Toast to International Chardonnay Day at These Spots Around Atlanta | Eater

"While few things are more classic than a great glass of chardonnay with a few slices of pizza, Hearth Pizza Tavern takes its pies to another level with its dough made from organic flour, wheat germ, and agave, sauce made with both Roma and California tomatoes, and their three-cheese blend of mozzarella, fontina, and fontinella. While their Simply Red margarita pie is worth trying, don’t miss out on the specialties like the New Haven-style Great White Clam with roasted cremini mushrooms and Italian sausage or the Not So Mellow with mascarpone mushroom cream, goat cheese, and truffle fig balsamic." - Su-Jit Lin

What a cute little convenient delicious neighborhood spot! I stopped to shop at Marshall’s and ordered takeout to head home. I got the Brussels sprouts and a 12in simply red pizza for $22.56 (pics attached)! Both were hot and delicious - the pizza was flavorful and perfectly cooked on thin crust. It goes great with the chili sauce. Brussels had the perfect mix of bacon, glaze, and shredded cheese topping (my hand is there for size comparison). I ate half of each and have leftovers for tomorrow. Staff was also kind and attentive. I would definitely come back!

The pizza, drinks, and customer service are amazing. Shout out to Marlene!! This is my second time here. My first time here was on 14 June 2025 so not even a whole week later and I am back!! I had “The Cure” pizza and the Pomegranate Lemon Drop on 14 June 2025. Both were bomb 20 out of 10. Today I am having the “Mass Pike” pizza and Pomegranate Lemon Drop. Again, bomb 20 out of 10. Oh . . . did I forget to mention their ranch dressing is amazing. I love to dip my pizza in ranch dressing. You can’t go wrong with this place. Highly recommend you check it out. 🥰 **UPDATE** I’m back . . . I visited on 27 June 2025. This time I had the Paolo’s Pollo pizza. It was pretty good . . . I would rate it a 15 out of 10. Also if you are not someone who loves olives, you will not enjoy this pie. I also had my favorite drink . . . The pomegranate martini. Also what was cool is I had the sane server. She was amazing as always. I always Chinese to sit on the patio so that may be why. 1st pic pomegranate martini 2nd pic Mass Pike pizza 3rd and 4th pic Paolo’s Pollo pizza

I tried this spot for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! It’s a great hidden gem in the Sandy Springs area. Prices were fair and portions were great. Our server Kat was very friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The food and drink selection was nice, and the atmosphere was perfect for a chill night out. Looking forward to coming back to try their pizzas!

Been wanting to order from this place for a while. Everything was so so good. I almost removed the honey from the 8" Rob-Bee but glad I didn't. The combination of a little sweet and spicy was delicious. And don't get me started on the Cinnamon & Sugar Donuts and the salted caramel ice cream. yum yum

I like to consider myself a pizza connoisseur and can confidently say that Hearth Pizza Tavern has become a Top 3 ATL pizza experience. The Pumpkin Spiced Margarita is fantastic, and the cilantro lime wings are plump, juicy, and packed with flavor. For pizza, both the Mass Pizza and Chicken Coupe De Ville are remarkable, with their own electrifying flavor profiles. The service at this restaurant is also unmatched. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic & unique pizza experience. I highly recommend their seasonal menu!

So we had a little birthday dinner here last night and I just want to say the food was AMAZING! Also, a very special shout out to our waiter Nick. He really took care of us and was just so cool. I we really appreciated the time he took to explain everything and even gave great recommendations on the menu to eat, one of which the pesto base he recommended was absolutely delicious. Thanks Nick! You are awesome!

Google
My pasta was okay, but didn’t have as much flavor as I’d like. The crispy Brussel sprouts were very good and the dessert was AMAZING. woooow. Wish it hadn’t been on the special menu, they should offer it all the time!

I recently dined at Hearth's Pizza in Sandy Springs and was quite pleased with the experience. The standout dish was the eggplant chips – they were perfectly crispy and seasoned. However, I found the pizza to be lacking in sauce, which was a bit disappointing. The service was friendly, and the cozy atmosphere added to the overall appeal. To top it off, I couldn't resist trying their dessert, a mouthwatering brownie/cookie combo with a scoop of ice cream on top. It was truly delightful and a perfect way to end the meal. While there's room for improvement in the pizza department, I'd recommend Hearth's Pizza for the delicious eggplant chips and the scrumptious dessert.

Yelp
So this spot is an a shopping area so there's free and ample parking. It's on the corner so you really can't miss it. I came in close to when they were opening and they were very nice and friendly even though they were getting ready for the day. Tina was my waitress and she took care of me. It's a little dark but it gives a very dark and intimate feeling possible. When I was at it was nobody really there. But that's okay, I got the whole place to myself LOL. They have a very nice size to buy so if you're trying to come and drink, you can do that. They have plenty of TVs as well. So if you're at the bar you can watch TV. Even though you can probably see the TVs from other places. They have indoor and outdoor and patio seating. So you can get a lot of options. The indoor is fine, but the outdoor part is right at the front and there's not a lot of climate control. The patio seating has those plastic wall covers so you can see outside but still won't get hit by the wind here. So that's good if you want options. The fried mozzarella - The mozzarella sticks are pretty damn good. They come with a House made marinara sauce. They are very thick and full of cheese. They have a really good taste as well. Honestly, they may have not needed a whole lot of sauce on them, they were pretty good. The truffle fries - they were pretty decent. They were french fries LOL. They came super crispy and had truffle and cheese all over them. Even on Eric's french fries, they were really good french fries and I would definitely get them again. Wasn't sure about the dipping sauce, I had to try ketchup as well but that did not take away from the fries The cure - basically like a meat lovers Pizza. You can get a medium sized pizza, which is the largest that they go, for under $20. It's loaded with me and cooked made to order. It was about 8 slices and stuffed full of toppings. I told my waitress I was going to take some of it home, she said the doubted it. She was right, once I started, I couldn't stop lol. I will definitely make more stops to this establishment.

Yelp
Popped by for dinner on-the-go, grabbing the Tavern Chopped & Creamy tomato soup - always a winner! I called ahead, and it was ready in a snappy 10 minutes. The waitstaff met me at the curbside pickup, delivering my items without my having to get out of the car in the rain - Excellent!! Once home, I prepared my servings. While the soup and cheese bread were on par, the salad was lacking for chicken. That was a disappointing, as I was hoping for a better portion of protein for a light meal. Overall, still quality food and good portions.

Yelp
Food was good! Kids ate the pizza up! That means that it wasn't so gourmet that a kid wouldn't like it. Ambiance was nice. Service was excellent. Would eat there again.

Yelp
Great pizza and great service. Good neighborhood casual pizza joint. They serve their pizzas in 8" and 12" sizes. My wife and I split a salad and a 12" pizza, and that was more than enough food for us. I really enjoyed their mass pike pie as well as their pesto and clam pies. They have a separate door for pickup which is very efficient.

Yelp
We frequent Hearth Pizzaa Tavern often and have always enjoyed our meals, especially the burgers and chicken sandwiches, which are consistently delicious and served with fresh-cut fries. The burger remains very good, though on our recent visits it seemed noticeably smaller in size. Unfortunately, we've also observed a decline in the restaurant's upkeep. The booth we were seated in had torn cushions with bare wood showing through, and the area had an unpleasant odor. Cleanliness throughout the space appears to be slipping, and management needs to be more vigilant in maintaining basic standards of hygiene and appearance. We hope to see Hearth Pizza Tavern refreshed and better maintained, as the food deserves a setting to match.

Yelp
I enjoy this restaurant. The food is good and the staff is attentive. The Tavern Chopped Salad is perfectly prepared and keeps me coming back! Delicious!

Yelp
Hearth is one of our favorite places for a casual dinner. The service is always great and the atmosphere is warm, friendly, and casual. Pizza is the primary draw and they offer something for everyone . . . From the Cure with cured meats to the Veggie, you can find a pizza that suits you. My personal favorite, however, are the mussels in white wine. The focaccia that accompanies it is delicious and perfect for soaking up the delicious broth. We usually start with the calamari or the Parmesan truffle fries, and the fried eggplant is sooo good. If you want a good craft beer and a great burger or pizza, this is a solid choice in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Every city has their neighborhood pizza tavern and Hearth is it for Sandy Springs. This place is awesome and has a tavern speakeasy feel but has enough seating and lighting for date night. I recommend coming for early dinner on a Friday and then drinks at the bar afterwards.

Yelp
I thought hmm clams on a pizza?? I gotta it out! Welp...wish I hadn't lol this was probably the weirdest pizza I've ever had in my life. The clams, Italian sausage, and mushrooms didn't pair well together at all. The cheese was non existent and the dough wasn't thoroughly cooked. Never again will I get this. The appetizers were just alright. The calamari was rubbery and hard to chew yet alone swallow. 2 meatballs for $8 is WILD. The red sauce tasted like it was out of a jar and doctored up. If I'm gonna spend $8 for 2 meatballs, it gotta be A1. The Brussels sprouts were by far the best out of everything we tasted. Crispy and flavorful, especially with the pancetta lardons. The balsamic port glaze had the perfect amount of acidity needed to elevate this dish. Amazing! The customer service was great and the ambiance was cool. Would I eat here again? Ehh...probably not.

Yelp
Came in for a solo date. Sat at the bar and the bartender was so nice. It is refreshing getting good service after a rough day. I ordered the pink lady pizza...delicious and a dirty martini both great.

Yelp
Hearth pizza is located in the same plaza as Whole Foods and crumbl cookies. They serve appetizers, salads, and of course pizzas. Pizzas come in 8" or 12" sizes. I think ordering multiple 8" is nice if you want to try out more than one pizza. I've tried their pesto pizza, mass pike pizza, and white clams pizza. All of them were delicious. Seating can feel a bit awkward when the booths to the side are taken. They have long tables in the middle that can seat 6 but sometimes they just sit 1 person at those tables and the servers are walking around you constantly. The restaurant is also a bit dark. They have a separate entrance dedicated to takeout orders.

Yelp
We ordered one of the two October special pizzas on the menu. The 12" Prost was excellent! The other was vegetarian. Service was top notch. It helped that we were there before the dinner crowd arrived last Sunday. It was pleasant enough to choose outside dining, plus inside was a little too cool for us.

Yelp
My wife and I frequent this restaurant. We work nearby and have had lunch there multiple times. We pick up pizza and salad to go, pretty much every Friday night after work. I can order a pizza to go, and it's ready in 15 minutes. Seriously. These guys are well organized. Great food, great service. We like their brick oven pizza so much, that we ordered our own Forno Bravo oven from Italy.

Yelp
Everything is great. Don't miss the salads or sandwiches.Large patio outsid good service Recently tried the clam pizza and was amazed!

Yelp
I went all the time when i lived closer and my daughter and i loved it. I recently went back, I think they may have changed a few things. Still is good but something seemed a little different.

Yelp
If you're a pizza lover then you HAVE to try this place!! It's absolutely delicious and hits the damn spot! Also, the hot honey is outta this world and now I always want hot honey on pizza. Service is always above and beyond and the food comes out quick so perfect if you're in a rush! It's a chill place and a little dark but it's definitely a vibe I can get behind. Now go get yourself a pizza alrea

Yelp
I used to love Hearth and we ate there often. Over the last couple years the quality has changed and it isn't as good as it used to be.

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday for lunch with a friend. Nice enough place Ordered a chicken club which sounded great on the menu and was assured by the waitress would be good. Sorry, only 3 stars. The chicken was very slim for the overwhelmingly fat focaccia it was on. The chicken was grilled, but very slim and not well seasoned. The bread was good but just too thick for a sandwich. They grilled the bread which gave it a little texture, but just not enough. The garlic dressing makes the sandwich, but should probably be on the side to make it work. Barely any lettuce or tomato so the overall impression was a bit dry. The fries were awful. Worst I've seen in ages! Overly brown, flaccid and unseasoned. I ate a few, but regretted it. I'll try again sometime but stick to the pizza.

Yelp
Stopped here for dinner a few days ago. I didn't want to eat inside since I had my dog with me, but I did see there was a patio section. I ordered a pesto pizza and Caesar's salad to go. The food came quickly and the server brought it out to my car. The Caesar salad was really good, but I forgot to add extra dressing because I'm a sucker for Caesar dressing. Even without the extra dressing it was yummy. I'm not too sure what the pesto pizza was missing but I'm thinking some sea salt. The pine nuts was a different touch. Overall great pizza place if you want more than a papa johns or dominos.

Yelp
Really good food. So far, I've eaten: -Rob's Famous Meatballs with Ricotta appetizer: amazing, I like when my meatballs are a little more firm but still juicy and these were it. I really recommend! Three meatballs in marinara served with two slices of focaccia. Wish the focaccia was warm but I got this one to go so maybe it's warm when you eat in. -Mom says "eat your veggies"! pizza: okay, a little soggy -Ring of Fire pizza: amazing but SPICY. I think ppl that are okay with heat would find it enjoyable but ppl who don't have any spice tolerance would not like it/be able to eat much of it. -Not so Mellow pizza: delicious and very creamy. -Caesar salad with grilled chicken: great portion, fresh, and chicken was so good. The garlic caesar dressing is delicious. Service is nice, but a little slow. There is seating outside and wood booths/tables inside. Nice place to grab lunch in Sandy Springs.

Yelp
What the what? I've heard from several people that Hearth is very good. And the reviews on Yelp are positive. Maybe I am just spoiled because I live closer to Avellino's in Brookhaven, and their pizza is some of the best in Atlanta. I was craving a solid pizza one day for lunch. Wanted my favorite Avellino's, but they are not open for lunch on weekdays. Since I had heard solid things, I decided it was finally time to go experience the joy of Hearth. It's in a shopping center off Roswell Rd. and Abernathy. Easy to get in and out of. Plenty of parking. I sat at the bar as I was alone. The ambiance is casual pizza restaurant. Surprise . Service was fine. I ordered a soda and The Cure. Tbe pizza came out pretty timely. I just found it very underwhelming. Crust was a little dry for my liking. Toppings were fine. It was salty, but that's fairly obvious due to my selection of a salty meat pizza. I wish I loved it, but I didn't. I like pizza of all kinds. Nothing wrong with Hearth....but it just didn't meet or exceed my high expectations.
google avatar

Yelp
Very cool ambiance and style with equally delicious and nutritious flavors! Service was great between the server and the food runner! I love when you have multiple staff and teamwork! So let's talk pizza. Obviously this is a brick oven fire type pizza! Thus you have a crust that is charred to give it a nice earthy flavor. I love the thickness of the crust. It's not too thick or thin! We had -mom says eat your veggies pizza And -Paolos pollo pizza Both so good! Honestly I didn't see or taste a huge difference in either. But both are packed of flavor! I've never had BUTTERNUT SQUASH on a pizza and let me tell you- it was GOOD! I like that this pizza place has a large variety of fresh ingredients and let's those who care about what goes in their body really shine here! I'm def going back soon for more carbs! Ha! I want something spicy next time. Oh one last thing! The GRILLED CHICKEN is much more flavorful than the other chicken choice! Enjoy guys! Let's help this business flourish.

Yelp
What a nice place. Located near 285 so convenient to get to. No charge for parking in a strip mall Friendly staff. I got a simple cheese pizza. If Dave Portnoy were to score this I'd say 7.5. Good pizza. No flop. Nice crust. Good sauce and cooked just the right amount. If your around 285 and Roswell and need a warm friendly place to get a pizza (they had lots of other things on the menu, a nice bar and a nice selection of draft beers too), give it a try

Li L.

Yelp
Good food and services. We had mozzarella sticks and calamari as appetizer. Both were very good, especially the calamari, lightly battered, crisp and tender. All three pizzas we ordered were good..
google avatar

Lavinna K.

Yelp
Another Dining Out coupon book find! The food is really good here. We got a pepperoni pizza and the Up In Smoke burger. The pizza was really good! I generally only eat the crust. This crust was crispy and tasty. The burger had tons of flavor and the fries were hand cut fries, which are my favorite. The service was fine. Our server was awesome..the host was just ok. We sat on the patio. Inside wasn't very crowded so I'm not exactly sure why she seated us out there. It was fine. It's cold here but the patio was heated nicely.
google avatar

Renee P.

Yelp
Heard about this place so I stopped in since I was in the area. Happy that I did the food was great! We had the pizza, salad and Brussels sprouts. All 3 were tasty and fresh. The pizza was a handmade thin crust just delicious. Our server Jackie was awesome. She was attentive, friendly and super nice. I will definitely be back

Ro J.

Yelp
I like Hearth Very much And will continue to eat their food.Tasty and fresh. . Yes I recommend it. Try it!,

Hope H.

Yelp
Recently dined at Hearth, service was excellent and the salad was tasty. The pizza however was a soggy mess. The outer crust was fine but I rest of it was so thin , about as thin as a potato chip. I was unable to pick up a slice. It had a good flavor but it's all about the crust. I would never order it again.

Vanessa H.

Yelp
The food here is delicious! They have seasonal menu for each month. Last November I had the crab dip and this time I had the smoked salmon dip. Both were wonderful the pizza is also good along with the service! Make sure to try this place out. It's very chill so it's good for if you want something quick and easy.

Russell H.

Yelp
The pizza it's really good there, but of course, so are the mozzarella sticks and the wings

Yelp
For a place that is so casual and tasty, it is worth coming out to enjoy some of its great options. _________________________________________________________ PARKING & LOCATION | [Hearth Pizza Tavern is located near the same area as Whole Foods, Marshels, Petco, and Crumbl Cookies in Sandy Springs. The parking option is not bad at all so you shouldn't have any trouble finding parking.] _________________________________________________________ EXTERIOR & INTERIOR | [The store is on the opposite side of Whole Foods, so it is the end store. You will see the sign 'Hearth' above their entrance. When you walk in, you are brought to a modern-style tavern that has a combo of night lit, pizza aesthetics, and sports vibes. ] _________________________________________________________ IS IT CLEAN? | [The place is pretty clean for the most part.] _________________________________________________________ FOOD & DRINKS | [Now we come to the best part of the review which is the food and drinks. We ordered the Sandy Springs pizza, Truffle fries, Guinness, and Lavender Lemonade. The Sandy Springs Pizza was a well-toasted pizza that had a great sauce base and topping selections added. Even though it was titled Sandy Springs Pizza, it was similar to a margarita pizza in a lot of ways. The pizza didn't seem very original but it was pretty good. The Truffle Fries were the game-winner for me. I loved the amount of seasoning they put on the fries and how crispy they were. The truffle taste was not overpowering and it really balanced well with the side sauce they gave to us. The Lavender Lemonade was really strong, but a little tasty. The drink did feel a little more strong than it needed to be from tasting it. Everything else was balanced correctly in the drink.] _________________________________________________________ SERVICE ‍‍| [The service was not too bad. We had a waitress who just started and was on point of the service. She kept very simple, professional, and sweet for all of us to enjoy.] _________________________________________________________ OVERALL | [ This place is pretty good and I would actually come here more often as my go-to bar place if I wanted to start a weekly thing. It was comfortable and enjoyable.]

Yelp
I visited today, and I was warmly welcomed from the door. The service and ambiance on the patio were exceptional. I ordered a caesar salad and a pizza. Can I say amazing!!! All I can say is...just go!

Yelp
Okay food for okay prices. Extremely noisy at 7pm on a Wednesday night. Waiter was very nice but not super attentive and service was slow. Plenty of parking in the parking lot outside and restaurant has outdoor seating for people who prefer that.

Yelp
Hearth Pizza Tavern in Sandy Springs strikes that perfect balance between being kid-friendly and maintaining an adult ambiance. It's like hitting two birds with one stone - you can bring the whole family along and still feel like you're out on a date night. Hearth has great personal-sized pizzas. But it's not just about the pizza; they've got a menu that impressively adds other upscale items, like their salads or crispy brussel sprouts which are a personal fav. This place has secured a spot in our regular dining rotation as a versatile spot - great whether you're on a date, out with the family, or catching up with friends over good food and drinks. In short, if you're in Sandy Springs and looking for a place that satisfies both the 'family-friendly' and 'adult night out' criteria, Hearth Pizza Tavern is your go-to. With great food, a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, and a stellar wine list, it's a local favorite that just keeps delivering.

Yelp
I visited here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed myself. My friend and I came here on a Friday night and surprisingly there was no wait . Our server was spot on and quickly took our drink orders . We both ordered old fashioned and we loved them!!! The fried calamari and mozzarella sticks as the appetizer were amazing. The portions were great for sharing.... We couldn't eat them all. My friend and I both ordered pizzas as our main entree.... 8 inch or something like that . It was the perfect size . Again , we both had leftovers. The inside of the restaurant isn't big but a decent size. The kitchen is awkwardly located in the middle of the restaurant . Nice patio. It can potentially get loud indoor so just something to be aware of. Overall, this was a great dining experience and would definitely come here again!
google avatar

Bryan M.

Yelp
Pretty good pizza, but the appetizers were both overcooked. The calamari was way too crunchy as were the brussels sprouts. The pizza is good and I recommend getting a large so you can take a few slices home.
google avatar

Jaclynn J.

Yelp
I got the Hawaiian pizza with pepperoni instead of ham it was delicious! My husband got the bbq chicken pizza and it was good too! Nice staff and very cute on inside!

Yelp
Amazing!! Tore it up!! I wish the pizza was bigger. But it was just enough. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
This was an unplanned and unexpected stop on a busy day of shopping and I'm so glad we did! Food: The food was great! The pizza was delicious and the salad was yummy (a little dry, but a quick request for more dressing took care of that). The serving size was perfect for two. We customized the larger pizza and shared it with the salad. Service: The server was extremely hospitable. She was very responsive and helpful. The restaurant was clean and not too crowded. Prices: The prices seemed fair for the quality. Location: This restaurant is located in a plaza. So parking is super easy and it's close to the highway. I'd 100% recommend and can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
Great local place. Food is always solid and fun atmosphere. We usually get the pizzas

Yelp
Best pizza ever. Wood fire stove, great service. Pretty good selection of drinks. Great vibe, cool place.
google avatar

Hart P.

Yelp
Solid food option. The menu has a range of flavors on a standard bar menu: pizza, burger and sandwich. I enjoyed the clam pizza. Pizzas come in 2 sizes (9 inch and 12 inch) No dark lagers on the beer menu.
google avatar

Carter J.

Yelp
Phenomenal dining experience tonight at Hearth. We began with meatballs that were divine and for the entree, I had Paolo's Pollo pizza. The sauce and flavor were well balanced and the pizza had a light but sturdy crust. We capped things off with the brookie which was phenomenal. More than the food or atmosphere though, our service was phenomenal. Our waiter Cody was attentive, provided great recommendations, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Highly recommend Hearth and hopefully you get to have Cody as a waiter!

Yelp
Came in last week with some friends for dinner. It was a Monday around 6. We were seated right away, but it started to fill up quickly as we were there! Our waitress was nice and quickly took our orders. I got the mass pike pizza. I got the personal pizza size. It was more than enough food! I brought half home. They have some fun speciality pizzas! A good chill place for dinner.
google avatar

Patty B.

Yelp
Eat in or pick up. Food always consistent. Kids like the pizza most times I order the arugula salad and the hamburger or the meatballs. Fun nhood restaurant. The bar is nice, too. Always a few people eating and having drinks. Outside patio covered is nice but I prefer inside.
google avatar

Derek C.

Yelp
Credit to the other Yelpers for the positive reviews. This was close to our hotel and had 5 stars so we checked it out. We were told that there was going to be about a 30 minute wait but we were actually seated in closer to 10 minutes. We had a variety of food but my son did have the namesake pizza. Every single menu item we tried was excellent! They also have a decent wine list available by the glass. Service was extremely fast and they've got great options for adults and kids alike. Definitely a great place to visit whether you're a family, a group or friends sharing food.

Ray W.

Yelp
Pizza always good and salads as well. Uber delivery is prompt and reliable as well. If you live in Sandy Springs you need to go there.

Yelp
Ep. 107 of AntlantaEats It was a packed night so I knew I was at the right place. I kinda did a "Build your own Pizza" Chicken Pesto, Red Peppers and Mushrooms and it was lit I love wood fire style pizzas. The 2nd order was the Meat Lovers (another recommendation) Despite the crowdiness, service was fast. Props to the staff!

Yelp
We went tonight with another couple and had a wide assortment of food. Appetizers , drinks , salads , pizza's and dessert. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The service was very good. Food arrived in a reasonable time after we ordered. All the alcohol ordered tonight was either beer or wine so I can't comment on their mixed drink performance. The wine and beer selection was good though. All food was served at the appropriate temperature and actually had eye appeal. My wife and I shared the large " Not so Mellow " pizza. This had a marscarpone mushroom cream base instead of red sauce with a mix of roasted mushrooms and goat cheese on top that we added chicken to , with a fig balsamic drizzle. This pizza was excellent. It was so good we couldn't stop eating it and finished the whole thing which is not like us at all. After dinner we shared the cinnamon sugar donuts which came with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and some strawberry jam. We made reservations ahead of time so we got to sit in one of the booths against the wall. It appears ( I might be wrong ) that reservations get the booths and walk ins get the tables in the center of the room. The booths are good because it removes you from some of the noise but the spacing of the booths is kind of tight and you are fighting your friend across from you for foot room due to a large table base. A minor consideration for an overall excellent meal and night out with friends.
