Rarely do I say a won’t return how ever, this one landed. Gentleman taking orders was great big fella with beard. Food was ehhhh not something I’d pay for . Pickle chips were inedible. My god someone needs to sample this before sending out. That is enough sodium in a single bite for the year. Smokes… Turkey burger wasn’t so much a patty put together but as it stated just ground and unseasoned ehhh just not restaurant quality imo. Fountain drink was decent. The play ground had so many kids was crazy loud but sad cause a beautiful day to sit out side. Sales ehhh again. Wasn’t impressive or delicious, edible yes it was all edible. You’re choice, my opinion and experience

Went here for lunch on a Monday with my daughter. Burgers are delicious and toppings are fresh. We didn’t care for the fries though, the texture and season were off. What I imagine shoe laces taste like. Of course the playground was a hit! I really liked the outdoor wash area too. Would certainly return

The food came out super fast but I was disappointed as soon as I took my first bite. Under seasoned and under cooked. The pink inside almost made me toss it in the garbage. I separated the two patties and found the saddest gray and under seasoned beef. Once I heated to a safe temp for consumption I added some salt and pepper. At that point, it was ok. The tots tasted purely of the grease in which they were cooked. At least they were cooked through I guess. My kids ordered the pancake Big Hat and the chicken nuggets. Neither finished their food which is unusual. I tried the nuggets. They looked good but tasted like pure salt. I checked the half of the pancake burger my daughter didn’t eat and found more undercooked beef. This is not just a taste issue. It food safety. I wish I had caught it before she ate a half of her raw burger. I love my steaks medium-rare, but never ground beef. I really wanted to like this place. It’s apparent why people do love it. Children were allowed to run freely through the restaurant while parents drank and ate the subpar food. Like McD’s with alcohol.

First time trying Hat Creek. My daughter has been diagnosed with Celiac and no longer can have gluten. The wife and I researched some options and found out about Hat creek. The wife,daughter and I all got the bacon royal on a gluten free bun. We also ordered an order of nuggets to try and I’ll tell you everything was a home run. That burger was freaking delicious even on a gluten free bun which was pretty close to a normal bun in my opinion. We also each got the tots, fries and sweet potato fries which were all freaking good. Definitely will be on our go to list for the future. Food for us 3 was around $60 which is not the cheapest but I know the quality is good and for some normalcy for my baby girl it’s worth it to me.

I absolutely love hat, Creek Burger Company… I went out of my way to come to this restaurant because I have been craving it for so long. Not many restaurants, especially fast food restaurants, serve turkey burgers. Hair serves an amazing turkey burger that is juicy and well seasoned. The sweet potato fries are crispy and always fresh. This review is not just for the amazing food that Hair has to offer but for the amazing service. Edgar took my order and was so sweet. He embodies excellent customer service. He was quick, efficient, and extremely welcoming. Unfortunately, there wasn’t even a tip option on the payment system, but if there were, I would definitely give a tip.

Well, my daughter said she had to take me here because it was so good. So we drove 30 minutes from Magnolia to eat lunch at Hat Creek Burger on Louetta Rd last Saturday. It was kinda normal busy for a fast food on Saturday, and we didn't wait long to order. We ordered the Hat Double Cheeseburger & Little Hat Cheeseburger both with Tatertots and Drink. Unfortunately, it took 20-30 minutes for the waitress to bring our food to our table area... The burgers were good, but not raving good, and the service was definitely disorganized with identifying a customer by walking into the tables area and calling out your name.. The drink & condiment area is cramped into a corner by the entrance/exit into the table areas...it's kinda like an upgraded Whatburger...

The building was fairly full when we walked in but there was no-one in line. We waited a few minutes to be served standing at the counter and the associate did not smile or seem interested in our presence. Once we received our food everything was great. The queso is delicious but not extravagant, the burgers are great but simple in flavor profile. The sauces were very good, especially the happy sauce! If I'm in the area I would visit again and try the desserts. Very kid friendly atmosphere and food/dessert selection.

This place offers an impressive variety of customizable burgers with multiple protein options. I can't wait to return and try more! They serve three in-house sauces, each with a unique flavor, but my favorite was the honey mustard (available upon request). It was perfect for dipping my burger, tater tots, and fries. The loaded tater tots were great for sharing due to the generous portion size, though I wish they had more toppings for added flavor. That said, they were perfectly fried with an excellent crunch! I loved the Big Hat Burger with jalapeños--it delivered the perfect balance of acidity and heat, complemented beautifully by the tangy sweetness of the honey mustard. The fried pickles had great flavor but could use a bit more crunch, in my opinion. The sweet potato fries were best when served fresh, while the regular fries had a tasty seasoning that I really enjoyed. The service was fantastic--the staff was super friendly, and our four orders of burgers and fries were served quickly. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to check out the outdoor patio because of the cold rainy weather, but I'd love to return and explore the play area for our little one!

My kids love this place and the food is good. They serve burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, chicken fingers, and fries. They also have a variety of drinks, including alcoholic beverages. They sell milkshakes of different flavors and are always clean. Their staff is also friendly and happy to help. I love that I can sit and enjoy a meal while the kids play on the enclosed playground. Great way to grab bite and have the kiddos burn some energy. They also have a catering menu.

Boring, wimpy fries! Ordered an Oreo shake and needed a microscope to find the Oreos. Very disappointing.

Best burger in spring. Customer service is great and have an outdoor area that's covered that has a playground for your kids to play in. I believe it's built on astroturf and their large fry and tater tots will feed the whole family and their dog

We used the drive through, outdoors has a really nice wooden play place though. They offer 3 - made in house sauces. I opted for the chicken which was real chicken and crispy with a side of fries. We also got a hamburger and a shake. All of the food was pretty good. I wouldn't say it blew me away as something that's significantly different from most places though. Its a mid level fast food joint. If you're looking for something better than your common chains, try it out!

Their burgers were good. The restaurant is definitely family friendly with a nice size play ground. Service was good. For the price and quality it beats the Golden Arches.

My family and I love this place! Not only had the food always been consistent, fresh, and delicious, but the outdoor playground that the dining area opens up to is convenient for couples with kids who need to get energy out. My husband and I were able to eat, have a conversation, and watch our kids with ease. The staff is friendly and helpful with any questions about their food you may have!

This place is cute! I love how family friendly it is. This was my first time here and my first impression was that the place was clean and unique. I absolutely loved the outdoor playground, which was surprisingly also pretty clean and tidy. This place is pricey, though. It looks like a fast-food joint, but also has that casual sit-down vibe. The menu is pretty cool because it has gluten-free, paleo, and keto options. The prices are in the range of Five Guys and Smash Burger. With the prices being high, I was a little disappointed in my burger and the portion of the sides. I ordered the Southwestern burger, and it was alright. Many people who have tried this place have said their burgers are "pretty good," and I think that describes it well. The burgers aren't amazing or the best I've ever had, but they're not the worst. They truly are just, "pretty good." For a $9 burger, I expected it to be bigger and more flavorful. I tasted mine as is, and it needed more sauce or something. After eating it with the Hat Sauce, it tasted a lot better. Also, $3 for an order of fries was steep to me. I don't like that they only have ONE size because that portion was pretty small. My husband got the Truff Burger and he really liked it, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. The cashier who took our order was so sweet and patient with us since it was our first time and we had several questions. THANK YOU! I think Smash Burger is better than Hat Creek, for the value and taste of food. HOWEVER, I do like the atmosphere of this restaurant a lot. It is different and a great place for kids to play safely. I also love their sauce station; all three sauces were great! I wouldn't eat here regularly, but I would consider coming back for a special occasion.

Great burgers and fries! Try the different sauces! They have the typical fast-food atmosphere with a drive-thru and fountain drinks. But also serve beer with an indoor / outdoor seating area with big screens for the game and a playground for the kids! We've been there a handful of times so far, and have always received friendly and helpful service.

Went for lunch and did t have to wait at all. Food was delivered very fast and on a tray, not in a bag. I got a double with a pretzel bun and expected it to be too much to eat but it wasn't a very large burger. So you may not end up getting as much for your money than some other burger spots. The burger itself was very tasty and enjoyed the tots I chose to go with it. The special sauce they have is delicious. I put it on the burger and the tots and it really brought everything together. At the end I finished everything and I would go back and try something else. Overall happy.

I frequent this location because the food quality is usually spot on and they have vegetarian and gluten free options. Today I went to get my regular order a little hat on a gluten free bun and asked for sauces on the side, since I was heading home to eat. I get home and the burger is not on a gluten free bun and no sauces were put into my to go bag. Please be careful while ordering gluten free from here and double check your orders.

The food is consistently great. I love their salads! Their hat burgers are better quality than other fast food chains. The veggies on the burger are fresh and crispy. Love their sweet potato fries! It's just a better experience than most. Chocolate shakes are awesome too!

First time visiting here this evening! Parking is easy breezy. Food was good! My burger and fries were super fresh! I got the number one classic! Waiting time is great! It's a very good family environment! With an open layout so if you do have little ones they can run around and play while you eat! I can say seating area can be a little hard to find a good spot if the area is not clean. I myself and few other families had to clean their seating area. It was old food and ice cream. The cashier was very nice! She reminded me when the buzzer goes off I grab my food from the tray pick up area. I walked over and she pointed to my tray. Once I set down it was the wrong order. The food was remade over for the family it belonged to. I can say I actually enjoyed sitting out in patio area eating and talking with families. I will revisit soon.

Y'all are awesome, especially the location here in NW Harris County! Service is spectacular, food is fresh and tasty, and the setup is perfect for family and friend gatherings!

We gave it a try for the second time after it first opened. The burger has improved. When it first opened they served it in a bowl that captured the juices and made the bread soggy. Now it is paper wrapped so the burger has improved. Fries were good an crispy. I also had a side of chili but it was not worth the price Not bad but it did not make the meal plan.

I had lunch here last weekend. It's a counter service restaurant that has some indoor and a lot of covered outdoor seating with a kids playground attached. My order was for the Big Hat combo burger meal with fries and a drink for $12 and they grilled the onions for free. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes and was hot and fresh. I thought the dressed double patty burger was good tasting and with the regular frozen out of a bag fries filling and represented a good value. I gave this meal a 3.5 but will round up to a 4 for Yelp purposes and would be happy to return if in the area. The property is attractive and appears well maintained. It has its own parking lot and a drive thru.

RAW GROUND BEEF! For $90.00, I am highly upset. I am pregnant and this could have been very very bad on my end. I'm so unhappy. The pickles were not deep fried the pickle and the batter is not fully cooked..... I also felt weird because as soon as my family of FRICAN AMERICANS got inside EVERYONE STARTED TO ACT VERY WERID AS IF WE DIDN'T BELONG . If zero stars was an option I would definitely give it. I WILL NEVER EVERY BEING MY FAMILY THERE AGAIN.

Great for kids! The burgers are good with average sides. My toddler really enjoys coming here. Only downside is how busy the playground gets.

This is a cool place to take the kids if you have any. Get them all worn out and full and maybe even a lil chicken tender nugget. The cowboy burger was delicious. It isn't the best burger I've ever had but it kept me full from 2 pm until 8 pm. That's crazy, now I'm full and tired. That's really all I got to say. I wish I had more but now I'm just typing to make myself feel like I did something lol. Next time I pass through I'm getting some chicken tenders, those thangs are super flavorful. One more thing... The young lady who took my order was super helpful and made everyone feel at ease, people like her are hard to find in the service industry!!!

Stopped through the drive-thru to pick up a burger. Went with the classic and added a side of fried pickles and a root beer. The entire meal hit the spot! The burger looked small but it's a double Pattie so it was filling, just perfect! I loved how the burger is made it didn't have topping sliding off our out the bun. Very good and flavorful! The fried pickles were so good as well! I will definitely return!

The food was good and fresh all this place needs a dining room attendance, someone to keep it stocked and clean. Would definitely take the family there and about the same price as Macdonalds

Not a bad burger place, but wasn't absolutely amazing. I ordered the classic burger and added bacon and avocado. The best part of the burger was the toasted crunchy bun. I really liked that. The fries were good also. Definitely better than an ordinary fast food burger joint.

Great place to stop for lunch with kids! The playground was clean and well maintained. Everyone was very friendly and the food was done very quickly. We had a burger, wings, hot dog and a salad. All were wonderful. The sweet potato fries are phenomenal! They even have a few beers on tap. They had TV's on outside but none were playing the Astro's game, just in case you're hoping to catch the game. Overall, great place for families and we will be back!

Went here for dinner for the first time today and have to say I am a bit disappointed, ordered the pretzel jack and there is definitely no pretzel involved. Well thanks to Taylor we were able to try the pretzel burger and it was really good! Thank you Hat Creek for the excellent customer service!

Like I said before - it's a great stop if you want to let your kids burn some energy while partaking in a quick bite... The play area is a great addition to the area and even better that it's outside with ample eating area within arms reach. The food? I'm not so sure I care for it. The quality seems to have really gone down over the past couple of years and the menu changes leave much to be desired. For me - the cost just isn't in line with what you get and the discontinuation of some of the add-ons is not appealing at all. For example - they've removed Swiss cheese from the menu along with additional bun options (wheat, etc...) and added "American" cheese. It may seem trivial to some - it is what it is. Adding to that - the portions are different, the utensils and cups are cheaply made, and yet the cost is a bit higher than before for the same products. Not to mention the staff could use some customer service and cleanliness training. The lobby was literally a mess on our last visit, the floor was so slippery that if you didn't take a baby step when traveling through the indoor dining area, you'd most certainly slip and fall. All the while - the staff were congregating at the tables and not even remotely concerned with the safety of others. I will probably pass next time around and choose to eat elsewhere...regardless of the play area.

This food was pretty darn good! I wasn't expected it to be as this was my first time eating here. I went to the drive thru and order my food and decided to pull over and eat it! The burger and fries were greatly seasoned and the buns were SUPER FRESH! The food was hot which i absolutely loved! It was worth the wait and definitely worth trying. I will be visiting again.

Excellent, excellent burgers. They were juicy and hot and fresh when served. I got the classic with everything on it (I'm an onion queen so keep them on please)! Robbie got the classic with no bacon substitute the bun with lettuce because he's a health freak! For our sides we got sweet potato fries and tater tots which were super crunchy and fresh. The three sauces are also great but I highly recommend the Fry Sauce as number one!

This place was great! Loved the fenced in play area and covered patio. Food was really good too! I just wish one of these would open in the Woodlands! Reasonably priced!

Consistently good food, and I love the different dipping sauces. Huge playground outside for the kids that is open to the restaurant so you can eat and watch them play at the same time. TV's are all over, so you can catch the sports games while eating, too.

LOVE Hat Creek...especially the Paleo Bowl! It's nice to have great options right in our neighborhood. Fast, excellent service, too!

Am I the only person who can be driving home with full intention of cooking and still stop for a food snack along the way. Whelp, that's how I ended up in Hat Creek's drive thru. I was in the mood for red meat and decided on a burger. I got their version of the cheeseburger with fries. We also got the pepper jack on pretzel bun (I forgot the name) and the kids nuggets. I do think the $35 was a bit steep for burgers, but I love that their nuggets are gluten free. This was my first time trying their burgers although I have had the nuggets in the past. I honestly think for the price point is opt for Hopdoddy's.

Came here with my husband and was pleasantly surprised. We both enjoyed our burgers and we really liked the sweet potato fries. They have indoor seating areas and a nice play area for kids outside. It was pretty busy when we went but the staff was super friendly and they have lots of menu options and everything is customizable so there is a little bit of something for everyone and they are helpful with food allergies.

There is just something about this little burger place that we love. I have had the chicken sandwich, hotdog, and hamburger and all have been delicious. I love any place that serves tots. And the strawberry shake was absolutely delicious. Very kid friendly but there are a few places we adults can hide for a quick burger.

My first interaction they had two mistakes on my order, and the manager had the most amazing customer service ever! And because of that visit four months ago, I've gone at least six more times! Even finding it out in Austin, at the dominion! I finally introduced my teenagers to it last night... I knew I needed to wait as long as possible because now they're in love!

If I could give zero stars I would. Did an online order that was $70 on 4 meals for my family. Went up there to pick up, waited over a hour to get the food. When we FINALLY got it it was cold and soggy. Asked them if they could remake it, was completely ignored. I asked if I could just be refunded and was told no I needed to call corporate. This was the 1st time trying this place.... NEVER AGAIN

My issue is not with the food or the play area. We have always loved hat creek and love how safe and inviting it is for families. Unfortunately, that changed tonight. As we were seated on the patio I noticed a car pull up and a pitbull mix hopped out. The dog was PULLING the man around the parking lot and the man looked confused. My husband and I assumed he wasn't from around here and the dog just needed to go to the bathroom. Since the man looked confused , i told him from over the patio that I didn't think dogs were allowed. I have never ever seen dogs here and had no clue they were allowed. Fast forward about 5 minutes and this man is back on the patio and in my face. I'm with my small children and he's yelling for me to apologize. He asked my husband several times 'what he was going to do about it.' I was so SCARED. We are in the suburbs and not used to this kind of behavior. I quickly got the manager and told him the man was the issue and not the dog. The manager instead focused on the dog being fine and let the man behave in an unfriendly manner. His male child who looked to be about 12 even yelled at me, Management needs training in how to identify and excuse patrons who have poor behavior and tonight a family with 3 young kids were chased out of a place we loved. Further, Hat Creek is looking for a lawsuit as long as they allow dogs in an enclosed area with that many small children running around. A fast food worker is not qualified to determine whether or not a dog is well behaved. This dog was quite literally pulling the man around the parking lot and he left it with a tween when he went to order food. The boy could hardly control the dog as far as I'm concerned and the liability here is absolutely idiotic. Shame on you Hat Creek.

This place is great. Burgers are fresh. Friendly staff. Nice playground. My favorite is turkey burger with avocado. You will not be disappointed.

my family and I love this place. food is great, playground is great, and the staff are fantastic. I made a mistake on a party reservation and the manager was incredibly helpful. she figured it out for us. will be coming back and recommending.

Love how the business owner panders to all the patrons who have legitimate complaints about their he quality of the garbage that is served here. I came in here ordered a burger some tater tots and a chicken sandwich. Beyond sub par quality on all counts. These are franchised businesses who don't really go into he extra mile to give quality. People come here to let their little brat kids run around like they need to be on Ritalin To Taylor please don't insult my intelligence with a I'm sorry reply, no worries, I won't be back in this lifetime.

Great lunch so much I couldn't eat it all. Popped into this place my brother wanted me to try it so we had lunch here together. Nice outside place for kids to play while parents with friends can hang out.

Great burgers and even better service.. the young man behind the register with glasses and brown hair gave us the best service ever, honestly he needs a raise! This young man went out of his way and was very efficient and courteous to everyone. We will be back for sure! Great job Hat Creek

I was in the area one day and my friend reminded me this Austin burger spot had just opened 3 locations in Houston around the same time. They have 1/2 indoor and 1/2 outdoor seating.....actually it's about 70% outdoors, but covered. On the menu are many kids favorites. I guess they're giving Fuddruckers down the street competition too. I ordered the double with the free toppings: grilled onions and jalapeños. I give them an F on their sauces, the hat sauce, happy sauce, and fry sauce. They taste like 1000 island, a weird mustard concoction, and a 2nd lighter 1000 island sauce. Not sure who would put these on their fries and actually LIKE it. As far as the burger, it's fresh beef served hot and each party is 1/4 lb. Pretty tasty with the first several bites. By the end, it's not as delicious, but still a decent fast casual burger. I didn't try the shakes, but they are popular because many people were ordering them.
