Haute Sweets Hillcrest Village

Went in here for ice cream after taking the kids to the indoor playground nearby on a hot day....holy molly was the ice cream great. We tried different flavors and honestly can not decide on a favorite. The service was great as well, we were even offered broken waffles cones to take home free.

It was a bit crowded on the weekend. The staff behind the counter was very welcoming and happy to serve us a few mouthwatering treats. Their prices are a bit on the high side, but it's worth the deliciousness that's sure to come. I especially love their Oatmeal Cream Pies—they remind me of the Little Debbie ones I ate growing up except thicker, softer, and pleasing to the taste buds!

We make it a point to stop here any time we are in the neighborhood. They have the best sweets. My sister in law swears by the cinnamon ice cream and was pleasantly surprised to find it! I get the oatmeal cream pie (or oatmeal whoopie pie). It's like a giant oatmeal cream pie and it is delicious. I can't finish it in one sitting but I will take it home and it on it for a few days. I highly recommend stopping in to grab a tasty treat!

Such a cute little dessert spot! There are so many options for desserts including chocolates, cookies, small cakes, and ice cream! There is not much seating inside but there is an adorable park outside where you can sit and kids can play. They also have of gluten free options!

On Fat Tuesday, I was looking for a themed dessert to try. I used Google to search bakeries by my location that particular day. I found Haute Sweets & purchased 2 Mardi Gras Bread Pudding, which was fresh and delicious and a hit with my husband. I ordered online & my items were neatly packed and awaiting my arrival. The two young men working at the bakery were polite. I came back two days later for some lemon bars, which were very good. I'm glad I found this little gem.

This was my first time visiting here and I was very disappointed! I got the deep dish chocolate chip and brookie. They both tasted insanely salty. I took a bite of both of them and threw them away. The employee working was nice but I wasn't impressed with the product.

The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. We’ve ordered multiple custom orders from both this and their East Dallas location and they are our special occasion bakery of choice. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or even a wedding (yes they did our wedding cake and macarons), we trust them to make every detail absolutely perfect!

Staff was very nice, which is always a plus. I do feel like they are a little over priced for what they offer compared to other bakeries. However the items we bought were ok, might try something different next time.

So have it admit I first became acquainted with this place when they did desserts at Burger Fight this year and served their Oatmeal Cream Pie. It became my partner's favorite dessert in DFW so wanted to try some more items of theirs. This location was super easy to get to and when we walked in were greeted right away by the person behind the counter. They were super friendly and explained to us some of their, and other customer's, favorite items. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and I appreciate that. We tried the following: Oatmeal Cream Pie: Again, the reason why we went and was just as good as we remembered. This is not your childhood cream pie as it's 100% better. The big brookie: it was cooked well and the chocolate chip cookie topper on it had sea salt that added to its appeal. Definitely recommend. S'mores cookie: Another hit with us. Well cooked and you can taste the flavor profile throughout. Recommend again. Chocolate Cream Pie: So will be honest that this wasn't my favorite because I want to say it's dark chocolate for the cookie (not my favorite) and also since I had the oatmeal cream pie prior I thought it would be the same filling and it wasn't. So totally a personal preference but was still good overall. Recommend only if you're into dark chocolate. Overall it was a great experience and will be back for sure it gets some sweets again soon!

A family member wanted to go to Haute Sweets so we decided to go there after having lunch a few minutes away. The location was nice and clean and there was no line upon arrival. There were so many delicious treats to choose from. It took me a few minutes to narrow it down to just a couple of treats for my first visit to the location. I decided on the mini cheesecake and coconut lemon bar. The mini cheesecake was very delectable and filling. I didn't eat the lemon bar until hours later and it was just as good. I will be visiting the location again for more delicious desserts.

Staff was extremely helpful with on point recommendations. I really love what this center has turned into and I'm so excited they are here! We were interested in getting a custom cake for our daughter's first birthday and they said they could have us order it through their flagship location in Lake Highlands but pick up here -- awesome! Stand out selections include: Paleo Banana Chocolate Chip Cookie (recommended by both employees as their favorite and they weren't wrong) Amaretti (delicious with mad coffee dunking potential) Cherry Almond Macaron Coconut Lemon bar Can't wait to come back and get the Oatmeal cream cookie. Yum!

We found this place on yelp and wanted to just give it a try. Im on the hunt for a great bakery here in Dallas. Anyway the best thing here was the cheesecake. Everything else we tried was ok. I would go to this place only if i was in the area and not go out of my way to come here.

Stopped by to check the place out...lots of goodies here! I was greeted warmly by friendly helpful staff. Pondering macaroons, cookies, cupcakes or ice cream, I settled in on my weakness, ice cream! The Oreo Cookie Ice Cream was delicious!

An awesome place to fulfill that sweet tooth urge. Great location with plenty to do surrounding it.

Came here like 30 minutes before closing but the workers were so nice in providing recommendations. The store is small and cute. We were looking for cake but unfortunately they dont really do a lot of cake options. Cheesecake was delicious however, the texture and sweetness is just right. The banana bread is so addicting, i couldnt get enough of it. I wasnt crazy about the lemon tart however, and could do without. Definitely will be back to try their other stuff!

We love the original location, so we thought we would give this one a try to. Same delicious pastries.

We are thrilled to have a Patisserie in the neighborhood...and a darling one, at that! This time, we ordered a red velvet cupcake and two macarons. All three were scrumptious. Price is a bit high (9.50!), but a delicious treat, nonetheless. BONUSES: great location by the park, woman-owned, friendly staff

The ice cream was decent but not great. The pastry we got (some kind of pecan thing) tasted like it had been in the freezer for a month: that odd chemical freezer burn taste. We actually threw it out without finishing it; we won't be back.

Haute is the BEST! Always delicious & a must have after a great dinner. Shout out to Eric, who personally paid for my 5 yr olds 2nd scoop of ice cream after he dropped his first one moments after we left. Great customer service & they belong in this cozy neighborhood hangout of a place. Grab a raspberry macaroon while you're here too! DELISH!

I'm glad they have this in our neighborhood now. The staffs here are awesome and friendly . Not too many options but enough to feed that sweet cravings. Very good ice creams here. The kids love it .

It was okay. Kinda suspected more but that's what I get for getting my hopes up. I don't hate it but the creme brûlée I do no recommend at all.

This place has an amazing variety of desserts. Everything was delicious. I picked up 4 different desserts to share with friends. Our favorites were the lemon olive oil cake, the chocolate crumble and the pecan pie tart. The service was very friendly too!

The baked goods I tried were average. I ordered chocolate crunch cake. Didn't seem very fresh. The ganache was on the hard side and cake was a little dry. I also tried the vanilla cupcake. The frosting was like eating whipped Crisco with no flavor. The cake part was rubbery. My husband got the chocolate cream pie, which was 2 chocolate cookies with cream in between. He really liked it. They told me they make their baked goods off site. The ice cream is from Fire Fly Ice Cream in Richardson.

My mother got me a red velvet brownie and a red velvet cupcake as a gift. They were both delicious and took me by surprise! They were decadent and rich. I could only eat half of the brownie at a time because it was so rich, but it kept well in the fridge. The cupcake was perfect. It had a cream cheese frosting that was well balanced and you could tell it was cream cheese! (I know that sounds redundant, but there are many places that say cream cheese frosting and it tastes like pure sugar.) I will definitely become a regular at this establishment. Also, I wasn't expecting to do a review so I didn't take pictures, but all of the pictures that are on yelp already show a great representation for what I had. Everything was so amazing I just had to write a review. Give them a try!

If you have a sweet tooth you should Definitely be patronizing our new little shop I have never had ice cream this delicious in my life! And the chocolate morsels that I bought - Unbelievable! They have coffee and espresso so I know I'll be in there often (:

The cinnamon cruffin was dry and not buttery at all. The caramel macaron was pretty good, however I noticed that with all of the flavors, she tried to make it taste like you were eating that food I.e. strawberries, caramel or mango, as opposed to a macaron with a little jam in the middle. I didn't like it. But I loved the chocolate chip cookie and the s'mores cookie was amazing.

Wow, our family's favorite bakery has opened a 2nd location, and it's closer to home! What a sweet spot, too! Hillcrest Village shopping center is under going an overhaul - 20 years ago, the hottest thing in this area was Starbucks and Albertson's, now we have haWt! tex-mex restaurants, super sweet indie bakeries, and a community play-area for the kids! Loving it! The first time we came it was a bit hard to find because we were walking over from Kids Empire. It is across the lawn from Lada and the best place to park is in the very back of the shopping center. Lots of parking back there. We love everything - the cream pies, the cupcakes, the gluten free almond cherry bars, and lemon bars, mocha crunch cake.. yes, I could go on and list everything on their menu. It's a really great bakery, and you know what is even sweeter? Now there is a great place to enjoy these treats right outside their shop. The staff at this location are super friendly also.

My daughter and I visited for the first time last night. The young lady on duty was very nice and professional. My husband loved his milkshake, and my daughter highly recommends the oatmeal cream pie cookie. It's nice they have a couple of vegan and gluten free options, too. Wishing them much success at this location.
