We visited for Sunday brunch. We arrived early so there was no wait but shortly thereafter it picked up. Customer service from both the hostess and waitress was friendly and welcoming. Food was good. No complaints. We ordered the French toast, chicken & waffles and the biscuits and chicken gravy with a side of grits. Delicious! Drinks were mimosas and Moscow mule, made just right, not too heavy and definitely not light. Enjoyed the visit. Next time we'll do the rooftop.

Solid Chesapeake Benedict. The bartender on the top floor (whose name I didn't catch and I feel awful) was awesome and super friendly. She made some fantastic cocktails but I hope the bar gets her some more diverse ingredients. Overall great brunch!

I hosted my 2022 graduation party at the Hawthorne and I couldn't be happier! I booked the Sky Lounge which is so pretty. The booking process was so easy. I filled out the interest form online and they got back to me right away. They have a variety of alcohol specials for your event - wine/beer only, rail liquor/wine/beer etc. It definitely helps with keeping things under budget. There are limited food options and it's served buffet style. The Cheeseburger Sliders and flatbread were great. Don't recommend the quesadilla at all. Day of, everything was ready on time and the bartender for the event was wonderful! He really took great care of everyone and was very friendly! We all had a great time and I definitely recommend boking the sky lounge for your next event (warning: the lounge is not handicap accessible and it's up 4 flights of stairs.)

The food was okay, a tad bit to salty. I ordered the chicken tenders with waffle fries. I also had bottomless mimosas as my beverage. Their rooftop spot was cute.. service could’ve been better.

Hosted my birthday here and it was a great experience! I worked with their events manager a month or so ahead of time and she was very accommodating to all my requests and questions. She confirmed the week of and was very responsive the whole time! When we got there (a little late) my other guests had already been directed to the area without any issues. It was free to reserve the space and all my guests got wristbands for some drink specials. We got the area from 8pm-11pm before it opened up to the public, and the roped off area was perfect for the size of my group (30-40 people). The bartender was quick and no one in my group waited too long for drinks! Thanks again for hosting my party everyone had a great time!

I’ve visited Hawthorne for brunch on a Sunday in the past and it was a totally different vibe. There was a DJ, the energy was hype, the place was packed. This past Sunday was a totally different experience. The place was still full but no DJ, chill music, laid back vibe. I ordered the chicken fingers and asked if they could be tossed in buffalo sauce. I was at a table of 6. When the food arrived my chicken tenders were luke warm. I figured they had been out waiting for everyone’s else’s food to get done. I asked if they could be heated up in the microwave. When the waiter brought the plate back it was the exact same. Nothing had changed. I did like our waiter, he was very accommodation. But my food not being warmed up was unacceptable. I was going to ask him to just drop a new batch of tenders but everyone was halfway done with their meals so I didn’t eat. Only giving it 3 stars because everyone else enjoyed their meals.
