The 26 Best Restaurants in Anchorage, Alaska - Eater

"This is an excellent pizza spot with generous, heated outdoor seating in Anchorage’s Spenard neighborhood. The vegetable-heavy menu has lots of good surprises – including a simple, delicious plate of vegetables cooked in the wood-fired pizza oven with house-made aioli, meatballs with spaghetti squash and a kale-quinoa salad with pumpkin seeds. There are lots of vegan options and the gluten-free pizza crust is outstanding — a serious feat. There’s local cider, beer, and kombucha on tap and efficient takeout." - Julia O'Malley

Stopped in on a busy Sunday night before Christmas, and despite the holiday rush, Hearth Artisan Pizza delivered an exceptional experience. The restaurant was bustling, but our waiter Aaron was attentive, friendly, and efficient—truly wonderful service. We started with the Brussels sprouts, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. For the mains, we ordered the Margherita pizza and the calzone special. Both were cooked to perfection, even with the crowd. The fresh, high-quality ingredients and the unmistakable flavor from the brick oven made every bite amazing. Hearth Artisan Pizza is a gem, with delicious food, great ambiance, and outstanding service, even on their busiest nights. Highly recommend!

Google
Okay, super chill, but non of us knew what we were ordering off the menu. We had to guess, and it turned out great! But the food descriptions were a little too fancy for our Alaskan country verse, haha. Great food and staff. It did take over 40 minutes for our pizzas, so just be ready to chat or people watch while you wait!

Google
The name, simply in it's own essence is enough. The pizza served at this establishment is very well done. Scratch the 10 or 15 you might pay somewhere else for something simple, and spend 16-22 ish on something that's made with higher quality products. There isnt a place in town that beats it really. Dont waste your time, check out what Hearth has to offer. *Update! Been here many times after this review and everything has always been spot on. This evening, the Lamb Kebabs and the Pozole was ordered and both were wonderful.

Google
It isnt the best pizza we've had but this place is phenomenal. WAY better than Mooses Tooth, which is glorified digornio. I got the Finnochio and she got the Margherrita. The bread is fabulous. Absolutely what I wanted. The sauce is great. I think it could be improved minimally if more spices were added. The toppings were great and overall the taste was great. Favorite place thus far and we will be coming back. Will not go back to Mooses Tooth. Just as good ambiance. Just as good service. The pizza takes longer because it's better - hands down. Beer and alcohol just as good. Deserts are incredible. It's clear that the manner in which the pizza is made and served is important here. Not as cheap as MT but way better. You get what you pay for.

Google
Great place for pizza. Being vegetarians we tried the Farmer’s pizza and an exotic one - with Beet pesto sauce ! Both were good. We could watch the Pizza being made freshly and baked in the oven. Would have loved to have some Italian spices like oregano - but to our surprise they did not have ! Super service and reasonable price for the cool ambiance

Google
Even just eating here solo at a table, the staff was 10/10 making me feel comfortable and giving great menu recommendations. Like, beet IPA?! Never would’ve tried that without a sampler but it was great. Also, I’m not a vegan, but I ordered their vegan Voodoo Child pizza with hot honey and it was one of the best pizzas ever, vegan or not. Great food, great service, I’ll be back!

Google
LOVED this place. The food was so fresh and delicious. We had vegetables for an appetizer that were amazing and shared the farmer pie pizza. For the two of us, this was the perfect amount of food. The server was very friendly, and the atmosphere was great.

Google
Pizza was good, not the regular American pizza, more of an Italian style which I like. Salad was super good, fresh nothing bitter in it. Atmosphere ist quite loud, but I would come again. Best Pizza I had so far in AK!

Yelp
First time here after a long time wondering what it's like. Why did I wait so long?? Service was amazing, attentive and couldn't of asked for a better server. She was a busy be waiting tables and tending bar. Gold star! We had the Holy Cow and the Hawaiian. Good gracious they were good. I love a wood fired pizza with the bits of burnt crust (flavor locked!) the fresh pineapple and Matanuska Jamon ham was sooo good. Their red sauce was really good as well, I kept talking about it. It was rich and had depth with herbs unlike a simple tomato sauce. Heck yeah! We enjoyed 49th states brew and soda here which was great. I really enjoy the Golden Dall they offer among other local brews and ciders. Not a quiet atmosphere, but also not hard to hear your conversation like other places in town. Music playing and chatter of happy Alaskans out enjoying Spenard! I love my neighborhood. Next time I'll try their outdoor seating. You can enter either side of the building, but the host is on the Benson entrance.

Yelp
I have gone to Hearth a few times and liked it, but it wasn't somewhere I frequented often. It's pretty expensive, but they use organic and local ingredients, which I appreciate and will pay extra for. My husband had never been but decided to try it out since they have dairy free and gluten free options. I got the Hieronymus Bosc pizza and oh my word, it was amazing! I have been dreaming about it since. My husband had a pizza with gluten free crust and dairy free cheese. The beet walnut pesto is also dairy free and he got that too. I took a bite and thought the gluten free crust was great. The beet pesto is an awesome option for people who get heartburn from tomato sauce. I think it tasted pretty good. I love the cozy interior and everyone was friendly. I am looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
Really solid Pizza! Moose's tooth gets all the fame but Hearth deserves some love as well. We ordered two apps and three pizzas and all of the food was delicious! My favorite was the sweet Carmela, it was topped with fennel sausage and cooked to perfection! If you have never been here give it a try even if you're a Moose's tooth faithful. There was no wait when we went and the ambiance was cool with the indoor and outdoor seating!

Yelp
Best Pizza in town. Get the Spicy Vito Their pizza dough is so thin and so fire. They have a wide variety of beer as well.

Yelp
Delicious but Chintzy Hey, I'm from New Yawk, so my standards are high, so bear with me. Margharita Pizza -- my go to -- was good and my wife had the meatballs with tomato sauce which were excellent. The server was excellent, and she knew what I was tawkin' 'bout when I asked for a cappuccino. And the cheesecake she recommended was tasty and it topped off the meal nicely. But here's my beef: the menu says I was drinking a "latte" -- WTF izzat, I pondered. OK, we have Starbucks where I come from but let's be precise, shall we? My "chintzy" designation is about that coffee. You see, a cappuccino, latte, whatever cup is not large, so after downing it satisfyingly I did what I always do when there's still some dessert on my plate: I took the cup over to the bartender a few steps away and asked for a "top-up" of regular coffee. Would you believe that he said "that requires a separate charge for a new cuppa coffee"? $4 more for a "top up"?!?! Fuhgettaboutit

Yelp
We received a gift card from one of our customers and it was DELICIOUS!!! Talk about happy tummies!!! We ordered the Sweet Potato Pie, Margaretah, Chicken Calzone, Kids Cheese Sticks and the Green Posole.... All dishes hit point, super delicious and amazing! Our server was on it and was super tentative. The atmosphere was hella chill, family oriented and just a amazing feeling.... This place I extremely recommend!!!! Thank you!

Yelp
While visiting Alaska recently I had a craving for pizza and came across this great spot! Lots of AK draft beers on tap, lively atmosphere and good food reasonably priced. The service lagged a bit but fortunately we weren't in a rush. We ordered a beets salad that was earthy and refreshing and a veggie pizza topped with fennel. The pizza was good but too much fennel which overpowered the veggies and gave us both heartburn ‍ I would go back should I visit anchorage again, and do recommend that you stop in. Overall it was a positive experience and the negatives I've noted are totally correctable!

Yelp
Went with one of my besties for a midweek belated birthday catchup. Things were slow there, and so was the service. Food was great though. We ordered a margarita pizza and kale salad to split. Our sever was super nice and delivered it split without our even asking. My nitro Stout was AMAZING, but my friend got the bottom of the keg with her drink and she got shorted AND there was a lot of nasty detritus in her drink. The server really should have offered her something else because it was super gross. She made the assumption that we would stay long enough for a second drink and offered is half price on a second drink which made no sense whatsoever. Otherwise meal was good.

Yelp
What great food. I havnt been impressed by the food scene here in Alaska but this place does stand out. The pizzas taste very fresh and not heavy or too light but a great balance. Same for the pizza sauce. The ingredients work well together. Though when you cut a slice the pointy part is too soft that it won't stay straight so you have to make sure you hold it at the end so it does fall over. But that minor to how good it taste. Thr Brussels Spouts were pretty good but definitely could have used some more salt, and this is coming from someone that uses very little salt at all.

Yelp
I enjoyed stumbling on this restaurant in the strip mall. The ambiance is warm and inviting. We went in on a cold snowy day and grabbed a table by the window that looked onto the porch for the summer. The owners were friendly and kind. The staff were very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We started with the caesar salad and it blew my mind. It was farm to table fresh. We then had two pizzas, 1) Margherita which was excellent, our four year enjoyed it! 2) Farmers Pie- Ricotta, mozzarella, mushrooms, spinach, garlic )TO DIE FOR DELICIOUS! I really enjoyed the local beers on rotation, and live music.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and fast service. Good background music and very full. Great pizza flavors and taste.

Yelp
As a Vegan it was so nice to find a pizza place that had the option. I got the Voodoo child. It was delicious. It was reminiscent of a taco pizza. I also got the beet salad. Flavors were amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely my new spot for Pizza! Yeah! I said it. The selection on the menu might not have a lot of different flavors, but I tried a few style and it was amazing. The beets pizza WOW!! Great smaller and private spot to relax and enjoy a beer.

K G.

Yelp
Great food! Great beer selection! Weird vibe. Seem to be a lot of people that just camp out...for hours. Makes getting a table challenging at times. But the food is delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
I would say this would be one of the better places to go to try different beers for sure. They have about 20 taps and they are all filled and ready for you to come drink. If you do sit at the bar be sure you are ready for a conversation. The blue black apricot smoothie sour from Black Spruce brewing was for sure different and not too sour to upset your stomach. The food here is very tasty and well put together. The Brussels sprouts have to for sure be my favorite thing here. They are roasted perfectly and the bacon jam that is with it ties it all together. When I do come back I have to make sure I order the Brussels sprouts.

Yelp
I'm bummed I did not discover this place sooner. Ask any tourist or Anchorage resident where to get pizza in the city and you're likely to hear "Moose's Tooth." Though delicious, I did not feel like I gained 5 pounds after eating an entire pizza at Hearth. Artisan is in the name for a reason. This place was packed on a Friday night, but died down around 9:30. There are about 8 seats at the bar and the dining room can hold 30-40 customers. There is an outdoor area as well with a few tables, a fire pit and heat lamps. We started with the meatballs. Four small ones came out atop sauerkraut and a delicious sauce. They were tasty, but a bit underwhelming for $12. The $20 average price point per pizza is worthwhile. I went with the spicy Vito. The pizza by itself was top notch, but the house hot honey brought it to a whole different level. They also have a pretty large draft beer selection and a half-decent wine list.

Yelp
If you like beets, you will love the beet salad. If you love beets and pizza, you will love the beet pizza! Go Beets!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful stop for fantastic food in Anchorage. Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had - the only one that could possibly top it was the caesar at Sand Valley golf/restaurant in Wisconsin. Our pizzas were delish - Farmers with tasty fennel sausage ‍, and a traditional Margherita. Both were excellent. I saw several tables order the Brussels sprouts and the Roasted Cauliflower... we didn't order either but you can see why they're popular. So many craft IPAs, etc to choose from. Visit Hearth! Daughter 1 said she loved the Vibe here. AND, we had much less wait than Moose Tooth and has to be just as good if not better!
google avatar

Yelp
I think this spot is hugely underrated. We had hardly heard about this place and when we did it was always "it's alright." We went with some friends who suggested the location and we were BLOWN away. The inside is adorable and the service is great too. Amazing salads - their kale salad and their Cesaer. Amazing pizza - they had one with blue cheese (I know it sounds scary - but GET IT) that I will dream about how. They also have a beet pizza (I know I know. Stay with me here) ITS SO DAMN GOOD. I am thinking that this spot does the basics (cheese. Pepp. Sausage. "Alright" from the reviews we had heard before). But their bread and butter must be these weird sounding pizzas that later live in your dreams. GO GO GO GO GOOOOO!

Yelp
Had a great dinner here, but ultimately left even more impressed by their excellent and diverse craft beer list and splendid and super-friendly service. Had done appetizers and split some plates, so was able to sample a lot of bites here. A lot of strong stuff here. Would strongly recommend any of the Pork Meatball App (excellent), Bone Broth Soup (and strongly recommended with the marrow butter and mushrooms added--lush and delicious) and the Beet Salad. And while I'm generally not a dessert person, I must stress if possible to save room for the incredible chocolate avocado pudding. My one quibble, and the only thing keeping me from 5 star perfection... what can I say--I'm a New Yorker. The pizza is fine for being, you know... 4,000 miles or so from NY. Pretty good, even. Inventive combinations. But... sorry. Still not up to my ridiculous pizza standards. Still, had a great meal and an incredibly fun time here, eating dinner and then hanging at the bar afterwards. I was particularly impressed by the diverse beer selection--I was able to have a Cucumber Sour, a Pilsner, a Saison and a Porter, and was still left wishing I could try others from the stellar 20 tap list. Both Cara (our server at the table) and Morgan (at the bar) were incredibly fun and friendly and efficient. overall just a great place to visit.

Mikayla S.

Yelp
Great environment with a good selection of beers and ciders on tap. The food was FANTASTIC! I definitely recommend trying an app, salad and pizza for the table.

Yelp
The menu was limited and our order take awhile to receive. When we received our bill I noticed a QR code on it to pay. I tried this option and it didn't work. We mentioned it to our server and she knew about it but didn't let us know about it. The problem with the QR code seems to be an on going issue for awhile with no plans fix to it. Not sure if this is a system issue or management issue for not maintaining the QR code.

Yelp
Two stars cus my boyfriend loves the "hot mess" pizza but everyone else in my family thinks the pizza is very very lame. We all got different ones thinking it was gonna be gourmet but its so lame and disappointing and the gluten free crust is the worst i ever had and ive had so many different ones throughout the states from so many places. Seriously cant believe i payed an extra 4$ for my crust to taste like old stale pretzels. If you are filthy rich then go here but a tiny pizza for $20 that sucks is outrageous. Ive been to many places with "quality" ingredients that are at least mildly affordable. Personally i wouldn't gave 0 stars. Id rather go to chuck e cheese and die from eating gluten than ever spend my money here again. #unclejoesisalwaysgonnabebetter #sorrynotsorry
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful pizza! Not your normal pizza. It's uniquely great!! We had the Hot Mess and lived every bite. A great choice of beers and the best part was the staff was great. Friendly Alaskan smiles and service. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
We dined in before the COVID 19 related shut downs. I have been wanting to try the pizza here for quite some time, and finally the stars aligned and we were in the area in need of an early dinner spot. I like the ambiance here. It is very chill, and laid back. The interior is minimalist with industrial touches. It has the same vibes as a brewery. Loved the fresh floral arrangements on the tables--nice touch. The pizza oven is out in the open, and a great focal point. I also see that they have a patio for when the weather is warmer although it will overlook the parking lot. Gotta enjoy warm weather in AK when it is thrown your way! Service was great. We were seated promptly, and our server was very attentive. The pizzas took about 20 minutes to cook, and the restaurant had a decent amount of patrons for an off time. We were there around 3:30pm. There is a great selection of craft beer on tap from breweries all across the USA. The selections seem very well thought out as there are a lot of beers that I don't normally see served in Anchorage. The food menu is not too extensive. We did not try any appetizers because nothing really stuck out, and decided to skip dessert. We were pretty hungry so we each picked out a pizza. My husband ordered the classico and I got the spicy vito. Hearth makes what I would consider a more modern take Neapolitan style pizza. Everything is made fresh to order, and in house with most ingredients sourced in Alaska--I love seeing this on restaurant menus! I thought the crust was very good, and the sauce had decent flavor. The pizzas were cooked well with just the right amount of char, and the middle of the pizza was not overly soggy. My spicy vito pizza did not have too much spice to it, which was disappointing, and the flavor of the hot honey wasn't very apparent. The Alaskan soppresatta had good flavor. Overall the spicy vito was good, but I wish some of the ingredients stood out more. I did not taste the calssico, but my husband enjoyed it. We were really satisfied with our meal, and I think that the pizza at Hearth are good! It's not my favorite pizza place, but it is definitely in one of the top spots. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu!
google avatar

Emily L.

Yelp
The pizzas here are all wood fired and they have a "fresh Eats" page with seasonal specials. The farmers market pizza that we shared was all veggies and I think some fennel sausage, but WOW! It was soooo good. We also got a spicy and sweet pizza; split between three of us, and still had a few slices leftover. The wine and beer variety is great, too. A go-to for sure!
google avatar

Yelp
medocre. 2nd time here. we were not planning on returning, yet family wanted to meet for lunch. the service was mediocre, in terms of attentiveness, and demeanor. we were not checked on during the meal. the beet salad ingredients were minced up so much...why not put the whole thing in a blender. yes it was good, yes the ingredients complimented each other, but like meatloaf, if its all a chopped into little pieces, its difficult for the palate to enjoy the burst of individual flavor from each ingredient. less work chop up less please. the pizza was burnt on the edges...fine in the middle..it was unmemorable. i had a pilsner....too warm. i am an american, not a german. i like my beer cold.
google avatar

Yelp
The best pizza in Town! The pizza is thin and crispy and all the topping are just unique and tasty. The place have a great outdoor sitting area to enjoy the summer and cute and cozy place inside. The service is always great and everyone smiles.

Yelp
FOOD: the food was absolutely delicious. We got the beet pizza and the sweet potato pie pizza and the roasted Brussel sprouts for an app. Brussels were absolutely amazing and we scraped our bowl clean! The pizza was just as amazing. My husband finished his sweet potato pie pizza before we left! I couldn't finish my beet pizza but had it for leftovers the next day. So good. ATMOSPHERE: super cozy and the lighting makes it feel so rustic. lots of people laughing and drinking and having a great time. Very enjoyable. SERVICE: The service was mostly good, I felt as though other tables were getting more attention than others and we arrived before some tables and got our food after they did. Mildly frustrating but sometimes things just get out of order. Would've liked a bit more personable staff.

Yelp
The Tony Knowles is beautiful (and mosquito infested) during a sunny day. After riding for several miles, the Mrs and I were rolling down Northern Lights looking for a food coma. Hearth pooped out after Middle Way turned out to be closed. Turns out we were grossly under -dressed in our bicycling clothes. Luckily they sat us in a corner. I hope no one was offended. =] The beautiful deck here looks out across a sterile and boring parking lot. It's the only damper on an otherwise pleasant and refreshing little hipster pizza place. I've been on a Spanish wine kick and lucky for me, they had a stellar beer and wine list. The Spanish wine was super tasty. If the server had asked me if I wanted another, I would have said yes ( even at 11 dollars a glass)! A super plus of this place is their ability to make several menu options vegan. My wife (a mostly vegan) was enthralled by this. We went for the butternut squash crostini appetizer and salads for out main course. As is usually the case, my wife's vegan meal was the most tasty and appetizing item on the table. After tasting it, I was like, "Why doesn't kale taste this way when I put it in salads at home?" Nevertheless, my chop salad had a strong showing of veggies, meat, and a sprinkling of dressing. I did wish it was kale or another superfood style green. Overall, great experience. Excited to return!

Annette M.

Yelp
Very delicious! Recommended! Also, great outdoor seating! I love how they cook their pizza in an oven makes it extra delicious!

Yelp
Great service (Morgan was her name with loads of personality) and delicious food. Hubby and I shared a salad to start with. It had Bibb lettuce, cucumbers cut up in really small pieces, pickled grapes, red peppers, strands of red onions and cheese. The dressing I got on the side, which was a lemon vinaigrette with oregano. We shared the Classico pizza which was amazing! The cheese and reindeer sausage and other toppings created a very tasty pizza! Place was amazing service was excellent and wood fired pizza delicious! .

Yelp
The server will tell you the gluten-free pizza is the best in the state. They won't tell you you'll pay double the advertised price - when ordered with goat cheese (which costs $8 for two logs - 21 ounces - at Costco) substituted for mozzarella. And it'll taste marginally better than cardboard. One star for the ambience, minimal crowd, and banter-ready staff.
google avatar

Yelp
Came on a whim and was not disappointed. Their pizzas are unique and quite delicious. Our bartender also had really great energy which matched the ambiance.

Yelp
Ah Hearth, what happened to us? In the past year: - Happy Hour specials have been terminated. - Hearth got a health score of 71. This is the lowest I've ever seen of any business in Anchorage. - Bar service has gotten slower and much less friendly. Worth an occasional visit for their great taps, but no longer a place I visit almost every other day.

Yelp
Getting Pizza Today ---- Hmmm the choices ---- This one looks interesting - Forest Gnome with Oyster Mushrooms but alas another has smitten me .... Okay Judy's off - schools out and Leila's with - hungry going next door to get Leila Skate Cross Country Skis at REI (Early Xmas Present for her) but 1st got to eat! So a 1/2 Sweet Carmella and Half Spicy Vito pizza. Ah, all pizzas can be prepared with Gluten Free dough! Ah samples ... Girdwood-Hippy Speedball - To stoutly for me but Judy got a sample of Seattle Cider Co - Basilmint - okay 2 please! Wow Spicy Vito is Spicy sweet Carmella is Spicy too! We love them! Really Good crust for Gluten Free! If I had a complaint it would be I need a little more cheese. We're drinking our Ciders so Leila's getting the Key Lime Parfait for dessert made from Avocados and Key Limes! Really good!

Yelp
Hubby suggested this and I have found my new favorite!! The pizza is really something! Order the HOT MESS! Also the veggie plate appetizer was delicious! Thank you to Emma for the stellar service!

Yelp
Came with a friend from work. Service was ok. We ordered a salad, pizza and lamb. One hearth cooking lots of pizza. Long wait in a not crowded evening. We got the pizza i had a slice then another server came with another pizza and said the one i just had a bite in a slice wasn't ours and took it. The own we ordered was dry and little to no cheese. The beet salad didn't have any beets that we could see. So had to ask for beets for the beet salad. The lamb was dry. We asked for a little cup of marinara sauce and after multiple asks we got two cup of sauce in coffee cups. The inside of the restaurant was nice. The server can't be at fault if new but some training is needed.

Yelp
Best looking pizza I could find online in Anchorage did not disappoint. I'm a fan of thin base, puffy edged and charred pizzas that come from fast cooking in super hot ovens. Most pizza places I saw via Uber Eats were thin crust but appeared too flat or slow-cooked to my liking. Hearth Artisan was the most appealing to me with their eclectic toppings and apparent charring. My Little Vito was still hot and smoky despite the delivery time to downtown. I read a review recommending hot honey as an extra - but it turned out this was unnecessary as the pizza was already sweet with hot honey. There was a nice interplay of sweet/spicy, smoky/herbaceous, and just the right amount of cheese. My Tuscan salad was simple and delicious, but a challenge to eat without the utensils I requested in my order Mexican Coke went very well with the pizza: the subtle spice and smooth sweetness of the south of the border beverage was a surprise to a disliker of full strength Coca Cola. The pizza ate well cold the next day, and the leftover hot honey was the bomb in my breakfast espresso shot! Hotel delivery via Uber Eats.

Mark W.

Yelp
Delicious pizza. However, beware surprising surcharges. I asked for half goat cheese on a pizza, and was surcharged six dollars, then another 2 to replace that goat cheese with mozzarella. Substituting one cheese for another hardly seems worth eight dollars. In their defense, they offered to contact management and get them involved but with tired kids, I didn't have the time to argue.

Yelp
Some super interesting choices for pizzas and we're definitely going to plan a few more orders in the future when we've got that pizza craving! The oven roasted veggies with the garlic aioli were great. A nice variety with fingerling potatoes, heirloom carrots, and broccolini all roasted well with a right touch of seasoning. The garlic aioli was perfect, nothing else to say about it. Made for the perfect dipping sauce for the crust ends of the pizza as well! The little piggy with hot honey on top was not quite what we were expecting. That being said... it tasted straight up like a gourmet McGriddle in pizza form. Ultimately overly sweet for us but the flavors were nice, uncured bacon was excellent, and the pie crust itself was nice and had that brick oven ash to it(unsure what they're baking in at Hearth but that's what it reminds me of). Looking forward to trying the other pizza offerings, and we'll be hard pressed not to include those oven roasted veggies in all of our future orders!

Yelp
Our first day in Anchorage, local friends took us to this place and said it was their favorite restaurant. We liked it so much that the kids (both 12) demanded we go back again a few days later. - Offers both indoor and outdoor seating - Terrific array of pizza options, and it's HIGH-QUALITY pizza - Very nice assortment of salads - Creative appetizers (I liked the curried cauliflower dish, the kids liked the meatballs) - Good options for anyone following a plant-based or vegan diet, but also great options for the omnivores and flexitarians in the group. - Friendly service NOTE: Summertime dinner hours get very busy; you are better off going early (5pm) or late (8:30/9pm). Fortunately, since it's still broad daylight at 9pm, you won't notice how late it is!

Yelp
Disappointed they got rid of 1/2 and 1/2 pizza - and are now charging a box fee for to gos... when you sit down and have left overs didn't have the same fee. Seems foolish to charge the people who aren't taking up a table. Love the hot mess pizza! Definitely worth trying this place out if you haven't - heads up though, it's loud when you dine in.

Yelp
Well the margarita isn't a margarita. After eating, I went home and made food to fill the void of disappointment.

Yelp
Affordable, crafty, fresh, deliciousness. Me and my husband loved this place. The ambiance is hip but chill and relaxing, with darker lighting and fresh flowers in mason jars on the table. Our waitress was so nice and service was quick. I love all the unique offerings on the menu, like pork and pears on a pizza. What a nice twist to the traditional pork and Hawaiian style pizza. They have a great bar menu with lots of craft beers on tap, wines, and cocktails. A tough decision, but we went with the beet salad and Classico pizza. I did ask for my dressing on the side and they forgot to do that, but luckily the walnut dressing was not over powering or over done. The beets on the salad were nice and tender and paired so good with the pumpkin spiced walnuts & goat cheese. I'll be dreaming about this salad later. Pizza was also great with fresh peppers, ham, and sausage bits. Wasn't overly greasy. We will be back!

Yelp
This was my favorite meal from our entire trip to Alaska. I loved the creative menu options and the pizza was incredible. We ordered a half beet and half Hieronymous Bosc pizza and I liked that we were able to try more than one type of pizza. We split a pizza and a salad as an appetizer, which was just enough food for two people.

Yelp
Came in and had lunch with my son and his girlfriend. This is definitely going to be a regular place to dine at for sure. I know I will want to come sit at the bar and eat next time. The food was FABULOUS. It was busy but the vibe was still very chill. Got the blackend oysters and a cup of pozole. The oysters were amazing and nobody else at the table had eaten any before so we shared and it was mutually decided that they were delicious. Pozole was yummy with a nice mild spice. Had one mimosa, then another, then another. It had a nice light splash of orange juice. I was feeling nice and warm at this point and slightly full. We ordered a banana split to share and I rounded everything off with a latte. Wow! Everything was delicious. The pizza was really so very good. I'm super impressed. That's kinda hard to do. Fresh flowers at the table...very pretty.

Yelp
We came with a large group and ordered allot of food. Usually there are highlights and lowlights to every meal. However, every single dish was on point for us. The wood oven was on fire (yea sorry for the terrible pun), and I love how Hearth used it for practically everything, not just the pizza. The wood fired veggies was one of our group favorite things! As for the pizza, my favorite (even though I'm not vegan) was the Voodoo child. It was different, but in a good way. Also the draft beer selection was awesome.
