Meet the Chefs Heading to the Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival | Eater Dallas

"Making his festival debut, Hendary’s Food Truck (Chef Antoine Hedary) will showcase the foods he grew up eating — very green, fluffy falafels made like his dad used a big grinder to create, his favorite stuffed grape leaves (dolmas), and shish tawook (chicken kabobs) — and Hedary frames his participation as a way to keep his family’s traditions alive after a difficult personal and family history, hoping to give new people a chance to fall in love with this food." - Courtney E. Smith

Yelp
Hedarys food truck is my guilty pleasure. I even mark when they are coming in my calendar. Their falafel is by far my favorite. Can't wait for them to come back to the neighborhood.

Yelp
Just ordered Hedary's Food Truck for the first time. Wow!!! We got the family meal and chose gyros, sujuk, and chicken. It also comes with rice, salad, pita, and a generous serving of hummus! Everything is delicious and plenty of food to go around. We'll definitely be back!! Highly recommend Forgot to take pics because we dove right in. My new favorite! Edit to add: My husband is from Egypt/Saudi and just got some (he was in a meeting and I didn't wait lol). He's super impressed too! "Just like back home" were his words!

Yelp
The Hedary family recipes live on in this food truck. They have the best food, and I will always look for them when I'm in town. It's fresh, delicious, and absolutely amazing. The hummus and tahini sauce were pure perfection. The falafel were fried just right. What a blessing! Thank you!

Yelp
I was so excited for a different option for a food truck, other than Mexican / Tex-Mex; so when I saw Hedarys offering gyros, I jumped at the chance to order. I ordered 2 gyro plates and an order of falafels - the only thing that was 1/2 way edible was the gyro meat; everything else had a bitter, sour taste to them (salad, hummus & falafel) and the pita was hard & stale. I really do not like writing unfavorable reviews, but this needed to be said.

Yelp
I love this place! I work a Bottle House on Main and I'm always excited when they visit the south main location! The pita bread and hummus is really good! Rice and meat are cooked / seasoned to perfection!! Great price big plate!

Yelp
Amazing! I always worry that you compromise on quality with food trucks but Hedary's is not like that. My gyro was amazing and the tatziki sauce was the perfect combination of spicy, creamy and tangy! My friends got a couple of pizzas and a chicken wrap that were all delicious!!! The location was perfect, right in front of Bodega Bar on Morton street. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. I will 100% be back again and I recommend it to everyone bar hopping on 7th street!!!
