San Diego’s Best Brunch Restaurants | Eater San Diego

"Twenty-five years ago, Johnny Rivera and chef Andy Beardslee brought their satiating breakfast dishes to San Diego when their Midwest-influenced brunch spot debuted in Hillcrest. Two decades later, the OG location — which has since expanded to nine other outposts across the country, including in Las Vegas — continues to impress diners with its nationally recognized “twisted farm food” like sage-infused fried chicken and waffles. Indiana-style waffles made with flour batter from South Bend and powdered sugar, smoked bacon caramel flapjacks, among other farm-meets-urban dishes are offered daily. From the bar, a variety of bloody marys are available, the regulars’ favorite being the B.L.T Mary with the bacon, a romaine leaf, and freshly grated tomato, served with a side of toast — for diners who want their drink to sate them, too." - Roxana Becerril

The Best San Diego Breakfast Restaurants | Eater San Diego

"This perennial favorite is famous for its generous portions and creative combinations like the towering Andy’s Sage Fried Chicken that customers can order atop a stack of waffles or eggs Benedict. The BLT Bloody Mary is a giant cocktail garnished with heirloom tomato, lettuce, and crispy bacon, accompanied by white toast so that uou can make your own alcohol-infused BLT." - Candice Woo

We came at about 9am for breakfast, and the atmosphere and staff was great! Very charming, friendly and quick! The drinks here were amazing! The visuals for the food are great! The esthetic seems to be the bigger the better! However, the taste of the food needs improvement. The waffles aren't sweet, the syrup isn't sweet to make up for it, the biscuits are VERY dry, the potatoes are undercooked and unseasoned, the chicken is unseasoned, the food came out cold, and more. It just just didn't live up to the hype for us.

Google
Went there last hour of brunch time! Their portions are ginormous- they’re known for that! We got the chicken something Benedict - great layers and good complementing flavors. The French Banana Latte was really good. Not too sweet but great flavor for sure! The server was great and attentive. We sat in a little squished in corner, I didn’t care for that. But overall good everything 😁 worth a try if you’ve never been 🤷🏻‍♀️

Google
Pretty good chicken breakfast sandwich. Their gravy was pretty good as well, but the star of the show were the pancakes l. The Pancakes were large and delicious. I wish there was more syrup given. Service was top notch in sped and attentiveness. Overall this is a great place to go for a delicious meal!

Google
Quant spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch. We arrived mid-morning on a weekday so no wait to get to our table. Food pleasantly plated and tasty as well. Husband had a humungous pancake with lots of thick bacon cooked into the batter. I enjoyed the Indiana Sage Fried Chicken Salad which included candied pecans and a huge biscuit on the side. We would go back next time we're in the area.

Hash House A Go Go - San Diego's menu has changed since we went to the one in Vegas. The portions are huge and the wait is long. I definitely suggest making reservations, and I'm glad I did. We walked right past the line and sat down. I got the corn beef hash with lightly scrambled eggs. Wavey Crockett got Andy’s sage fried chicken. Both meals were good and filling. While nothing beats Detroit corn beef, this was good compared to other cities. It was thinly sliced with mixed peppers and onions. The chicken was fried crispy. The biscuits were big and thick with their own homemade strawberry jam. It's a good place for breakfast or brunch. I'll try it again when visiting a city with one.

One of our favorite breakfast spots! The food is always amazing—this time we had the chicken and waffles, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and made us feel very welcome. We come here every time we visit San Diego, and it never disappoints!

Google
I ended my San Diego trip the right way—saving the best for last! Before leaving town after my conference, I made sure to stop at Hash House A Go Go, and let me tell you... it did not disappoint. My first experience with this spot was in Las Vegas, and I was a little nervous that the San Diego location wouldn’t live up to the hype—but it absolutely did! The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, fast, and efficient. They made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Now, the food? Heaven on a plate. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and as full as I was, I didn’t want to stop eating. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor—clearly made with love. One word of warning: the portions are huge. Definitely not meant for one person—but fair warning, you may not want to share. If you're ever in San Diego, do yourself a favor and visit Hash House A Go Go. This place is magic and will have you hooked! Ask my colleague lol.

Google
We stopped by for a late brunch right before closing at 2:30, and despite the timing, the staff was incredibly welcoming and got us seated without any issue. Our waitress was sweet and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the San Diego Barrio Scramble, and my husband had the corned beef hash—both were just okay, nothing particularly memorable. That said, the menu is pretty extensive, so we’d definitely be open to coming back and trying something different. We weren’t drinking this time, but their Bloody Mary options looked fantastic, and we’d love to give them a shot on a future visit for a boozy brunch. Overall, the service was great, but the food was average. It’s worth another visit to explore more of the menu, but we’d probably skip reordering what we had this time.

Yelp
The food was delicious with humongous portions! I've been here a few times and the most memorable thing is the service. Our server was super friendly and kind. (:

Yelp
Its been a while since I came here and glad to see the service and food was just as good as I remember! Party of 6, with 2 late ones and they still gave us the table, which some restaurants dont always do that. Our server came right away to ask for our order, and it came out super fast that the rest of the party was still eating their meal (yes, we were that late, and they were hungry so I dont blame them) First time trying their flights and idk what I had, but it was spicy and yum! the comp coffee is just as good and creamy as I remember too, how do they do it?? We did have reservations however, it was not super busy like my previous visits, not sure if it was the time of the day or the day of the week, but it worked in our favor as it wasnt too busy and we had GREAT service, and ofc great food with plenty of left overs to enjoy at home.

Yelp
Hash House a Go Go is such a guilty pleasure! I take anyone I know who's a big eater here because the portions are beyond generous. The flavors are out of this world and I don't think a single item on the menu is blah. Everything is just outrageously delicious! This time I stopped by for an early breakfast before heading to the zoo for the day. Like I already said, nothing on this menu will disappoint! So I decided to split the Golden Dome with my partner and of course we each had to indulge in the hot chocolate since it was a chilly day. The gravy seriously makes the sandwich and it was also devilishly delicious to dip the potatoes in. Not to mention, you will always get at least 2 meals out of everything you order here... or in my case 3. Because you'll absolutely be taking leftovers home! The servers here always make you feel so welcome and taken care of, it kind of feels like having a meal at a friends house who loves to entertain.

Yelp
The quintessential American brunch with hugeeee portions! We made 9am reservations on a Monday just in case but it was not really busy. This place is known for the sage fried chicken, so we wanted to get one of the dishes featuring the fried chicken, so we opted for the fried chicken benedict. This is not your usual benedict that is English muffin, some topping, and poached egg. This is a supersized version with biscuit, potato, scrambled eggs, loads of sauce, a large piece of sage fried chicken, and large slices of tomatoes. This is honestly a quantity over quality type of place. Only the sage fried chicken was good but the sage flavor was not super apparent. Everything else is loaded with carbs to make the dish super filling, but cheap ingredients. Slapping all these on and charging $27 is a bit overpriced for what the food is. We also got a banana latte ($9) that was overly sweet. We had struggle finishing even sharing the drink. Service here is okay, nothing stellar, but for an American brunch, a bit more checking in would be welcome in case we have requests. Other than that, this place is decent for American brunch, but this is not the best I have tried in San Diego. I'd categorize this place to be on the more overhyped side.

Yelp
The first thing to know here is the portions are huge. If you aren't a big eater it's better to share a few things than to order your own dish. I had the portobello mushroom hash and a cappuccino. You have the option of neither crispy or mashed potatoes. I went with the crispy. The potatoes were good but I wish they had a hash brown option. Eggs were decent. Cappuccino was below average.

Yelp
Our favorite Brunch Place in San Diego. This place only gets better and better with each visit! Menu expands more as well. Portions are ginormous and even know we are well aware, it didn't stop us from ordering far more than we could eat! I had to order a Hot Chocolate since the photos were so amazing. It was definitely photo worthy and tasted as good as it looks! Food was amazing. Our server recommended the Meatloaf Hash and it did not disappoint, we all tried it but it was my husband's dish and he was determined to finish it! I ordered the Tractor Driver ComCombo and upgraded the Pancakes to Banana French Toast, OMG so good. I even ordered a side order of Pork Sausage, mafe inhouse, because I can't get enough of it, and shared with my family. Our son ordered the Biscuit Brrad Pudding. The gravy was sweet but so good! Honestly, we could have shared one dish but happy we tried so many great items! Parking can be a challenge in the area (Hillcrest). There was plenty of street (metered) parking when we arrived but not when we left. There us usually a line as well but we were earlier enough and no wait!

Yelp
OMG the food presentation is beyond spectacular and the food portions are huge. All means seem to be served on platers. The service is exceptional and it was well worth the wait to get in. Watching others receive their good and watching their reactions was part of the fun as well. Ambiance is casual, clean and nice. Hash House A Go Go is definitely a fantastic experience. The waffle chicken tower was different but very delicious. We would come back here for sure.

Yelp
Excellent food and great service. Large portions, recommend sharing. We sat outside. Have a nice side/back patio area. Inside in small, but accommodating. Highly recommend and would visit again.

Yelp
Came here after the Susan G. Komen Walk. By the time we arrived, we were both super hungry. This was one of the closest brunch spot. Not sure if it's just our timing, but we walked in without any wait time. But there was a line out the door by the time we left. Nice cozy ambiance. Service was solid. Very friendly demeanor and the portions are huge. We ordered: Sage Fried Chicken & Eggs $28.99 Served with 1 fried chicken breast, 2 eggs any style, bacon, mashed potatoes, fresh biscuit and fruit. Smoked Bacon Fresh Avocado $25.99 Scrambled with farm fresh eggs. Served with fresh fruit, buttermilk biscuit and your choice of crispy or griddled mashed potatoes. We also both had alcoholic beverages, but forgot what it was called. It was really minty good.

Yelp
The pancakes with banana in them were the best I've ever had. I got them for my kids but it's a BIG one so I had plenty before my food even arrived. The food presentation is incredible - they really make a statement with the large plates, serving entire meal in a cast iron skillet. It just draws the eye. If you're planning on going during Saturday/Sunday brunch I'd say you need a reservation, I've only been once though so take it with a grain of salt! Place is fun, loud, energized!

Yelp
Went for brunch Sunday around 12:30. Surprisingly, there was no wait and we got sat quickly on the patio. Service was great. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us often but not overly bearing. The food was amazing as usual. Of course they have big portions, but you should know that. I got the Fried chicken and eggs. It was a great combo of the favorites. Biscuit was amazing and tasted home made. I had to take half of it to go. Great food, drinks, and service.

Yelp
When I have family or friends come to town, I always convince them to try Hash House as their first brunch spot. The restaurant always hits with hefty amounts of food and great drinks as well. The latest time I went, I decided to go sweet for breakfast and ordered the Banana Foster French Toast and a hot chocolate. Both tasted amazing and both were very big portions as well. A note to have a shorter wait, since they don't take reservations, is to get there before 11AM. The brunch rush starts around this time. We got there around 9:30 and got sat in about 10 minutes.

Yelp
We visit Hash House A Go Go in Las Vegas every time we go so we were elated to see that there was one in San Diego near where we were staying. As expected, the food was just like what we enjoy in Vegas. I had to try sooooo hard to not order their World Famous Sage Fried Chicken & Waffles! It's a huge serving and I had no way to reheat it in my place so I passed on it and ordered the Meat Lovers Scramble instead. Two people were able to share the 3 fresh eggs with bacon, ham, roasted chicken & pepper jack cheese. Served with fried potatoes, biscuit and fruit garnish. I also indulged in a delicious Iced coffee. Something to soothe my soul for missing out on the chicken and waffles. Love! Love! Love!

Yelp
After our spa, my friends and I decided to have brunch around the area. One of the massage therapists recommended this place so we decided to give it a try. Luckily, we didn't wait too long for a table of 6 but the inside was pretty full. We were seated in the table outside in the patio and it wasn't too hot that day. The dishes were all huge and sharable. We ordered 2 dishes to share with 3 people. Sage Fried Chicken and Eggs- 5/5 OMGG, this dish was huge and delicious. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection dipped with the mashed potato and gravy. HH Signature Skillet Scramble #1-5/5 was pretty tasty comes with potatoes and fruits. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the food. The food was also aesthetically pleasing for the camera. Definitely recommend to anyone who's in SD for brunch.

Yelp
Before 9AM street parking is free, so luckily parking wasn't an issue for me. I found that shortly after I started eating many more people came in, so for anyone looking to catch breakfast I recommend coming around 8. I was seated as soon as I entered and got to choose between the bar and a table. From the start I noticed the AC was quite strong, but at least I knew I wasn't going to be sweating. A few different people helped me between taking my order, serving my food, giving a to-go box, and bringing me my check. Each person was super friendly and they all played a role in making my morning. The presentation of the chicken was phenomenal. The flavor was just as good. The crunch. Mm. Amazing. The bacon slab and sausage link combo per "mini" pancake was great. The pancakes were far from mini. Overall the meal was delicious. The quantity was more than I could finish in a sitting. I was offered a box, more syrup and butter as well as a bag. The hospitality and food here were top notch. I look forward to coming back.

Yelp
I've heard about this place for years and wow! Talk about an experience! The serving sizes are ridiculously huge! The place is pretty cool and the staff are all so friendly. Parking is a bear but worth the visit. Worth checking out for sure! Don't eat the day before ... and prepare to have this be your only meal!!!

Yelp
Always good every time we come, looking forward to coming back, so we could leave full.

Yelp
Hash house has a cozy feeling and BIG portions you have to Go Go! First time here and won't be my last, the server was helpful and friendly recommending a variety of dishes. We enjoyed the meals we ordered and the coffees as well. Definitely want to return and try something on the sweeter side. One tip- parking may be difficult to find.

Yelp
OMG this place is a GEM! The food was both delicious and absolutely beautiful. The bread on the sandwich my husband got was HUGE and fluffy. Everything was so good! This place came highly recommended by a work colleague and it did NOT disappoint! Be sure to try their signature soft drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
The portions here are MASSIVE! I came in on a Monday morning after a music festival in San Diego, and even though it was busy, our party of 8 only had to wait about 10-15 minutes. I ordered a Bloody Mary with tequila instead of vodka, and it was honestly one of the best Bloody Marys I've had at a restaurant--the flavor was balanced. I got the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken added on. WOW. It was delicious, but I had to take most of it home because the portion was so huge. My husband ordered the crispy pork hash, and it was pretty good. The pork was tender but had that perfect crispy edge, kind of like pork katsu. His dish came with a sauce on the side that wasn't listed on the menu--it was salty and packed with umami and it went really well with the pork and everything else. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food, but we all ended up taking leftovers home. Next time, I'll probably just share an order with my husband instead of getting my own--it's definitely more than enough for two.

Yelp
Cam here for brunch today. We were influenced to try this place instead of Breakfast republic instead, since it had more reviews. We arrived closer to 11 am, and it took about 35 min for them to seat us, a party of 4. The place seems like it used to be a house that was converted into a restaurant, we got a table outside in the patio. Although it was warm, they have fans running and lots of shade. Unfortunately, our table had some partial sun. We were greeted immediately, we ordered a few lemonades, regular coffee and a Bloody Mary. Nothing special. We decided to share the two entrees we ordered, for everything we saw coming out was enormous. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the raspberry macadamia nut pancake with eggs and sausage. The sandwich is served fries, the actual Chicken was good, just everything is assembled to be big. So the sandwich is difficult to eat, we had to dissect it to be edible. The pancake was enormous, eggs and sausages were good, pancake is underwhelming. It's a huge pancake, but the actual pancake is not very tasty. Could use a little more flavor. Service was great, but maybe we are not big fans of huge portions, quantity of quality. Hope to try it again, when in the area, maybe we will get tastier entrees next time.

Yelp
Came here Saturday midday. Place is on a one way street, and parking is scarce.. There is a lot across the street, but charges 19 bucks for 2 hours. Waited 30 mins for a party of 7. Once we got seated, everything just kinda flowed. The service was excellent! They have a nice kids menu as well. Food was very good. We had breakfast items.. Pancakes are huge.. And the sides of bacon or potatoes could basically be another meal. All in all very good. Highly recommend. Come hungry for sure.
google avatar

Alice H.

Yelp
Parking is on the street or in a small lost that was $16. Staff are really friendly. The menu was busy for my eyes, a little overwhelming. The space inside was clean, and welcoming if you like cold AC. Food took a decent amount of time. The portions are huge, my husband and I shared the chicken Benedict and could not finish it. Prices are reasonable. Recommend!
google avatar

Cat F.

Yelp
The biggest BLT I have ever seen in my life! Pictures don't do it justice. It was at least six inches tall. The bread was 2 inches tall. I think it had 9 slices of bacon, maybe more! And it tasted great, as did the side salad. Service was quick and everyone there was so friendly, I found it very relaxing. I got there literally 10 minutes before closing and they still accommodated me and I did not feel rushed to eat.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Craving a hearty breakfast, come here! From a large selection of lattes to juices this breakfast place has it all! The portions are large and filling. Each bite of breakfast was flavorful with the HH eggs Benedict (my fave) was layered tall with a homemade biscuit, unique hollandaise sauce eggs pouches to perfection then layered with crispy bacon. Don't forget to try their signature s'mores latte which I could have just had on its own for my breakfast. Love that the service is welcoming, servers were attentive and fast, lots of areas to sit. The only thing is if you are coming on a weekend, it does get crowded, you will wait (but worth it) and the parking is challenging in this area. We were fortunate to find a lot to park in that you will have to pay around $20. Other than that, this is a SD breakfast staple you will have to try.

Yelp
What an amazing way to start the day! Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Ulises was a great server, he made the Blackberry and Lemon French toast recommendation and it is SO MEMORABLE!! We loved it! We also had their famous chicken and waffle tower, the biscuits and gravy and the bacon scramble and also loved it! We overall thought the customer service was unparalleled and the food itself was incredible!

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend for me but maybe you will like it, depending in your vibe!Let me explain.... Ambience: funky little place, indoor seating roof is very low, feels like you are eating in a small living room in a home in a small town in upstate New York. They had outdoor seating, seemed like a little alley way with tables - it was cute with lighting but felt like you are eating in between two buildings. Food: ingredients tasted fresh. I had a veggie scramble, they charged me 5 bucks for a small ramican of chipotle sauce since they didn't have hollandaise sauce. Nothing special potatoes were hard and oily tasting. - maybe use fresh oil? Pistachio latte : original - would order again, super sweet, and nuts tasted nice Pancake : super large for no reason - felt and tasted raw in some parts - very underwhelming- expected more. Cold brew coffee: this actually tasted really good, I'd visit just for a carry out coffee. Server vibes they were super sweet and nice but idk they need cleaner uniforms ya know since working in the food industry and all Over all I wouldn't go there again. Maybe you will like it - try it for yourself

Yelp
Reallyyy nice brunch spot! Coffee was on the sweeter side, but still very delicious. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. It was still very juicy but felt that it could use some sauce. The potatoes were seasoned well and had a nice texture. I would definitely recommend. It is on the pricier side (well it is San Diego) but the portions are really big!

Yelp
Huge portions, tasty food, strong coffee. What is not to love here? Go hungry, and don't plan much for the rest of the day.

Yelp
Ohh this place ! Amazing . I ordered TRACTOR DRIVER COMBO ( Eggs scrambled , Three Sausage , and Colossal Pancake ) and Hot chocolate. Y'all when I tell you this pancake was huge . The atmosphere was awesome , staff were friendly . The food was delicious and every ingredients was good quality & fresh . I cannot wait to try lunch item . I highly recommend his place .
google avatar

Charlene B.

Yelp
Food very good with large portions. Service attentive and friendly. Prices fair for the amount of food. I was soooo elected for the PB Mocha but it was way too sweet. My Mini pancakes and chicken breast was good. The amount of food was large but not as excessive as some of the other dishes. . The breakfast quesadillas was very good but a huge portion. the sauce was spicy but good. We had to wait a bit for the table but not crazy considering it was Sunday morning. We will come back!
google avatar

Jessica K.

Yelp
From the food down to the service, everything is amazing. The wait can be long but that's because the place is so popping. You won't be disappointed. The spin on their food is quite unique. Everything is garnished beautifully. Our meals came with enough rosemary to take home to use in a few future dishes haha. We were seated outside at the furthest table in the back and our server didn't miss a beat. Prices are on the higher end but every meal is huge. I have leftovers every time if I don't split with someone. If you're eating here, don't plan on walking around Balboa. Plan on entering a food coma :)

Yelp
I've been to several Hash House locations and their food (and portion size) never disappoints!! We came here on Saturday, March 30th around 9am. We were shocked at how busy it was, even on an extremely rainy day. It was a 35-45 minute wait for a party of 2. We agreed and were surprisingly seated within 5 minutes of getting added to the waitlist (yay!) We ordered the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken and the corned beef hash. Both were delicious. The only reason I'm docking off 1 star is because my biscuits and gravy came out cold. Nothing is more disappointing than cold food when I'm expecting something hot and fresh!!! It did take a while for our meals to come out, so I didn't want to bother the waiter for a new batch and have to wait all over again. On the bright side, we took our leftovers back to the hotel and heated it up for lunch and it was just as good (if not better) than it was that morning. Also just a side note, you have to pay for street parking! There was no parking lot to our knowledge.

Yelp
Highly recommend stoping by this place for breakfast/brunch! Their portion sizes are HUGE and so filling! Presentation was beautiful and the servers were all nice and accommodating!

Yelp
My wife and I went to this resturant for Christmas brunch, we ordered two meals, one of the meals was the spacial andy's benny, the menu said $21.75, but then when we got the check, it became $27.75, the waitress said maybe it got mixed with the older menu, sorry for the confussion, but the price is $27.75. This is not confusing, this is cheating! When we order a meal, the price is one of our factors for making the decision, if we knew the price is $27.75, we would have ordered with the other one. This restaurant experience was not happy at all because of this.
google avatar

Jayla H.

Yelp
The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. We tried the Chicken and Waffle Tower, Wild Boar Chilaquiles, Andy's Chicken Benedict, and the S'mores Mocha Hot Chocolate. While I found the hot chocolate a bit too sweet for my taste, it was still incredibly flavorful. The restaurant had plenty of seating, though the limited space for movement made it feel somewhat cramped. Despite that, the staff was attentive and provided wonderful service throughout. 10/10, highly recommend!

Yelp
Brunch enthusiasts, take note: Hash House A Go Go is the spot to hit for a memorable meal! The moment you walk in, the energy of the place wraps around you like a warm embrace, and the menu is an adventure in itself. I couldn't resist the 'Smore Mocha,' a masterful fusion of coffee and dessert, topped with a toasty marshmallow that's a treat for both the eyes and the palate. Rich, decadent chocolate intertwined with robust coffee flavors made each sip a luxurious indulgence. But the pièce de résistance was the 'House Smoked Salmon Benedict.' Luscious smoked salmon paired with an impeccably poached egg, all draped in a velvety hollandaise, created a harmony of flavors that danced on the tongue. Sitting atop a sturdy biscuit that held everything together, it was a brunch dish I won't soon forget. Hash House A Go Go is an experience that's as delightful for the taste buds as it is for the soul. A definite re-visit is in order!

Yelp
COME HUNGRY! Servings here are maximally huge and maximally delicious. We stopped by for lunch (reservations recommended, they are popular for a reason) with a few rounds of cocktails and food. Highlights for me: - No misses on the food. Everything was delicious and we still went home with leftovers. - Diverse cocktail menu, but the drinks were hit or miss. Highly recommend the Pear Margarita, and Bloody Mary fans rejoice - you'll have so many options here. - Attentive wait staff. We always had someone available when we needed something else. - Ample indoor and outdoor seating. It was great to be able to have our meal in their shaded outdoor patio! Definitely stop by if you want a good crunchy bite. I wish we were closer to come visit again!

Yelp
The food was delicious. The biscuit is huge and very tasty. Mimosa flight was good but I wish there were more flavors. The chicken was crispy and the waffles were good.

Yelp
I took my family here for brunch after they arrived at the airport. As always, I love their huge portions, which left everyone stuffed and satisfied with their meals. I recommended the classic sage chicken & waffles to my brother to try and he liked it. I got the roasted chicken benny this time, and that was good as well. The entire staff from the hostess and serving crew were all so friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Only come to this spot if you are hungry because these portions are massive! We occasionally decide to come to this spot because it's close to home and the menu is full of items that we want to try, it's almost too hard to decide. And after you'll have lunch or breakfast for the next day because there's no way I could finish it all. There is indoor and outdoor seating at this spot and depending on the day and time you come you can get a table quickly and the service is always fast. I'm sure we'll be back again soon when we want to try more things

Yelp
First of all, the portions here are HUGE. Which this place seems to be known for. I got my usual breakfast fix, the eggs Benedict. It was very different from what I was used to so I'm not sure if I truly enjoyed it. The sauce wasn't doing it for me and the muffin felt dry. Some of the items on the plate were a little unnecessary in my opinion. Like the rosemary, it was interfering with my taste buds so I had to put it to the side. Presentation wise, it's nice. My boyfriend also got a skillet and a s'mores hot chocolate which was super yummy. The service was friendly and they allowed dogs which was nice but I think the food here is too much for me in terms of portion and ingredients were kind of strange so if I just wanted a good old breakfast I think I'll try somewhere else. Just don't think this place is my style and not a place I would particularly want to go back to.

Yelp
Went on a Thursday morning & we're seated immediately. Ordered loaded bloody Mary's which were delicious. Husband always orders corned beef hash. You used to get a full iron skillet full of potatoes & huge chunks of corned beef. Portion has definitely been down-sized, however still yummy. I had the salmon, bagel, cream cheese platter with all the fixings. The salmon was cooked, which I wasn't expecting, but still delicious. The bagel was more bready than chewy bagel, but still ok. Prices have gone way up. $94 for total of 2 bloody Mary's and two breakfast platters.

Yelp
I've been dying to try this place; my friends and I had to make a reservation because there's always a huge wait, especially on the weekends! The menu here is packed and super unique - it took us a lot more time than usual just to digest all the options! I ordered the lemon blackberry baked french toast with a side of sausage. I dont usually see baked french toast "out in the wild", but let me tell you this dish was AMAZING. The bread was super sweet, thick, and fluffy. The portion sizes here are huge, though my dish was not (I knew this going in - it's a "starter" on the menu). My friends all ended up with to-go boxes. Hash House is definitely on the pricier side, so you'll at least appreciate that you're getting a couple of meals out of it! Our server, Emily, was wonderful. She was patient with our indecision and helped make recommendations. She also made me feel like I was in good hands, given my food allergy. All in all, would recommend, just be sure to make a reservation!

Yelp
Meh. I personally would go to another breakfast place that serves corned beef hash made the traditional way. The wait is long on the weekend and the parking can be hard to find (free street parking on Sundays though!). I ordered the Duck Sausage Hash- it was medicore. The potato pieces were way too big for my liking but the flavor of the dish overall was fine. They do give a lot of protein (a plus) and the english muffin was good. I asked for the eggs over easy, which were made correctly. Not sure if I would come again, especially since I had high hopes because they have so many reviews.

Yelp
Extensive menu, quick service, good quality food, and a well decorated restaurant? What more could you ask for! I saw how highly rated Hash House A Go Go was and wanted to see what the hype was about and I must say, it does live up to the its high reviews! The portions are HUGE so get ready to take home leftovers.

Yelp
This place! We've been here in Vegas and I try to go whenever I'm there. Didn't know the first location was here. Come for real fast with a big appetite or with someone who will share with you. Hubs and I got the special Bloody Mary, which had carrot juice and dill. It was so fresh-tasting and delish! He ordered the chicken hash and I ordered the mushroom hash, add goat cheese and pesto, as recommended by our server, Jessie. Both were delish! Mine was so good with the pesto! And I have 2/3 left for tomorrow. Highly recommend! The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 was that the potatoes were disappointing and that's the most important base for hash. Make them crispy and flavorful!
