Where to Find Delicious Fish and Chips Around D.C. | Eater DC

"Named the mascots at local high schools Madison and GC Marshall, U.K. native and Pure Pasty owner Michael Burgess teamed up with architect Tom Kyllo in 2021 to bring Vienna a bustling British pub with live music and trivia nights. Its thoughtful fish and chips ($22) features fresh cod dipped in beer batter. Its tartar sauce counterpart is also made on-site." - Tierney Plumb

15 Vienna Virginia Restaurants the Northern Virginia Neighborhood Loves to Visit | Eater DC

"This British-style pub pays attention to both the drink and food side of the menus. British classics like bangers and mash and an excellent fish and chips dominate the latter (check out the pasties from neighborhood purveyor Pure Pasty Co. as well), while the former impressively has a menu of 20 or so different gin and tonic combinations, as well as several takes on Pimm’s Cup." - Missy Frederick

First visit - very pleased! Lots of lunch time guests, but we were quickly seated. It smelled wonderful and it was beautiful inside, lots of dark wood, and soccer on multiple tv’s. Bathrooms were clean and I enjoyed a quick game of darts in the back. We enjoyed the fish & chips & the crispy fish sandwich, both were very good and went perfectly with our Guinness’ You have to save room for the STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING (cake) with ice cream for dessert. Definitely will get that again!!!! We really enjoyed it here and I know you will too.

Sunday toast was already sold out, I'll try again another week, getting the beer battered cod fish bites, steak and ale pie, and soaking in the atmosphere. The fish bites and the tartar sauce were spot on. Steak snd Ale pie was alright, they both burned the edge of the crust and still had a cold spot in the middle. The skin on chips were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, not a soggy one in the bunch, also nothing was too hard or too crunchy. Not a patch on the chips I had in Soho. I'm definitely coming back for the roast and the rest of the menu.

Excellent British pub in Vienna. British fare, Pub atmosphere and British beer in "proper" 20 Oz pints! Extensive menu of Britsh and "regular" food. We had the Shepherds Pie and Chicken and Leek pie. Both were delicious. Mushy peas and chips! The corn soup app. wad also good. Service was great. We sat outside on a very pleasant evening. Inside it looks like a pub with ample seating plus a long bar. They do have dart boards.

Full English breakfast is an indulgence that I had trouble finding around the area until Hawk & Griffin came along! Every component was cooked to perfection and I was full for the rest of the day after this! I really can't say much else other than this was a perfect meal and dining experience for me.

We had a great lunch in a private spot. The fish fry was great and the food came out fast. I wasn’t a fan of the sticky toffee pudding however. It seemed stale and it was tough. I didn’t eat it. We will absolutely go again.

Food: We ordered Coronation Chicken Salad/Sandwich, Wings, and steamed vegetables & Mashed Potato as sides. We really loved the chicken salad sandwich, it was the Best I had so far! But, wings were hard and not enough sauce. Mashed Potato was not cooked enough so was felt little hard. Service: Our server was nice and polite. Atmosphere: Nice place to watch games; they have multiple TVs and a projector on. Overall good, but hopefully minor food quality things will change.

Google
Great pub atmosphere and decor. Very like being back in Britain. Have been twice with different groups and all parties liked the food, decor. One group included 3 kids under 11 - they liked the offerings on the Kid's Menu. Very helpful and friendly staff. Had one very positive interaction with a manager. They changed the TV to my college football team - and they WON! I call that good Karma. I look forward to going back soon. Parking can be a challenge.

--- Update to the owner's response --- Hi there. I wasn’t expecting such a heated response. I want to clarify a couple of things. First, I didn’t "throw my husband under the bus"—I simply shared his reaction to the fish. He’s British, he’s had a lifetime of fish and chips, and his honest take was that the fish was overly wet. That’s not an attack; it’s just feedback from a customer with firsthand experience of the dish. Second, regarding the chips. In my experience, fish and chips do usually come with either frozen fries or fresh-cut ones that are double-fried for a crispier texture. These were more of a soft, rustic-style fry, which felt unexpected for a dish known for its crunch. That’s why I mentioned them feeling more like an American interpretation—it’s less about the fact that they were hand-cut and more about the texture. I understand that you’re passionate about your food, but I think there’s a way to stand by your work without attacking customers for having a different perspective. As for the coronation chicken, I think there was a misunderstanding. When I mentioned it being dry, I wasn’t expecting wet curry on lettuce—I was referring to the creamier consistency that coronation chicken usually has due to mayo or dressing. What I was served was more like a dry American-style chicken salad with curry seasoning, which is just different from what I was expecting. Just feedback, not an attempt to discredit your authenticity. I respect that you have many happy customers, and I’m sure plenty of people love what you do. My review was just my honest experience of the meal I was served, which I believe is the point of reviews in the first place. --- Original review --- Kinda yikes? Not trying to be rude, but honest. Went here with my husband who is British. I know people get real excited about “house cut fries” in the US, but it’s honestly a bit odd to see them served here for fish and chips. It’s like they’re trying too hard to be American’s stereotypical view of the British, i.e. quaint and old fashioned. Husband said the fish was overly wet, and asked me “What fish is this?” 😂. Also had the coronation chicken salad. Real coronation chicken has a lot more liquid/sauce. This was just American chicken salad with some curry spice and raisins. Oh yeah, and when I asked for butter I got two hilariously small rectangles in a cup.

Yelp
Great place for English food. We had lots of options including Indian food in their menu. We ordered fish , fries with cheese , then small pasties with pork . Our main dish we ordered fish and chips .very tasty . They only gave only large fish . Loved their chicken leek pie . Their drink menu was great . Coming back for sure .

Yelp
The booth we sat at was incredibly dirty on one side - like, it looked like a dirty sidewalk. Luckily, there were only 3 of us so we avoided it like the plague it probably contained. We were also sat in a slightly sectioned off area of the restaurant, which was actually nice given that the rest of the restaurant was blasting the Premier League. I ended up ordering the Tikka Masala. For $18 it tasted really similar to the frozen ones I get from Trader Joe's. Not a lot of spice to give it flavor. Portion wasn't anything noteworthy either. Plus, you have to pay extra to get both naan and rice. I personally would not return to this restaurant.

Yelp
Fantastic hh (what we came for), excellent in house bloody mix, with tequila and delicious olives. Food items looked authentic as well! Quaint interior with true pub style ! Warm service and welcoming environment.

Yelp
Fewer places seem to open for brunch by 9:00AM on Saturdays and Sundays. We were happy to find that Hawk and Griffin does open by 9:00AM. We both ordered the "half Monty" which was a lot of food (i.e., one egg, English bacon, two sausages(?), potatoes, beans and toast). (We now know we could not finish a "Full Monty". The coffee was hot and good and with free refills. The Premier League game was on; so this felt like a quick trip the London for the time we were in the pub. Surprisingly, it was almost empty at 9:30AM. We plan on returning.

Yelp
What a fantastic place to grab a pint! Come and enjoy a great selection of beers and the best fish and chips in the area. The staff is always friendly and working hard. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. I love coming here to watch football games. There's nothing like watching an exciting match with fellow fans. The pub does get very busy during games, so I recommend arriving early to avoid standing. Whether you want to enjoy a drink, watch a game, sing karaoke, throw some darts, or taste some comfort food, this place has it all.

Yelp
Great food, service and specials! Were there on a Friday afternoon recently and it was quiet and pleasant. They really have a British pub vibe. Music playing was all British hits-Britpop mostly, really enjoyed this place! Definitely recommend and will go again!

Yelp
Well prepared Pub food with abundant English beverages. Fish and Chips are our favorite.

Yelp
When I heard they had a roast dinner I was definitely intrigued. My friend and I came during lunch on a Sunday specifically for the roast dinner. It was definitely good but needed a little bit more seasoning. Our waiter was nice, but the service was a little bit slow. We waited a while to get our check. Overall experience was good and I would definitely give it a try once more.

Yelp
Hawk & Griffin is a little bit of the UK in the center of Vienna.  The former Joe's has been totally redone and is now a warm and welcoming environment full of eclectic kitsch that is really fun to notice.  Aside from the main room with the bar, there are two smaller and cozier rooms that are also available to rent.  The menu is authentic and offers a range of pub staples along with several Indian dishes.  On my visit, we had the chicken and leek pie which came with a nice side of crispy cucumber salad.  Dessert was the bread pudding with whisky sauce and a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.  The serving was generous and it was good.  Although Hawk & Griffin offers a page full of G&T options, being that it was fairly early, I opted for a nice pot of green tea.  The service was very friendly, attentive but not at all intrusive.  Hawk & Griffin offer a weekly calendar of activities, including trivia nights and live music.  As of yet, there is no high tea available but hopefully they will add that to their options one day.  The location is convenient and the lot is right there although it can get filled up pretty quickly.

Yelp
A bit out of the way for me but had heard good things. Because it's away from DC there's free parking, which is always a plus. Service was very good in this casual yet very comfortable setting. Food was also very good. Their specialty is fish and chips, which my wife and son both had (filling) and I had the chicken and leek pic (cooked perfectly and delicious).

Yelp
really good stuff here. called ahead as we're on the road to see if my special angel cutie watch her Eagles game and the over was sweating to even hang out to reserve the one by the game. Great dos-haven't had such gods Limey hrub since i was back in London in '97! the Sunday Roast was even better than my ex's mum's! brings back great mentors. I' highly recommend this place!!
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent neighborhood bar, with live music, great food, nice beer selection and superb service. And if you like and follow soccer, you can catch the current games while having a beer at this bar. Highly recommend their fish and chips. Cheers!

Yelp
I could have sworn I've reviewed this place before. I've only been here for Sunday breakfast because I can get a proper British breakfast. Still love this place and my son loves a Sunday breakfast treat. Never too busy but may be a bit loud when a proper football game is playing.

L K.

Yelp
Great place for EPL football crowd: tv, socialization, drink, food, etc -- but unfortunately prices too high !! Added: cheers to the natural British citizens and support to Tommy R. !!!

Yelp
Great service, great food, great tea, great atmosphere! Lovely place to go. They really know how to serve a good pot of tea.

Yelp
First time visiting Hawk & Griffin, and it was a delightful experience. As a first-timer to British fare, I appreciated the waiter's recommendations. The three dishes suggested were fantastic and gave me a great taste of traditional British cuisine. The food and drinks were excellent, really capturing the essence of a classic British pub. The only downside was the parking; it was quite difficult to find a spot during the lunch period.
google avatar

Yelp
The most incredible breakfast I've had in a very long time, at a very affordable price. The service was friendly and welcoming, too. We will absolutely be coming here again, soon.

Yelp
Great food and great vibe. The Hawk and Griffin menu and atmosphere is quintessentially British. If you looking for good British pub fare, this is one of the best options out there.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was very good, we had Sunday brunch - she had the lamb roast Sunday dinner, I had the mixed English breakfast. Both were very good as was the Scotch Egg appetizer. The only thing that would have made it better would have been HORSERADISH for my Bloody Mary. How can you have a great Bloody Mary that's like eating your meat without eating your pudding. The service was friendly and prompt and the ambiance is indeed English Pub.

Alisha C.

Yelp
Hawk and Griffin is the best British food I've had so far stateside since I moved here. The English breakfast wasn't like mum's, but it was so lovely. I struggle to find a sausage in the states like Richmond sausages. Their sausages hit the spot! Great service, great vibe, and great drinks and food. 10/10.

Yelp
Nice neighborhood pub. Met friends there for lunch on Father's Day. The fish and chips are decent, Fish cake is good, and chicken wings are my favorite. Didn't try any of their beers because my friends were not having any alcohol. Will definitely comeback when I want a beer. Parking is a little difficult during busy times. Luckily we could just walk there.

Yelp
Visited a few weeks ago with my friend after happy hour after wanting to visit this spot for some time. It was a Tuesday night so it was quiet but a very nice relaxed vibe. They have a large selection of gin and the bartender gave us some info. I opted for the Tanquerey Rangpur with cucumber tonic and this was delicious. I love cucumber so I am biased. My friend's Sevilla orange gin and tonic was pretty good as well. I'd definitely come back here on a Friday night for darts and more drinks. Parking was easy enough as they have a lot and this is located down 123 off 66.

Yelp
We were looking for something different and found this British Pub/Restaurant on Yelp! As I spent two years abroad living in Liverpool UK, I enjoy a good fish and chips. So far I haven't been able to find authentic fish and chips with mushy peas. (The way the chippy does it in Liverpool) however, the fish here was good! Lightly breaded and a decent thick cut of cod dipped in beer batter ($22.) The chicken Caesar salad was fresh and delicious. The vibe here is very casual and relaxed. They have a little stage in the corner of the restaurant -looks like some live entertainment (possibly). The service was good, the bartender was our waiter and was attentive. (Both dishes enough for two people)

Yelp
Enjoyed lunch here today. Very warm, pubby wood decor. They have a cute fenced-in outdoor eating area. I liked my chicken masala a lot. Shredded chicken and not as tomatoey or soupy as I've had at Indian restaurants. Came with white rice. The portion of my dining partner's cottage pie seemed small, but it was fine for lunch. Would definitely return to try other dishes.

Yelp
I went there again on Sunday to give it one more try as a vegetarian. This time I got the Veggie Curry. Their old Chana Masala (chickpeas) is replaced with some veggie curry. As an Indian, I was excited to see what kind of curry this was. I chose the naan instead of rice. I'm sorry to say the veggie curry was horrible. It was way too salty and tangy. There was no Indian curry feeling at all. Instead, it's a bunch of veggies cooked in a tomato sauce that is way too salty. I could barely eat this thing. My husband loves this place. If you are a non-vegetarian, there are tons of options for you. Kids have a great selection too. As a vegetarian, I have the veggie pasty and this curry. There is a pancake option over the weekend too. But that's about it. I was hoping for this curry to be decent, but it's so bad :( I'll probably come here for drinks only. I hope the management team reads this and brings some good veggie options at that bar. Until then, I won't be coming here, unfortunately.

Yelp
FOOD/DRINK: 5/5 SERVICE: 5/5 AMBIANCE: 4/5 A friend recently posted pictures of their yummy food so we decided to take the trip to Vienna to try their British fare. AC was good on a hot day (not overly pumping but decent) and service was prompt. Menu was lengthy enough to waffle over but not too big. I settled on the cottage pie since I wasn't feeling the best and hubby got the bangers and mash. I chose the garden peas as my side. Hubby got some kind of English ale and I got a ginger ale. Service was quick and friendly. We got our food in a timely manner (but we also didn't get fish & chips, which probably take time). My cottage pie was a little oily (I think it's cooked in the cast iron it comes in) but the flavor was so good. The mashed potatoes were seasoned well and topped with bread crumbs and fresh herbs. Hubby ate his bangers and mash in 5 seconds and deemed it as incredible. I took half of my cottage pie to go since I couldn't eat it all. We split a Victoria sponge--it was incredibly soft and light. It had a fresh lemon curd with fruit in the middle. I highly recommend everything we got! Seems to be family friendly as well. Ambiance could be slightly better, a little kitschy but I didn't mind. Don't be fooled by the size! It's big inside and has a patio as well. I want to come back and try their famous fish & chips and scotch eggs. They have malt vinegar at every table (hubby is from MD so he was excited).

Yelp
Wow, walked in the door and was greeted by the Queen!, the decor made me feel I was in a pub in England. The had a full drink menu, consisting of Beers and a full page devoted to Different Gin & Tonics. They had a nice well rounded menu, but I went there for Cottage Pie. I'm a big fan of cottage pie, I was not disappointed, the cottage pie was great, well seasoned and topped with piped mashed potatoes, it came with a side, I chose a garden salad. If you want a taste of England in Northern Virginia you have to try Hawk & Griffin. Link to their menus: https://www.hawkgriffin.com/menus/

Yelp
Great pub, great food. I usually visit every other week for my fish and chips fix. Great for the kids as well. Sometimes they have a trivia night which is fun. The place is very classic and has a warm atmosphere. The service is excellent and the staff is great! Highly recommend, if you're in the area you should check it out and order all the pub classics

Mike R.

Yelp
It has literally been years since we were last here, through no fault of the establishment. We were both craving fish and chips and our nearest pub has been spotty at best in the consistency if theirs. Pleased to report the quality and quantity of the dish has held up and was really tasty. Well seasoned batter, fish cooked to perfection and the chips (fries) were rough cut and authentic. They managed a perfect pint of Guinness. It was really nice to see they offered smaller options than a pint, my wife like an occasional beer but generally can't do a full pint and still enjoy a meal. Bread pudding was quite good and sweet, well seasoned. Service was excellent, our server was prompt and considerate without hovering. Ambiance, the pub vibe is very present and although the room was loud, normal conversations was easy to accomplish. The entertainment, a young singer named Amanda Dove, had a nice voice and was adept at her instrument. Her voice lent itself well to her song selection. My observation was that all the customers seemed to be having a good time and given the reasonable prices it's easy to understand why. We will make every effort to visit again without the long interval.

Yelp
Love this place... good atmosphere, nice menu options and great selection of cocktails and beer. Our server was friendly and attentive. It's always a bonus with free parking too. Scotch egg-flavorful and loved the texture. Sausage pastry-was ok... I tasted more dough Meat pastry-flavorful and filling Beef and stout pie- it was good. I loved the pie crust. London mules- tasty... I would definitely get it again. I was never a gin fan till I had this cocktail.

Yelp
Server (Melek) was very sweet and helpful. None of us had eaten here before. Menu online lists Pasty which isn't on the menu anymore. Tw ordered fish & chips: the chips were not good. The fish was fine but only one piece of fish, a handful of cold chips and the cost is $22???? How do you have fish and chips be the most expensive thing on your menu? Our mom ordered steak and stout pie With a side of fries. She also did not eat her fries she said the steak and stop I was OK. One person ordered the chicken masala, but he was assured it's not spicy, but he found it to be very spicy. He enjoyed the rice thoroughly, but only ate some of his chicken. The other person who had fish and chips was not impressed either. He said the chips were cold, and the fish was not that good. Our fifth guest had a platter and her favorite part of dinner was the naan bread

Yelp
This UK pub was unique in the sense, when you first enter the place, they have a spot or room reserved for a priest or father. Pretty neat right? Never seen that before. I never had UK food before so I didn't have any expectation, nonetheless, it was a pleasant experience. I don't particularly have a taste for American food and it seemed that's what it was, it was very salty and fried food, of course being so people would drink more. The small plates: Scotch egg, Mini sausage rolls (6), fish bites, British chips. All very salty, like not soy sauce salty/fermented, but salt. As if the batter was 40% 50% salt. The veggie pasty was ok, not great at all. Just ok, it reminded me of a chicken pot pie. The Angus burger: It was huge and my favorite part about the dish was the buns, it was toasted and fluffy at the same time, so you get a fluffy CRUNCH when you bite into it. BUTT, the beef itself was super salty, maybe I have an issue with my tongue? Not sure if it's just me, but it was super salty. TDLR: A lot of everything here is salty, I could tell the flavoring was there, but it was overwhelmed with salt. Not sure what happened with the salt shakers.

Yelp
This was my second visit to Hawk and Griffin and it was just as good as last time. My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner around 4 pm, after catching a matinee. We were promptly greeted at the door and seated. Restaurant was about half full and had both soccer and US football on the TVs, although it was filling up when we left around 5:30. I got the hamburger and fries. I added cheese and a fried egg to the burger. It was excellent -- juicy and tasty. The fries were crispy and has just the right amount of seasoning. I had the Hawk and Griffin Pilsner with my meal. Fresh and smooth. My wife got the fish cakes and said they were delicious. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting to find a British pub in Vienna, VA sitting right next to Wawa, but life is always full of surprises! I came here for a weekday lunch with a friend and we ordered the scotch egg, fish & chips, and a burger. While some may balk at paying $9 for a single egg, I definitely recommend getting this dish because you will not find it at any normal American restaurant. I've only ever seen these in the UK! The presentation of the dish, pictured below, made the price tag more palatable. The fish and chips were also quite good, with delicate and tender fish that flaked nicely when poked by a fork. Tip: the scotch egg + kids size fish & chips combo is a perfectly sized adult meal that allows you to sample the most pertinent British classics!

Yelp
Friends recommended that we meet here for breakfast one Sunday morning. The restaurant decor makes it look like a British pub, and it has a menu to match. I chose to go "all-in" with a Full Monty breakfast. it had eggs, British Back Bacon, breakfast sausages, black pudding, grilled mushrooms & tomatoes, potatoes, and baked beans, with toast, It was a large breakfast and very good. Grant, our server, was outstanding. He provided help with menu and was prompt with service. I'd like to go back in the evening and try their dinner selections.

Eydie Q.

Yelp
This place was such a pleasant surprise. First off, service was great from the host to the server. Second the food was amazing. Truly the best fish and chips I've had since I went to London a few years ago. The batter was light and the cod was very flaky and cooked perfectly. Ok I did sprinkle a little salt but that's just my palate liking more saltiness to go with the malt vinegar. My friend got the steak and stout pie and he liked it a lot, although this could've been a bit larger portion (He finished it in no time). I'll be coming back in the very near future since I'm now craving that fish and chips after writing this review.

Yelp
First time but won't be the last. Food was great. Beer yummy and service outstanding. So glad we found this place. We have told all our friends and we will be back!

Yelp
Excellent fish and chips. Loved the shandy but will try one of their Pimm's drinks next time.

Yelp
What a delicious place! It might be cozy, but I actually like seeing the Union Jack and British phone booth. Am a fan of their house beer, and eventually need to get away from its flavor. Best meal you can get is the fish and chips. Closest I've had to UK in the USA. Huge portions too, so you won't get hungry later. The bangers and mash is another treat. Yet what I especially like is the ambiance. The staff here greets you, and goes that proverbial extra mile. It's not easy these days to get such great service. You'll like it here. A good date or family spot. Parking is the only headache, but it's Vienna after all. Plus you don't have to sit in London que's, and pay per liter your petrol.
google avatar

Yelp
Was looking for fish and chips and found this place listed in yelp. This place has the look and feel of a British pub. The menu has British pub fare. I tried the fish and chips and the Jamaican jerk wings. the wings were notable. Hot and spicy. Best Caribbean wings I ever had. The fish and chips were delicious as well. Service was great. Folks were friendly and helpful. I will have to come back and try other items when I have more time

Yelp
Tried during Vienna restaurant week. They have an amazing gin selection. I had the best gin in tonic I've had here! Chowder as appetizer was good. The king chicken main (tomato and chicken?) was fine but nothing amazing. The toffee cake was surprisingly good. I thought it would be dry but it was not. Would revisit but none of the food is craving-worthy. Probably would go for gin in tonic and classic British pub food (fish and chips?) and desserts.
google avatar

Tay L.

Yelp
We really enjoyed their fish and chips. It was seasoned well and fried perfectly and the meat was nice and flaky. It didn't taste too greasy or oily either. Love that they have a menu with variety of gin based drinks as well! Outdoor area isn't THAT big but big enough to bring my pup along.

Shannon G.

Yelp
I do love this place. It's the beer selection, the pub food and the gin & tonics that remind me of days in Europe. The service is great.
google avatar

Vivi V.

Yelp
I came here for the first time here New Year's for brunch and to watch football game. Such a gem, this place has an English pub vibe when you walk in. The beef Wellington is quite good and I really like the nitro beer that the bartender recommrnded. Bartender is so friendly. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Great place to watch Premier League . Delicious food & great service. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This place is an adorable addition to Vienna! I thought the gin selection was great but the recommended G&T list is so much fun to go through. From botanical gins as well as other sweeter tonics, Hawk & Griffin is a place to try out a variety of cocktails. Also, the snacks are great too! I would say the fish bites are delicious (piping hot so be careful) and the scottish eggs are a delight! Make sure you swing by for a few gin and tonics to catch up with friends. I'll have to see whether there's a HH menu next time!

Great English pub food. Quiet even when lots of people are dining. And best of all Brentford Bees games are broadcast at H&G.

Yelp
So on my latest visit I am happy to say, the Bloody Mary recipe here has been updated and the standard Bloody Mix here (house made) includes HORSERADISH and is pretty bloody AWESOME. The full monty breakfast is also AWESOME, and the service and staff are BRILLIANT. The ambiance remains delightfully British Pub. This place is now a standard weekend breakfast/brunch place for me, especially when Crystal Palace is playing and broadcast.

Yelp
Our first time eating out AFTER TWO YEARS. We chose to eat outdoors to enjoy the very pleasant fall weather! We started with the scotch eggs - SO DELICIOUS! the eggs are a little runny and creamy, perfectly fried so every bite has a great crunchy texture as you bite into the soft egg. I also enjoyed the mustard garnish it came with. Of course I had to get the fish and chips! It is a British pub. The cod was fresh, the batter was delicious, crispy and well flavored. AND THE CHIPS??? omg it was delicious. It also came with mushy peas. I definitely recommend this place and would come back! They have outdoor seating and furry family members are welcome too!
