We were so happy to find this bar a little further up from the Rockefeller Christmas tree. The place was not packed at all. There was no wait to get in however, we did sit by one of the booths by the door in the picture you can see the booths a bit of a snowy window effect. Be careful cause that may get on your clothes. It's so close by the door that it's freezing. Wish they had an indoor heater in place. Music is a little odd for the atmosphere. Was hoping for either classic rock, pop, top 40 or pop holiday hits. FOOD: We ordered the brisket nachos and they were amazing. It is very large can easily feed two people maybe three depending on appetites. DRINKS: They had a couple of holiday drinks. I do wish that our server told us about all of the holiday drinks. We only saw them on the menu once we left, but we did try the eggnog and the little pumpkin drink. The eggnog was way better than the pumpkin drink. It was a lot of creamier and it just a smoother. our server was friendly and very attentive. Definitely recommend this place will be back again to try the other holiday drinks!

Xenophobic/Tourist-Hated Place. We got a very terrible service there. We stopped by to get a couple of drinks at the bar before the Broadway show. The bartender mixed our martinies in the plain glass instead of doing it in the shaker, weird martini glasses, no coasters or napkins for the drinks, no ice in the water glasses. I wouldn't not be that picky if other patrons didn't have it. But we were only the ones who didn't have it. With $50 for two martinis the bartender could be more helpful ans less selective. I felt bad leaving him small tip but he deserved no tips at all. Whoever is in the area for the Broadway shows, I recommend to buy drinks inside instead of this restaurant. Almost the same price.

Very fun atmosphere with fast, friendly service! The live music was a blast! It starts getting busy around 9/10pm. The espresso martini flight was decadent! Absolutely worth trying! All their cocktails are tasty and unique. Def worth a fun night here!

We reviewed this restaurant on google and thought it was given a good review, well we visited while in NY before the Rockettes show and it was terrible, the service was terrible and the food and drinks were honestly garbage. The waitress was in such a hurry she missed items we ordered through her, I ordered a Tito’s Lemonade and splash of soda water and I should have just ordered lemonade cause there was not a trace of Vodka in it, the onion soup was awful, the arancini’s were terrible and cold, the brisket French dip was smoked so bad that it made me sick to my stomach just smelling it, the waitress came by one time to check on us and we literally had to chase her down for the bill. You would be better off going to a McDonald’s than this place. 2 stars is generous.

Shoutout to our server Nina! She was so sweet and helpful. But man the main attraction is the food. Arancini and whipped ricotta was amazingly delicious. Sex on Broadway was a delightful drink if you like lychee. This place made me feel like I was back in Ireland! Go see a show and come her after for a good time!

This was our second visit to Haswell Green’s and was just as good as the first time. It can be surprisingly tough to find late night good food when you get out of a show at 11pm so my mom and I were very happy to discover this spot. She always has to send food back for being cold or it takes forever to be seated and served. Here we got our food quickly, was piping hot and delicious. Our server both visits was Nina and she is awesome! So far we’ve tried the pizza, chicken tenders, truffle fries and chicken sandwich. Looking forward to trying other dishes on our next visit. Thanks again Nina. :)

Pianos were great as were the bartenders!!! I wish I got his name but shoutout to the one who was so kind to me for my birthday!! (The girl with the pink crown) Great vibes, just if you haven’t been here a while make a reservation to be near the stage because the interior changed a bit😅

Cool place with great Happy Hour vibes. The food was delicious and cocktails were perfectly made. We had pizza, brisket French Dip, mussels, and quesadellas. Great flavors and generous portions. Our server, Nina was the absolute best. Can't wait to go back to sample a few entrees and to hear Nina's awesome Irish accent again.

Extremely spacious having 2 levels. The decor is perfectly designed with separate area having different themes. So beautiful. The handsome and very well dressed in a lovely suit doorman, the guy that was checking the name of the list in a Halloween costume both remembered me from the Halloween party last year that Frank Quatela did. I felt extra special. Who could forget a 6ft tall unique looking lady with long blonde hair with a extraordinary happy and energetic personality and amazing dancers. Lol. Both bartenders also in costume were amazing and fun and were so friendly. Also in Halloween costume. Everyone were all very friendly and definitely in fun spirits. Very pleasant personality indeed. The space can we booked for special events which is exactly what my friend Frank Quatela did. Having drinks specials all night and a DJ for the entire event. I danced to around 3am in the morning. The music was amazing. Great music played all night. I danced everywhere even on the booth and ledge behind the booths. Definitely and amazing night to be remembered. Thank you for everything.

We visited on a Wednesday night, and there was a $5 cover fee at the entrance, payable by Venmo or cash. I appreciated that the fee goes directly to the band's Venmo(?), which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was lively, with the band taking song requests throughout the evening. It seemed like a few companies were having happy hour gatherings, and everyone was clearly enjoying themselves. I think they were suppose to stopped playing around 11pm but there were so many song requests (you scan their Venmo for the requests) so they went till after 12. The drinks were pretty good--I had a white chocolate espresso martini, which I liked. I didn't personally interact with the bartenders since my boyfriend got the drinks for us, but he didn't mention any issues, so I'd say it was all positive! I was really enjoying the music and the vibe--it made for an awesome night.

After doing a little Yelping, I found Haswell Green's. We dropped by and easily found a table in the back. Unfortunately, the piano portion of the night was over and they were closing the back area, so we ended up at a table in the front. My gf grabbed me a Jameson neat. The pour was standard. Not too little, not too big. I think the hubby got a Monkey Shoulder? We were there for about an hour, so only one round of drinks. The vibe reminded me of a bar and grill I used to go to when in uni. Very cas and with loud music. There was a photo booth as well, so the girls and I decided to get some pix taken as a souvenir. Stopped in for dinner while in town on a business trip after the hotel suggested it as a not touristy place and I loved it! The staff was amazing! The pizza to die for and the drinks on point! I ordered the house cab and it was better than I expected. The decor was super cute! I didn't get to hear the live music but I hear they have it every night. Overall wonderful place for a solo traveler to not feel out of place!

After seeing an advertisement on Instagram for the live entertainment I came in with my partner for a later dinner around 8:30pm on a Sunday, just in time for the entertainment to be starting. Upon arrival we were asked if we had a reservation and when we said no we were told it was a $10 cover charge per person - completely unexpected as none of the advertising nor the website stated there was a cover for the evening, not that I have an issue paying it, it's just annoying that they wouldn't be transparent about it so we could be prepared. After paying the cover charge we were escorted to essentially the table farthest from the stage, in back of the bar where you couldn't even see the stage if you were to have sat down. Completely laughable to have made someone pay a cover fee to not even see the live entertainment they are paying for. We asked kindly if there was anything closer and we were escorted up close to the stage and told if we would like to sit in front of the stage there is no wait service, you must order at the bar. We ended up doing that instead as we did come here with the entertainment in mind. We ordered waters and regular margaritas on the rocks and had to bring them back to the table ourselves, the rest of the cocktail combinations on the menu seemed... questionable. My partner ordered the smash burger and commented that would be safe since it's hard to mess up - in fact he was proven wrong and was disappointed with how greasy it came out. Unfortunately I also chose poorly with the Mexican Street Corn Quesadilla which sounded really good, but in reality was so dry, it had a very sandy texture, it really could have benefited from some something more creamy in there or at least a side of some kind of sauce or sour cream, it really wasn't edible as-is. Overall, the margaritas were fine, the food was awful, but the entertainment was amazing! I would never come back here to eat, but I would come to see the amazing talent they host! I was truly impressed and though we only stayed for the first half of the show we had an amazing time!

We were going to go for diner food at stardust but it had a line, so we decided to try Haswell Green's. Only problem was our friends' teen was with us and we didn't know this was a bar. So they seated us near the door. It was a chilly and rainy night! We couldn't see the band playing and it was cold but couldn't do anything about it. The place is dark and rustic looking inside. Across from us, they have separated tables by using partitions making it more private and intimate. Here's what we ordered for food: LAMB SLIDERS: meaty burgers and so very juicy too! Though the plate looks bare with just the 4 burgers. It needed fries or something. 4/5 FRENCH DIP: I tried this and thought it was good. 4/5 SMASHED CHEESEBURGER: good burger but nothing special. 4/5 KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH: we were told this was delish! 5/5 HASWELL NACHOS: Our friend ordered this but he wanted the one with added brisket but the waitress didn't hear him ask for it so he got the basic nachos. I liked the thin chips but it seemed like there wasn't much on the chips. Quite bare once you eat a few chips on top. 3/5 I'm sure if we were able to sit near the band, it would have been a different experience. But we had a good time chatting and eating amongst ourselves.

What a fun place! I stopped by for dinner with friends but got there very early and decided to have a drink at the bar. The negroni was great! While I didn't experience entertainment there that evening, there is a large stage and seating area for concerts. My friend said she saw a great drag brunch there! The food was delicious and the service was great. I'd definitely return. This place is adorably decorated and is huge! You'd never know it was this large from outside and it also has an upstairs.

The staff here is super chill and welcoming, with plenty of seating thanks to the spacious layout. I've stopped by a few times for drinks while in the area and once for the drag queen bingo brunch, though I'm not sure if they still do it. The food isn't anything remarkable, but it's good enough.

This is a wonderful place well decorated well lit. My sister died today and I could not do New York for the funeral so I came into this bar to just drink my life away when Bart came over I just lost and I walked away and I was rude and I have to apologize because the staff was kind. I also left my Bose headphones there and I realize that now that I'm at home drinking a bottle of vodka that I just got at my bodega so if you get this message, please keep it for me and I'll come get it next week at sometime. Thank you and again I apologize.

Came to HG's for a quick lunch. We were quickly seated and the service was very friendly . Despite all of the great pub food coming out , I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar and a glass of wine . No complaints - a very good salad but next time I will get the burger !!

Not only is this place so cozy and inviting, but the drinks and service was amazinggg. I ordered a cosmo and espresso martini- both were made perfectly to my taste. We ordered the brisket nachos, bee my honey pizza, corn quesadilla, and Parmesan fries. I'm skeptical of bar food at times, but everything was packed with flavor and super filling. This is a must try place for a good drink with some apps to share.

Going with a 5 star review because of the exceptional service we received from a waitress named Nina.... Absolutely outstanding, professional, friendly, and what a fantastic brogue. Haswell Greens has a fantastic vibe and excellent food being served. Great sports bar as well by the bar and tables are far enough distant not to be over powered by the games. Highly recommend the espresso martini flight, it's delicious and any of the homemade pizzas are top notch, all homemade dough and if your gluten free, the gluten free dough is homemade as well, for the g/f I recommend the lemon ricotta pie... one of the best. Enjoy

I'm not a bar person but I liked this place... this place was a lot of fun. They have live piano every evening and on Fridays, it starts at 10 pm. The food and drinks were good. My favorite was the Espresso Martini Flight. Their Irish coffee was also really good and it was served warm. The services are friendly and on point.

This is the second time I've been here and both times have been a blast. We reserved a table which allows you to sit closer to the band but there is a $50 per person minimum spend but that's easy to do here. The menu was outdated as a few of the beers I wanted were no longer on tap but the waitress was very nice and quick to get our orders on a busy Friday night. I got the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich which was very good but very messy. The sandwich came with fries which they did not mention on the menu so that was a nice surprise. The band was fantastic and since every song is determined based off crowd recommendations and donations it's amazing how well everyone plays. They are highly entertaining and sound fantastic. Overall it's a very fun night out and highly recommend.

This has been on my list to try and today was the day. First it's a really good vibe for a date or just hanging with the homies. Shout out to Gracie who made the experience so enjoyable. Every serve should check if you are enjoying your food/drink and she did just that. Just a pleasant soul. I will 100% be back. Food, drinks, ambiance, were all worth it! It got really busy and fun when the live music hit but we left.

We stopped into Haswell Green's for a mid-afternoon snack on a Saturday. We caught the tail end of the Drag brunch show which was great from the parts we saw. It created a really fun and party-like atmosphere for all of the patrons. Although the show was going on, the service was still great and we were able to get our food in 10 minutes. We got a pizza and an appetizer and both were delicious. I will definitely be back for the entire drag brunch and I would love to go back at night for drinks because it has a fun vibe.

Excellent find on 52nd Street yes, directly across from the old Funny Girl August Wilson Theater, which has now closed. But that is a great landmark hint, south side of 52nd. Warm & welcoming, an upscale Irish Pub with a nice menu, I think fairly priced. A new upstairs floor dedicated to dancing, nightlife, disco etc..a perfect place for parties. The exceptional Irish hospitality is very apparent..smiles, attention to detail. This is a dying art! Loved the Chorizo Mussels, appeared to be a slightly small portion for 2 to share but wound up being more than enough. A few pizza options, with a light and airy crust, we had the Broccolini with a white garlic sauce, next time I would choose differently. Painkiller drink for me, frozen, not much of a buzz, Lee enjoyed his Mezcal Negroni. All in all, a solid spot in a district with a lot of nowhere to dine !! You will not be disappointed here, they take a reservation, go early it gets very busy.

Love this place! I always bring friends here when I'm at a loss for where to bring them in the city. The live music is so fun and everyone is dancing, and the drinks are really special too! Haven't tried the food, but looks decent and has a bottomless deal

We came here before our dinner reservation and had outstanding cocktails. They were well presented as well as well balanced. We also ordered the guac and chips which was good but definitely not enough chip to guac ratio. Just a few adjustments and I would give it a 5 * rating. It is super dark in the dining area. We had to use our phone flashlights to see the menu. We sat at a high top and it would have been more comfortable if the stools had backs on them. Also there were no hooks to hang our handbags or any place to put our coats so we had to sit on them. I would definitely recommend coming here, especially if you like craft cocktails. Their menu is extensive.

Best Bar in town on a Saturday! Great food, great drinks and OU football! Services is always on point and the staff is super friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Haswell Green's has quickly become my favorite place for a drink in NYC. Conveniently located across from the August Wilson, it's a great place to grab dinner and a drink before a show. We went there 3/5 nights I think on our trip and I don't regret it at all. We got the Purple Gin & Tonic ($17.50) several times, Sex on Broadway ($18.50), Curtain Call ($17.50), and the Defying Gravity ($18.50). Every single drink was fantastic, worth the higher price tag but it's NYC so what do you expect? We only ate there one night and I got the Smash Burger and my friend got the Crispy Fish & Chips, both were great we really enjoyed it. Every employee we encountered there was so nice and the service was great! I loved how they had an upstairs bar you could go sit at too if the downstairs was too full.

Big Apple Cleveland Browns Backers of NYC Went here with my Fiancé who is a proud Browns fan and Cleveland native. I am originally from Philly but support her team for her. It was our 4th time going. The two guys who run this seem to be nice guys. We got there an hour early so we could get good seats at the bar. The two end seats had a reserved sign and the guys who run this said " those are reserved but take any others". Cool - no problem- they certainly have the right to save seats for their friends I guess. About 5 minutes before the game the special guests showed up and there were three of them. They asked us if we would move!!! "I'm sorry but we got here an hour ago to secure good seats so I'm sorry but we are going to stay". Well this clearly annoyed them as they were privladged and better than us so they squeezed another chair in and the gentleman proceeded to inch his way into my fiancés seat to make room for the additional guest making it incredibly uncomfortable. It was so upsetting to my fiancé we left to which the rude gentleman said "good! You're leaving". If this behavior is alright with the two gentlemen who run this Browns bar the "cool" - we will certainly never go back. So my review is apparently if you aren't friends with the hosts and you don't want to be treated like a second class citizen at A FOOTBALL BAR WHERE YOU SHOW UO EARLY TO GET SEATS then avoid this place at all costs. If the two men who run this read this maybe consider what a horrible experience was created for a huge Browns fan and proud Cleveland native. And if that's how you want to represent your city in "our" city well then ... there you are. If you are horrified by this (which I would hope you'd be) feel free to apologize and lets us know. Btw - the super special guest ordered 1 Bloody Mary and 2 glasses of water We ordered two beers each 2 shots each and a burger before we were run off. To Haswells management- we live in this neighborhood and I don't think this reflects well on your establishment the other 6days a week when folks like us are imperative to neighborhood restaurants

Fun, cool vibe with lots of tables from high tops to low tops to bar area. They had a good menu and offered me a gluten free menu which had a decent assortment of options. My husband had Brisket French dip and really liked it. I had the gf crust which was tasty with a margarita pizza. It could have used more sauce and cheese but it was still fine. The French fries tasted like fresh, homemade fries and were quite yummy. I definitely want to try the nachos next time. Our waitress was great and very engaged to my gluten allergy. I will be back!

Fun bar with lots of decent food and great drinks. Found the wells to be pretty good and some decent deals if you come at happy hour.

Loved this place. Cozy, a bit dark, and had the best bartender, Fiato! His recommendations of the General Tso's cauliflower and My Honey Pizza were spot on. This place is right next to the Neil Simon Theatre. Go here! Staff and food are great. You won't sorry!

A friend from London was visiting and wanted to grab a bite after seeing "MJ" at the theater next door, so I recommended meeting here. It's a great location and I liked my food. What I didn't know was that they had a live band....and the band was really good (Big Woozy Band) but they were so loud that I couldn't have a conversation and catch up with my friend. I started with a great cocktail called "Silver Screen" which featured Toffee Popcorn washed bourbon, Cherry Cola reduction and 3D bitters. It came with a cute little side bucket of popcorn. It was really good. Then we shared some poutine as a starter and as an avid fan of Montreal, I can say that it measured up. Tres delicious! Then I had some hot chicken sliders. Those were also good and the sauce did have some heat to it! Service was friendly but a bit sporadic. If we'd gotten there 30 minutes earlier, we would have missed the band and been able to talk so that would have been nice. But honestly, the band was really good and it was nice to hear live music so I can't complain too much. I'd definitely go back, either purposefully to hear music or at a time when there wasn't live music so I could enjoy dinner and conversation with friends.

Saw it on TikTok and decided to visit on our trip to NYC. Loved it!! Nina, our waitress, was awesome. A lot of fun. Great drinks and food was good!! The ambiance was perfect for either privacy or for a big group.

We came here before a show, so time was of the essence. Thankfully, we were able to get in all of our orders, and service was very fast. We really enjoyed the espresso martini flights! Truly a unique menu option that is just the perfect thing before a show. Haswell Green's also has lots of bathrooms, which is really helpful. A couple of them were out of service due to construction, so just be aware of that. Overall, enjoyed the food but the atmosphere, service, and drinks were what sold it for me.

I've been many times! The dueling piano show on Friday and Saturday evenings is so fun! They charge $50/person if you want to reserve a table in front of the stage. Otherwise, if you get there early (like 8:30-9:30pm), you can get a spot at the bar and see/hear the show from the back. I believe they also start charging a cover around 9:30pm at the door, $10-$20 depending on the night. There website says the show starts at 9:30, but it didn't start until 10pm and it didn't fill up until 10pm. The musicians on the piano change; they've been different every time I go, some better than others. We ordered cocktails, each were $17.50. Both were a little sweet! Overall, great spot for some nightly entertainment!

WOW I cannot tell you what a wonderful experience I had at Haswell Greens. My friends and I met up here before we saw Funny Girl. We chose this restaurant because it is snuggled right in the heart of the theater district, which made the commute to the show a simple walk in NYC. Our drinks were well crafted and the food was hot and tasty. This had to have been one of the best chicken sliders meal I've had in my life. Haswell Greens also offers reservations, so you can also plan in advance. I would definitely recommend making HG a routine stop for a light bite before a Broadway show. It's right next to music man, wicked, funny girl, and a short walk to other shows!

Great location and great food! This place has an upbeat vibe with live music. The bar area is large as is seating area. Lots of different folks found their way here. Service was good!

Korean chicken sandwich is so good! We came in on a Friday night about 20 minutes before the full kitchen closed. The front staff got a seated quick so we could get our orders in. They also had live dueling pianos which was a great vibe to end our night to. My husband for the brisket French dip, which was also super good! However, it had a strong Smokey flavor, so if you don't like that I would advise against it. There was signs on the door saying there is a $10 cover. They didn't charge us for that. I am not sure if it was just due to us mainly coming for food, or if that is normal.

We had the brunch fries, avo smash, brisket hash and BEC. Everything was yummy and service was good being we were the first table in- a minute before noon on Sunday. The swizzle drink is deliciously sweet, tropical and pretty. Bloody Mary with mexcal is strong and different. Espresso martini is also a great choice. Good company, good food, warm ambiance all around.

Bring a few friends, grab some drinks and order a snack platter because Haswell Green's cover band performance is a wild ride. My partner and I were seated at around 9pm. By 9:15pm the band was setting up and taking requests and my partner and I were starting on a platter of nachos that could fill 4+ people. Our attention was quickly redirected to the cover band and their performance. The experience is highly interactive since they take the audience's requests. To request a song you venmo the artists and request the song as the caption. The more you pay, the higher the likelihood of your song be played. The night started off with Billy Joel and classic country, quickly taking a turn to Busta Rhymes, Chris Brown, and Cardi B, calming down with Elvis Presley, straight to Disney Mulan's "I'll Make a Man Out of You", and ending with some standard pop hits. The selection is very diverse so there's something for everyone. The fun part is that the transitions between songs can get extremely weird very fast. By the end of the night I was done with two curtain call cocktails and dug through 70% of our food. The mac and cheese was decent but not amazing and the Be My Honey Pizza was a flop compared to some of my favorite honeyed slices at Emmy's or Roberta's. But when you're at a place like Haswell Green's you're not so focused on the food as you are with having a great time. By the end of the night everyone was dancing, stepping on toes, and mostly wasted. I would suggest getting out before everyone is scurried out like cattle. My partner had his feet stepped on by the same guy about 10 times during the last hour and we were not looking forward to the 11th time. Lesson learned, get food from elsewhere, grab a few drinks, enjoy the entertainment, leave before 1am. Thank me later.

What a fun atmosphere! We stopped in here one night after a show and had some cocktails at a high top and split some small plates. The bartender was so friendly. The live band was amazing! They were playing the piano and other instruments and played such a variety of songs from Billy Joel, Cher, Bruno Mars, Rock, country, and more. We will definitely be back!

This place is SO COOL!! They do $25 bottomless Mondays - Thursdays evenings if you buy an entree. I got the Passionfruit Margarita and Moscow Mule a couple times. I really liked the marg! I will say that service is kinda slow here so you definitely want to order more than one drink at a time or try to flag them down before you're done with your current drink if you don't want to wait too long in between. They also had live music which was super fun! It's a little loud so definitely had to talk louder and was a lively environment. For food, I had opted for a healthier option getting a salad with chicken on it. It was actually one of the better salads that I've had though. Overall, great experience here! Side note - the nachos are MASSIVE could literally feed a village

My husband and I went here for New Years Eve and had a great experience! If you follow the directions it was easy to get behind the barricades and into the bar and they made the new years experience very fun. Food is available but limited so recommend eating a meal beforehand. You could get any drink for free with the tickets for the 4 hour open bar, shots were an additional charge which I think is standard. They had champagne for the toast at midnight. Wanted to leave this review since it was hard to get info about this party beforehand.

Such a great atmosphere. This place is quite a large establishment with both down/upstairs. I absolutely love that you can see good live music here. A great place to sip on a drink and listen to talented performers. The food is pretty good and drinks are standard. You can confidently order a cocktail here and know what you're getting. This is a great place to meet up with a group of people. 4/5

If you can't stay for the drag brunch show still pop in for a drink! Good service, but when there are shows they don't have the full menu so we enjoyed the venue but went else where for more lunch-style food.

What am amazing establishment and staff! Found this location on social media and perfect timing because i had family in town to host. We attended the Saturday brunch Drag Show. What fun we had from beginning to end. They offer bottomless drinks for $65 and it staff were so attentive the moment my pitcher was empty they were quickly refilled. Food opts for brunch is accommodating for all types. I had the arugula salad with grill chicken. Delicious. It was tough un a good way to either focus in food or the entertainment As they said on social media "run dont walk", you dont wanna miss out in this place. Thank you Haswell Green's!

Came here for brunch on a Saturday around 1:30pm to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had a blast! The drag queens are hilarious and really know how to put on a show! I'm not too crazy about trivia games so could have done without the trivia segment, but it was still very entertaining and interactive! The bottomless brunch was $60 for two hours including an entree which wasn't too bad. It's definitely not the cheapest, but you're also getting a good entertainment and to celebrate a birthday, it's definitely worth it. This was probably the best drag brunch I've ever attended! The food was surprisingly pretty good. I had a bacon, egg and cheese that came with smashed avocado and chipotle with a side of fries, so it was pretty tasty. I will say, the brunch menu is very limited and there's not too many options. All in all, still a very awesome spot right in the heart of broadway. It's a very touristy and busy spot, so just be mindful of lots of car and pedestrian traffic. It can be a bit annoying getting to and from!

Haswell Green's was a great dinner option before our show at the Broadway Theatre. They got our food to us quickly so we could take our time before the show, but never made us feel rushed. It was easy to get reservations to ensure we had enough time. We loved the Espresso Martini flight and the gluten free pizza - there were a lot of gluten free options, awesome to have almost all of a menu available for our group!

My friend and I stopped at Haswell Green's so we could use the bathroom before our show at the August Wilson Theatre started. We each order a drink, of course, and thus continued that great cycle! The bartender was happy, chatty, and informed about what's going on in the theatre world. It was the day of the Tony Awards... Anyway, my amaretto sour was perfect. I think my friend ordered a Moscow mule. The place is dark with lots of good, non-obnoxious lighting. There was drag bingo going on in the back. Even though we couldn't play, it was fun to watch from the bar area. According to the star of that drag bingo, this is rated one of the top 3 drag brunches in the country. My friend and I were bummed we had to leave just after it started. Now that makes me want to return and experience it.

Great food, great drinks, and quick service when needed! Before we started ordering, the first thing the waitress asked was if we were going to a show and we told her we were and the time. She told us the timing of when we'd have to order food by to make it on time which we definitely appreciated because trains were on the fritz that day and we were actually late meeting each other. We ordered two cocktails that and an entree each. All the food and drinks are very good. From the moment we sat down to leaving, only took about an hour even when it was pretty decently busy in there!

Went on a Saturday night for the piano show... we didn't have a table or eat so I won't rate that. First of all, the two women on piano played every bit of a three-hour set without one break. Absolutely frickin amazing! And quality from the beginning to the end. The bartenders never stopped moving all night so even though it was crowded it never took more than a couple of minutes to get drinks. I drank beer (the house beer is a good approximation of any light beer you wanted it to be and it was fine for me) but those I was with who had mixed drinks said they were great. And a shoutout to the bouncers... the front half of the bar near the stage had reserved tables and waitress service and if you didn't have a reservation you stayed in the back half near the bar (that's where we were and you could see the show fine from there). The bouncer near us was very polite about keeping the people from the back half from going into the front half while the table service was going on... if I had been in the front I would have appreciated it, but again there was nothing over the top about it; he was about the most polite bouncer I've ever seen. Then as people started leaving the tables for the night they started letting people from the back get closer to the stage and fill in the room, which was nice. Overall a phenomenal show and I would definitely come back. The only warning I would give is that the show doesn't start until 10p so if you're looking for an earlier night this probably isn't it. Also there is a $10 cover if you don't have a reservation which for the entertainment we got I actually thought was a steal.

NOTICE FOR ALL BLACK PEOPLE LOOKING TO GO HERE PLEASE READ THIS FIRST! IT MAY SAVE YPU A TRIP AND A HOUR OF WASTED TIME. My fiancé and I go there for the firs time tonight and we're told that the downstairs is blocked off the a private event and that they were going to check if they had a table for 2 upstairs. We wait about 5 minutes before they come back and say it would be a 15 wait and that we could wait by the bar. The wait was about 20 mins and then we were sat at the same time, side by side another table of 2. Another 5 mins goes by and the waiter comes by and takes the order of the table next to us as he brings them water. He then leaves and 3 mins later comes back with their drinks. I see the waiter coming back toward our section and then he turns around only to grab a bubble gun and blow bubbles all around the restaurant. At this point we don't even have water but he's focused on bubbles. I don't want to say it was a race thing but we were black people in a room full of white people. A women came around shortly after the bubbles stopped and asking if everyone was okay and I told her we've been at the table and for nearly 15 mins have have even gotten our water, not to mention our order taken. I told her I don't even have proper drink menu and she tried to brush it off like it was not big deal so we left. On the way out I found out the manager's name is Kevin. So Kevin I hope you have diversity training for your staff.
