Hawaiian Bros Island Grill

I ordered about 3 weeks ago and it was amazing! The only problem was I only got a regular size so tonight I go and order the large and 2 protein option....honestly I think I got more food with the regular size than this large I mean it's almost double the price for same to less amount of food.... also couldn't hardly order cause the guy taking had either a phone playing music or they had the radio blasting inside....

I truly have to rave about Dre! As soon as we walked in it instantly felt like we were visiting family we didn’t know we had, the friendliness that followed the warm welcome helped our first experience there an awesome one! Very patient and the food is very delicious… new favorite food is the teriyaki chicken with rice and Mac!

First timer, and I enjoyed the food, as i have never had Hawaiian food. We had the Molokai chicken, Huli Huli chicken, and the Luau pig. Personally, my favorite was the Molokai. There wasn't a crowd, but we ordered on the kiosk, and we received our food shortly after. Definitely will be back! 🐔🐖🍚🍽

Stopped in with a buddy and we were seriously impressed. The chicken was tender and packed with flavor, the rice was perfectly cooked, and the mac salad hit just right — creamy and classic. The Spam musubi was one of the best we’ve had outside of the islands. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Friendly service and great vibes all around. We’ll definitely be back!

I ordered the Huli Huli and Molokai mix bowl and oh my gosh…..DELICIOUS! The food was not only out of this world but the service was phenomenal from Tito especially! Such a welcoming presence! Definitely coming again :)

Wife, daughter and I just ate lunch here. We live far out and it’s always a treat when we are able to stop at Hawaiian Bros. Food was delicious as always. The friendly smile and professional service from Paige J was beyond expectations. Highly recommend this location! 10/10

If you're looking to get a bunch of food for a good price, this is definitely the place to look for. I feel like Hawaiian places don't get a lot of love over here but it's worth a try at least once. Portion sizes are great at most Hawaiian restaurants and this is definitely true of Hawaiian Bros as well. Most plates (if not all?) come with a side of rice and mac salad. Rice was cooked well, but the mac salad wasn't my favorite. The "Luau Pig" plate is what I ordered and it's just a Kalua Pork plate -- it's very heavy but has good flavor. One thing that I think could use work is how much fat is being served on the plate. There have been a few instances in the past where I felt I was given a lot of fat rather than the pork itself, but I imagine it can't be helped sometimes. I also had a pineapple dole whip which was light, airy, and very refreshing! The service at this location was amazing! The cashier was great at giving my sister, who was new to this restaurant, some of her personal recommendations. She also made sure to check up on us throughout our meal, and did the same for other customers in the restaurant. I'd say this leans more toward a fast-casual restaurant. Most people lean towards takeout but the dining area is decently fleshed out and has enough space for groups to come in and sit down to enjoy their meals in the restaurant as opposed to exclusively takeout places. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a well-priced meal!

I am a regular visitor to Hawaiian Bros and a fan. This is just a different location for me. I have been here a few times now and the service and food has been great. I ordered the Huli Huli Chicken made fresh and with plenty of flavor. To describe Huli Huli Chicken it is pieces of dark meat chicken gilled I think not sure how they cook the chicken. Taste is sweet and savory like a teriyaki sauce. Served over rice you pick a side I get the macaroni side it is good but a little heavy with mayonnaise. They have other meals to pick from. I have had most of them all similar just different heat level and a little different taste. When you go inside you can use the front counter to order with an employee. They are helpful and ready to assist you. Or you can do it yourself at a kiosk. It is easy to do, and they will still help you out. After you order sit down and the food comes out or they call your name. Usually very fast we have not waited long. Download the app for check-in to get points for a later discount. And a free Dole Soft Sever when you sign up.

Always good food. They forgot my Spam Mosubi today but aside from that one mistake I never have a complaint

This is the second time I try this place and extremely dissatisfied on the chicken qualify and potion.

The lady we ordered from was very nice and helpful. It did not take to long to get our food. We ate inside and the place was very clean. Loved the music. The food was just OK. The flavor was just OK. A lot of rice. Maybe add cabbage to the plates.. The teriyaki sauce was not good in my opinion. Mo' Bettahs is just better.

Kau Kau time...brought me back to my days at home. Mahalo for the good grindz and options...much better than L&L.

This is 1 of the best random spots my friend & I decided to go to and we've both been to Hawaii and the food here is pretty close Dre's customer service was top notch and Diamond was solid too when they brought out food to us. We're definitely gonna come back.

I have been here a total of 4 times and each time after the first one the quality has declined. My first visit was amazing and they packed my plate to the max so much so I couldn't finish. My recent visit I was still hungry after I finished my plate. They got extremely skimpy on the portion sizes. Not only that the chicken tasted rubbery and to top it off the macaroni salad I fell in love with has become straight crap. It started out thick and creamy and kind of bonded together like in my original pic but the last time it was loose and watery. Want a disappointment this place has become. Not sure if management is trying to save a penny or not but I will no longer pay for poor food quality. I'm glad you guys made a good first impression because it gave you an additional 3 more visits but I can't continue to come here any more until things go back to how it was the first time.

Gray was very helpful in the front. I had never tried this place before and not only was it delicious but the service was amazing!

Wow, this place was definitely worth the wait! Food was delicious, I also tried the yogurt/soft serve... it's a must have! Service was great and nice and it's defiantly a clean and well kept establishment.

I recently discovered Hawaiian brothers and I'm working to try various things. I've been to this location once my mother and I had their soft serve swirl I love the fact that it's both nondairy and non- I recommended staff were pleasant and easy

For dinner I had Hawaiian Bros Island Grill and it was an absolute delight! I opted for the small Molokai chicken meal and it was the perfect size for me. The chicken was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a delicious smoky flavor. The portion size was plenty, and it came with a side of Mac salad and perfectly cooked rice. The combination of flavors was incredible, transporting me straight to the beautiful islands of Hawaii. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. So, this visit was 3 stars, but it should have been 4. Olga helped me at the counter, and she was a superstar. Great employee! Both of my orders had substitutions, and she got it right on the receipt. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't do so good. There were only 3 tables taken so they weren't busy. So there is no reason to get my order wrong. I got back to the hotel room, and part of Glenda's order is missing. No, I'm not driving back to correct their mistake. I called Olga, and she promised to make it right next time. Glenda and I both liked the Honolulu chicken. Great flavor! My Kilauea chicken was slightly spicy and very tasty. I loved the macaroni salad! I'll get it every time! I bet Glenda's seasoned vegetables would have been great if they had of been in the sack. If you join their email club, you get a free soft serve. The Dole pineapple and raspberry soft serve was fantastic! So good! I think you'll really enjoy Hawaiian Bros Grill, if they get your order right.

Update: I messaged through the Hawaiian Bros website and told them what happened. Management messaged me and apologized for the situation. They gave me some credit for my troubles. I went to the Alliance location and they were amazing. I called before I went to make sure that I wasn't going to waste my time or gas going there. They didn't give me any problems about my coupon or credit. Orginal review was one star and the following info. I used to love this place. However, I tried to use my buy one get one free coupon. The manager on the drive through today refused to accept it. He said he couldn't use it because he hadn't heard anything about it. I tried to show him my phone, but he refused to look at it. He was very rude. I won't be going back to this location ever again. I drove 20 minutes each way to go to this location.

Hawaiian style food that's tasty and done fast! I love chicken and rice and their Huli Huli chicken is just so tender and sweet! It's also a huge plus that their teriyaki sauce is gluten free which is incredibly rare! Hawaiian Bros. consistently comes through with tasty food and fast service every time!

Walked and in got a small plate of Huli chicken, rice and macaroni salad. It was the perfect size for my lunch. The place was bright, cheerful, with a friendly lady manning the counter. I was visiting from out of town and it was perfect for a quick solo lunch. Only a couple other tables occupied. Definitely a cheerful vibe.

I thought this place was okay. I got the spicy chicken (Kilauea Chicken) and of course it has the rice and Mac and cheese salad. I expected the chicken to be very spicy and it wasn't at all. But it was still good, I did expect there to be more chicken there was a lot of rice even under my chicken. I would go back and try something different but it's not like making me want to try it so bad this week. The dole whip is not bad. I liked the combination of them both, I'm more of a ice cream or snow cone girl. I'm not big fan of whipped things. (Whipped icing, whipped cream, etc) so it was very airy texture that's not my favorite. I'd give it a try in Hawaii though (;

So I didn't realize the is a chain. I ordered the large platter with pork and the spicy chicken. It was so delicious. My sister says their Dole is better than Diz"knee". I was super impressed and it was enough food for both of us.

Had my first Hawaiian bros experience while visiting from Houston and omg! The line was really long at Jack in the box so I decided to try something new and I'm glad I did! I sailed through the drive through Wednesday night and the female attendant (she was wearing a hat but I think she had medium to light hair and glasses) was SO nice! I'm dairy free so I had to get the dole whip swirl she suggested and also ordered spam masubi and the salad. The food was great but I was most impressed by the hospitality and speed of service. Will be back!

Dre was absolutely the BEST! We came with a huge group with a bunch of little kids, and he was so thoughtful and sweet in helping us get situated and figuring out the menu and ordering. He made us feel so welcome, absolutely above and beyond service--we will definitely come back just because he was so great. Food was good too, and came out super fast!

Love this place! Lightning fast service, food is delicious! Dole whip is a 10/10. Who would have thought Fort Worth has delicious Hawaiian food. It looks like a little Hawaiian retreat inside.

Hawaiian food is a cuisine that you either like or don't. Some don't like the musubi. Some don't care for the macaroni salad. Well, good for me because I like both! If you haven't had Hawaiian food before, keep an open mind and know that this is very similar to the food in hawaii! Expect the meat to be coated in sweet sauce. There are spicy options too. I forget the name of the very spicy meat but it was good and I needed the macaroni salad to help reduce the heat haha. Every take out dish I've ordered gives me multiple teriyaki sauce packets, but I've never needed them since I found the plates packed with flavor. The musubi is good, I di wish we could get it with raw fish too. Yum!

the food taste burnt and was burnt.. it is only like 8:00 when I ordered the food so I don't understand why it was burnt.see if it was like right before closing time I would understand. and i would understand if it was a little burnt but it was the whole chicken pieces were straight black.

worker was really nice accommodating to us at 1am, we placed an online order and it was all packed well and nicely! we got dole whip but one was made with the strawberry swirl but the worker was so nice to let us keep it and made us a new one with just pineapple :,) the food was sooo good, a tad salty but still great

Stopped looking for something new. And I must say I saw new. The ordering system was pretty cool. The place was packed and well as the Drive-thru backed up. The picture of the soft serve won me. No sooner than I say down to review my order was ready.

We FINALLY visited Hawaiian Bros Island Grill... why did it take us so long?! Well, we fell in love immediately for four (4) reasons. First, the menu includes plenty of options (but not so many that you feel overwhelmed including Small/Original/Large serving size options. [Shoutout for the Molokai Chicken that is JUST a bit spicy!] Second, this location is maybe a minute from I-20 on Bryant Irvin, with TONS of parking. Third, the staff - wowza - the staff are awesome - from the cooks in the kitchen creating this deliciousness to the pickup/cashier attendees - EVEN IN SUPER-BUSY TIMES, these folks wear a smile & are patient & helpful. Fourth and last, but NOT least, THE FOOD IS GOOOOOOOOOD, flavorful, & unique - Hawaiian represented well, from the Luau Pork to the teryiaki chicken to the Spam(R) to the pineapple soft serve. We are bookmarking for MANY many repeat visits in the future.

Go ahead and shutter this place and put that "For Sale" sign out front. For a restaurant that has 7 menu items and a smattering of sides it is astounding how much the staff struggled to get our order correct. First impression--below par. And that's just the service. Let's talk food. Inconsistent is putting it nicely. The veggies were sort of mushy, sort of tender-crisp. Some were cooked well and some just felt like per-blended baby food, and I think they lost the top of their pepper shaker when seasoning the veg. The rice was so bland. White rice does not have to be bland but it is--mind blowingly bland. The chicken (we tried the Honolulu and Molokai) are nearly indistinguishable in flavor and so incredibly salty. And why put the chicken on a bed of rice when you get the nasty rice as a side? Most of what we ordered ended up in our compost bucket. I guess the worms will be the only ones eating Hawaiian Bros. in the future.

Love the food, but guys DO NOT order this place on doordash an hour before they close. They will not make your food at all. I have had this happen to me twice already. You can't even cancel it because i guess their system accepts orders automatically. You have to go through dasher support to cancel which is a pain. In order for this not to happen, CHANGE YALLS DOORDASH ORDER SETTINGS ON WHEN THEY COME IN. I have lost my credits because of this

From the time you walk in, you're welcomed with great service. You feel welcomed, cleanliness, and they even sell merchandise. We have never been here before and the gentlemen explained everything on the menu and even told us which was his favorite. Even let us sample one of the item to see if we liked the sauce. The food was fresh and very flavorful! Wish we had one back home! Def give this place a try you will not be disappointed!

Combo Large - Mixed Plate. Molokai and Honolulu chicken. Hawaiian Bros chicken is consistently good. There's not a whole lot of difference between the choices in my opinion... I've tried them all. The white rice is abundant and needs some of the teriyaki sauce dumped on it for any real flavor. The macaroni salad is pretty good, but it's macaroni salad... there's a ceiling there. But if you're craving some good Pacific-inspired chicken because you're burned out on hot chicken, (I know ... impossible), give this place a try.

LOVED this place whenever it first opened, but it has slowly gone downhill since then, and tonight was the last straw. I ordered a LARGE (which is $5.00 extra!!!!) and received a portion size that resembles a regular size. To add on, the quality of food is simply not what it used to be. Ridiculous to charge $5.00 extra dollars and serve the same amount of food as a regular size. Unless they get their act together we will never be returning!!!!!!!

Hawaiian Bros is pretty good. The food was pretty good. The service was pretty good. The place was clean. The only thing I would recommend is the whip. It was way too thick and the strawberry flavor was not good but I would get pineapple.

We were so impressed with the staff and the food. This was our first time to eat at a Hawaiian Brothers and our meals were delicious. The staff was the friendliest and genuinely concerned about making sure we were taken care of. Very rare these days! This corporation must be doing something right for their employees.

I liked it's not bad they just have a very small simple menu. I believe there's just a few options for protein all chicken and only one pork. You get white rice and macaroni salad no other sides to choose from. That was a bummer but I've never been to Hawaii so maybe that's all they eat? They had a few items on the menu I wanted to try but they were out of stock so i couldn't tell you if those were good. The entrance to the shop is weird and awkward but you can use kiosks computers to order from but they didn't work and the layout was really unorganized. Every time I tried to finish my order the only option I had was either add rewards or to go back. But when you go back you had to start over again. There was no continue or press to finish or pay. I was on it for five minutes so I just went to the register instead. For $16 it really wasn't worth the value for a small plate of food and a canned drink and a dole whip. As far as food review goes the pork was ok umm very salty and for people like me with high blood pressure I couldn't really eat it with out the instant headaches and the chicken was not spicy at all. I wanted to try the other ones or if they had a choice of getting a plate with more than just two meat options would be nice but they were out of stock on the other chicken so meh

Absolutely delicious. When I come to town I refuse to leave without getting some of this deliciousness. The service is always wonderful, and the experience is great. It's clean and the music lends to the experience. I plan to keep coming for many years to come.

I've always seen Hawaiian Bros Island Grill but never tried it until recently. There are some mixed feelings about this place, but overall, it was quite delicious, with the exception of some things. We ordered the Molokai Chicken, Pacific Island Salad, Spam Musubi, and a water. The Molokai Chicken came with a Macaroni Salad. It was pretty good and definitely flavorful, but there weren't a lot of chicken. Additionally, the Macaroni Salad wasn't good at all, but that's my own preference. The Pacific Island Salad tasted pretty good and flavorful, too, but make sure you use the sauce that comes with it! The Spam Musubi was probably the best out of all of the dishes we ordered. It had the perfect combination and was still very hot by the time we received it. As for the customer service, we ordered through drive-thru. We weren't given a total prior to paying, which was a bit odd. When we asked for a cup of water (hoping it would be from the drink machine), the staff member said he'll put down a bottle of water for us, which wasn't what we expected either. We were hoping for a free cup of water but was charged for a bottle of water. Overall, the location is in a nice, crowded area. The food is delicious, but if you absolutely have to try anything, try the Spam Musubi. Don't order a cup of water through the drive-thru unless you want to pay for a. bottle of water. I'd visit again just to try another dish.

Initially, I had a problem with my first visit! The chicken was sweet & the macaroni salad had an overdose of black pepper! The Manager read my review & provided me with a gift card to give them another chance!! I'm so grateful I did! I ordered the Kilauea Chicken which is spicy just what I had initially asked for but was given something else! The macaroni salad was much better!! I love the Dole pineapple dessert! So refreshing. The young man checking me out was very kind & professional! Therefore, I can't really comment on the ambiance since it was a to go order! I have found my favorite spot with my favorite Hawaiian plate now!! The Manager cares about the patrons & wants to meet their expectations!! They recently put $10 on my account as a birthday gift!! Thank you so much!!

Always been a fan. They are always friendly and have a great vibe. The food is amazing a small plate is just perfect for a quick lunch. I could tell you how good everything is here because it is great. However, if you come here and you do not get Dole whip you may need to reconsider a few life choices and head back to get some.

We're from Los Angeles, so we have high expectations! The food was pretty good. Yes the macron salad was kinda peppery, but it was still creamy and good. The chicken was tender and spacey just like I love it. Kam was the young man who took our order, brought us our food, and even checked on us to make sure we had enough sauces. We're satisfied. Not exactly like LA, but better than some places we've been here!

First time trying it. Delicious and fresh. The manager is super nice she let me stay late to eat fresh food that came out I had to wait so even tho it ran past lobby hours she let me eat and left the music on. I was going thru a stressful move first day in town hadn't eaten all day and eating fresh fruit and veggies with meat and rice while listening to peaceful Hawaiian music was a blessing. Then the dole whip dessert is amazingly light and refreshing. New favorite place for me

Amazing food. Pleasant customer service. After my daughter spotted and wanted to try them. We sat at the speaker for a second trying to figure out what to order. The lady was patient and helpful is her recommendations. The food was really good. My daughter said "better than Panda Express" lol and their soft serve was heavenly. Highly recommended

I am going to be generous, as this really is a 3.5 at best....but my earlier review of a 2 was overly critical... Look...its REALLY sweet and syrupy, and if you dig that then this is your place. But I have been back several times (including heading over today) for the single serving, and the rice is cooked perfect and that danged mac salad is growing on me! Again, if you like sweet, you will like this...

This was the first time we visited a Hawaiian Bros. We didn't know the process and we were a bit confused for the first few minutes. Once the server noticed, she explained. The food was good, but nothing to 'write home about'. Still a good place for a quick, fairly interesting, meal.
