I’ve been going to their sister company (Nectarine Grove) for years and Healthy Creations is just as good! As someone who has a “sensitive” system, being able to find gluten / dairy / processed sugar free foods is tough, but here, it’s a breeze! And they’re just SO tasty. The staff is always sweet and helpful.

Healthy Creations Cafe is a fantastic spot that truly caters to everyone. I enjoyed the Vegan BLT on ciabatta bread—it was fresh, good texture, and filling. The setup is quick and convenient; you order and pay at a small counter, and they provide small touches like self-serve cold water and metal utensils. There's a small seating area inside and some covered seating available outside. The menu diversity is a plus, offering great options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans alike. While the free parking lot can get busy, it's worth finding a spot. Highly recommend stopping by for a delicious, healthy meal when you’re in the area.

Hands down best GF vegan BLTA I’ve ever had. Love that everything is 100% gluten free and so many vegan options too. My favorite go to in town.

We absolutely love this place for everything from breakfast to lunch to snacks to early dinner. Plus, their coffee and specialty drinks are fabulous. We also buy their frozen chicken tenders to cook at home. Huge hit! Finally, their seasonal holiday meals ordered to go are fantastic too. This is one of our very favorite restaurants! We love the staff too - so kind, helpful, and friendly! I have celiac, and I love being able to order anything on the menu without a worry about gluten or cross-contamination. My Mom has celiac too. When she comes in town, she wants to eat every meal here or at their sister restaurants Nectarine Grove. We highly recommend Healthy Creations Cafe + Nectarine Grove for healthy, delicious food and drinks!

We’ve been coming to healthy creations for almost 10 years straight and absolutely love the vibe, the warmth of the people who work here, and the quality of the food. I have celiac and my son is also gluten-free. We so appreciate how delicious the food is and how accommodating everybody is. We’re always greeted with a smile! Highly recommend.

Dang… I absolutely love this place! The customer service is top-notch, and the food is hands down the BEST. Chris is the sweetest—such a great personality that makes the whole experience even better. This spot has the perfect vibe to relax, hang out, and enjoy some seriously fresh, delicious food. Can’t recommend it enough!

This place is a hidden gem of healthy and delicious food!! I wanted to check this place out because I heard great things about the food and it delivered. THE FOOD: I ordered the Twisted Reuben sandwich (pastrami but not greasy at all) and also a cranberry goat cheese salad that had extremely delightful thinly sliced pears and candied walnuts! I didn’t even use any dressing because everything was so fresh and tasty! So so good. I wanted to try every thing on the menu. THE DRINKS: To top it off, I tried the ginger bone broth (hot) and it just hit the spot! Also tried the chocolate cinnamon cold drink thing (I forgot what it was called), but it had a bunch of healthy good stuff in it and it was perfect. I’m definitely a fan! THE LOCATION: It’s situated in an unassuming small plaza (I think there’s a swimming pool goods shop & random stores) directly adjacent to a home boutique store. OVERALL: It’s absolutely worth coming here if you’re into healthy food that’s good for your body and tastes good too! Highly recommend if you like organic food, in need of gluten free bread and dislike preservatives and or have any gluten or food allergy sensitivities.

This place is so cute and cozy! I loved the suggestions I got from the cashier and everything was delicious. I think the beef there is grass fed and the pastrami sandwich was chefs kiss. I love the water selection from mountain valley to the sparkling Idaho water. They also have delicious beef sticks and use redmonds real salt. The place also has a small outdoor eating area for people to go sit at.

An incredible cafe!! I came back and tried the Roasted Mediterranean Chicken, it was delicious and packed with flavor! I also grabbed a Raspberry Bar on the side, which paired perfectly. The staff were super welcoming and friendly! Can't wait to come back and try more!

Met up with my girlfriend here for lunch and I got the paleo protein plate. It was delicious, but the eggs needed a little seasoning. Nothing a little salt and pepper I added in myself, couldn't fix. It was a nice meal to have after my lagree class. Everyone was really friendly and I love how bright, clean, and breezy the place was. Definitely a stop I'll be making again.

I'm so glad to have discovered this Gluten Free cafe so close to where I live in South Carlsbad. It's a pleasure to buy delicious GF food without needing to worry it might contain traces of gluten. For a person with Celiac Disease, it makes "eating out" much more enjoyable!

Came at 11am on a Thursday and waited about 20-30 minutes to get a sandwich, after ordering with 3 people ahead of me. This place caters to a gf/vegan audience so it's a little costly. I've been twice and each time the food I've gotten has been filling. The California sandwich had so much chicken I could barely take a proper bite, which made for a messy experience. Last time I got a latte it wasn't anything special to note. Inside it's a little chilly with how hard the AC is blasting, and outside the seating is way too hot in the sun even with their umbrellas.

I ordered my quiche to go and asked it to be heated so I can eat it in the car (mom on the go) while in the pick up line. It was half warm half cold. Already not great. But the quiche itself was watery and the crust very mediocre. On top of the mid food, I told the cashier that the sign says $7 and I was charged $7.35 (not the tax). I don't care about the 35 cents but they shouldn't charge more than what it's advertised. She's like "I don't know what to tell you" then informs the manager (I presume) who proceeds to say "that's weird, I guess I'll have to change it on the sign." Girl, how about we start with charging me the correct price? I didn't say anything more because honestly 35 cents, but the staff here is the opposite of welcoming. Not sure what the hype is about this place. There are plenty of other healthy places to eat with better food and better atmosphere.

Easily one of the best kept secrets in Encinitas! Gluten free AND delicious! The food is phenomenal, the staff is friendly, hospitable and super helpful. They also have great coffee drinks and smoothies! 10/10 would highly recommend

This is my second visit. I forget this place is here but when I go I am so happy with the food. They have a very cool menu with lots of choices including breakfast all day. For this visit I had the vegan Reuben. It was so yummy! It came with large side salad of mixed lettuce with a tasty dressing. For dessert I had the raspberry bar and it was delish! I split it with my friend and wish I had gotten a whole one for myself. The prices are reasonable, the food is healthy and tasty and the desserts look decadent but are on the healthier side. My friend and I agreed we are going to return for lunch everytime we want to go out to lunch together. I look forward to my next visit!

Stopped in this afternoon after work. I was so excited to try this place. I only work in this area once every couple of months so even being tired, missing the turn, driving another 13 miles towards home (almost 40 miles away) I decided to turn around and go back. I honestly can't remember if I was greeted. Smile seemed almost forced. I expressed to the young lady helping me that it was my first time there and if there were any recommendations ie house specialties...no answer. Ok, I still tried to inquire and engage conversation about the drinks. No input. Ok... I ordered a summer drink (guava, Matcha, coconut cream iced latté) for the ride home and the Butter latté for tomorrow morning & a couple desserts. The summer drink just tasted like guava mixed with milk & a lot of ice. So bummed When I got home, I decided to open up the lid on the butter latte to smell and lightly sip. Tasted...better than the summer drink (Which surprised me because I love guava) but why was it only filled less than 3/4 of the way? I think I paid for a full drink. Opened the box with desserts....one of the desserts (Maple Bar) had cream on top. One would think that the best way to put it in the box would be where the cream would be on the side and not get smashed on the lid. Maybe I'm just asking for too much. But seriously y'all, I'm really not picky. I'm actually very happy with a yummy filled to top drink & un-smashed dessert. Just what I paid for. Nothing more nothing less. Either way, I wish this business all God's blessings.

Healthy Creations seems to have replaced their staff with excellent, communicative staff. They are always very friendly and helpful now. To the manager who made the changes - thank you. Your establishment feels friendly and accommodating again, and that makes a huge difference to this long time customer. Big shout out to Chris, who has gone out of his way to be helpful.

Oh my goddess, this place is nectarine grove but even better than all the other locations! The owner here is so sweet and brought our drinks to us instead of leaving it on the counter and calling our names. The little things Their matcha here is noticeably better too, hotter, tastier and some how more flavorful. I've had a couple times at the other places where I had to have them remake it because it was too cold or flavor was bland. I ordered their Mediterranean panini and that was bomb! My gym is near here so this is where I go to post workout. Highly recommend!

Very mellow spot. Reggae playing in the background. English muffins and breads for sale on the middle table. Some intriguing baked items in the displays. Grabbed a mint chip smoothie and a powerhouse smoothie with cashew milk (made fresh in house) with peanut butter, peanut butter GF brownie and a paleo chocolate chip cookie. $32. The brownie is decent. The mint smoothie is slightly better than the powerhouse, but neither has enough prominent flavors in it for me. The powerhouse could use more peanut butter in it, tastes bland to me. Just a slight hint of banana, but even that isn't very strong in the powerhouse. Both drinks makes me wanting something else and wishing for a Smoothie King around here. The chocolate chip cookie isn't too bad. A bit dry, but not hard at least.

Thank you to the owner for reaching out and allowing me to try another dish from them. I decided to get the Roasted Mediterranean Chicken Panini this time around. This was definitely my favorite dish that I've had from here, but I still didn't think it was anything amazing. I loved how they didn't skimp on the peppers at all. I would love it if their pesto recipe was something special because that definitely would enhance any dish they use it on. My overall rating would be 3.5, but I'm rounding up because everything has always been 100% fresh from here even if I didn't love the overall flavor.

I've been here multiple times and they never disappoint! I wish I had taken more pictures of the things I've gotten.. Their service is impeccable. It's been consistent and everyone I've come across is so helpful. Today I got their breakfast egg sandwich with bacon and extra garlic aioli. Soooo good. And the English muffin it was on was home made!! I've also gotten their Mediterranean chicken sandwich, which is also really good and flavorful. Coffee wise, I've had their mammoth mocha and the chagachinno cold. Both are excellent options! They have wifi and it's a clean place. A great area to do some work, eat good food, drink excellent coffee, and just experience the good vibes all around. This place never disappoints. This is definitely my go to spot.

Absolutely fantastic food! Had one of their quiches (artichoke and goat cheese) and a side salad. My husband had the roasted veggie power bowl. Everything was perfect! Wish we had one of these up in Orange County! This place is the bomb!

The BEST matcha latte in all of North County :) This place has the best GF, organic and clean and delicious food options. I am obsessed with the Paleo quiche but I will get my matcha here over anywhere else locally anytime! Also very friendly and amazing team members.

I've always wanted to try HC and soooo glad I finally did! I had a gluten free cinnamon roll and peppermint tea. Their staff was so kind and patient as I read all of the ingredients to select my treat as I have several food sensitivities. He heated it up and topped it with icing for me. Best cinnamon roll I ever had! There are so many other bakery items and menu items I look forward to trying.

Literally the best food ever and the fact that it is gluten free just makes it even better! The egg tacos are amazing and also the pesto veggie hot sandwich with the focaccia bread is THE BEST! Outstanding Gluten Free food, lots of vegan options to combine too! The sandwiches are delicious, and the desserts too! A go-to eatery for anyone eating gluten free and or vegan!

Paid extra for hummus on my wrap and they forgot to add it. Made me concerned if I even got the grain free tortilla that I also requested. Too expensive for what it's worth- a tortilla, spring mix, sprouts, hummus (that I didn't get), a couple slices of avocado, and plain turkey for $20 exactly. At least put an equal amount of turkey and greens if it's going to cost that much.

Considering this is a dedicated gluten free shop and one with clear top allergen signs I would think they would be a safe place. I can't have nuts or seeds. I ordered a tuna wrap and the employee was very helpful with making sure the wrap was safe for me. Considering I told him how important it is for me not to have nuts or seeds, when I asked him about the side salad dressing he seems very sure that it is safe. After eating it I notice spots and knew it was mustard- mustard is a seed. I very much understand how this can be missed although he should have looked at the ingredients when he saw how severe this is for me. When I talked to him about it all he said "maybe you should be more safe and ask for ingredients list" super rude and totally threw me off. The warps it self was so plain. Better off going to Nectarine a few miles away

Coming here was amazing, the service and the ambiance is heavenly! I absolutely love their outdoor seating with the breeze being close to the beach and just enjoy great food with the sunshine. The staff is incredibly friendly and has great recommendations. This was my first time here and definitely not my last, I had the breakfast tacos and they are to die for! As someone who feels like I miss a lot with celiac disease I didn't today! With egg, turkey sausage, potato and guac these tacos packed the ultimate punch of flavor. They had two sauces on the side I feel like one was more of a pico and the other was like a chipotle mayo but with a delicious kick. You definitely have to try them and I paired the tacos with the PB&J smoothie and oh boy did it bring back memories of the sandwiches I loved as a child. I got mine with oat milk and it was by far the best I've ever had and I loved it!! This place is my new favorite and if I only lived closer I'd be here every day!

Yummy food, fast service, and friendly staff! I usually get the Roasted Mediterranean Chicken panini and I've never been disappointed. I recently tried the seasonal Guava Matcha Cold Creme - it's thick, creamy, a little sweet, and a tiny bit tart. It definitely tastes more guava-y than matcha-y but I still really enjoyed it.

So delicious! I will definitely come back. Everything was so tasty! I had a wonderful sandwich and pecan bar.

Food was very good. Ambiance is nice. Inviting to the locals. Lovely staff. Nice selection of coffees teas and beverages I witnessed other people orders and all were quite impressive from breakfast to lunch menus. Will return--definitely.

I found this place while looking for a healthy food restaurant after a visit to the Botanic garden in Encinitas with a friend. She's very health conscious so I gladly obliged. After reading reviews here and checking out their menu online, I had to stop in here. Needless to say, after our initial visit, we became repeat "eaters" and fans. :} This cafe became our go-to place after visiting the Botanic garden. For our first visit ( not pictured here, the pictures were from our 2nd visit ) My friend ordered Power bowls with roasted veggies. It was very powerful indeed. Not only it tastes good but also looks like a food magazine middle fold page. Highly recommend. I ordered Capress salad, probably one of the best salads I have ever had. It has spring mix, spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella, and avocado. The portion was huge. If you are in the area and into healthy eats, give this hidden gem a try. Cheers!

Great Gluten free bread!! So excited to have found this gem. They have amazing focaccia bread and the sandwiches are so delicious. It has become my go to for a great gluten free sandwich. The service was really great and the prices are reasonable. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

I've loved the food at Healthy Creations for years now. The last few times that I ate here the food was so disappointing and expensive. It's my understanding that the same owner operates Nectarine Grove, but different menu and ambiance. I hope they work on their menu but for now, I'll choose Nectarine Grove.

Amazing quality! the bluey drink is a MUST! kinda pricey for a smoothie but it was hands down the best smoothie ive ever tried. I also ordered a roasted veggie salad with chicken pesto and you can really taste how fresh and high quality the ingredients are. I cant wait to go back!

Really loved stumbling upon this place. Was searching for a healthy lunch spot, I ordered their panini on their focaccia (melts in your mouth) and subbed for their house made cashew mozzarella and vegan pesto. The side salad was drenched in dressing, but it was good and made as a nice dipping sauce for the end of the crusty ends of my sandwich after the meal. I wish their baked goods had some non dairy options (only complaint). I came in around 1pm on a Thursday and almost every table was full and a line out the door so I knew I came to the right place. They also have mini grocery items that are paleo, keto and vegan friendly. Would recommend and will be back!

A+ food and service! Sometimes it can be hard finding a good gluten-free restaurant, but not today! Healthy Creations served us tasty breakfast sandwiches and pumpkin spice cake. Very clean space, and laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend for those with celiac.

I love the smoothies here particularly the Mammouth Moca!!! Super yum!!! Everything I have tried has always been very fresh and delicious. Get energy and quaint little spot for morning latte! Highly recommend. Great options for vegans!!!

Healthy Creations Cage keeps getting better and better over the years. With everything being gluten free it makes it so much more simple to order. There are several vegan options and there seem to be more each time I come here. I ordered the vegan BLTA for the next day for a plane ride based on the recommendation of the cashier and that was a very good choice. It held up well, didn't get soggy OR brick like and was tasty. I also veganized the pesto sandwhich for lunch. Both were delicious. They also have a cooler filled with various beverages and foodstuffs. They had my favorite Blueberry Bambucha Kombucha, which was a nice way to round out the meal.

This place is different from the usual spot that I would go to but I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was much better than I expected it to taste. I got the Roasted Mediterranean Chicken Panini and in the picture, it looks like it would be both bland and a lot of flavor at once, but it was definitely better than it looked to me. I am not a fan of bell pepper but I will say the few bites I had before taking the peppers out was tolerable and complemented the sandwich. The staff was also helpful and friendly during the time that I was ordering my food. I also noticed that there were several dessert options that looked appealing to me and I would definitely be interested in trying a few of these desserts out. I have quite a sweet tooth, so if everything tastes great I will be coming here more often. Location-wise, this place is easy to miss, so you really have to search for this location since it is a bit more removed from your usual shopping centers. I think having a more obvious sign closer to the road could help bring in more customers to enjoy the different options they have available here. Although I think there are some improvements that can be made, forsure this location is on my list to try again.

This is my twin sisters go to place for ordering breakfast or lunch. I could tell when we have eaten there for lunch that they are very attentive to our orders (even remembering the options that my sister goes for.) They are "organic, local, and fresh" as they say and take orders over the phone, online, and via door dash. My go-to is the BLTAE, which includes bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and the egg. The bacon is caramelized and sweet, balancing out the salt that comes from the other ingredients. They also offer delicious baked items, including the peanut butter brownie, which is a must order here!

I am Gluten Free and saw the reviews and stars and immediately wanted to try this place. Especially since they said all of their items are gluten free and their bread is made in house! We ordered from door dash the following items: - California Sandwich with Mediterranean chicken, and paleo rosemary bread with the aioli on the side. - Wild Smoked salmon salad without onions & cranberries Let's start with the salad: Absolutely NOT worth $16 AT ALL! There were soggy lettuce greens, OLD STALE APPLE SLICES, stale almond slivers and the salmon was extremely stinky, with the skin on, which left an extremely fishy taste throughout the whole salad. Let alone.. the piece itself was smaller than my index finger!! I could go to Whole Foods and get a much better, bigger & fresher salad for the same price. Honestly felt like the ingredients had been sitting in containers for days until they got an order.. Moving on to the sandwich: The bread was a total disappointment. Rock hard, and extremely dry. Had to remove the bread and put my own gluten free bread. While I understand paleo bread might be on the dry side.. this one was hard to put down. Felt like it was made three weeks ago. The chicken and ingredients were great but thank goodness we got the aioli on the side because not only did it not have flavor but it was separating. Honestly.. not worth it and would rather go to Nectarine grove which has gluten free options with bigger portions and better taste and same price (both of these cost a total of $39!) Very unfortunate as I had high hopes.

Clean, Organic, Local. Reasonably priced. I am a local and it's hard to find good clean food that is delicious like this restaurant. This is definitely a gem and I will be back. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. And the cookies were excellent.

If you are looking for healthy vegan food and gluten free items, this is the place! This is my 3er time there and I'm always positively satisfied with the food. BTW the guy behind the counter provides top notch service and helpful explanations about items and food offering. The last time I went easy with just a pastry and a matcha drink. I have tried the vegan tacos and the vegan sandwich in the past. Both delish!

I've been here twice. I live in Orange County, but when I am fortunate enough to be in this area for work, I'm going to come here every time! The first time I got the low mercury tuna wrap with lemon aïoli and it was so good! Plus, I took home some baked goods and some soups in their frozen section. Everything was amazing. I went back a few days ago, and I got the California wrap. I added bacon, and I switched the sun-dried tomato aïoli for the lemon aïoli and, OMG... It was so, so, so good! I really wish we had one of these in Orange County! I can't wait to go back! But in the meantime, I took plenty with me. The only thing I wouldn't give five stars to would be the coffee. I tried a latte the first time, and was not impressed. But honestly, I really don't care about that. I just need great places to eat gluten-free safely. This place does the trick, but not just that... It is truly delicious!

This place used to be the best! I'd order my breakfast sandwiches daily and was never disappointed. Things change though I guess /: back in the area & ordered some breakfast sandwiches for my family & I, unfortunately they made the sandwiches 45 minutes before the DoorDash was expected to arrive. So between that & the 10-15 minutes it took for the dasher to get our food to us, our food had been sitting for probably over an hour. The sandwiches were cold & rock hard. Couldn't even eat them/: $77 down the drain.. totally bummed

I love this place. I made it my birthday plan and was so happy I did. Being gluten free can be really difficult and it's so nice to feel safe, relaxed and to ENJOY a lunch out!! Their Mediterranean panini was delicious! Cupcakes... mmm I also bought some English muffins that were wonderful, and bagels, which were not my cup of tea- very hard but loved the English muffins Please stay in business because you're my new favorite spot!! This place is always chaos. Really poor service. Even if they aren't busy the tables are dirty I get half my order delivered to my table and ask where the rest is and she just points at the front and walks away. I left a tip at the register when I paid for this? Assuming I come back I won't be dumb enough to leave a tip again. Don't even think about coming here on a weekend morning by the way. Chaos times ten. High prices mean you should provide good food AND service.
