immediately led me to their May special, the Tacombi Birria Pizza ("beef brisket, oaxaca cheese, fontina salsa verde, cilantro & onion, crispy tortillas, served with birria broth"). It arrived a short time later and looked absolutely magnificent. And my first bite told me it tasted just as good as it looked, if not better. They've really replicated the flavors of a birria taco to a T. The tender beef brisket, the zesty salsa verde, the bright cilantro... It's all just so delicious. And that cup of birria broth just kicks the whole thing up to an even higher level. It was easily one of the best pizzas I'd eaten in ages. Our server was super friendly and approachable, too. If we lived in the area, this would be a go-to spot for me.

Annie V.

Yelp
Same problem, 3.00 for a few mushrooms! Pretty sure the owner of Harry's is a millionaire if not beyond that with all his other restaurants and this is what you get for three dollars one little mushroom chopped up pathetic I'm done with you. And don't send me a note stating you want to send me a pizza for free with mushrooms.
google avatar

Rebecca R.

Yelp
Happy hour is 4-7 pm on weekdays and it gets packed! All tables were full to take advantage of the half price pizza, beer, and wine special. However, the staff does a good job of trying to attend to everyone and keep things moving. The beer selection is extensive for a restaurant this size with several local options. I tried the mushroom and truffle pizza recently and it was amazing. I'll definitely be coming back for it. For appetizers, Ive always enjoyed the brussels sprouts and burrata, and the polenta fries are something I often crave. They're the right amount of crispy and salty outside, yet tender and full of flavor inside. The bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner, though.
google avatar

Marina K.

Yelp
Nice spot, but the service was terrible! Pizza was way too oily and took 30 minutes to get. No one ever asked us how everything was. Nothing!!! We had to go inside to get crushed pepper and napkins. Hard Pass!

Roger N.

Yelp
Always greeted with a smile at the front door, excellent service, food prepared quickly, glasses never go empty, and the pizzas are always delicious.

Erin S.

Yelp
Awful!!! Waited over 2 hours for delivery and they kept pushing back delivery time : 45 mins, 30 more, 25 more.. two hours later and still no pizza! My uber eats driver has been there 45 mins waiting so not her fault. This is the slowest, worst pizza to order for delivery and frankly not even great pizza co side g your other options. Save yourself the agony of thinking you will get pizza dinner for your family. Do NOT order from Harry's !! No respect for customers or their families. Never again. Ps I had to put one star to post this but it deserves negative stars !

Jeff G.

Yelp
I have reviewed Harry's very positively in the past, but my most recent experience was more than disappointing. We placed an online order, estimated time for pickup was 706pm per the website. I arrived a little early, the host/hostess found my order in the computer and said it would be out shortly. It was not. It finally appeared 40 minutes late, at exactly 746pm, documented in my phone. During those 40 minutes, I was told by the same person twice more that the order was "close." That was untrue and that same person knew or should have known that. Customers need to know about such poor service. Now you have been warned. Two stars because at least the food was hot when I could finally carry it out.
google avatar

Yelp
Mozzarella sticks were obviously home made and cheesy. House salad is delicious and unique. Chill ambiance
google avatar

Darci P.

Yelp
Great pizza place in coconut grove. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive while we had lunch here. The restaurant was pretty open for indoor seating, did not have to wait. Lots of take out orders happening while we ate. Ordered the Spicy Pepperoni pizza and it was excellent. Walked in extremely hungry and it hit the spot. We asked for light chili flakes and they were more than happy to accommodate. The pizzas are a little bigger than personal size. If you're a table of 2 or more, you should definitely order two pizzas. Will definitely come again!
google avatar

Javier R.

Yelp
Went to Harry's for the first time. And honestly I didn't expect my wife to like the pizza so much. The meatball appetizer was delicious. The tomato sauce was great. The service was excellent and the food came out super fast. Definitely will return.
google avatar

Yelp
Still a great spot for me, I have been a few times since my last review, and they never disappoint. It's a small lil pizzaria in Coconut Grove. My favourites are their delicious appetiser which is big enough to share with a any lucky guest that you invite! -It is their burrata brussel sprouts salad. It is creamy with an amazing sauce that I lap up with any accompanying pizza I get (Lol), the pear slices, and pistachio nuts are a match made in heaven! Another of my favourites is their rock shrimp pizza. This has lemon juices squeezed on top. I always ask for extra cilantro and scallion, which they happily adhere too. I also tried a new pizza recently (it was their monthly speciality pizza). It was the gorgonzola with peach slices. My oh my, please add this to your regular menu as it was a hit, hit, hit for me. To be noted they also offer a happy hour - see their website to ensure you get the days and times correct!.. whereby they offer half price on wines, beers and pizzas! A great deal. When you know, you know, people., (You are welcome)

Yelp
Cute and small pizza shop with inside seating. Located in Fun and lively neighbor. Food and service was fast and delish!

Yelp
Harry's is back. Been coming since day 1. Harry's has had their up and downs, but they are back. Came today with my sister and we had such a great experience. Food and service were top notch.
google avatar

Eric F.

Yelp
Great Experience! Originally my second choice but glad I went here! Waitress was very pleasant despite being overworked and busy. Continues to check up on us. Ordered meatballs pizza and wine! First, prices are great can't be beat. Meatballs were good, but pizza was excellent. Neat fresh hot and quality. I also received mozzarella sticks as a comp bc the pizza took longer than expected and I didn't think it was a long wait at all but the gesture was very much appreciated. Super happy I received them because they were very very good as well. Zero complaints and appreciate the great service and managerial gestures. My son left with a full belly.
google avatar

Jorge B.

Yelp
I really like the pizza at this outpost of Harry's Pizza. The service was excellent and the pizza was thin and crispy just how I like it. I highly recommend this place

Amanda Z.

Yelp
As a once loyal customer, I will NEVER return to this place. If you have any food restrictions, avoid this restaurant at all costs. My boyfriend has gluten intolerance, but isn't affected by cross-contamination, so the gluten-free crust has always been fine for him. We always order it. Today, we ordered his usual gluten-free pizza, and only after he had eaten it and paid did the waitress inform us it was a regular pizza. Her response was a hollow, automated "sorry" and nothing more, while my boyfriend was vomiting around the corner. Pretty sure the manager overheard our convo and didn't even look my way. Absolute zero in customer service. Zero empathy. NEVER AGAIN.
google avatar

Phoenix 7.

Yelp
Great service I ordered vegan, as I'm lactose intolerant. This was good, but had extra cheese. One ball of sausage. No herbs. For some reason, celery and celery leaves seemed out of place. No peppers. Great crust and sausage, but was bland. Great potential!
google avatar

Christopher V.

Yelp
The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Grove. There are a limited amount of tables outside so be prepared to wait if you bring your pup. The staff is always friendly, the food isn't great. The flavor just isn't there, and I have a feeling Harry's won't survive once NY Roma Pizza reopens across the street. I wouldn't go back.
google avatar

Dom P.

Yelp
Great Pizza, Jonathan our server was a pro & Robert the Mgr was super friendly and helpful!
google avatar

Yelp
Half-price pizza (and beer and wine half-off too!) for Friday night happy hour? I'm in! The white pizza was good, but ratings improved with a side cup of red sauce for dipping-- totally yummy! My dining mates gave positive reviews for the spicy pepperoni pie and the mushroom pizza, too... Yep, I'm already planning my next half off visit. Woot!
google avatar

Greg S.

Yelp
VERY good pizza . Dough is fantastic but often doesn't have enough tomato sauce and a bit small. I'd say it's right out there with Mr01 but below Lucali
google avatar

Yelp
The new mushroom truffle pizza ;( so disappointing!! Bring the old one back. The new version has no truffle flavoring, was not impressed at all.
google avatar

Madeline P.

Yelp
We just ordered pizza and beer right from Harry's website as we sit at Peacock Park listening to the Miami symphony as we wait for the fireworks & drone show to start. We had the hot honey & prosciutto pizza, which was divine! The prosciutto was lean, yet moist and savory. It was the perfect amount of sauce & cheese and the crust was light with just the right amount of crisp. Ordering from their website was quick and easy and they texted us when our order was ready, which was exactly when they said it would be. Service was friendly and they even threw in a free bottle opener so we could open our beer! Excellent all around.
google avatar

Veronica A.

Yelp
Finally stopped as a Local here, wow was I missing out ! Amazing. Brussel sprouts, and pizza that made me feel was made just for me fresh, soft and the surprise of fresh mozzarella in my Brussels will get me back again! Sat at bar and the girl was so attentive too! Felt like fam there in the environment::)

Yelp
Been coming to coconut grove a lot lately, and this is a solid pizza place. It's all street parking so you'll get lucky if you find it around the establishment or can always park at the coco walk parking garage. There's also a school in between the park and harry's where after certain hours can park and pay a flat rate. The service is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get someone fantastic and others very non helpful. They have a couple meal deals that are interesting. They have one that's for about 2 to 4 people that includes and appetizer or salad and two different pizzas. They also have another that is for 4-6 people and includes an appetizer, a salad and three pizzas. Usually when i go with a big group this is my go to option. The mozzarella sticks are very delicious and huge in size. They're a big step up from the regular frozen ones. They're so fresh and can tell they're home made. The pepperoni chips are also very delicious and fresh. The cesar salad is also one of my favorites and does come with anchovies on it which are delicious. As far as the pizzas go some favorites are: -spicy pepperoni pizza (soooo good and not too spicy) -mushroom truffle pizza -short rib pizza -and my absolute favorite, prosciutto with hot honey! A lot of options for pizzas and overall nice ambiance with dim lighting after the sun goes down.

Yelp
We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed two personalized sized pizzas. The pizza was fresh and made to order. Loved the marinara sauce used on the pizza. The dough was perfectly crisp and tasted. We will have to return to try their dinner entrees. Location has indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Ruth M.

Yelp
Good wings and happy hour specials... Only 2 beer choices. Pizza were not great, despite the name.

Yelp
Hadn't visited in many months so got a margherita pizza and polenta fries for takeout. Pizza was perfectly cooked, great crust, a little char. And the polenta fries...I remembered they are one of my favourite dishes anywhere. Not overly seasoned, they are crispy outside and firm inside. And the marinara sauce that accompanies has great tang, a little spice, slightly sweet. I could eat this every day.
