We’ve had this pizza before and really enjoyed it in the past. This time it was over burned and the food mall eating area wasn’t as clean as in the past. When I asked (at checkout) how their rewards program worked, the employee could not explain it.🤔 Hawt Pizza can text you (vs a pager) when your pizza is ready to pick up.

I’m currently on a pizza tour. Hawt Pizza was recommended to me to try out. So I normally just order a pepperoni pizza to keep all my reviews the same. But it was highly recommended that I order the Hawt Honey pepperoni pizza. Glad I did because it was really good. I smashed the whole thing in one sitting. Crispy and sweet with a little heat. I would definitely go back just for that pizza. If you do go here highly recommended ordering the hawt honey pizza.

Google
Got the margherita pizza and added the vegan sausage. It was really good! The only big feedback I have is the topping portions. For $5 extra, the sausage was sprinkled on like parmesan, I expected more.

Google
Been here a couple of times. The pepperoni with honey was good. I asked the lady at the counter for an idea and she suggested the pizza bianco or blano...something like that. It was exceptionally good. She was very kind and the recommendation was good. I also bought a tiny bottle of their chili oil and that was great with it too. I will keep it for the future visits. I also say they have good salads I want to try in the future.

Google
Idk about the past reviews, but the people taking the order and the dudes making and delivering were all great. Made a super small mistake and immediately went above and beyond to fix it. This is not the best pizza you'll ever eat in your life, but it's definitely very good. Considering the consistent pizzas, the fast, hyper-friendly service, and convenience to the chaco hotel, I will definitely return.

Google
The best pizza I have had in 10 years. Thin but chewy handmade, wood fired crust, high end toppings, hot honey, fresh basil and they offer a Thai spicy pizza that did not disappoint in its perfect spice level. This is going to be our main pizza place from now on.

Google
These dudes have got it locked down, great pizza and salads! Customer service is well done. Pizza menus are great and imaginative while you can still customize your own. The Little Italy salad with prosciutto and burrata mozzarella it huge.

Google
BYO pizza with vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni! They also have a pre-selected vegetarian/vegan pizza. The wood fired crust was the best part, so honestly cheese or not, who cares! I did a BYO with vegan ‘roni, spinach, black olives, roasted red peppers and light vegan cheese. The service was super friendly and accommodating!

Yelp
Loving this little pizza spot in Sawhill Market, which made my day a little more delicious. I was staying across the street at the Chaco and when I saw there's vegan pizza available steps away, I was sold. The guy at the counter was so friendly and apologized that the pizza may take more time than usual (not that I have any idea on that, heh) because they'd just gotten a huge order for a dozen pies. It was no big deal at all and worth the wait. The vegan pie as is comes with a lot of really good toppings: black olives, artichoke hearts, tomatoes and just the right amount (that is, not overloaded) of thin red onion slices and diced bell pepper. Great sauce, too! I added vegan cheese for ($4 or $5). It was a very tiny amount and not spread out evenly so that it would get that crispiness that you want (most vegan cheese is gloppy if it's not spread out). The crust is tasty... the edges of my pizza were a little too burnt with the toppings/sauce all concentrated in the middle. It wasn't perfect but it was super tasty and I'd definitely go back thanks to the excellent customer service and a good vegan option.

Yelp
Hawt Pizza Co. located in Sawmill Market at Old Town Albuquerque NM. There is space for parking on the street and both sides of the Market but it does get busy and 7pm on a Friday night, we drove around a bit until someone was leaving. There was prime parking for pick up orders. Once inside it was beautiful. I loved all the different concepts, designs, variety of cuisines, boozy drinks, seating, and desserts. Very fun place. There is literally something for everyone. I would probably consider the food to be a bit spendy (I know it's not really a word but it works) but worth it in my opinion. The awesome thing about this place is that even though they were busy, we didn't really wait to order. We chose the NM white because we wanted to still with NM hatch chile specialty. They gave a little beeper and we waited. The pizza came out fairly fast. I do have to mention that I love they are woman owned and the design of the place is very cool. Our pizza came out HOT! I mean I went to pick it up and couldn't hold my first slice. I had to be patient. So hard since the pizza looked like perfection. Alfredo can be a bit too heavy for me but this was done so nicely and somehow was a light flavor. The cheese pull from the mozzarella was fabulous. You could taste every bit of the garlic and feta. The hatch chile was a beautiful compliment to the Alfredo and mozzarella and not spicy at all. I wish I had a bit more of the basil and I could have done without the chicken but it was delicious. That is absolutely just personal taste. My husband liked the pizza but didn't really like the soot from the wood fired oven on the bottom of the crust or on the top of our pizza. If you zoom in to my photo, you can see it was quite a bit. It didn't bother me and my son though. We ate it and loved it. The dough was delicious. It was a thin crust with nice airy pockets and the crust on the edge was boast worthy with the crunch on the outside and slightly chewy center. Yum! Loved the pizza, love the atmosphere, loved it all.

Yelp
We got the Italian Salad with arugula, cherry tomatoes, prosciutto, salami, artichoke hearts and Buratta cheese. There was a little tub of reduced balsamic dressing. It comes in a cute tub with wooden disposable forks. They have a tasty lavender sweet tea too. You sit in the common are that is shared by other guests at the Saw Mill Market. The service was adequate. The salad was 95% arugula and could have had a bit more of the added ingredients for hefty price.

Yelp
Big fan! I love some wood oven pizza. I ordered the Daydrinker Pizza. It comes at $20.00 - only one size to choose from which is the 12" size. The Daydrinker comes with the following: Bianco Di Napoli® organic pomodoro, Grande® brand all-natural mozzarella, Boar's Head® hot coppa & soppressata, EZZO® pepperoni, HAWT's house made meatballs (made with Dr. Fieldgood's NM raised beef/pork), red onion, fresh basil. I really enjoyed the crispy crust, melted cheese and fresh element of the chopped basil.

Yelp
This is more in reference to the park square market location in uptown. Pizza is amazing and flavorful. You can tell some care goes into this product. Amazingly impressed and will be coming back. Also the basil ranch is really good.
google avatar

Deb S.

Yelp
Great pizza. Just really great pizza. Good flavor, easy access at Sawmill Market, and friendly service. We had the straight up pepperoni classic, why not?? It was fresh, hot, tasty, and just what we needed after filling up on beer through out the downtown Albuquerque area. We stayed across the street at Hotel Chaco and brought the pizza right to our room. Loved it!!
google avatar

Kathy B.

Yelp
Great pizza located at Sawmill. Me and my sister had a pineapple and ham pizza, The pizza is wood fired and was delicious! We also had the Caesar salad which consisted of very crisp fresh lettuce, delicious parmesan cheese and the best Caesar salad dressing I have ever had. The service was great very friendly and fast. Ambience of Sawmill Market is trendy with a wide variety of eateries and plenty of seating inside and out!

Yelp
- delicious pizza - came recommended by all the sawmill staff - 30 minute turnover - nice staff - can feed 2-3 people - dont forget the hot honey - I didn't purchase the dip

Yelp
Unique pizza combos.... Fresh ingredients. Just right crust. All around good. Ordered delivery.... Few glitches in that but that doesn't impact food!

Yelp
Picked up the carnívoro calzone and NM white pizza the other day. Although charred pizza is still not too much of my style, especially as it sticks to my lips. But it was still pretty good. Loved the green chile, it wasn't overpowering. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Yelp
This pizza place caught my eye while my husband and I were browsing options at Sawmill Market. We shared the Lobo pizza. It looked so good, but I was disappointed by it. The crust was not good and there wasn't much sauce. With lots of other options to choose from at the market, I wouldn't rush to come back here.

Yelp
I found Hawt Pizza by looking at yelps reviews. So many 4s and 5s. My complaints are that 1-they are inside the Sawmill Market, but they don't say a lick about it so my pizza was cold by the time I found them. #2- my 12 inch pizza cost $30. I dont mind paying for something spectacular. This was not that. The crust was very burned all the way around. I love the crust. I ordered their basil ranch dressing to dip it in. It was completely inedible. Sad All the toppings were hard to bite into because of them being dried out and hard. Ok, positives- service was stellar. 5 stars - on the order, I asked for "not very much spice" and in the past with other restaurants, they don't care. They just make it like they always do. Not Hawt. He proceeded to tell me exactly what he did to back off on some of heat. I was impressed. If your pizza was better I would get my pizza from you all the time
google avatar

Jan F.

Yelp
Great pizza at a reasonable price. We have tried a couple different pizzas and find them all delicious. However, we keep going back for the traditional cheese pizza. So yummy!! The people are always friendly. It's inside Saw Mill. Check it out.

Yelp
Are you ready for your tastebuds to throw a party!?! If you are, come check out Hawt Pizza!! Not only does their food taste incredible, their staff is beyond gracious to take your order. I haven't had such amazing pizza in a very long time. If I'd have to guess, I think there's a little Italian grandma who comes in at 3 o'clock in the morning to make their sauce. GRATZI for the incredible pizza!

Yelp
After seeing the pictures of these pizzas I was really excited to give it a try but was pretty let down by the overall flavor. I was under the impression that this was going to be a classic, Neapolitan pizza but it was definitely more of your average American thin crust pizza. I was hoping for a fresh simple tomato sauce but this was more a thick tomato paste like sauce. The cheese and pepperonis were good but the dough was mediocre at best. It also took a really long time to get the pizza and I was the only one in line when I ordered so I can imagine how long this pizza would take if there are several people in line. There were much better places at sawmill that I would check out before this spot.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night while Sawmill was poppin'. We ordered a pepperoni pizza with pineapple and 2 of the lavender lemonades (for a total of $25). The order came out in less than 10 minutes. Pizza was a little thin, as it had trouble supporting some of the toppings, but had a good wood-fired flavor to it. The lemonades had a good flavor as well. Pizza was just the right size to split and the pepperonis were crisp, but a little greasy. 2023 #6

Yelp
Awful customer service. Their website does not show that pick up is only for the ABQ location, and we mistakenly ordered there. Get to the Santa Fe location, bar tender apologizes and tells us it's an ONGOING ISSUE and lots of people have problems with it, but Hawt Pizza's own employee says there's nothing they can do and refused to even give us a refund out of courtesy. Pizza looks fine, but come on guys -- how hard is it to refund customers for your own misleading website?

Shelia K.

Yelp
My first time at The Sawmill that had so many choices, but the pizza sounded good, so that's was the winner!! And WINNER it was, absolutely delicious. We ordered the NM White Pizza... and omg... can I say YUM!! It was hot, perfectly crispy, and the perfect combination of toppings. I was a lil worried about garlic and green chile but they clearly know what they are doing!! Now I'm just waiting for a Hawt in the SF Bay Area!!
google avatar

Destiny L.

Yelp
Five stars right off the bat just because this is the first place I had mikes hot honey on a pizza and that's been such a game changer. When it comes to pizza, there is no need to reinvent the wheel but I will take all the Mike's Hot Honey because yum. If you're looking for a very thin crust pizza with fresh toppings, this is a great spot. It's a little on the pricy side for Albuquerque but Sawmill in general is definitely more expensive than prices you'll find in other parts of town. I paid just under $20 pre-tip for a pizza and a drink but still had at least half a pizza that I ended up taking home. The drink selection is awesome, I absolutely loved my basil mint iced tea. It was so refreshing and it makes me wish summer never ended but hello fall I guess!
google avatar

Samie G.

Yelp
Worse service ever!! Got pizza and when it asked to tip I meant to put 18% and hit the no tip was going to get something else to add a tip but the lady then was rude. Got my pizza and was all burnt. This is also a place that you go back and get your food once ready.
google avatar

Yelp
This pizza that you see in the picture has surpassed my expectations in the world of pizza! Mind blown.... I have a new favorite pizza place! The dough melts in your mouth and the chewy texture is perfectly balanced with the charred dough!! After consuming this piece of art, my stomach didn't feel the usual bloat from the massive carbohydrate consumption.... that crust is magical folks! Now the toppings on this bad boy, spicy meats and homemade red sauce, but wait there's more.... honey drizzle!!! What the hell is going on here??!! Yes my friends, the combination of spicy and the hint of sweet, melt in your mouth like a flavor bomb!!!! I will speak highly of this place!! 10/10

Yelp
Great thin-crust pizza! Wood fire smoke leaves a fantastic impression in the atmosphere here at the Sawmill Market. We have tried several of the food vendors and this is definitely one of our favorites! We shall return! BTW, the serving size of their pizza is absolutely perfect for the two of us!

Jr. J.

Yelp
Great food and service.Pizza was nice.Location is okay and close to sawmill market.Pricing is reasonable too.

Yelp
Came in and ordered this time. Lavender Lemonade - 4/5 Not all that strong on the lavender flavor, but still tasty. Basil Mint Ice Tea - 4/5 Similarly, not that strong on the basil, but still tasty. NM White - 3/5 Advertised as containing "hot green chile," but what's on there is canned and tasteless when cooked. Zero heat. Toppings overall were pretty thin, but the cheese was good. Would have enjoyed this more if the crust wasn't so burned. Very thin, and not very filling either. Get your drinks here, but skip the pizza.

Yelp
As someone who periodically visits Albuquerque, Hawt Pizza at Sawmill Market is always on my list of places to grab some food. (Well, Sawmill in general but this isn't about that). It's a woman owned, wood fire pizza place and the pies never disappoint! This particular visit we went with a classic pepperoni, you can never go wrong with classic pepperoni! And also the Truffle Shuffle, an amazing concoction of flavors: garlic, mozz, feta, whipped ricotta, mushrooms, feta, rosemary, truffle oil and basil. Oh goodness, it was good. There are seriously so many cool pizzas on the menu, many paying homage to New Mexico's iconic Hatch chiles, that I feel like I can go multiple times and have something new every visit! Plus they've got this lavender lemonade that is perfectly crisp and refreshing! Get there!

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this pizza ever since the Sawmill Market opened back up. Every time I went, I'd see people ordering the pizza and it looked so delicious! So tonight I figured would be the night I finally try it! I ordered online from my table. After placing my order I received a text confirmation that my order had been received. I assumed that I would get another text letting me know when my order would be ready. That may have been my fault for assuming. After 30 minutes I went to check on my order and it had been ready, I just wasn't notified. It wasn't as hot as I would've liked it, probably from sitting out. However, the pizza was still delicious and their truffle ranch was great! The reason why I knocked off two stars was because the pizza was pretty pricey and the size of the pizza was not very big. It was a delicious pizza, but not for that price.

Yelp
So frustrated, I ordered a cheese pizza and 2 drinks and gave the team a 20% tip on the order. When the pizza was ready I told them I needed an extra side of jalapeños, they said it will cost a $1.00. So I pulled out my credit card and they said we can't take credit card right now we are switch shifts only cash, I didn't have cash on me, they'd said well we can't give you a side of jalapeños otherwise we have to pay for it ourselves. I tried to get any sort of change together and only came up with .40 cents from the bottom of my purse and they still said no can do . I said I have my card that's what I paid for originally but they said no we can't use it. Terrible service

Jennifer M.

Yelp
My first two Hawt pizzas were incredible. They had ample toppings and the crust was amazing. They were gluten-free and vegan and actually crave worthy. Today was a sad day. I ordered the same pizza and was so disappointed. I was mostly a dry crust with hardly half the toppings. Normally it is filling and so delicious. This pizza felt like it was the last one of the day and they ran out of toppings. Too bad I tipped before getting the pizza. I won't be back. I had to go home and eat dinner again. All the left over crust went in the trash, so it was a waste.

Seth B.

Yelp
Amazing artisan wood fired deliciousness! Top tier, non GMO ingredients. Try the craft drinks and incredible salads too!
google avatar

Justin I.

Yelp
Great pizza, just the right amount of dough and toasted just right. Staff was friendly and I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.
google avatar

Fiana S.

Yelp
This is my favorite pizza in Albuquerque. Wood fired and delicious, with many less common toppings for making excellent combinations. I love the hot honey drizzle. There are also quality salads with good ingredients that are nice and fresh. Located inside Sawmill Market. You can order ahead for pickup and delivery too.

Chris H.

Yelp
My second review on your pizza , I thought you guys had some of the best Neapolitan pizza in the city ! I have wrote one bad review about your pizza with no reply now I am writing my second review. You guys trust your employees way to much , I would expect when placing a order no chicken and sausage instead of chicken and your guy up front writes it down on the ticket that your cooks should follow through with the correct order but instead I get no sausage and no chicken pisses me off ! This is the second time this has happened to me and your pizza is not a cheap pizza you certainly charge a good price for your pizza ! Not only that I never get a reply from your owners maybe I should try Amore pizza again since I thought your pizza was better. PS I never get a reply from your owners apparently you guys don't care !

Deborah S.

Yelp
Great pizza! Service however is the worst! First the person taking orders at the counter is so slow and can't seem to be able to handle his job. Loooong line of people wanting to order, but he has to make the salads as well as take orders. That right there is extremely unsanitary! You do not have a person handling food and money! That's just disgusting. And... while the young guy at the counter is struggling to make a salad he can't help customers at the counter. However, there were five employees standing around doing nothing but watch the young guy struggle. Bad service all around!
google avatar

Yelp
You know those places that are just solid? They don't blow your mind enough that you rave about it later, but every time you see it, that's what you end up getting? And you order the same thing every time because it hits the spot and it is always reliably exactly what you wanted? That is Hawt Pizza for us. Our order is a margherita pizza and a house salad. The dressing on the salad is my favorite and it's the perfect meal for two. It doesn't hurt either that Hawt Pizza can get people through their line and fed maybe faster than any of the other spots at Sawmill. Great quick food? Always a solid choice.
google avatar

Sara L.

Yelp
Yesterday's pizza lunch was delish! (After needing to reheat it a bit since it arrived cold - hence the 4 stars.) Spinach, goat cheese, pine nuts on top of mozzarella on a solid but soft thin crust. Decent size for two. And contactless delivery.
google avatar

Amy W.

Yelp
Wildly delicious!!! Amazing to find oneself on the outer edges of Albuquerque (at the fab Sandia Peak Inn) and have what turned out to be THE BEST PIZZA EVER delivered to our room. We had the Artichokes on Parade Pizza (perfect bubbly crust - crisp outside, tender and chewy inside - lemony cheesy tang and melt-in-your mouth artichoke hearts) and the Bee Sting Pizza (the same divine crust and "pomodoro, fior, soppressata, Mike's Hot Honey, chile flake, basil" - a delightful study in contrasts of mellow tomato-basil goodness, thinly sliced pepperoni-esque rounds and sweet honey with a super spicy kick!). The house salad was well-chilled and gorgeous - simple - a generous portion of dark green lettuce that tasted farm fresh - tender - a bit like butter lettuce - with cherry tomato halves, chopped cucumber, the perfect amount of shredded cheese (provolone?) - and an absolutely on-point house vinegarette. Honestly it was a memorable meal - would not have changed a thing!!! The restaurant is listed as a woman-owned operation - noting that here because I thought that was very cool. Thanks Hawt Pizza!!!
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
Looking for a place to eat in a revisit to the Sawmill. Not knowing what we were hungry for we settled on pizza. Hawt pizza is wood fired (always a bonus) and has specialty pizzas and if you want to build your own there's a nice selection of toppings. We selected the porky pine - capicola, pineapple, pickled seeet jalapeños and LOTS of pepperoni. It was delicious and worthy of a return visit - even if it's a to go order.
google avatar

Andrea W.

Yelp
Inside Sawmill, I came here on a weekday evening, nobody in line. Got the Lobo, came out pretty quickly. Middle was soggy, top was really oily, didn't like it too much, fresh mozz wasn't spread out enough as some slices had it and some didn't. $18 post-tax is also a bit pricey for the quality.
google avatar

Lucky C.

Yelp
I had their Vegan pizza and it was delicious !! I like that it comes with NO Vegan Cheese. Very tasty!
google avatar

Ashley M.

Yelp
Ordered pizza online and picked up; fyi, there's an automatic 15% gratuity added. Arrived there slightly early (it's to the right when you walk in the market) and picked up pizza when it was ready. Pizza was barely warm. Artichokes tasted right out of the can (not marinated) and were cold. The lemon crema was very good, but not a consistent amount throughout the slices. The crust was very good! Light, airy, crispy. But, had it not been for the crema, there wasn't much flavor. Pizza was also about 12 inches and $18 before tax and gratuity. Unless they were having a great deal, likely wouldn't go back again.
google avatar

Caroline S.

Yelp
I got a text message at 6:18 that the pizza was done. It arrived at 6:53, which was within the delivery estimate, that's nearly 40 minutes after it was done and it is freezing cold. In my opinion that is no longer fresh pizza. The delivery person just had it sitting on the seat apparently? I didn't see him taking it out of a warming bag.... Do you not have heat lamps or anything either to keep things warm until delivery? & the extra basil I added to the mushroom and cheese is not even fresh. As far as I can tell it is dried out of a shaker. Thanks, but I could have just added that at home myself. So disappointing.
google avatar

Aaron S.

Yelp
Really great pie when they are on, but just okay when they're not. I ordered here 4 or 5 times and the pizza quality was just too inconsistent. A couple times it just wasn't quite cooked long enough. They have a great operation going at sawmill market and advertise the charring on top of the pizza but I've been surprised that my pies have come out just not quite cooked enough. That said, when it's in it is on! Lots of great options for pies, very tasty, and quality ingredients and process.
google avatar

Brian S.

Yelp
This is a great place. I love how salty the pepperoni is. Just makes you want to eat more. Great crust and chew to the dough. This is a solid pizza choice.
google avatar

Nina T.

Yelp
This place is located within the Sawmill Market. Plenty of parking spaces and there are pick up only spaces. We ordered a house salad and a pepperoni pizza which was delicious and enough for 2 people to share. So much goodness. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Daniel H.

Yelp
By far my favorite of all the stalls here at the food hall, and that's saying a lot. Cool look, friendly staff and most importantly delicious food!
google avatar

Alyssa O.

Yelp
Friday night date night with my wife! Picked up pizza from Hawt and it's amazingly delicious! We ordered the OG and Artichoke on Parade. Each pizza had 8 slices. The flavors are so well balanced and complement each other very well. The Artichokes on Parade was a surprise summer taste, soooo delicious and exciting taste!

Yelp
My husband & I hired Hawt Pizza to cater at our daughter's wedding. When we were deciding on a caterer Felicia was completely pleasant....little did we know. The good food was overshadowed by Felicia Meyer's (owner and main server at the wedding) NASTY attitude. Felicia was rude to my husband before the ceremony even started. As I went through the line she was short and snippy with me.I couldn't believe it!! We had just ordered and paid for $5,300 in pizza and she couldn't even be polite to her clients??!! Felicia was terribly unprofessional--no amount of pressure excuses her behavior. The next day, we came to find out that she treated many of our guests poorly too . As you can imagine my husband and I were completely disheartened. And we couldn't say anything that night as we didn't want to cause a scene at our daughter's wedding. We only have one daughter and as many of you parents know this is a one in a lifetime event. Yes, the pizza was good but I would NEVER wish our experience on any family. We are absolutely sick that we, our friends, and family were treated with such disrespect on what was supposed to be one the best nights of our lives.

Jeffrey G.

Yelp
I really wanted to try out their pizza, but the online app was not working and when I called the store I was told, "None of us have used it." So, when I asked if there was anything they could do to help me order I was told, "No." Not a great experience.

Yelp
First time visiting here within Sawmill Market. Greeted by friendly staff and the pizza was made fresh. Tried their pepperoni pizza and it was pretty good. Thin crust is definitely the best. The only downfall I'd have to say is that it was a little on the pricey side. I thought the pizza would be a little bigger for the price. They do offer a lot more menu items like calzones and salads.
