We had a mixed experience here. The pizzas were good. we enjoyed a plain slice and a Heights chicken pizza. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined when we discovered a piece of paper inside one of the empanadas. We're not sure how this could have happened, but it was a big concern. While the pizza was tasty, we won't be returning. It’s a valid concern at how the kitchen staff handles preparing them

If you’re looking for NY style pizza, you’ve found it! Thin, chewy crust perfectly cooked. Flavorful crust, they don’t skimp on sauce, and they use REAL cheese not that fake stuff with additives. The pepperoni is thin and crispy too! Amazing pizza, affordable and delivery came quick! Our new favorite pizza place.

I ordered 2 calzones. They are thin as a peice of paper and soaking wet and completely stuck to the paper underneath, so much so you can't peel it off. It is probably the worse calzone I've ever had. I have eaten here in that past and the food was good but apparently not anymore. These are horrible. They also have barely anything in them, including cheese. Most of it had NO cheese and the part that does is completely stuck to the box because the shell is thinner than paper. I'm really disappointed especially seeing as it was expensive. This is why people don't eat at restaurants anymore and businesses all complain. Do better.

Service is what takes this place from a solid 4 to a 3-star. I placed an online order and the lady at pick up seemed less than thrilled that I was there. Very dry personality with no pleasantries. Forgot one thing from my order but I noticed before leaving and she had it out quickly. For food: Pizza is okay - better to buy a full pie than slices as it seems fresher. Chicken tenders and fries are to die for. Chicken is well-seasoned and perfectly crispy coated. Fries are battered and crispy. Garlic knots are fresh and soft. They could use a tad more garlic flavor, but that's more a preference for me. If they warmed the marinara, it'd be even better. I guess if they'd smile a bit, it'd be a pretty solid place.

I remember when this place first opened the food was phenomenal. The owners were real cool. The people that worked there were really nice and I felt good about spending my money with him. I haven't eaten there in years so a few days ago I decided to go and get a slice and a drink and I have to tell you the moment I walked in I knew something wasn't right. The lady that that came in and tried to help me only talked at a whisperer. It was so weird. I don't know what's going on. The pizza quality is absolutely garbage. Don't waste your money at this place. You're better off going to Sam's club or Little Caesars. I don't know what's going on. Maybe there's new owners but obviously from a lot of the new reviews. The new owners don't care about the customers. They just want money well very soon you're going to lose money because nobody's going to eat there. I live in Seminole heights and I'm going to tell everybody to go to the Hampden place and get pizza. At least they act like they care about you 😭😭💔🥺

The place is cute mixed Colombian. I think the owner is Colombian because I asked about empanadas and they said family has a empanadas place in Colombia. Everyone should give a chance to try empanadas definitely the best. I had also slice pepperoni exactly thin crust it was perfect baked. Next time I will get whole pizza. The girl was in front was very friendly.

if I would give more than 5 star I would. I can tell this place amazing food is great!! I got large pizza and I finished myself and I didnt get any stomach pain normally when I try to eat pizza after that I feel very full. they have absolutely best empanadas. If you are in Tampa area you have to come this place!!

I have ordered from this pizzeria several times and all of my experiences have been great! The pizza is like a New York style pizza right here in Tampa - a gem… Maydel makes my salads perfect every time! 🙏

If you're craving something cheesy and delicious, this spot is a must-visit! Their pizza is packed with meat and cheese, and the dough is cooked to absolute perfection. I went during lunch time which had a deal of two pepperoni pizzas and a drink for $5. I wanted a meat lovers pizza and the host was so nice she allowed it with just a $2 up charge. What really caught me off guard--in the best way possible--is that they also offer empanadas. And let me tell you, these are the cheesiest empanadas I've ever had! You can tell by my face how shocked I was, LOL. I've made some pretty cheesy ones myself, but these take the crown. I think they use the same dough as their pizza, which is probably why it's so good. As someone who was craving both pizza and empanadas, I was SO excited to find a place that does both--and does them so well. The location is a cute pizza stand, so you you'll want to take your order to go. Highly recommend!

10 out of 10. I'm eating leftover pizza right now. It's sooo good. Found this place on Instagram. My husband and I usually only go to one other place. But wanted to give Heights Pizza a try. Their Instagram page is amazing and the photos of the food pulled us in. My husband ordered the Meat Calzone. It comes with a bunch of meat and cheese with Sauce on the side. I enjoyed a piece and loved it. But I dipped mine in ranch dressing. Yum!! We also ordered a medium Pepperoni Pizza. And let me tell you.... It is soooo good!! It's greasy. It's cheesy. And has the right amount of pepperoni on it. I must say this place hits the mark in all areas. I am certain we will be going back. I want to try their Guava Habanero Wings.

Great pizza! Don't know why it was so hard to find a place to pick up pizza around 9pm on a Saturday night. Heights Pizza didn't disappoint though. They were open with quick service. We called in our order, added to it on our way to pick up and everything was ready when we got there!

If you're into New York Style pizza, Wings and Calzones, then Heights Pizza could be your place. They do dine in, take- out, or order online. Thier Pizza and Wings are delicious. Aside from Pizza and Wings, they also serve mouth watering desserts like 3 leches cakes. Come by and check them out if you happen to be around the Seminole Hieghts area. You will like them.

Back again so soon! (Think I did master the online ordering). My friends and I got an empanada each this time. (All the vegan mozzarella & beyond beef) & 3/4 of us loved them. We split an extra large pizza with red sauce, vegan cheese, beyond beef, spinach mushrooms tomatoes and half black olives. It was excellent. My only small issue is that the half olives was $1.25?! Which is the same, if not more, than other veggies on the whole pizza. Might seem petty, but I'm not sure why the cost for half the pizza wouldn't equate to that. We also thought it could've used some more beyond crumbles too. Anyway, flavor is great. Really happy with the vegan options!

The think crust pizza was very good. Expensive but worth it. I had one meatball and one mushroom pie.

Their pizza is pretty good. Maybe not the best in the city but you can also get a whole pie for $14! Their prices are amazing, their options are plenty, and they have some cool latin options too. Great service and they're quick. Great spot overall.

I was so tired. I ordered vegan pizza with beyond beef. It was very tasty with lots of toppings. It was my second time ordering from this place. I will order again.

Nice neighborhood pizza joint. We had a pepperoni pizza, guava habenero wings and garlic knots. Everything was delicious, but a special mention goes to the wings. They were fried nicely and that sauce was super yum! The blue cheese was also great. The pizza and garlic knots were fresh and very hot when we picked them up. We live right down the street and haven't gone in a while after a mediocre experience, but now Heights is back on the rotation!

I ordered a pizza, a tres leches, and a brownie. When I opened the pizza box, there was a COCKROACH crawling and running around. I had to chase after it and discard my entire order. Absolutely disgusting.

"2 Topping" Pizza. Let's play a game, how many slices do you see with only 1 or less of the second topping? The one topping that was there was pretty sparse as well. Dry, barely flavored crust. Overpriced for this kind of low quality. I could get better in a grocery freezer. Want this local to thrive, but the quality must be improved.

This was a first try for us and even though it's a bit pricey (I'm a bit broke, to be fair), it was totally worth it! I had a delicious tastebud experience with my pizza & the entire calzone was eaten, in one night, by my significant other. The pizza was gone the next day. Local & delicious, I'd definitely go back for more. We had ours delivered and the only bummer was that I got no salad dressing with my side salad, even though I specified. Other than that, super good. Update: had the Estafetta Pizza yesterday, a Caprese Empanada, & a Chicken Calzone. I gotta say, this place gets better every time I eat there. The pesto base on the pizza was delicious, & I love the crust (hint of cornbread texture). The empanada was a perfect blend of yummy and somehow fits really well with a pizza blend inside a tasty fried to perfection crust of tasty. Thanks again to my newest fave local pizza!

Everyone in my neighborhood agrees that this place serves fairly bad pizza. I even dropped by a couple of times and spoke with the new managers and they said that they were looking to improve. We have given it plenty of opportunities but the pizza continues to be pretty bad. The cheese is greasy and the crust is mushy in the middle. Over 10 of my neighbors refuse to go there and we would love to have a good, reliable neighborhood pizzeria. I'll gladly change and improve this rating if the do something about improving their pizza. Their empanadas are just ok but it's a pizza house and they'd do well to improve their recipe. I'd give it one star but they remain convenient in location so that's worth something. The service is good but it's a takeout place so there is no ambience.

I called to check if they would do a thin crust pizza, so glad I did it was our first time ordering pizza from Heights and won't be the last. The crust is perfect and the Philly pizza is delicious. The customer service was great when I inquired about the thin crust. A great pizza will order from the restaurant again.

We ordered a custom pepperoni and onion pizza. It was perfectly prepared and delicious. Crust was a thin crust and cooked just enough. Would highly recommend.

Super greasy, barely any of the toppings I asked for. And almost 30.00 absolutely never again. They were literally pieces of banana pepper like somebody had chewed and spit them out. Probably about five pieces total for a medium size pizza. About three jalapeños on the whole pizza just awful.

My wife's favorite vegan pizza to eat with me. I love the variety of options and side items like the vegan beyond and cheese empanadas! Place has slowly become by go to location for pizza during a game.

This was just ok. Strayed from my usual two spots (Lee's, Hampton Station) because I always drive by and think about checking it out, but I will not be doing that again. They were fast, but it appeared to be a very slow Tuesday evening for them. I picked up a medium two-topping pizza, small bbq wings and an order of fries for almost $30. The pizza was almost undercooked, very chewy, and just bland. I don't think I could have told the difference between the dough/crust of this and that of a bagel. The wings and fries were ok, but I mean, how much could you mess that up unless you forgot something or made it wrong completely. For $30 I could have gotten more (and much better-tasting) food for less at my usual spots. The people were nice enough. But that's not enough for me to ever stray from my go-tos again. I recommend you do the same.

I love the calzones and vegan pizza. And they make their own empanadas and have 3 different vegan ones. Best vegan pizza in town, and the prices are great!

Warning to vegans! Don't buy their vegan pizza. It costs $10 more then their regular pizzas, but it's made lighter then the cardboard box that it comes in. Total rip-off. Their large size is not even enough for one person. I saved pictures of it so that I could compare it to Gourmet Pizza Company's pesto vegan pizza. As you can see, GPC's pizza is about 3 or 4 times heavier at around the same price.

I've had such a hard time finding good "real" pizza around here. I usually end up sticking with Jets or Marcos...I know, not real pizza...but they are consistent and tasty and I don't like wasting money. With that said, my husband and I recently cut almost all meat out of our life and I saw that Heights had a Vegan pizza so we decided to give them a try. It was really good! Vegan cheese can be a hit or miss and they seem to have the same one Revolutions Cafe puts in their omelets which I really like. We've also had a Vegetarian pizza there, and that seems to be our go too. They use quality ingredients and put a fair amount of toppings on the pie. By fair, there's enough toppings to satisfy, but not so many that the pie gets soggy while being delivered (which I really appreciate). Although we don't eat the pepperoni pizza, we've ordered it several times when company is over and always get compliments on how good it is. I found it funny another Yelper commented on the "flavorless" crust. No disrespect intended, but real pizza restaurants don't flavor their crusts...only major franchises and chains do...and that is far from real pizza. I will say that the crust on the small and medium pies is the perfect amount of crunch and soft, but the large pie is just a little thin. It almost seems like they use the same size dough possibly so by the time it's a large it's almost more like a thin crust. I do wish they'd add just a little more dough to the larges to make the thickness of the pies more like the smalls and mediums. Overall, a 4 star and we're happy customers!

Eh. Pizza is ok, but the wings are trash. They'd be a TON better if they would take the time to remove the tip of the wing from the flat. Homemade blue cheese dressing is more of a sour cream. 10/10 would not order wings here again.

I took a calzone and some wings for this time, previously I'd tried their pepperoni and it was hell good. Well, the calzone was very tasty I loved it. Nice dough and the filling was really rich, respect! The wings weren't so cool, I felt lack of seasoning. They were fried very well and there was kinda sauce on them but it helped only a little, little wings needed more seasoning for sure. I ordered everything for takeout and it was fast and legit.

I got this for the first time on the recommendation of a friend (now, possibly an ex-friend- lol- but seriously, I'm not happy, Trae...) Heights messed up the order. I ordered boneless wings and a small pizza. I was sent bone-in wings (they weren't good..they are currently in the trash). The pizza came, but it was just ok. It's on par with a basic chain like Domino's (Pizza for people that don't take pizza seriously). To be fair, I was refunded for the wings via uber eats, but being as those wings were the only reason I ordered food from Heights in the first place, I had a very expensive small pizza.. So, a tip on a bigger order, delivery fees, taxes, just to be severely disappointed.. I take my cheat meal days seriously and Heights just messed that up.. I know this sounds like a joke, and some of it is in slight jest, but this legit ruined my day. FYI, I did double check that I did everything right on my end before posting this.. This was just a careless mistake on their part that lost them future business. I don't fault them for the subpar pizza, this is Florida so my expectations are bottom of the barrel, but read the order and execute.. I think this is my first review, so you know I'm butt-hurt.. Good job, Heights. #NoDisrespect

Good vegan options & caring staff that called to offer replacements when they were out of part of my order.

2.5 Stars Decent pizza, but certainly not the best in the area. What they do have going for them is that they deliver for free, if you're within a few miles. The first time I ordered their pizza, I liked it, although I thought it was odd that the toppings of tomato and spinach were under the top coating of cheese. The pizza was delivered barely warm that time. Months go by, and I decide to order from them again. They have an excellent on-line order form. The form said that delivery would be in 50 minutes. The form also had a spot to leave a tip, and while I HATE to leave a tip before I get service, I didn't know if there would be another opportunity, so I did. I completed the check-out, and received a confirmation email saying that the pizza would be there in 60 minutes. 75 minutes go by, and I finally receive my pizza and wings. When I go to sign the form, there is an "additional tip" line. I wonder how many people they scam into leaving a 2nd tip, not realizing the person that ordered it already left one?? Needless to say, both the pizza and the wings I ordered were completely cold. Which is hilarious when you realize that I am 2.2 miles away from the store. Once heated up it was good, although I do feel they are pretty skimpy on the toppings. Lesson learned: Next time the craving hits, I'll have to drive myself the half block to Cappy's, and pick up hot pizza.

All I gotta say is this place is Fire! the pics speak for themselves. Great location, staff is always friends and super quick. If I could, I'd eat Heights every night!

Smelled amazing the second I walked in ordered the estafetta and I'm hopeful it'll be as good as it smells

If I could give zero reviews, I would. I've been a loyal fan for three years but after tonight, I'll never be a customer again! First, they completely messed up our order. 1 salad instead of two. All beef empanadas instead of a split order, no sauce for empanadas, and and and the pizza is totally different than usual. We ordered extra cheese and it barely has ANY cheese. However, the most disappointing thing is the customer service! The manager Robert refused to do anything about the pizza! He actually argued with me! I am furious!! If you value customer service, do not eat here!!!! If you want a good pizza, don't eat here!!!

My husband and I ordered garlic knots and pizza (with spinach) through Uber Eats. We absolutely loved the garlic knots. They were cooked perfectly and were in the shape of what looked like cute bows, paired with a tasty and fresh marinara dipping sauce. The pizza was also very delicious. We liked the cheese and sauce to crust ratio; it was a perfectly balanced crust. We will definitely try it again next time we are in Tampa!

Been ordering delivery from this place for 2 years. 2.7mi away. Now they won't deliver. I suppose they are trying to drive people to Uber eats. I won't pay the premium, especially during inflation. Unfortunate bc I loved supporting this place. Whomever is the manager made a very poor decision. We will never patron again.

Ordered a custom build pizza. Paid extra $4 for vegan cheese and this is all they put?! There's barely any other toppings to which at a minimum we're an extra dollar each. Taste is good but overpriced as f**k for what you get.

My go to pizza spot in the heights. Rarely more than a 20 minute wait for pickup. Wonderful pizza with a Colombian twist.

This place is confusing. Nothing I order seems the same every time. When I try to order vegan pizza that isn't the one explicitly stated vegan option, they get it wrong. So if you're vegan and you don't like your vegan pizza drowned in canned tomatoes and banana peppers, or if you want it with tomato sauce, get over it. Then once it didn't have banana peppers. Another time it didn't have the red peppers. Then once it had a different vegan cheese on it. It was gluey and stuck to my teeth. My boyfriend's choose your own pizza is always so mushy in the middle. Is it too much cheese or is it just stretched too thin? I don't know. It's a huge mush in the middle though, every time, without fail. We ordered it once with garlic as a topping and they didn't put red sauce on it. Why? The yucca used to be cut up small when fried, then suddenly it was huge and hard in the middle. Once I ordered a vegan pizza, they got it wrong and then acted annoyed at ME. They wanted the regular cheese pizza back, but twelve year old girls at my house for a baking party dropped it on the floor. I offered to show them the sludgy former pizza in the box, but they relented and brought me my new pizza. I literally would've eaten the dropped pizza if it was vegan like it was supposed to be. I just didn't need the attitude when I've ordered there at least ten times and given them all sorts of opportunities to work out their growing pains. The food is sometimes good. There are so many things about this place I do like. I really want to order here because it's incredibly convenient. The service is usually friendly. I don't want to dislike this place, I just don't understand how they can continuously mess up our order and occasionally serve us mush pizza.

Free delivery for certain areas is amazing!!!! The pizza is ... maybe - 7/10 (depending on what type of pizza) It's a cheaper option then some other places around Seminole Heights. Their empanadas are pretty tasty and they stand by their food! Not a large dining room. Very close quarters but staff is friendly and welcoming.

Best vegan delivery style pizza around! 10/10 recommend you eat the whole pie yourself

Love this place! Their prices are great and we were used to spending more on pizza at domino's. Two extra large pizzas were enough for our family of four with two teenage boys.

Why 4 stars? Because this is now my favorite pizza spot in Seminole Heights. --- --- --- So let's review the pizza situation in my neighborhood. Currently open: -Cappy's -Hampton Station -Heights Pizza Now closed: Stephanno's --- --- --- I'll be honest... I don't really enjoy Cappy's at all. It's the coolest looking place, but I have just never enjoyed the pizza. And the cash only aspect is just silly at this point. Hampton Station is a solid addition, and super close to my house, but I don't *love* the pizza here. I really did like Stephanno's, but I learned that they recently closed. So that leaves the newest member of the club, Heights Pizza. This was definitely my favorite of the group. We ordered a half supreme and half pepperoni and it was really solid. I was interested in some of the more unique pies like the Colombian, but the girlfriend is less adventurous :) The delivery driver refused a tip, and insisted that the best tip I could offer is feedback. Well... here's my feedback! I really enjoyed the pizza, and can't wait to try you guys again, and hopefully add that 5th star!

Another hidden gem in Seminole Heights. While we did sit and eat (starving) I don't reccomend it. They have two tables and it's mostly delivery or to go. Everyone was super nice. We ordered garlic knots and a meat lovers. Love we did!! I didn't find the garlic knots super garlicky but they were so gooood!! The pizza is very thin crust, lots of cheese and they don't scimp on the toppings! They have a well stocked dessert case. We didn't try any but saw several walk put the door. Pizza my heart!

My favorite thing in this world is to find something amazing in an unexpected place. This spot on N. Florida in Semjnole Heights is sure to be a staple of the area. I had the raspberry chipotle and cilantro lime wings. The place doesn't look like much, as they apparently just opened like a day ago, but the food tastes like a gourmet five-star restaurant. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. You've got to try Heights Pizza!!! Get the wings!

The crust is so great here! Perfect crispy, chewy, and delicious! Love the Margherita pizza and the bbq chicken pizza. The sauce is fresh and homemade. The fresh toppings and quality mozzarella cheese are so yummy

I had the estafetta pizza, it was amazing! With a pesto base and a ton of veggies it was super delightful. They just opened this week so I'm sure they are still figuring out all the little details. The food with out a doubt is delicious and will not disappoint. It is very small inside with only two booths so I suspect they are targeting take out and delivery customers to start out. I'd definitely recommend calling ahead to pick up or see if they are delivering. Also almost forgot, the cook brought out a sample of the fruit salad and it was like nothing I've ever tasted! I hope this place thrives!

I'm never eating pizza again unless it comes from this place! Yelp is making type more to post it as a review, but seriously, this place has done it for me. I can never eat pizza again from anywhere else.
