"Atlanta was a little late getting on the trendy hot chicken train, but as the new Hattie B’s squeezed onto a tight Westside corner hints, the city is onboard now. With fried chicken doused in sauces ranging from “Southern” (zero sauce) to “Shut the Cluck Up” (hotter than Georgia asphalt in July), take your tastebuds on any journey you like. Counter the heat with the chunky, old-fashioned cole slaw. Go with the crusty, not-too-sweet peach cobbler to ensure your meal ends on the right track." - DeMarco Williams

"The westside Atlanta location of Hattie B’s Hot Chicken officially opens for business Wednesday, August 3, at the corner of 10th Street and Howell Mill Road. It is the only Hattie B’s with a private dining room seating up to 48 people. The regular dining room and bar seats 92 people, with additional seating for 42 people on the courtyard patio. The menu includes Hattie B’s signature fried chicken in six levels of heat and Southern sides. Exclusive items include draft cocktails and a meatless hot chicken sandwich. The restaurant was founded by Nick Bishop Sr. and Nick Bishop Jr. in Nashville, with the first Atlanta location opening in 2018 on Moreland Avenue." - Beth McKibben
"Prepare for more Nashville hot chicken heat — Hattie B’s is opening a second Atlanta location at 10th Street and Howell Mill Road in Home Park. The new Hattie B’s, located around the corner from Steven Satterfield’s Miller Union, should open next spring. The 4,800-square-foot building, with seating for up to 200 people, will become Hattie B’s largest location yet. Current design plans include a recessed patio for outdoor dining and games like corn hole." - Beth McKibben
